We think DownEast is great. Great service!! Bought a stainless Steele side by side refrigerator. ice maker not working and they sent a repairman out immediately after providing free delivery.It was fixed and it’s been running like a top ever since. We would definitely use them again. ♥️

I wish I could give zero stars. The prices are tempting - but not worth it, DO NOT purchase from this company. I purchased a new dishwasher that was delivered damaged and inoperable. I called Downeast immediately, they told me they would not do anything to remedy - I would have to wait 30 days, then call the company that provides the warranty to have it repaired. They clearly sell faulty equipment, and expect their warranty partners to fix it. When I finally called on the warranty, they requested a $99 deductible to come service a piece of equipment that was NEVER operable. I called Downeast to complain and was told they were not willing to do anything about it. I will never purchase from Downeast again.

In regards to wholesale. They seem like honest people but unfortunately it’s the complete opposite. They sold a appliance load at wholesale claiming it’s retail ready just sell direct from showroom. Once the truck arrives, we unload to find more then 24 items completely broken, shattered glass tops, crushed washer tops, caved in sides, broken drums, pretty much all junk. Basically selling scrap applainces for top dollar. When we contacted them they offered to discount the load but unfortunately more lies. It’s been 3 weeks absolutely no response. Email calls voicemail text totally ignored. VERY SHADY OWNER. He will not accept responabilty. DEFINITELY STAY AWAY.Edit.It’s been will over 7 months no contact from the owner or management. They are big time crooks. They will paint beautiful pictures describing the product and delivery complete junk. We lost $20k with this scam company.

Very good service and great prices

We are very happy with the refrigerator that we got from them. We had one small issue with a leaking water line, and they sent out a repairman quickly to take care of the issue.

I dont totally dislike thia place to high for scratch and dent, no warrenty.Found a new 0ne with 3 year Warrenty, simple large capacity bells and whistles lot less

Not much of a liquidation store. Scratches and dents all over appliances and they still want close to regular price. :/

Appliances listed on available inventory not available. Listed prices on spreadsheet are not what appliances are selling for in warehouse. Waste of my time and money. Will not return.
