John and Shawn were especially kind and courteous. They stayed on hold with the Speed Queen company for a very long time just to make sure they could do all they could do for my washer. They were thorough and had a good knowledge about my washer and dryer and made sure my appliances were working well by the time they left. I appreciate their professional and kind service. I will definitely be calling them again!

Shawn and Jon came out to look at an error code on my new dishwasher. They were able to determine that the issue was not with the machine but with the plumbing. Really appreciated how fully they explained everything to us.
They checked out the dryer, ordered the part now waiting for the part to get in and they will be back out. The service guys are always good at explaining what needs done and they are always good at scheduling return visits. They even talk to Jeffrey and he enjoys hearing them work.

Samsung has a fix for the ice maker freezing up -- They have a local group to service the problem -- Herb Snow & Son. SHAWN of Herb Snow was the service tech and he was both capable and very courteous. He answered every question and we were very pleased. If she had apologized for the inconvenience instead of making it our fault for the lack of the phone call I was to receive from you for confirmation, this could of all been avoided.4th: its pretty convenient that we were in speaker phone the while time for all to hear. Heading that response seems like you all are comfortable enough to laugh at customers and put customers on speaker phone for all to hear as you say, that you messed up with. We needed a part for our dryer, and looked first online, but it was going to take weeks to arrive. I called around town, and nobody seemed to have it. Then I called here and they were able to confirm they had the part, held it for me, and when we purchased the part, it was half the cost of what we would have paid from online retailers. Its nice to know there is a local store we can support, that has great customer service. Thank you!

“Just to be blunt with you you’re not paying for the part so I shouldn’t be complaining” This is the response I got when I asked why my part came in over a MONTH ago (February 26th) and I had to call to even find out it was there. They claimed they called ONE time and left a VM which is a lie. My husband called two weeks ago and asked about it. He got attitude and was told they would call when the part came in. (Which it was just sitting on their shelves at the point) I have been doing laundry at the laundry for over a month when I didn’t need to be. I spent $100’s in this time. But it’s okay because I didn’t have to pay for a warranty part. It was $80. I would have much rather have paid for the part. Obviously common since is lacking at this business and to be blunt the customer service sucks!
I felt like their receptionist absolutely hated her job and dealing with people so my first impression was that. Gus was very friendly and came to check out our washer. The review is poor because they charged $115 to literally look at the issue and not fix it (we have a bolt that broke in half and is plugged inside the washer and I told them that before they came). I wish they would’ve offered to let me send a picture or at least provide reasonable pricing for visits where no service is performed. Gas/travel price plus technician fee should NEVER equate to $115 for less than 20 minutes of work. Gus is the only reason this is not a 1 star rating. We will be going elsewhere to a place that fairly charges customers.

Beware of warranty work. I f I could given lower than a 1 Rating I would. We had to do business with them twice in Amazon HomeOwner Warranty. We are not the first to complain about their unprofessional and questionable practices. At this point I advised Homeowner Warranty that we will NEVER allow a tech from their company on Our property. We have another home and A different Warranty Company with no problem. Goodbye Herb Snow. Ps . I didnt call your company for help you responded under a warranty notice. When two guys showed up I told them what was wrong and they said they didnt find anything wrong..when I showed them they told me it was a spring but told the warranty company rust under base.who . I said Once Herb Snow was a respected business in Wichita. I would never recommend doing business with them and you dont need to worry... We didnt a call you and we wont again. We also notified the Warranty Company we will not utilize them again. Twice is enough

1ST -The receptionist did not do what was asked and listed the wrong number to get ahold of me when I was told to wait a certain time. When I called I had to reschedule because of the mix up.2ND - when they did come to look, I had to order a part and pay half of the bill before they would even come back to fix my problem with my ice machine. A $700 part for those that wanted to know.3RD - Wait for the part to be delivered and Scheduled for that part to be put in my freezer.4TH - Receptionist called to Re-Re Schedule because the tech I was working with quit on them.5TH - I was called to be told that a tech was on his way. Over an hour later after I was notified from the receptionist I called to ask. She lied to me to tell me that he must have got “hung up”6TH - tech finally calls to tell me that he is 30mins away. So over an hour and a half past what I was told to have them be expected. Plus on top of the 4hour wait they ask you to give them.Just FYI...... not the dependability people

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! Absolutely Terrible! They will not follow required manufacturer guidelines to repair your appliance!!! And their repairs will fail!!!Last year, we called for our washer/fridge/ice maker to be serviced, after numerous attempts on both, they are still not fixed. On the washer they didnt put a bolt back in and nearly ruined the washer. Now, it is still making the same noise they supposedly repaired last year. On the ridge/ice maker we paid over $1200 per THEIR recommendations and we still do not have a properly working ice maker. I vowed to never use them again.Fast forward to two weeks ago, I contacted the manufacturer for a defective part/known issue on my Samsung fridge and Samsung contracted with Herb Snow and Sons. I did not have a choice in the repair company. I should have requested a new company then but decided to give them one more chance. That is my fault. The Service Manager instructed me to do something that IS NOT on the manufacturer service bulletin guidelines, after looking the bulletin up, I called to tell them that, and the owner/customer service woman was EXTREMELY rude and explained that they would have to reschedule to come out. I understand the scheduling but tried to ask why they would recommend something that was not the proper fix in the first place. She then got even more rude, and proceeded to LIE and tell me that unplugging my fridge was within guidelines. I have spoke with Samsung and they have assured me they DO NOT have any guidelines that say to unplug the fridge. The technician also used to screwdriver to pry open the ice maker and broke the face plate off (which was not per service bulletin, and has been reported to Samsung).These people are liars, manipulators, and DO NOT properly fix appliances. And whats worse is, they truly dont care whether they properly fix it or not.Do Not Do Business With Them. You will regret it!!!!

They came out for a warrenty repair. They fixed the dryer no problem but did not figure out the washer leak, which was no problem, because we thought it was leaking from the door, but it was really leaking from the back of the detergent drawer, inside the washer. I fixed it with hot glue. I am very satisfied with the washer and the repair of the dryer.
I had a disagreement with this company and was upset they had called the wrong number so my appointment was canceled. This was upsetting as I had given them my cell number at least 4 x. They had my son in laws number because he had started the process as I was sick and had been in the hospital. When they started working on my appliance I gave them my number to call. This had been over a period of several weeks. One person would say that something was ok and then the next person would change it I list my patience with them and verbalized my unhappiness. The manager over the repair shop told me if I was that unhappy they would not even come put to finish the job. I didnt know that the policy was if you get upset with this company they will just write you off. I told the manager I wasnt asking them to quit and I had been without a washer for a long time. She didnt care as I had offended her with my complaint. Yes I did raise my voice but I cant help they could not keep my number straight. Anyway I would not but from them or ask them to repair again.

Herb Snow and Sons has always done a great job and is a very good company but the Speed Queen Dryer that we just purchased is defective. It would not dry on the initial install, service man looked at it and said it had a faulty thermostat from the factory. (I guess they dont have any quality control at Speed Queen). The new part was ordered, it came in, service man back to the house and it only works on one of the drying cycles the others cause a wire to smoke?I wonder if that is even safe to have in my house.Very disappointed in Speed Queen and would never buy one of their products again. I guess I should have gone with a made in China brand.
We asked for a phone call before the came and gave them 2 phone numbers. They wrote one of the numbers down wrong.... reading other comments it sounds like that is a thing with them. They called the other number and left a message, we called back 12 minutes later and they said we would have to reschedule for 1 week later.I asked to talk to an owner... WOW, you can tell she is always right! She was rude and hung up on me... Sorry Herb, but your business is not what you intended it to be :(

Visited by two technicians, both polite and professional. The first was able to diagnose the problem within twenty minutes but didnt have the parts available so they had to be ordered. The second tech did a great job on the repair and even offered some pointers on preventing future issues. Would definitely recommend the service for anyone who needs it.
We have previously bought used appliances from HerbSnow & sons, but will NEVER go back again! Called to check and see if they had any used washer and dryer. Lady that answered said they had a few. We drove across town, less than 20 minutes, and when we walked in and asked where the used washer and dryer, the man working there said we dont have any. I said we just called and someone said you did. He said well we dont. Then a young blonde gal piped up yes we do, in the back. He proceeded to tell her rudely we we didnt have any on Saturday (it was Monday). The lady said there were two in the back. He begrudgingly took us to the back to show us the 2 refurbished sets that they were asking $1299 for the set... Both were still filthy and looked awful!!! We decided we would shop around and were able to get a brand new set comparable to the refurbished ones for just over $1000. Thanks for showing us your true colors...
First time I’ve ever needed a part for my washer- I have them a part number and he told me they didn’t have it, but he looked online and quickly found me one on another website and stayed on the phone to ensure I found the same thing.The 5 minutes I was on the phone with him was so much more productive and polite than the other stores I had just happened to call before him.I don’t remember the name of the gentleman who answered, but thank you for your time and service!

Our experience with Herb Snow & Son Appliances turned out very satisfactory. We scheduled a service call for our whirlpool washer. It had a lid lock problem and turned out to be the control board. This service call was on a Friday afternoon. It turned out not to our advantage in repairing the issue so we chose to purchase a new washer. The service tech contacted the company to see what machines were available and scheduled one for delivery first thing Monday morning. Thank you Darren.Monday morning we received the confirmation call that they would be out right away.Arrived and installed the machine. Hauled away the old machine. Thank you Koby & Mike.After first two washing’s something just didn’t seem right so I first tried to troubleshoot with Speed Queen online. Tried to access download of the Manuel but was unable to get that accomplished in a timely fashion so I called Herb Snow and Son’s. I immediately was told they would have the service manager come out between 3:00 & 6:00.Soon after that Shawn the service manager called and was so professional and polite. Troubleshooted over the phone with a possible solution along with confirming he would be out as soon as he finished with his current job. Shawn called once again before he was headed our way.Once he arrived he was very easy to interact with and his willingness to solve the issue was impressive.He listened and educated us on our new washer.The “Dependability People” is what they advertise and they definitely are all that!Thank you Shawn. We truly value and appreciate your prompt and professional way of conducting business!
On Monday,I had service schedule for today Wednesday 6/17. Called them to find out if they are coming, their answer was “ We tried to call you to confirm your appointment but your phone doesn’t have a voicemail setup” I told them to stop lying and call my number while I’m on the phone to check if I have a voicemail or not, they said “We don’t have time to confirm that and we are going to let you go” Basically they ends the call to avoid the embarrassment, very rude, unprofessional customer service and unreliable service. They just called me again to cancel and reschedule for Saturday 6/19. I do not recommend them for any service period. Update: Service technician came and had a defective part and rescheduled to Friday 6/24 at 7:00 am (that is 2 weeks of waiting and 2-3 hours of phone calls to get the repair done). The technician (Shawn) is a good man and very understanding, but the rest of store are trash. My final recommendation based on the experience I had is: don’t buy Samsung appliances to avoid their only service center in town, and for their poorly setup and warranty process.
Our refrigerator died Sunday so we went in to buy a new first i called Ben was rude and short on the phone so we drove up there he said you pick the wrong time to buy something with the pandemic,i thinking i can leave and go buy it somewhere else the only saving grace to this whole experience was the delivery guys they were kind and sincere when I ask what happened to their sales people i have never had this bad of experience with them i bought 2 washers and 2 dryers they need some kindness and glad someone comes in to buy something
Our refrigerator died Friday night/early Saturday morning. Herb Snow had one in stock that they could deliver Saturday afternoon. The big box stores couldnt deliver for at least a week. And the one we bought was quite a bit cheaper than the big box stores too. Plus Id always rather support a local mom and pop business than a national chain store.
We bought a new washer and dryer last week. My husband and I were very impressed with the level of service received. The sales people were very kind and patient (I had trouble deciding what to buy). The delivery boys were very polite and walked me through how to run a cycle. I would recommend them to anyone.
I have to amend my one star review of a couple of weeks ago complaining about a defective Speed Queen dryer. Kimberly at Herb Snow and Sons worked with the manufacturer and got a complete new dryer for us. It was installed this afternoon and works fine. I want to thank Kimberly for her hard work in getting this situation fixed in a very timely manner.

I’ve recently had a really odd issue come up with my refrigerator and when inquiring about a price I’ve paid over the phone, the store manager really showed some very rude and combative behavior. Such as I am more than welcome to take our business elsewhere as if dealing with me was ruining her day. I’ve spent my hard earned money at this establishment before and expected to be treated with a little more courtesy and integrity.
Sean came by today along with a fellow coworker and not only did they show up in a timely manner, but they ask worked for almost two solid hours to make sure that the Samsung TV I had purchased got back up and running. They were both expertly prepared and very polite/respectful. The work they did was detailed and very professional and if I have any other issues I will definitely be giving them a call. Five very bright stars for these guys!!
Just called about a needing a new flex hose to replace the one on my old gas range its 50 years old Im 72 the woman was a robot said they couldnt do anything without a model number its may be on the hose I kind a think they think theyre to good to work on an old stove they wont have the option of selling me a new one if it couldnt be fix because the wont even com ot and look and Im only 5 blocks away.

Buying a washer and dryer from Herb Snow and Son was a horrible experience.There was a mix-up that should have been a simple issue to take care of that they failed to take care of.To make matters worse, the people I dealt with weren’t just rude, they were MEAN...The true character of a business (or a person) shows when there is a problem that needs to be solved and this business showed a complete lack of character.

My unit was less than 1 month outside of the warranty and was going to cost over $200 to fix, but Derek M. suggested I call the manufacturer and see if they would help me out and they did! We were very happy with the service and that instead of just taking my money they looked out for my best interest and helped me save over $100 after the initial service fee.
My name is in your records, multiple times....as it took you multiple house calls to further break/damage my appliance, eventually leaving it worse than when you began. The people answering the phone at your business are rude and spiteful...I can see the same nasty attitude in responses to your bad reviews. How does a consumer know if the good reviews for your business are really from a customer in your records? You allude to bad reviewers as being inaccurate or fake when the inaccuracies which exist are how you carry out business. Head on over to Yelp where theres more negativity about your sham operation and your inept employees. Your commercials are ignorant and unprofessional too.My response to yours: You are a liar. I called with my frustration on your company not being able to fix the issue after FOUR visits. You got rude with me when I told you I had not choice but to go with your company due to the extended warranty. You then began arguing with me, got rude and hung up on me. I was hung up on the second time when I called back. This juvenile and unprofessional behavior is well documented in the reviews here as well as Yelp and the BBB which Ive filed a report with too. Your company consistently lies about your interactions with customers, and is a right fighter. Guess what? Youre not always right---especially in these cases. Shawn came to our home because my Samsung freezer wasn’t defrosting. By the time he got here it was working fine, but he told us to make sure the freezer door is completely closed. If anything is sticking up it will do this. Great job Shawn.

I have used this company for years and Im always amazed at their excellent service. I cant name another service provider of any kind that I could put in their category. I can recommend Herb Snow and Son Maytag, without reservation. (I know this sounds to good to be true, but it is my honest account of my experience.)

The efficiency, professionalism, and workmanship cant be beat. They know their machines, service is done fast with accuracy. Our family would recommend Herb Snow and Son Maytag, to all who need appliances and service.My original Maytag Washer and Dryer was purchased in 1995, 20 years ago. Our washer just had repairs done last Dec. 2014, and just yesterday our dryer needed repairs, they were able to get parts and fix it with ease. Were very glad to support the local small business. My Dad and Mom started using them when the store first opened back in the 50s or 60s Nice to have the options other than the big box stores to service your needs.

I came in today to buy a belt for a washer that wouldnt agitate. I had looked up the troubleshooting on the internet, and most common problem for Roper to not agitate was a loose or busted belt. I arrived at the store, told the guys what I needed. They looked up my model and were like nope, that model is a direct drive, you need a lid switch. I bought the part, went home and changed it out. I ran the washer through a full cycle, ran like a champ. Thank you guys for making sure I had the right part to get back in service.

I recently purchased a rebuilt washer and dryer set from Herb Snow Maytag. The salespeople are the most knowledgable and honest in the business. The delivery and installation went smoothly and the crew were most courteous. I also had my dryer vent pipe cleaned and could not believe the amount of dirt built up in it. Shawn came out to fix my washer last year, this year he was back to fix my new tv. This young man knows his stuff. Polite and very professional. Thank you shawn and herb snow and sons.

I had Shawn deliver my washer and dryer for me as mine had went out. He was very courteous, well mannered, and thoughtful in what he did for me. Had them out Oct 2019 to hook up existing washer/dryer that I purchased from them several years back. A week later I discovered the hot/cold water lines were hooked up backwards and the dryer vent wasnt installed properly and was blowing openly in the laundry room. Wont be doing business there again. Very disappointed.
Herb Snow and Son repaired my LG refrigerator. They have excellent customer service - both the scheduler and the tech, Ryan, were very accommodating and courteous! They gave me a 4 hour window of when they might arrive and Ryan was here at the very beginning of the allotted time. He was well mannered, friendly and efficient; explaining what needed to be done and doing the work quickly and cheerfully. I will definitely call Herb Snow and Son the next time I need any appliance repaired!!
Ive known Kelsey Snow, one of Kevins daughters who also works in the store, for 6 years now and within those years whenever my family is in need of any kind of new appliance she will get us the quote for what we would need and it is seriously the best in town. Everyone who works here will try their best to get the service youre needing in a timely professional manner and theyre always happy to help. I highly suggest coming here first before going to any other store for your appliance needs, it will be well worth it!
This company was contracted to come repair my dishwasher. Determined that they wouldnt service my area, but didnt call to let me know. so Ive gone another week without a working Dishwasher. Guess this company has sold enough and serviced enough that they dont need my business now or in the future. One upset customer = loss of 50 potential customers Poor customer service. Older gentlemen who answered the phone when I called, didnt say he was sorry they couldnt help me or sorry that I didnt get notified. Just, we arent coming!added info: 6/7/18 after Owner Response: Owner response does not cover anything about the rude and inconsiderate response from them when I called. This is consistent with other reviews and they NEVER address it. I believe their response is consistent only in that its NEVER their fault and they always have an excuse..
I have used their services twice within the last 6 month and couldnt be more pleased. They were professional and polite. In fact, in both instances, the employees went above and beyond what was expected. The price for services and appliance were fair and comparable to other companies around town. I plan to continue using them for all future needs.
Parents needed to get their Kenmore Elite Fridge serviced. Shawn came out to their house to check it out. They will not warranty LG Compressor, amd told me it will cost $1,173.87 Price for the Compressor. He priced me for service call to come tell me they will not warranty my LG Compressor for $115.55!!!! thats it! they told me that exactly!!!! and I had to pay $115.55. I told him on the phone that it was Kenmore Elite and he even knew it had a LG Compressor. He also ruined my warranty on my fridge because he let out the Freon in the Fridge. I called Sears they warranty my compressor even when this company technically made me lose my warranty on the fridge for letting out the freon. Sears was kind of enough to warranty my compressor and fixed it FOR way Less!! $408.50. Herb Snow and Son wanted to charge me $1,173.87 (I can Buy a new fridge at that price!!) plus I had to pay the $115.55 just for him to tell me they cant work on it. Stay away from this company they will charge you for a visit, and will try to screw you in repairs. Repair order 43687 5/11/19. Derek Miller was our service tech, and he did an excellent job. Our refrigerator wasnt able to be fixed with the initial visit, but Derek made the extra effort to work us in on a Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend his service to friends and family.
Our service tech was Shawn Forrest. The repair was straight forward Tough break for the suspension supplier. He showed me before and after stabilization of the drum related to the rods. Also explained what parts were installed for the recall.Thanks Herb Snow and Sons! Righteous Company!
