I was delighted that Brandon was there to take care of me since he did such an amazing job during our first encounter over a year ago. He remembered me! His customer service skills are great. I felt like we were friends. What a great employee you have! Very personable, polite, and really cares about what the customer needs. We went to look into upgrading our plan and to see if adding the 40G hotspots would be cost prohibitive. Brandon was very helpful and reassuring that we could upgrade and NOT increase our monthly bill. And he was able to get us what we wanted!! My situation started on Saturday 9/11/2021...My 3 year old wireless hotspot router quite working which I got from AT&T. I returned it to this location since 3 years ago is where I bought it. They sold me an upgrade version and I had it delivered there at the store. Wednesday 9/15/2021 it arrived at the store and I picked it and took it to work since I work only a block away. I activated the sim card that came with the router there at work. The router notification flashed that I needed to insert the sim card. The sim card was already inserted so I took it out and re-inserted it. The notification again flashed that the sim card was not inserted. I called tech support. Tech support instucted me to do the same process of taking out the sim card and re-inserting it. I did like they asked. The router still did not recognize the sim card. I was told to go back to the AT&T store and buy a new sim card. I bought a new sim card and the store employee inserted it in the router and once again the router did not recognise the card. The next day Thursday 9/16/2021 I called tech support and went through the same process a third time. This time tech support concluded that the router device was defective and went throuh the process of reutrnig the defected device and getting a replacement. After she input all the info she said that the response from croporate AT&T was that their tech support would get in touch with me within 48 hours. I thought that was unacceptable and the next day Friday 9/17/2021 I went back to the original AT&T store and requested a replacement. The employee there were very kind and understanding and it took them about 3 hours to resolve the issue how ever it was after closing time and I had to return on Saturday 9/18/2021 to place an order for a replacement.

I cant believe I havent written a review for these guys yet, given Ive been in the store so many times. Brandon and John are very knowledgeable and I never hesitate to ask questions or for their opinions - I trust them and their experience, and I know they will always be honest with me. I had some pretty severe issues with a phone I had almost a year ago now, and through no fault of the guys (or AT&T for that matter) I couldnt get my phone replaced, Google is pretty skimpy in terms of warranties and customer service. However, Brandon and John both went to bat for me countless times with Google reps and even with their own AT&T reps to help me out. Even though nothing could be done, I greatly appreciated the time and care they took to resolve my issues.As for those complaining about wait times, setting up a phone service can be a lengthy process. There is a LOT of information to collect, most of which is on the representatives end, so you wouldnt know the extent of all the paperwork and info they have to fill out. I would recommend making an appointment online and setting aside an ample amount of time to prevent frustration on your part. Its never a good idea to rush the process of purchasing a phone that could be over a grand. Trust the process!Again, these guys are the best and I dont hesitate to come to them with any problems or for advice. Their hard work is appreciated, thank you Brandon and John!

I broke my phone on vacation and went to get a new phone cause I couldnt be in a different state without one for safety purposes. Karen the sales rep made it seem everything was taken care of but she put me on a new plan without telling me and the next bill TRIPLED. the main holder of the plan is now scrambling to get our plan back and I will most likely be returning my phone. I take back my nice review I gave the automatic survey that was texted to me. Karen 100% took advantage of the fact I was upset, confused, and frantic about being in a different state with no phone.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Since my issue has not been addressed and is no longer posted, I am resubmitting it....I was visiting Williamsburg, VA last week. While there, I couldnt find my blue tooth headset, so I traveled over to this local AT&T store to purchase a replacement. I found one exactly like the one I left at home & purchased it.Now, Im home, I tried to register the product for warranty; but, have found out that I need the receipt for proof of purchase, I looked for the receipt; but, cannot find it. I called the store to request a duplicate.Upon my initial call, I was told that I could go to any of my local AT&T stores and get a copy. I drive to a local store and the last receipt they can find is from 2017, which means the purchase was not documented in my AT&T account. I call the store again and am told someone will look for the receipt and email it to me (email like it should have been emailed in the first place had my info been gathered at point of sale.)Eventually I talk to the Manager, John, and he tells me the receipt cannot be pulled by the store since it was purchased more than 3 days ago. He assures me that he will get my info to the person who can pull the receipt and ask them to reach out to me and send me my receipt. Nothing.Today is Saturday and I have not heard from anyone I have been an AT&T wireless customer for 15+ years, it seems that the customer service is dwindling moment by moment. Obviously, no one is looking for my receipt. In this day and age with the technology available and especially at the fingertips of a major technological company like AT&T, I really should have had it at the first request.Customer service means nothing anymore to these huge companies. So I came into the store unsure if it was my phone or a network glitch and panicking because my flight was leaving soon. I am so amazed at the level of patience and service provided the agent quickly assisted me with issue and fixed my phone. He was so friendly and helpful thank you for not only helping me but easing my nerves before my flight! I recommend this location highly! I even observed the agent assist a senior citizen with her new phone and he was just a joy and so patient with her that means a lot!

My daughters and I spent several hours in the Williamsburg AT&T store over the weekend getting new phones and I cannot say enough nice things about our salesperson, Brandon. He was so knowledgeable and fun, and he made the whole afternoon enjoyable. One of my daughter’s phone took hours to transfer data and he was so helpful and pleasant, AT&T is very lucky to have him.

However the higher HQ in his tech support of AT&T and FirstNet made the process last 5 hours.Even though it was so frustrating, Brandon handled himself in stern and professional manner to compel the tech supporters to do their job.

These guys are literally angels on earth. I went in with an old phone thinking it would be an easy transfer and upgrade (and it should have been) but my old phone failed me literally every step along the way and none of the cloud sharing options would work. I have both super important and very sentimental things saved to my phone and the idea of losing them was devastating. Brandon and John spent over a week working with me to make sure my content transferred, we literally tried every trick in the book. Their patience, kindness and compassion kept me from having a complete mental breakdown. Hands down, I’m never going to take my business anywhere else.

Awesome customer service. I had my phone break the night before a Overnight truck stop, went into the store 20 minutes before closing. They helped me activate a replacement phone and checked my new phone for damage. I was walked through the steps to claim insurance. They were helpful and very kind, even though I came in late. John, the manager, was extremely helpful. I lost my phone and went into the store expecting a nightmare, however, he was able to walk me through each step and I left extremely satisfied. The poor guy spent 3 hours with me and held a friendly demeanor the entire time. I was apprehensive about going to an “authorized dealer” instead of an actual at&t store but decided to try instead of driving an extra half hour to the other store. Take my advice, save yourself the trip, and visit this place.

Horrible customer service. My son and I were in a rush when we went to this location. The staff member opened my sons iPhone box without asking or notifying us first and placed it in a bag. We opened the bag in the car while driving and realized it was not the phone he wanted. We immediately called the store to request to get the correct phone however, they advised they would charge my son a restocking fee if we wanted to come back to return it because the box was opened. SMH.

Wow! Brandon was phenomenal! I was so very disappointed in the NN location so I went to the Williamsburg location instead. My husband and I stopped by in the early afternoon and waited about 15 mins and realized we would have to come back later. Brandon and the manager said they would put our phones we wanted on hold until we came back tomorrow, we actually made it back before closing! Brandon not only helped, he was patient and had a lot of product knowledge! He explained the 2 phones in detail what we would be getting! Down to showing us the face unlock set up, exploring the new features on the iPhones and assuring our information was downloaded to our new phones. He went BEYOND expectations and I truly appreciate it! He was friendly, outgoing and an assets to the Williamsburg location! Even more, his manager should be proud he is representing AT&T!!!

Lousy service, Attitude, and one of the worst telecommunications companies out there.They even destroyed any credibility that Direct TV had left when they recently purchased them. I had an unbelievable experience today at the AT&T store on Monticello. I bought a Galaxy phone the day before that I thought would be great but turned out that I did not check the fine print on my new hearing aids....only iPhone compatible. I returned to the store after a sleepless night and the manager, John Nipe, assured me he would help me get the right phone. I wish I could convey how patient and kind John was and how he assured me that he was there to help me and that he did! I was able to return my new Galaxy phone for an iPhone with all my info retransferred back and new phone set up complete with hearing aids! I have never received this kind of service with such a patient and helpful attitude. We have made other purchases in this store and Jessica is also just as helpful and patient and knows her stuff! Great place to shop and so helpful!

It depends on the day you go but i feel there manager isnt very helpful and she really just pushed me to the side when it was my turn. I had been waiting for 15 min and I was mad because people coming in after me were getting help and I wasnt. Though Im 16 i am still a customer who had questions about my phone that doesnt work very well. I asked her if I could upgrade the phone and she was just saying that she would buy my phone and otter box case for $40. It was my turn and she shoved me away (figuratively) and went on to another customer because, they had been waiting longer than you have sir, I really need to help these folks, come back in thirty minutes. I was so angry and i feel like switching over to somewhere else. Our version people are so nice and helpful but the AT&T crowd wasnt. I dont blame the employees because they were working and she was just walking around the store before i spoke up. The owner or supervisor needs to give her a word because my family has been using AT&T since they bought Cingular and for me 2011. Please have better service the next time I go, thank you.-Mike

Ive been in to this location quite a few times recently because I was having issues with a phone that I bought directly through Samsung and have ATT as my service provider. Not only are they extremely helpful and friendly despite me not purchasing the phone directly through them; but theyve solved every single problem Ive had and have been very informative. Each time Ive stopped in Ive been on lunch break and the Manager Alan; as well as Jessica have been so prompt and helpful! It has honestly been the best customer service experience Ive ever had! I wish I could go back and buy the phone directly though them just to give them the business they deserve for being so helpful! AMAZING location. Horrible place. Walked in was not even acknowledged by guy who said he was the manager. Walked around the store while manager chit chatted with gentleman for over 10 minuets about football and cable. He never asked if he could help us or even let us know that he’d be with us at all.
