This is an older store. Staff seems very friend but store is always dirty looking. Floors are nasty, store is cluttered, and just looks old. Really I think this seems like most family dollars. Really wish they would take better care of there stores. Who wants to buy food out of that kind of store.

My first time at a Family Dollar, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I had always assumed they were a literal dollar store, like Dollar Tree, but was happy to find it was more like Dollar General - a discount convenience store with a bit of everything, from food to household items, hygiene to toys, even small pieces of furniture. I found most items reasonably priced, if not a bit cheaper than competitors, with clean isles and well stocked shelves. Employees were friendly & helpful.

IT WAS NICE, MY TRIP WAS GREAT & I LOVE THE CASHIER, SHES A VERY NICE PERSON, YES SHE IS, I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK TO THAT STORE!!!❤✌😇😎😘✌🤩❤🥰!!!

I will not return. You lady working was not wearing a mask. She cough on her hand, after touching a computer; helping a new employee. She never sanitizer or washed her hands before checking me out. Disgusting.

There are still a lot of items out of stock but the employees here are always friendly and helpful

Its okay. Store is usually a bit messy but staff are friendly and they usually have what Im looking for.

First, remember that Family Dollar isnt a dollar store. They do have deals if you use coupons sometimes but it seems from other reviews and online prices that you get better values at the bigger stores and the products are newer and not out of date. The staff is nice and helpful here and the parking lot is easy to access and always has ample space. Its easy to see from the road and handicap accessible.

Karen is the sweetest customer service rep Ive ever met. Shes so kind and always knows how to brighten anyones day. Definitely the nicest person Ive ever met at a retail store.

I really like the people that work here. They actually talk to you with some respect. A little hard to get out of the parking lot due to traffic on Shipyard Blvd. But, well worth my trip

I love Family Dollar. They have good prices on stuff you need on a daily basis.

Had to stop in to purchase a new set of clothes for my grandson after leaving Carolina Beach. He got totally soaked in the incoming waves after steering clear of them in the beginning.

The cashier is very nice and fast when helping customers. The young lady working knows her job and good with all the customers.

Very nice people. Not everything is a dollar and its cheaper than normal. I mean the products and things in the store are cheaply made. The prices are ok but not to die for.

They have everything you need but not much is a dollar. I prefer Dollar Tree.

This store has too much merchandise sitting around on the floor. It is very hard for a person with a wheel chair to get around inside the store.

The family Dollar on shipyard is very clean the bathroom is clean and great service. A young lady by the name of Oniaja Holland assisted me she was a joy!!
