Whole Foods of course is expensive. That is just a given. They can charge more given their popularity and the image.I have yet to have a negative experience with any staff. They are friendly, helpful, and always ask how you are.Even at checkout they strike up small conversation. I drive an hour and a half, one, because there is only a whole foods in that distance and two, I always go to the same one because of their professionalism and kind demeanor.

I knew that very good people work in the whole foods market around the country and Today I was convinced of this once again. Lady from the cake department, her name is Stella, she was just so kind to me and helped me out with cakes for my daughters birthday. She helped me a lot. Thank you so much

Friendly cashiers and the stockers on the floor kinda in their own world... I love how there’s price ranges for the items on the shelves so there’s a variety of options according to budget... kinda disappointed in the variety and quality of the fresh produce...limited specials on meat but def great prices and quality...

This is an OK Whole Foods. I wish they would stop putting garlic all over the vegetables at the salad bar they make it hard for vegans because they’re extremely repetitive about everything they serve and then they put burnt garlic or garlic on the vegetables which makes me sick. I guess they think vegetables are boring but it’s really delicious if you stop saturating all the vegetables in oil and bacon revolting and just let them be clean..and please consider self check out soon your lines are ridiculously long

This used to be my go-to place for all of my grocery shopping. But ever since Amazon took over and they jumped on that gimmicks bandwagon with special customers that paya Prime fee to get a discount on a few items, while ordinary mortals get to pay their inflated prices to make up for it, I only go there when Im in a hurry, as they happen to be the closest. But, given the choice, I much prefer the integrity and quality organic products of Tidal Creek Coop.

Great store to shop for local and organic products. They have a nice selection of cooked main dishes for you to load up on if you are in a hurry and cannot cook dinner. Nice selection of fresh fish for the fish monger to process for you. Dont forget to use your Amazon Prime membership to get discounts.

I am forever a fan of Whole Foods! I thought that on November 19 that I had ordered a Thanksgiving meal for 4 for pick up between 3 pm and 4 pm on November 25 at Whole Foods in Wilmington. Mom was grateful that she would not have to cook a Thanksgiving meal. When I went to pick up the order today, they had no record of my order. I was obviously in a panic. Despite my failure to properly place my order online, the fantastic staff of Whole Foods put together my order at the last minute. I dont know how they did it, but they did it! If you are ever near a Whole Foods, please give them your business!

This is a small Whole Foods Market yet it has great employees and more Kombucha brands including brew doctor (most flavors) and a great hot food and sandwiches. This whole food is close to and on the way to the beach from downtown and right next door from Crepes and more. I recommend you stop on the way to Wrightsville for water, kombucha, chips, sandwiches and or cold or hot deli items.

The deli is over priced.One piece of chicken and two salad side for $10.

I love shopping here. The variety of health, vegan and foods are exceptional. A great experience for the most part except these days they are constantly out of my favorite items.

Friendly workers, have had good experiences there when I went in person. However, got food delivered via my Amazon Prime membership and all my produce was old. Some of it (the avocados) were actually too ripe to even eat!

Such an amazing place especially if you are an amazon prime member! They have such great deals on the best and freshest food. Oh and the hot food bar is to die for! Not only do they have lunch and dinner but they have breakfast as well. The sushi chef does great work and everything is fresh to order. The deli has the most delicious salads and sides anything you could want! Fresh fresh fresh thats all I can say. They even have a sit down area to eat your hot bar food which I have eaten at many times. It can be a little expansive but it is worth paying a little extra for the quality of food you are getting!

Whole Foods not only has wonderful healthy products, but an environment that satisfies the soul. I really enjoy their salad bar and hot food bar as well. Their customer service is outstanding. And if they could bottle up the way Whole Foods smells, I would buy all of their candles! Feel like getting the extra discount being a prime remember as well.

I ordered from Amazon and my order got cancelled for no reason. Sharon, the shipping manager at this Whole Foods, went above and beyond even though it was not an issue on their end! She is a literal angel! Seriously, so happy with my Whole Foods experience!

The produce that I get at Whole Foods is the best in the area, aside from a farmers market or food stand. I can always count on my spinach and other greens being fresh! I also love so many other things that I only buy here bc they are always in stock, and they are the best around.

I wish we had one in Myrtle Beach but I dont ever mind the drive to get all the yummies!!! And that alkaline water refill station!!!! 🤯

Wedding Cake: I chose Whole Foods to make our 2 wedding cakes. Dana was fantastic to work with! I had a visual idea of what I wanted and she completely brought it to life. I went in for the tasting while my fiance was out of town and she really helped give me guidance, match flavors and even gave me extra samples to take home for my fiance to try as well! We received many compliments from our guests about the cakes and how well they turned out.....fantastic price, value and experience!

Skip the 12 Cheese of Christmas promo. 2nd holiday season in a row when a specific cheese was said to be greatly anticipated cheese by their cheese monger, but it somehow sells out before 10am the day it goes on sale. With the lack of traffic in the parking lot I find it hard to believe there were enough customers to sell out of a promotional product so early. Its more probable employees were hoarding the cheese for themselves. Exact same thing happened last holiday season on an anticipated cheese.

The people, first, the selection of items, the customer service... Didnt like something, you dont pay. Couldnt find something, theyll help you and even GIVE you a substitute to keep you happy. Did they make a mistake at the checkout (or anywhere), free! Breakfast hot bar....the best, we were in Charleston recently and while the store was bigger and offers things Wilmington doesnt....we didnt eat our much anticipated first meal of the day there, because it was no where near the breakfast offered consistently in Wilmington (and lunch/dinner). Their care for the planet whether its people, plants or animals..... So many reasons we love these guys. They are better than family! Thank you Whole Foods Wilmington. As for the prices... You get what you pay for, and what you think you deserve... I deserve every bit of Whole Foods, I am soooo worth it. How do you treat yourself?

A big thank you to Shannon! Today was a busy day as the employees seemed to be stocking up for Thanksgiving. There were cart-traffic jams all over the place. That said, it is right before a holiday and Ive been here at least three times before and have never seen so many people at once! Anyway, I was standing in aisle looking lost as I was trying to gather ingredients for a few recipes. While she was stocking, Shannon stopped and asked if she might be of any assistance. I told her yes and what I was looking for and it so happened that there was another woman standing nearby who was looking for the same thing and hadnt said anything either! We were led directly to where we needed to go and Shannon even looked up some of the ingredients I was looking for to compare and contrast the effects they would have in my pies. Above and beyond expectation. Ive always had a pleasant experience at this place with all working there and I finally had to leave a review after the service today. I imagine its a stressful environment for grocery stores around the holidays but I never felt any of that coming off of any employees despite everyone else running around. Ill be coming back :) Thank you!

Mostly like WF... stay away from the prepared foods ($$$$$). Their store brand is as good as the name ones and way less expensive. Shop smart and it doesnt need to be whole paycheck. They do have a great selection of stuff we use that can be hard to find elsewhere. The staff is generally helpful, but I do think their service has not been as good since the Amazon buyout.

Whole foods home delivery thought these were appropriate...not sure what to do when life gives you lemons like this except write it off as a place NOT to order groceries from. I used to frequent the hot food bar at lunchtime often (once a week at min) but the selection of mushy mac and cheese 4 different ways, chicken wings cremated to the point of no meat left, and many dishes which should be warm to hot are room temp...just not worth the stop for lunch. 1 person working the Express checkout lines at during lunch rush at 1pm is unacceptable. WHM can do better.

My girlfriends and I have ALL of our cakes made here for baby showers, wedding showers, parties, and I am having my wedding cake made here. We are always so impressed by the detail, and TASTE of these cakes every single time, especially when matching an invitation for the occasion. I always recommend Whole Foods Bakery! All of the staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Not a regular shopper here but they always have the hard to find ingredients when we try new recipes. Prices are usually a bit higher than other grocery stores.

Food bar was very poor. It was dry, over cooked, old, cold, and just not worth it. In Austin its hot, fresh, and perhaps a tad bland at times--but its at least worth the money, and not on the edge of simply tossing it or asking for a refund.For instance the fish from the hot food bar was like grit as it was totally overcooked and seasoned to oblivion. Moreover, the fried chicken was completely nuked in the fryer, was hard, and sat.In other premises I figured Id try a chicken Samosa--it was cold, and just mushy.The pulled pork was good and the turkey pot pie was reasonable.For nostalgias sake I purchased a Chocolate Croissant--it was a tad past lunch but it was cold, and I cant judge as theres just not enough traffic to move their pastries perhaps at that time...In the end I will never go back to this location and as a Prime member who uses Amazon as a pivotal part of my work & personal purchases--I felt this is not at all representative of what Amazons services and products should be like.If I had the forethought I would have asked for a refund and complained--as I do wish it was decent/could improve, and then Id had gotten my money back.On the upside the groceries seemed sound--but this review is focused on the food, and I feel that theres many better places to go even if one is relegated to a fast food joint about this venue.My advice is to offer less variety and do what you offer correctly.

This is a place to visit if youre vacationing and you dont have one near your house. They have several food bars and organic food as well. After you pay for your stuff, you can sit at one of their tables or enjoy the food you bought at your own leisure. They have restrooms for the public, and yes the urinal is waterless, which is pretty cool

We love this location and eat at the hot bar 1-3 times per week just about every week. If you time it just right you can have hot food and a place to sit. They make the most amazing mac n cheese!The staff is fairly nice too.This place has some of the most delicious fresh fruit that you can buy- just wish it wasnt so high priced. But I do love that kids get a piece of fresh fruit free at each visit. My little girl looks forward to this.I like this location a lot and Ive been to several WF stores that I didnt like nearly as much!
