I have been bringing my vehicles here for many years. I actually moved away from the area, but continue to use their services. The owner Sam, is always very welcoming and respectful to me and to his other customers. I have never once felt like I wasnt taken seriously, or overcharged because I am a female...and that has not been true of some auto shops before. They are accommodating with appointments and will work things out if there is something urgent to address. I have recommended them highly to my friends and family. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I want to say that i was so pleased with the work and how fast my car was fixed. Out of all the places I called due to mechanics being on strike. I was lucky enough to find this mechanic shop and they took my car the same day. I will be coming here for all my auto Mechanical needs! Thank you !!!!!

I had a phenomenal experience with Westmont Shell Auto and Towing. I had a flat tire and was unable to put on my spare tire on my own. Cliston (goes by Chris I believe) was dispatched through AAA and responded very quickly. Rather than tow it unnecessarily, he changed my spare efficiently and was very friendly and professional throughout even though I was outside his usual service area. Thanks for the saving me a lot of money and hassle!

I had a recent experience with them and it was my first contact but it wont be my last. They were quick, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. I learned later that they have been on the corner of 63rd and Cass for over 20 years. They are clearly very busy which tells me that they are good. I liked them. My tire blew on 294 north, I was able to get off on a ramp in a safe area. My insurance company contacted westmont to tow me to a tire place and they contacted me, but refused to come to my location because they claimed to not know where it was. I gave a mile marker number, exit information etc. They are not worth doing business with. Chariot automotive and towing, on the other hand responded to my location with no problem at all. I would highly recommend chariot.

I had to get a tow today and I received service from shell. I was extremely thankful for the service I got from them. I would recommend them for tows t other people. but mostly I want to thank the driver chris. I have a lowered car and he was amazing. if you ever need a tow I recommend chris. amazing man and knows what he is doing.

We had a flat tire and called them for service. They came out quickly and attempted the repair. The donut spare was also flat. No problem at all was towed to the station tire fixed and on my way in less than 90 minutes from my initial call. Thanks to the tow truck driver for making a bad situation much more manageable.

I don’t recommend !I call this morning for jump start .They guy tried it but didn’t work and he said is the alternator.My friend came 2 hours later with a regular jump not professional and it did.Waste money !Don’t recommend .

I had a great experience here and received excellent service. After visiting a neighboring auto shop 3 times with no resolution, I came here within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem, temporarily fix it until part comes in 2 days from now. Sam also repaired my brake light and didnt charge me. Thanks so much Sam, now I know exactly where to go for future problems.

Great tow guy and great staff

My car broke down on the interstate three hours from my home. Everyone here was so nice and extremely helpful. My fuel pump broke and they told me that it would be about three to four hours. It only took two hours from the time the found the problem with my car till it was all finished. They even topped off all of my fluids before I left.They also had a homemade meal of upside down that they let me have some of while I waited. I had an amazing experience here and would highly recommend to others!

I will never forget that day . I was on I 88 going toward Chicago for work and it was very cold outside that day. My car broke down and i was freezing. I called AAA and Westmont Shell came within 20 minutes and they are also AAA Approved for repair. brought me back to their station got my car fixed and they feed me a bagel with coffee. Tow hours later i was on the way back to work.love those guys they are awesome.

Replaced starter for 2002 Toyota Camry le and charges $350.Starter is re-manufactured i believe it cost around 60-70 dollar.But these guys charges me $345 including all (starter + labor).Starter having only 1 year warranty.I have checked with other service center they quote $200 including all.So be aware before going to this center.Do not waste your hard earn money.It look like this center do not have original parts they having re-manufactured and non branded parts.Over all very expensive experience.

My vehicle died on i55, i looked up on google for towing companies near by, and i found westmont shell, i called them up, they responded in less than 25 min, the tow truck driver was so nice, and helpful, really fast service, they towed the vehicle to their shop and it was the altenator problem, and they fixed it for me and they gave a good price. so i prefer my friends and family to go by them.

Great guys, they towed my car from the I 55 and brought it back to there Shell station in no time, they replaced the water pump at good price and they also made me a Falafel sandwish.they treated me very well including tow truck driver and all the other guysThank you so much.I will be back .

If you schedule a tow with these guys a day in advance dont expect for them to be on time.I needed a tow at 8am. They say they were available for 9am. Didnt show so of course i called them at 9:15am to see where they were . I was told the driver was on the way and should be there by 9:30am. No show Ive been sitting in this car waiting since 845ish. Anyhow. Its 9:50am still a no show. I had to be at work at 7am and i told my job i will be in by 10am because the tow truck will be there by 9. Last and final time usinh these guys.

They did a great job on my car and charged me a fair and discounted price. Very honest group of guys here.

I am a AAA member, I broke down on route 83 in Westmont il, AAA called westmont shell to tow my vehicle to their shop, they respond with in half an hour, when the tow truck driver arrived he was so professional in his job, and when we arrived to the Westmont shell I found out that it was AAA approved repair shop, and they fixed my vehicle in less than 2 hours, and they gave me 10% off since Im AAA member and I thank them so much for their friendly assitances

Our insurance scheduled them for towing our car. They called me, and asked me a million questions, which should have already been answered in the transfer of information from our insurance. Then he told me I had to pay $10 in tolls for the 6 mile tow, which would only cost $3 or less in tolls, and there were SEVERAL non-tollway options. Only after I threatened to call another towing company did they drop the $10 charge. Then the driver made a HUGE deal about the car not being drivable and how it would be so hard to tow it. Well, why do you think I called for a tow???? This is the second time Ive had to work with this company with the exact same terrible results. Untrustworthy and disrespectful.

Was towed by the AAA roadside assistance tow truck.....was not taken to the car center I requested, but to this place. YIKES!!!! A mechanic suggested a head gasket problem, a sensor problem, the list goes on and on. They replaced my thermostat, costing $330. I was traveling for work and had no choice but to accept the ransom in order to get my car back. Was not given the 10% discount they offer for being a AAA member. Complained to AAA about the deceptive practice of switching up the car repair location and billing me an outrageous amount for a somewhat but not really fixed vehicle and lastly about not even getting the discount. AAA agreed on all points with me about this business.
