Signed up for a covid vaccine booster shot weeks ago. Got text messages asking me to confirm my appointment. Arrived early to get my shot. Got up to the counter after waiting another 10 minutes in line to then be told that they ran out of booster yesterday at 4:30 p.m. and that the person was about to start making phone calls again just now. 5 minutes before my appointment. Not really sure why I didnt get a phone call at the very least this morning to let me know to not drive the 20 minutes to that location. I understand that you may run out of doses. I dont understand why I wasnt informed more than 5 minutes before my appointment.

The Pharmacy is in complete chaos (been that way for 6-8 weeks now). The people are very friendly but it is completely understaffed. No drive-in, taking 6-8 days to fill prescriptions and nobody ever answers the phone. I am not complaining about the people that are there - this is completely a management problem. I have been to a couple other CVS locations and while not perfect they are doing much better then this one. Time for CVS corporate to put some attention to this store.

This pharmacy is basically inoperative and has been for months. They close randomly during the day without warning, haven’t answered the phone for months, and take weeks to fill any prescription if you can catch them when they’re open. We transferred to another CVS but they still autofilled one drug that I now can’t get because they’re never open. They either need to close completely or at least update hours so they’re open when it says they are online if they’re not going to answer the phone.

I once gave the pharmacist great rating for his professionalism and customer service. I switched to the pharmacy with the assumption I would receive exceptional services in the future. How disappointed I was when I repeatedly encountered rude pharmacy assistances, long lines, medication not filled or out of stock ?

Wow. I didn’t think a pharmacy could be this bad. I wish I had read the reviews before sending my scripts there. Let’s see… the first time I went in I stood there for a half and hour without things acknowledging me… the phones keep ringing and they walk around like it’s background music. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! I had a very important question about my medication and just couldn’t get through. Call however many times you like, hold for an hour.. they don’t care. I’m transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy right now. What a waste of time. They should be shut down for negligence.

4020 Concord Pike Pharmacy Review: Been trying for days to pick up my prescription but the unannounced closings, leaving early, then closing the next day when they told me the night before they’d be open. I understand the staffing issues right now and don’t fault the employees at all…the CVS management is totally at fault.

Wait times at this pharmacy have gotten ridiculously long. I saw them close the drive thru promptly at 5pm. The workers announced on the intercom that they close at 5pm, but were still trying to get everyone who was in line. They clearly have a shortage of staff. CVS pay your workers a living wage!

1 star for the corporation, not the actual people who work here. The people are helpful, but I’ve been to this location 4 times and 2 of those times they had closed early because of understaffing, so I had to leave and come back another day.This is not the only location having this issue and is clearly because CVS isn’t willing to pay their employees a living wage, so no one wants to risk their health working here. PAY YOUR WORKERS MORE!!!!!

Second time in two weeks the pharmacy is closed because of staff shortages. Oh and dont try and call as everyone else is saying they dont answer the phones. I have a need for an antibiotic and cannot get it. Playing with peoples lives here. I understand everyone is having shortages but this is unacceptable.

Pharmacy is no longer 24 hours and are a week behind in filling prescriptions - failed to fill prescription then closed and did not inform clients. Will not be back. Unfortunately zero stars is not an option.

They never answer their phones!!! And they are not quick with prescriptions. My 2 year had an ear infection, her doctor sent the prescription over and I gave them an hour before picking up and once I got there they claimed they JUST received it. I work at a doctors office and faxes come through quickly so I was disappointed, especially because my 2 year old was really not feeling well. I was also disappointed with not being able to get through by phone because if I could have reached them ahead of time the whole scenario would have been avoided. More than one occasion Ive attempted to call and was on hold for a very long time.

I called to speak to the pharmacy twice today. The first time, I was on hold for 50 minutes and someone answered and hung up on me. The second time I was on hold (I was doing stuff while waiting) for 1 hour and 22 minutes, when I finally gave up and hung up the phone. I dont understand why no one can answer the phone. This is just deplorable customer service.Update - I called this morning right at 8am when they open. I was on hold immediately. I paid for three prescriptions in the CVS app for home delivery. Its been 4 days and they still havent shipped the prescriptions.I guess Im going to get in the car and drive over there. Im sure they will have a problem with refunding the delivery fee.

Id been to this location (for the pharmacy) in prior years without issues, but I echo others recent sentiments that its hit rock-bottom since covid-19.A couple weeks ago our pediatrician sent over a rush prescription of anti-viral for my youngest daughter. I went to CVS about an hour after the doctor visit and was told they had no record of the prescription. What was worse was that the woman at the register didnt seem to care: she told me it wasnt there and then just stared at me as if she wanted me to leave. No offer to keep looking or try and figure out what happened: not really a great start when I was already worried about my kid.I called the pediatrician and they confirmed the rx was sent over and that CVS had it. I checked with the pharmacy again and they (magically!) found it when looking a second time, but told me it would take an hour to fill--and this was with five people working. I waited the hour, checked in again, and only then was told that oops, no, they didnt have enough to fill it after all.I tried calling other CVSes to see if I could just transfer the rx to another location, but none of them ever picked up the phone. (Interestingly, this location never seemed to want to answer their phones either: the entire few hours I was waiting I kept hearing the robotic pharmacy, 3 calls! or pharmacy, 6 calls! repeating ad nauseum. From what I saw, not once did anyone answer the phone.)Ten minutes later someone came back and said they could fill it, but would have to use two different brands (fine). I was told it would take 15 minutes; 45+ minutes later it was finally ready.Fast-forward to yesterday and it turns out they didnt even fill the entire prescription: we ended up being two days short of the medicine--they short-changed us EIGHT DOSES. So late yesterday I had to scramble and luckily was able to get it refilled at a Rite-Aid instead.In short: I dont know when it happened, but the Concord Pike CVS has been become extremely incompetent, uncaring, and outright dangerous. Dont go here if you value your time or your familys well-being.

Awful experience with the Pharmacy today. I phoned in a refill the day before and after the numerous selections required was scheduled for pickup today at 11:00. I arrived at 4:15 pm and was told thered be a 10-15 min wait. My wait and several others was 50-60 min. Each and every customer after me was told 10-15 min. Theres no reasonable excuse, at least none offered.

Horrific pharmacy experience! Refilled my prescription early yesterday and received confirmation that it would be ready for pickup that evening. Arrived this afternoon around 3:50 & the drive thru window was closed. Went inside to a pharmacy line of approximately 10 ppl waiting and 4 ppl working at the pharmacy, all with no real sense of urgency. The 1 woman retrieving the prescriptions was literally moving at a snails pace. I finally get up there and am told my prescription isnt ready; itll be 30 minutes. Huh? It was supposed to be ready yesterday. So many others told the same thing, FYI. I figured, I dont wanna come back here tomorrow and wait who knows how long in a ridiculous line again. Ok... So I wait. And wait, and wait, and wait. An hour and a half later Im still waiting and being ignored. I begin to wonder if Im supposed to get back in the line and wait again to find out if its ready yet. The 2nd line of people moves though & I ask the woman how much longer its going to take. She moseys around again and finally finds my prescription. No apology for the wait, no thank you for being patient, nothing. What a cluster!

Very organized store. Pharmacist extremely helpful. Their COVID 19 vaccination tool for appointment scheduling is very user friendly; one quickly knows where appointments are available. Their vaccination process was organized, efficient and on time. Thank you CVS.

Just came from MedExpress Urgent Care and they sent flu rx to this location-Upon arrival we sat in Drivethru with no acknowledgement. I dragged myself inside and was told it would be 2 hours!!! I asked if there we any other 24 locations that could fill it tonight. They at least put it on hold so I could call the CVS in Brookhaven. The nice lady said she’d have it ready by the time we drove the 10 mi to get there!

I worked next door on overnight. I love the workers but the three years that I worked there that CVS has been robbed more times then I can count. Its nice its 24hrs but its not worth them being robbed over and over. Thet need to close on overnight.
