This is the worst fettuccine pasta Iโve ever had first the fettuccine pasta was $15 by it self then another $6 dollars to add chicken like why isnโt the chicken already included in the price .. then while waiting the lady tells me and oh yea the card machine charges a extra .73 cents why not tell me before placing order over phone? on top of the 21 dollars I spent on this .. mine you the picture you see I had to add my own seasoning and then the chicken was so cheap omg never again bland and dry ๐คฎ๐คข
It was our first time dinning there. The food was very good. Homemade italian dishes. The lemon coconut cake was delicious. My only recommendation would be to offer non cash payments (they only accept cash) as this will help boost business since most people do not carry cash anymore. Our server was very attentive and welcoming as well.
Great homemade Italian food. Meals were so delicious and our waitress was friendly and efficient. Their homemade pasta is awesome.
Family owned establishment offering classic Italian dishes perfectly prepared with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere.
Their food was delicious and our server was very nice, helpful and attentive- no need to say more!!
This is a wonderful old school gem of a restaurant. A true family owned neighborhood local place thatโs been in business 36 yrs! The hot peppers and fried smelts are a must! Go there!
Great family atmosphere. Love the smelts and chicken parm.
So it was my โfirst time everโ going to this restaurant (it was actually for takeout) and I must say the food was amazing. some of the best if not the best pasta Iโve had in Delaware. I highly recommend trying this place out, And will definitely be going back for a full dine-in experience.
Itโs been a rough week for my family. We lost my mother-in-law. My wifeโs parents have been coming to Attilioโs for many many years. We decided to order some take out for the whole family, raviolis and other items. I drove my father-in-law there. When we arrived Attilio came out from the kitchen and personally greeted us and hugged my father-in-law as he heard the news earlier. He wouldnโt let us pay for a thing. Just goes to show you what kind of people they are. Food was delicious as always. It was a kind gesture that myself and our family will never forget.
Absolutely delicious food! Family run restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. Monte and his mother Carla were so welcoming. The hot peppers were something Id never had before and like a delicious hot pepper chip. My lady had the featured crab ravioli and was in love with it. I had the veal parmigiana and my God, so delicious. Ive never said spaghetti noodles were good, but their spaghetti noodles house made were very excellent. I enjoyed the heck out of this place. I also love that they tell you if certain menu items are completely house made or not. Great tomato sauce also!
Havent been able to dine here due to COVID. Tonight I just had to get some homemade Italian food. The stuffed shells were excellent. They only had one waiter, and he was hustling. Even with just the one waiter, the service was very good. The chopped antipasto was fresh and to die for. I had a cannoli for dessert and WOW! It was probably the best I have ever eaten. 3 of us ate and 2 had dessert for under $100. Not including tip of course. On a date, or with family. This is a great place to have a great meal in a warm atmosphere.
Authentic Italian food! Whats there not to love. Best homemade Italian food in Delaware.
The food was delicious! I really enjoyed it! Very good! I will definitely return!
Our Families favorite Italian Restaurant. Wouldnt go anywhere else!
The next best food than my mothers! Only place to get authentic, delicious, homemade Italian food. Not only is the food outstanding but the service is impeccable and the atmosphere makes me feel at home like Im sitting at my own dinner table. The ONLY place to go for Italian food
Great old style red gravy Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff and the food is like grandma makes. Absolutely loved the Hot Peppers appetizer because I like spicy food. We also had wedding soup, ravioli and chicken parmigiana which were all delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The prices are NOT expensive. Great value for great food. We will be back often.
Fantastic food, excellent service. This is eating at home with the family. The fried pepper skins are an absolute MUST!
Fabulous, as always. If youve never gone, just go. Or get take out. They send you home with bread, butter, parm cheese. So so delicious. Just go!
Great Italian food.
The best Italian Resturant in Wilmington, hands down. You wont find a better meal, just make sure you bring cash.
Bought some takeout from this spot. I got a chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Was pretty dang good. And not too expensive either. The last on the phone informed me. About their famous hot peppers. Almost sprung for them but didnt. Walked in to pick the food up. DONT FORGET ITS CASH ONLY. Good food for a good price. Glad to see the small businesses still open during all of this
ITS VERY SIMPLE THIS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN WILMINGTON!!!!
I really enjoyed the food we had here. It was very tasty. Also they staff is very warm and welcoming. Its a nice quiet place for lunch or even a nice intimate dinner. Stop by if you get a chance.
Service was slow.
Omg every time we go here never disappointed, they give the right proportions for whatever you order. We really love this place......
Visited Attilio take out last week and the weekend before. Same delicious food and was glad to see Monte again at the restaurant.
Attilios has been around forever...food is good Italian food but not overly fancy...just like their decor...
Great people, great restaurant. Highly recommended!
This was my first time at Attilio.Very small and comfortable. Had it not been during the covid pandemic, I am to understand its packed a LOT tighter. Clearly, that says something about the place. I had the broccoli rabe appetizer and the lasagne special. Both were pretty much what I expected, neither made you say thats the best thing Ive ever had but, both were definitely good enough for me to get a second time. The only thing I wish I had known before hand, CASH ONLY.ill definitely be prepared next time.Would definitely try again.
This was my first visit to Ristorante Attilio. I had been passing through and had heard about this place through a friend. I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender, Mike, was extremely helpful upon learning they this was my first visit. He gave me a brief history of the place and told me a few generalities of the menu. Because I wasnt terribly hungry though, I decided on just a bowl of their Italian wedding soup. It was the perfect serving temperature and tasted amazing! I didnt want to leave without be able to take a sample of one of their homemade pasta dishes. So, I ordered gnocchi and meatball to-go. A server, Ryan, with whom I had started a conversation with earlier almost instantly recognized that a gnocchi dish would not last, nor reheat well, after my 2-hour trek home. Therefore she suggested I change it to a ravioli and meatball dish instead. She nailed it! I saved some for my wife and daughter who now want to travel 2 hours just to get some more!
Great Meal Love the pasta
Friendly red gravy neighborhood establishment. Very friendly staff. The long peppers are a must have.Pasta is freshly made and the ravioli are tender, fluffy pillows filled with spinach when I visited. I recommend the smelts to bring back memories of Christmas Eve past. Pair with Chianti for a home made family sunday dinner experience.
The food is fresh, simple, homemade, and delicious. I love the greens over spaghetti. Its a tiny place and they are usually busy. The service isnt great but the food is worth it.
Neat and clean place with friendly people working overhere. An excellent experience I have had this place. Hats off to their customer services and customer satisfaction. Lovely staff and authentic and delicious food! Very well done guys.
I visited here with my husband for dinner. such a amazing services gave to us. wonderful and knowledgeable staff. great atmosphere. food was yummy. we were highly impressed. everything managed with perfect way. thanks guys provide us wonderful food quality.
The food was good authentic Italian. The restaurant is small, so get there early for dinner. Try the hot and sweet peppers, they were great. The lasagna was a solid choice for dinner. There is street parking. They have a full bar.
I make sure to stop here everytime Im in the area. Everything is fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The staff are kind and clearly care dearly about the product they put out and customer satisfaction. Will be back time and time again.
Best Italian in Delaware.
NOTICE: Payment is cash only!A small Italian restaurant which makes fresh pasta in-house, and uses the finest quality cheese for its ravioli. Every bite was a trip back to the wonderful Italian food my great grandmother used to make. The sauce was simply addictive. At peak business hours you may have to wait a half hour.
Excellent food Excellent prices
The food was delicious! the restaurant is cute on the inside, it was a wonderful environment. but the waitress, lisa, was very rude the entire time. we couldnโt believe how arrogant she was.
Great homemade food and fast courteous service. Highly recommend.
Delicious homemade food. Quality ingredients and amazing specials! Get on the list!
I had wonderful time here with my family and all of us enjoyed our food and time here! Delicious healthy food and friendly environment, cool place!
One of my favs
Excellent mom and pop sit down Italian restaurant in the heart of Wilmington. Good selection of Italian fares and wines, with the marinara sauce being on point. The family are the primary employees here and do a good job, but every so often I feel as though they could use some more help. This is my go-to place for well-done, down-to-Earth Italian.
Always a great meal
Nicest guys ever, brought our whole office lunch today and the food was amazing. Hopefully I can come in soon !
Came here on Christmas Eve with my younger brother since we live just around the corner. Absolutely fantastic. The only flaw with the visit was it took about 10 minutes for our server to come take our food order after bringing our drinks, but this was immediately made up for with how fast our food was brought to us, something like 3 minutes. If it was this great on a holiday, I can only imagine it being better the rest of the year.
Good food
Food is great, especially the fried Calamara and smelts. Atmosphere is just family oriented. Always a smile from management to staff.
Restaurant purgatory; was neither great or poor. Service was typical of a neighborhood Italian joint. You wonโt regret a meal here but might get fomo.
My wife and I have been dining here for about 15 yrs now, have celebrated most of my birthdays at attilios since my 50th and will probably spend my 65th one there in june !
Good food and service.
My favorite italian restaurant in Delaware. The pasta is fresh and incredible. The greens are delicious. The smelts and hot peppers are our favorite appetizers! Come here often and get delivery often. We love you Attilios!
Very nice neighborhood atmosphere. Homemade pasta and the best lasagna. Reasonable prices.
Nice hidden gem... Courteous wait staff, delicious food
We always love dining at Attilioโs. My parents who are both 95, always ask to come here. Today, our server Leesa was attentive and patient with them and made sure that everyone was happy. The veal spiazzato is my dadโs favorite because it reminds him of back home in South Philly.
A hidden gem for Italian food in Wilmington. This all home-made everything restaurant offers authentic Italian food with a warm, friendly staff for decent prices. Typically does not accept reservations so be prepared for a bit of a wait.
Smells, handmade ravioli, greens, olive oil, garlic...chianti! Who could ask for more? This wonderful restaurant has been my happy place for over 3 decades. THE BEST!!
The BEST homemade Italian food in town! The staff are always friendly. The atmosphere of old school italian with paneling on the wall makes it a feel like home place. We frequent as often as we can.
Affordable, authentic classic spot. Could go here every week.
Home cooked food, ready quickly in a setting like Grandmas downstairs kitchen used to be. Friendly staff and lots of choices. Try it, youll love it! And dont forget the long hots!
When I was living in Newark I would eat at Attilios almost every friday and Saturday for dinner. It was some of the best food in Wilmington DE. Fried peppers were excellent
Good food, reasonable, dated but clean. CASH only is the biggest drawback.
A very warm place to go and get great food.
Its awesome home made pasta. Very friendly people. Great service
Food was wonderful, but my server Lisa was terrible, extremely rude and not helpful at all. the place is very homey but the server was definetly lacking in professionalism
Loved the atmosphere-- old school Italian. Reminded me of my grandparents home. Food was alright; pasta is homemade.
Great raviolis and peppers. Always a fun time with our friends. Cash only!
Overall great. I like the food but a little pricey. But still it was great. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and would bring them over again for dining in.
Place is off the charts....food is absolutely delicious
Great old school Italian place. Reasonable prices excellent food.
Another wonderful meal at Attilios. Large portion, reasonably priced and great food. Best Italian food in the area!
Food is chill. i ordered the mozz sticks and it slapped cheeks. they were very accommodating. we called ahead and got complementary bread sticks to go. i was a penny short of the price but they let it slide. a cornucopia of varying italian food seasoned our day with happiness and unsporting brow. did u know i seek the pale forest in a pale night. give us trust in god once again seรฑor attilio, i long for the forgeting of life before your humble presence. lisa.
A Delaware institution. Cash only. Old school. Dont change a thing - ever. And thats why generationS treat this with reverence.
Our go to... Service is always great and friendly! Food is absolutely perfect!!
Only Italian ristorante on the east coast that has Spumoni! Filet tips were tremendous an the waitress was outstanding.
My favorite Italian/take out in Wilmington. Been going there forever and will continue to do so!
Food wasnt as expected. Staff was very helpful.
My family and I have been coming here for 20 years or more. A true gem in Deleware or anywhere for that matter.
We love the food & the atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars but was very disappointed yesterday when I found out our favorite server Lisa was no longer there. She waited on us most Sunday nights for YEARS! Bummer!
Always great food!! Never had a bad meal. Our favorite restaurant!+
Disappointing meal. I went with my favorite, spaghetti and meatballs. Wife went with lasagna. The home made noodles were a lot more al dente than I like. The sauce was bland and lacked flavor. The meatballs lacked seasoning as well. It wasnt terrible but it also wasnt something Ill ever come back for. My wife was similarly disappointed with her lasagna. If you decide to visit, keep in mind they are CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM onsite. Just be aware its speed is glacial at best.
Homemade Spinach Lasagna was superb! Waitress was excellent!
Nice family restaurant. Great meatballs...just like mom makes.
Great food very nice people great prices
No better Ravioli in the world. Ive dubbed Attilios Ravioli City!!
I love Attilios, make sure you try the roasted Peppers and Smelts as side dishes when youre there. I normally get the Veal Spizzato over Spaghetti or Cheese Ravioli. Check out the daily Specials & Soups on the Blackboard when you first walk in on the wall at the end of the bar. Old time, original Italian food the way your Italian grandmother made it. The Best !! Ciao, Ray Richardson
Family atmosphere, delicious food & the service is excellent! Closes by 9 on the weekdays though.
Food is very good. Service is courteous. Prices are a little high.
Great friendly staff, great prices, good food
Excellent food, great old fashioned atmosphere.
Have been going to attilios for years, this was the first time leesa was not our server. Not the same without her, probably start going to Robinos now .
This has become my new favorite
Its so amazing and old school, hope it never changes
Love this place, great food and service every time !!!

Best pasta, sauce and calamari around. Staff is super.
Fettuccine Alfredo with greens on top. Clam sauce is great too. Prices are a bit high, but at least the food is quality.
