Horrible customer service. I brought my wedding/engagement ring (that I purchased elsewhere) here to be rerounded. Two days after I got it back, my wedding band snapped and one of the diamonds was loose. So I took it back. Days after getting it back this time, it was misshapen again. I took my ring there a total of four times and they had it for about two weeks each time. The last time I took it, the manager told me they would call me to discuss some options for how to fix it. No one called. A week after I dropped it off, I went in to speak with someone and I was again told someone would call- they never did. No one ever apologized or went out of their way to help. In fact, I was treated like I was the issue. I have had this ring for four years and the real issues only began once I brought it here. When I picked it up this time, the sales person Alison was very curt. She brought the ring out to my car because my baby had fallen asleep on the way over and acted like it was a huge inconvenience. I will never enter this store or do any business with Reeds again.

Eleana is a patient and knowledgeable sales person. She listens intently and makes selections accordingly. She quickly responds to questions and presents a variety of options. I will shop at Reeds again because of Eleana. She is such an asset to Reeds.

I’m not sure if I can accurately convey in a review how wonderful the staff and owners of Reeds jewelry at Mayfair do their job!! It’s obvious they care about their customers as more than just customers. The manager Melissa is just, simply put awesome!! She helped me to replace a ring I had lost many years ago that meant more to me than I can express! She took the time to make sure we got the design just perfect. She accurately predicted how long it would take to get the piece made and went above and beyond to press the manufacturer to get it done before they closed for two weeks for the July 4th holiday as she knew how much it meant to me! My family will always use Reeds and more specifically MELISSA for all our jewelry needs. Melissa has made my year!! Alan and Rose you definitely have found a gem in her!! Bought matching His and hers Tag watches here for our anniversary, a few years later needed a link repair and they did it with no questions asked, made it simple and easy. Was very happy with our intial purchase and am very happy with their repair service. We buy the majority of our jewelry here, even had them do a custom peice for us. Always great service.

I had an amazing experience picking up a new Rolex Datejust 41 from Reeds! Brady and Melissa did an excellent job with the delivery. I had been on the hunt for the perfect watch for a few months and Brady did a great job keeping me in the loop. Once this watch came along, I knew it was the one. They walked me through the features, sized the watch, and made the transaction easy. I look forward to doing more business with Reeds!
Today my husband purchased his first Rolex. Melissa initially helped him pick out the watch. She was informative about the available watches and was extremely helpful. We came back the next day and Beau finalized the purchase. Not only was he super nice, he answered any question my husband had. Yesterday Reeds refused to accept a watch which I had purchased from them for repairs. Ive had the watch repaired before through this Reeds store without issue. When pressed for reasoning, the gentleman first explained they had no room to store the watch. Later, he switch explanations saying they had no staff to repair the watch. The store was not busy and I could see jewelers in their service area. And I added I was not expecting the watch back anytime soon, but only wanted to begin the process. Ive purchased many nice pieces of jewelry over the years from that store through Robin and earlier Cindy. The gentleman would not even look up my name to review purchase history. I was utterly disappointed because Ive never hesitated to purchase in person from companies that also service their product. I want to support that kind of company. Reeds lost a customer yesterday.
My local Reeds does not sell Omega so I checked with a couple of Jewelers in Raleigh, NC and this Reeds in Wilmington. Robin was the consummate professional from my first phone call to the time we walked out of the store with my new Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch. The other stores were closer but Robin’s service was worth the extra miles!
Completely rude and condescending attitudes from all the employees here. Bought a ring, purchased their $170 warranty and they refused to resize the ring after they messed up the sizing. Customer service was rude and unapologetic after $1k plus purchase on a ring. Returned. And refuse to do business with them in the future. Do not bother with these people. Seems like they only will care if you are spending $40k+ on a Rolex.
I can not say enough about the expertise and courtesy shown by this location and especially Jo Beth who took all the time I needed to pick out the perfect birthday and Valentines day gifts. All of the staff was very pleasant and made sure I was greeted and felt comfortable as well as found anything I needed. Jo Beth did a great job helping me understand my options for obtaining the Reeds credit card so I was able to sign up and save earn some extra rewards. Always have a good experience at Reeds in Mayfair but Brittany L. who helped me to choose an engagement setting for my center stone was over the top amazing. I had been looking for a different setting for YEARS and could never decide on anything. Brittany was so patient in helping me make a decision. She educated me along the way, as well. I never felt rushed or pressured to do anything. I just picked up my ring yesterday and it FAR exceeds my expectations. Cannot say enough good things about my experience. Brittany is the best! (everyone else was great, too, including Jo-Beth who helped, as well!)
Went to this Reeds location to have my engagement ring sized. One of the sales associates took my ring and immediately tested it with the diamond tester they had which read the ring as not a real diamond. She then proceeded to tell my fiance and I that the ring was not a diamond. We were obviously shocked and tried to explain that the ring had come with a GIA certification - she was extremely rude and replied I dont care what paper they gave you, its not reading as a diamond. We left completely distraught and decided to go to another jewelry store to double check before we confronted our seller. We went to Perrys Emporium and told them the situation. They immediately took us back to one of the owners who looked at the stone and reassured us that the ring WAS in fact a diamond due to its specific characteristics and we had nothing to worry about. He then proceeded to look at the diamond under the microscope, find the GIA certification number and even pull up the diamond on the GIA website to make us even more comfortable. Lastly we asked the owner to please check the stone with their diamond tester as well as we were so upset from the other place. He checked it for our piece of mind and their tester read the stone as a diamond. Will NEVER come back to Reeds - please go to Perrys as they actually engage their customers and help you.

Our last fantastic experience was yet another example; a re-do of my engagement ring for our 10 year anniversary. Brittany was fantastic! She really took the time to understand what i wanted and when she felt strongly she knew the ring for me she was right!!! i love my ring. i love the other jewelry she has sold my husband and she feels more like a friend than a salesperson. Went to go buy some necklaces and bracelets for my wife and daughter but the rude person at the door would not let me in because I have a medical condition to where I cannot wear a mask as much as I wish I could. She told me that my business would not be accepted here and I must leave.

Went in for a Rolex watch repair - sales lady walked by me 2 times and didn’t acknowledge me. Another couple came in and she ran to help them. This place will NEVER get my business. ZERO customer service.
Went in to buy a ring, were told someone would be right with us. We had about half an hour before we had to leave to be at another commitment. After 20 minutes someone approached us, told us he wasn’t trained to show wedding bands and that he would get someone else to help, we told him the time crunch. 6 minutes later he was helping someone and the person who was supposed to help us was helping someone who walked in after us. Never mind that was the 2nd or 3rd person who was helped who walked in after we did. Probably will now look elsewhere for wedding bands.

Went in there for a ring exchange and had some issues because the ring was purchased from a pandora boutique and not a reeds. Wasn’t helped the first time but this time was helped by bailey and was SUPER helpful. If you go in for anything ask for bailey she’s the nicest and most helpful person in there and she’ll always put you first.

The Reeds Jewelers store in Mayfaire is always a great experience every time I go there. The staff is wonderful and they are always great help when it comes to finding the right piece of jewelry for me or as a gift to someone else. There is also a very nice gentleman in there that helps me every time and his name is Bryan. He is so kind and generous and I really appreciate everything he does for me when I am there. This was so very disappointing.I drove from an hour away to look at Rolex watches of which going to purchase! Not a light decision I must say. After waiting at the counter for over an hour looking ....NOT one Ill be with you in one moment or can I get someone to help you! I guess I was judged by the book. I almost laid 1 down cash to see it that got some attention! Its really sad that a company that I thought was so tasteful could represent themselves in such a tasteless disappointing manner! If you have to? drive farther, do yourself a favor and skip this place!Its like waiting in line to meet your favorite rock star. Only to be spit on as he leaves the concert hall! So I recently bought my Tag Heuer in for a new battery. I was told that the process would take a couple of weeks and the costs would be $120. I questioned the price and the floor manager then explained the process to me to justify the costs. After hearing her reasons, I decided to allow them the repair and clean my watch for the charge of $120. After two weeks I received a call informing me the watch was ready. Much to my surprise, when I went in to pick the watch up, the enamel was rubbed off during the cleaning process. I asked why this was so and the response was that the watch had been cleaned. My response was ok but why wasn’t the enamel replaced? The answer I received was “oh, your watch came in damaged and this is the way it is”. NOT a true statement. My watch was and is like new and my response was that if it was damaged in anyway, then why wasn’t that discussed or marked on my receipt?. So, of course, I refused the watch as I was visibly irritated at the floor managers response. I was told that they would put a rush on it. So, another two weeks pass and I get another call telling me my watch was now finished. So now, over four weeks have passed and I finally got my watch back . The point of my review is that although everything in the end came out ok but, the total disrespect of the floor manager to me, in my opinion was unnecessary, unwarranted, and not customer friendly. I was made to feel like I was wrong because I would not accept my watch in the poor condition the first time and she remarked that I brought in a damaged watch. This to me is a prime example of “The Peter Principle” where yes she has risen to true level of incompetency where she truly is in above her head. Imagine a manager basically calling me a liar...WOW.

Jessica and another sales associate, a fellow educator, assisted my husband and I last night (1/13/18) . They greeted us with a smile and immediately asked if they could help us as we approached the Pandora section of the store. They worked as a great team to help me find a ring and earrings, plus worked with my husband to surprise me with another pair of earrings without me even realizing it! This was our third time shopping at Reeds at Mayfaire and as always, was a good experience.

The sales associates are in their own little world and dont care about quality & customer service. Sold my fiancé my ring missing a stone. The manager did take care of everything and made sure it was fixed quickly. Manager is great, ring is gorgeous, only downfall is that the associates are not the best!

I will NEVER spend $ here again! I was given a necklace, wore it twice and it broke. So I took it in for repair. Had some health issues & totally forgot about it. Ran into my slip where I had dropped it off and called. I was told they no longer have it. It has been too long and therefore they scrap metal it. RIIIIGGGHHHTTTT. Im supposed to believe you didnt fix that necklace and resell it!? Never again. Lesson learned.

Picked out a beautiful ring for Christmas. They sized it and had it ready in time to have it under the tree.also took my wedding rings to be fixed, everything was promptly repaired, done when promised, and looked like new when I picked it up.

The manager saw us waiting for help and sent Cindy over to serve us. We were interested in Pandora charms. I asked to see some of them and Cindy handed me a pamphlet and said pick one out and shell see if she has it. I asked to see some of the cases and she said there are too many and again stated to look at the booklet. The Reeds store in the mall asks to tell them about the person you are buying the charms for. They are engaging and helpful. Cindy at Mayfaire was useless, inattentive and certainly NOT helpful.

I dropped off a necklace with a medal as it needed a jump ring. I was told that the medal had to be built up for jump ring as it was thinning. I went to pick up a day after the said pick up date (I never received a phone call). Necklace wasnt ready. It was still back with repairs. I had to wait a bit. They must have thrown on the ring at that point. It looks as thin as it was when I dropped it off, yet I was charged as though it was built up. All the while my clerk was talking to another clerk about his wild $2000 trip to NYC. The other clerk was complaining about her headache and how she didnt want to be there. My advice, go to Kingoffs!

Terrible experience just now! Wife went into store to purchase a necklace, I told her to buy whatever you want honey, they wouldnt wait on her. She asked to see a necklace and the clerk said she diidnt have a key. She was dressed beach casual, jeans, baseball cap but wearing her chanel watch. They apparently dont know you should never judge a book by its cover. The manager or owner finally came over and asked if she had been helped and my wife told her no. The manager asked that same clerk to borrow her key to show her a necklace and she just handed it her. She had lied to my wife! For this reason we will not buy a single piece of jewelry from this store, ever.

I started buying all my jewelry on my 18th birthday which was over 35 years ago from Mr. Zimmer at the downtown store on Front St. There is no other retail jewelry store in Wilmington to shop for jewelry other than Reeds in my opinion.

Not only does this store not have a direct number but corporate customer service couldnt even tell me if the store was up back and running after Florence. The guy from customer service told me that he wasnt sure why they dont have a direct number but advised me to call the store next to them and ask them if theyre open. Spectrum seriously get your ducks in a row. You dont know how hard it is to keep me from cussing up a storm right now.
