Awesome, great, friendly staff I was unload fast

Great experience. As a woodworker, its always fun to see the mill shop. The employees were all friendly. Picked up 50bf of 5/4 maple, 10bf of 4/4 maple and then a slew of exotics from their retail store. Really enjoyed the distribution yard though. Highly recommended.

Star lumber is a horrible business. We just replaced our decking material - pressure treated boards supplied by STAR about 7 years ago that were improperly treated. These board have been molding from day 1, despite bleach and other treatments multiple times per year.We ordered Timbertech material from a catalog kit that STAR provided. The baluster color we selected is evidently not made - so now we have decking with an incorrect rail color.Unfortunately, this is typical of STAR lumber sales and service - they will sell it if they have it, they wont service anything. If you have any choice, do not go to STAR, there a reputable lumber yards in the area - both national chains and local ones.
