If I could give zero stars I would… Owner/clerk is extremely rude… Told me I have to leave because I wasn’t playing on his illegal gambling machines.. Gas is ridiculously expensive as is everything else in the store… Expect to pay about 1 1/2 times the typical price elsewhere… I used to frequent this location When it had a previous owner… You couldn’t pay me to go in this new guys parking lot.. Horrible experience In every possible way- AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS

Great little place to stop. A bit of a neighborhood gas station/grocery store. Owners pretty friendly.

Stopped in town here for work and the owner and younger lady were very kind, and accommodating.

This place has more variety and options for drinks and snacks from other countries and many of the large businesses we have down here. There are drinks from Korea, Japan, Lebanon, you name it. The owner is also slowly building up the stock of other foreign treats. Also this is a place to get ethanol free gas at all octane levels for a reasonable cost. This is a great country store and the area is lucky to have it.

This store did price gouging during the May 2021 gas shortage. They raised their gas prices by over a dollar, capitalizing on fears about gas not being available. Shame on them.

I stopped in yesterday and played on their slot machine, it was really thrilling when I put a twenty in and played for five minutes and hit for $6020.00. When I came back this morning, the owner said that he would not pay me the full amount. Instead, he paid only half of it and said I dont deserve the full amount because there are people who put in a thousand at a time and they should have been the lucky one. With that I said that is gambling, you dont know what you are going to get, its part of the thrill. Then he said hes a guy of integrity, I said if you are a guy of integrity, you should pay the full amount, or at least give me the rest in store credit. After that, he said if I ever come back, hes not going to pay me if I win again. Im never going back and if you are the type to test your luck, dont do it there, if you get lucky, he will make sure you dont get what you gain. There are plenty of other places that will pay for your gains, and congratulate you on your win. Maybe if he did, I would have been one of those people who put in a lot of cash.

Air pump is super slow. Whole place is dirty. No restrooms even for paying customers. Skip it and go 5 min down the road.

Ethanol free gas, good beer selection, and live bait are all great. Prices a little on the high side, but the convenience and quality are worth it most of the time

I Love this store and the owner LITERALLY has everything!!!! Like variety? This is where you can find ANY kind of drink, juice or whatever!!!Like a wall of different cigars, cigarettes, candy, chips, heck even fishing tackle or camping supplies and I promise if there is something he doesn’t have ...by chance.... HE WILL have it next time you come by!!! Oh His NC Lottery overwhelmingly HE HAS LIKE EVERY ticket!!!! The owner does not know my name as do i know his and its been a few months since i have been by but i can be assured that he knows me when i come in he has ALWAYS been very friendly to me and I’ve always felt welcome to browse all he has to look at!!! While we swap stories of whats been going on lately lol!! This store has been around for ever its not a chain store so stop by and give your local country store support because it wouldn’t be the same without it!!!

Everything is way overpriced and the guy thats always behind the counter is always rude.... after the way he treated another customer today I wont ever go back. Need to work on your personality man.. treating people that way isnt acceptable and word is getting around.

Great selection of craft beer. In a pinch this place is good for a cold one.

I saw the owner at The Dollar Tree at monkey junction. His cart was filled with candy, snacks and other items. A couple days later I went into the store to pick up a drink to get to soda I walk down the aisle where they have candy and snacks and theyre on this wall rack what he paid a dollar for he was selling for 395 and the worst part of it is hes at a location where people might be going to the beach and they forgot something and they are going to pull in there for something they may have forgotten to pick up at the store and theyre going to the beach they have to get it now so theyre going to get it there and that guys going to make a 400% profit

Worst place ever! 90% of their food is outdated or expired! They dont have a restroom for customers anymore!! DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!! NO STARS!

If possible I wouldnt give this overpriced place any stars. Rude and unfriendly cashier and really hope he isnt the owner. Everything in that store is 2-4 dollars more than the scotchman less than a mile down the road. What a joke. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere. Staff is very rude and will not be going back again.
