Ive tried to visit this store 4 times in the last month. They say theyre open, but there is ALWAYS a handwritten sign on the door that says they will be back momentarily and the doors are locked. Ive waited on the bench outside the store for 30 minutes the first two times I was there and nobody ever came back to open the doors. So many potential customers trying to open the doors while waited. No less than 10 people/couples tried to shop here while I waited the 30 minutes. We all just get the locked doors and the sign saying theyll be back. Good luck with that! The other two times, I didnt even bother waiting. If I ever do get in, Ill change my rating.

This place is open until 3am which is so convenient when in the area! They sell cheesecakes from a local bakery here and have a great bug selection of wines to choose from here. Definitely will be coming back here every time I’m in the area.

I visit this location almost 2 times a week. The owner is very friendly and he has something very good taste in wine and cigars. His food and drinks are great too! Definitely stop in some time.

What can I say, this place is a staple of Downtown Wilmington. If you havent been there at 2 in the morning having long conversations with the owner oh, are you really a resident of the Port City?

Were here all the time because we live around the corner. This is a really interesting local market because there are a lot of items you wouldnt expect to find in a place like this. They have homemade ice cream and you can also get sandwiches there as well as desserts and fudge. One of the things I love is how dog friendly they are. Just be aware that on the weekends it can get really busy at night because theyre open until 4 AM.

Amazing avocado ice cream. The clerk behind the counter was awesome. He danced and sang as he dipped our ice cream. It was such a fun experience.

I went in here while on vacation from England. I didnt know what to buy and was browsing around and the female cashier asked in a friendly way if there was anything I was looking for. I said something to eat right away. She said I could get some popcorn and she would microwave it for me, I thought that was really nice, Ive never had that anywhere else, great service, and she had an interesting conversation with me too, far better than shopping in England ha ha!

Me and a few buddies each ordered a scoop of ice cream, and the credit card reader was down. I had cash available, but the woman working the counter gave us each two scoops for the inconvenience anyway. Additionally, when I asked to try a sample of one of their fudges, she gave me a large piece and chopped it into small, shareable bites to share among my friends, for nothing. An unnecessary but very well received act of kindness. ☺️Not to mention, the peanut butter Oreo ice cream and the jalapeño fudge are both delicious! Highly recommend!

Great ice cream along with anything else you might need. Its like a cross between a coffee shop and convenience store. It kind of lacks an identity which is what kind of gives it its charm. Seriously, theres a bit of everything in here. Staff was friendly and let us sample several flavors.

My daughters and I have had an awful time here and its due entirely to the woman who is working there. My son suffers from mental disorders that have been agonizing to deal with over the years and he has befriended this woman. Because of this she has chosen to be very abusive and intrusive when my daughters and I come in there by grilling us constantly about the relationship between my son, myself, and his sisters. Every time we are in there together or one of my daughters goes in there alone she starts in on us with incessant questioning and harsh judgments. Yesterday it all came to a head when first she started in on my daughter yet again. Then I went in and waited for there to be no customers so that I could quietly ask her to stop intruding on our privacy. She would have none of it and immediately acted as though she was being threatened by me. She told me to leave the store and began calling the police on me. This is absolutely soul crushing to be treated in this way when one is simply coming in to make purchases and not causing any trouble whatsoever. This woman must be dealt with by the owner for how she has treated us and others that have left reviews. It is devastating to be blamed for something she knows nothing about and that is none of her business.

The woman that works here is incredibly unstable and nosy. Im not the only one that knows this, though. If you ask around other establishments in the downtown area, they will surely tell you the same. After a number of unprofessional and down right humiliating treament by this woman, I finally reached out to the manager. After a couple of talks with him everything seemed like it would be managed and taken care of. That was quite some time ago and nothing has been done. I will never enter this store again.

This place is so amazing and wonderful! I had the pleasure of meeting a manager and a few regular customers as I was visiting Wilmington on business. She was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. I forgot to leave a review a few months ago for this business as I travel to the Hospital in rotation. So I am taking the opportunity to now.I actually was in this business when it was pretty steady and ironically when a question was asked by the sales clerk, is your brother ok because he’s always asking about his family and asking me for food because he’s hungry. I was standing right there when the clerk asked this innocent question. The clerk said He seems to be really hungry and has no food that’s your brother right. The lady checking out just lashed out to her and said really obscene things that she didn’t ask to know and if I recall all the sale clerk just asked why her brother was asking her for food all the time and panhandling. She just wanted to help since she had resources and worked for a few non - profits. No pun intended. The lady just did a 360 in her personality and probably took things way out of proportion. Visiting this town quite often I can see that it may be hard to work in a store with all that goes on like this, but She handled this situation very well. Did I mention that this grown lady’s mother came storming in the store to create more Chaos. The clerk was doing her best in handling all the customers at that time and keeping the store a float. The mother came in and started verbally chastising and yelling at her and for goodness sake the clerk had a business to run trying to check me out and the 5 other people in there. The only thing she could think of is for the reputation of the store at that moment is, I am sorry but I need to take care of these other customers will you please leave. I would have too if someone was yelling at me for no reason. The sales clerk did the right thing and asked her to leave and she refused so she had to tell her she’d have to call law enforcement if she didn’t. I see the reviews and the owner of the store should be proud and know that she is an asset to his company. Besides that and the review that this women left and whomever else. I strongly suggest this establishment! You can’t always please everyone. It is the most amazing place with so much to offer. My family loves it too!

Ive been visiting this store front since the first day it opened. Excellent service, great variety of Vegetarian/vegan and organic foods. lots of great wine and spirits. Worth stopping by!

Visited twice on a day trip to Willmington. First time had delicious homemade ice cream. Second time had heavenly homemade fudge!! Yummy. Very friendly staff. Great variety of foods.

Felt unwelcomed from start to finish. The signs that agressively stress no this, no that around their sad looking pretzels that appear extremely pale and dated. Was asked, if i needed anything long before we entered store, while resting on their bench. After entrance to the store, we were followed around and had our conversation monitoried while clerk proceed to follow us around store and burn an incense stick. This was just unusual behavior to me. She then inserted herself into our conversation and proceeded to tell her own version of self absorbed truths about the nearby homeless. Out of politeness we listened. However altogether the atmosphere was neither welcoming, inviting or worth the outrageous prices on items that can be found at local shops at third of price within their expiration dates. Shop felt dated and dusty and could use an overall good scrub, fresh paint and modern decor. While clerk misjudged my apearance incorrectly for loitering, the stale outdated $5 ginger candies without a receipt were at best a half star.

Glad I stopped by here late one night while staying nearby. Some ice cream, a drink to satisfied my thirst, and great conversation with the manager and other patrons. Also, very much appreciate the manager for exposing me to Thievery Corporation Radio.

We stop here for the ice cream, always good plus its a neat little shop to stop and look around.

I wish I could give zero stars. Visited while on vacation and was attempting to by a few food staples for our Airbnb and was shocked to find food that was over 6 months expired in their refrigerated section. We wanted milk, eggs, butter and bread for morning breakfast and every single item we looked at was expired. The bread was 2 weeks old, the milk was a week old, the eggs were undated and the butter expired in Nov 2018! Obviously the business owner does not care but I cant imagine why this has not been reported by anyone. The health inspector needs to pay this place a visit.

This inconspicuous little market is actually home to the best ice cream in Wilmington. Be sure to try the apple pie flavor.

Staff was not friendly when we came in for ice cream this past week. Seemed frustrated when we asked questions about the different unique flavors and rushed us out. Oh and mediocre ice cream for 2 people cost us $15.

This place is kinda cute and I stop by occasionally. However, a woman who works there has made me feel uncomfortable just about every time Ive interacted with her. I havent seen this in other reviews so I wanted to throw in my two cents.Once, she tried to pressure my boyfriend into buying my items because thats what men are supposed to do. She then proceeded to tell us why she doesnt believe in feminism and aggressively ranted about some other weird stuff.She has also talked down to me for buying cigarettes at this store (???).Today when I went in, she was walking around the store on her cellphone talking to AT&T and being so rude to them, it was bizarre. Just aggressive and mean and unprofessional.I dont ever leave reviews for anything but I felt like someone should say something??? And I didnt want to leave one star because she is not the owner and other employees have been totally fine.
