*1:00 appointment The guy said it would be 15 minutes to bring the car to the back but it was 50 minutes of waiting in a not-so-comfortable little seating area and then another 50-55 minutes to change the oil. On August 3rd, 2021, my father, brother and I were making a trip home from Northern Virginia to Orlando, Florida. Our tire got a leak and then blew out going down the I-95 in North Carolina so we pulled over to a gas station. Upon which we looked through many dealerships who were closing or too busy to help us. We then called Mr Tires and Caleb, the store manager, understood our situation and very kindly stayed open an hour past closing in order to put on a new tire and put us on our way. Not only was the place extremely clean, but Caleb and Mike were hospitable and kind. We cannot say enough good things about Caleb and Mike. They were truly a blessing and made our trip 100 times better. They also made sure to have us call them to let them know we made it home safely! Thank you Caleb and Mike! 5 Stars across the board.

A few weeks ago my truck broke down in Wilson. I was on my way to Florida for my mother’s surgery and wouldn’t have made it in time if the guys here hadn’t taken such good care of me. They put other work on hold to make sure I could get to my mom in time and there are no words to describe how thankful I am. They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them.

I go to Mr.tire every time I need almost anything. Caleb is literally the best mechanic and person Ive come along in a long time. He is top notch when it comes to mechanic work down to tires. Its very rare to find a person like that. Hands down I wouldnt go any were else unless Caleb is there.

My family and I were driving home to Virginia from our summer vacation on Emerald Isle when our 2005 Honda Pilot all of a sudden lost power and I had to pull over the shoulder on I-95 in Wilson, NC. The Pilot had to be towed to the closest shop which was Mr. Tire on Airport Blvd. Caleb and his crew went above and beyond to help us get back on the road and not make us feel that our vacation ended on a sad note. The problem was with our transmission which needed to be replaced soon but Caleb was able to figure a way to get the Pilot running and we made it safely to our Aunts place an hour and half away. We cannot thank Caleb enough for his help and kindness. Thank you too to El for making towing arrangements with Sunnys Car Hauling & Towing for getting to me faster than AAA. We truly felt blessed that our Pilot broke down in an unfamiliar place of remarkable people.

Caleb and his team at this location are awesome! I had some ac work done a couple weeks ago, while they were working on it they noticed the arm connectors werent so great took it in and again the crew came through! I highly recommend this location they are super friendly and they even gave me a ride back and forth when I dropped it off and picked it up. I will definitely be back in the future. Superb experience!! 10 stars!! After a terrible experience at another location, Caleb, at Mr Tire, generously squeezed my appointment in last minute, and stayed a few hours after closing, to ensure my car worked as it should. He even took my car for a test drive to confirm proper repairs were made. Not only this, but he helped me with discounts and reached out to my previous service locations to question services received. I will definitely be returning to Mr. Tire for future car maintenance.

To always keep their integrity, since of purpose/drive/fight, understanding and situational awareness that we are drilled to comprehend while serving. I am proud to have met Caleb Peters and his crew (at least three Veterans). Caleb, genuinely cares about the people walking through his door. As I waited, I witnessed this multiple times as he interacted with customers.(New customer gauging the service) My favorite part, he didn’t sit up front at the computer or “bathe” in the cold AC. I watched him leave from his desk and return to later be covered in grease/oil to help whoever else walked in the door /called the store etc. He is busy for a reason! QUALITY and TRUST are hardly something you find within the SAME business today. Way to lead from the front! AATW RLTW!

I had a great exprience coming to Mr Tire Auto Service in Wilson, NC! They were nice to address my concern about my alignment. I actually went to a competitor store before coming here and the competitor store wasnt able to address my alignment issue and I was quoted to do repairs on it so the next day I went to Mr. Tire for a second opinion and they quickly helped me out to fix it! Caleb is amazing! We don’t live in town and had a tire shred outside of Wilson while on our way home. We called around and my husband spoke with Caleb, explained the situation, and Caleb said it could be handled. We made it to Mr. Tire and Caleb had someone go get the tires we needed to be put on the car. We ended up getting all four tires replaced. Caleb was very nice to us and made a stressful situation better.

Me and my friends took a road trip and had gotten a flat tire. The spare tire we had with us popped almost instantly when we changed it. Even worse, the places near us at the time either didn’t have our tire size or weren’t open. After wobbling around with 3 wheels trying to find help we had finally come across Mr. Tire (Wilson, NC). When we arrived there the bearded man told us that our tire size was not in stock with them either. However, the big difference with him is that instead of just telling us he didn’t have our tire, he started calling as many people as he could to see if he could help us. He even checked on Craigs list to find the tires. He told us the reality of the situation is that we may have to get a hotel, order the tire and wait for the car to be fixed. With that being said he still continued to search. Eventually we we’re lucky enough that he found someone with our tire size but they were an hour and a half away. Regardless of the distance, the bearded man sent one of his workers to retrieve the tires and bring them back so he could get us back on our road trip as soon as possible, which he did. He helped us from start to finish with great hospitality. He was kind and patient. Overall super helpful 10/10 would recommend. My only regret with this place was not asking the name of the wonderful man that helped us.

I am thoroughly impressed with the service I received today. I called and asked how busy they were. When they told me they were pretty backed up with customers they offered to make me an appointment. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite when greeting me and handling my service. When he showed me my filters and how bad they were he looked up the cost. When the cabin filter was too high for me to do today he offered to have the guys blow the filter off some to help a little until I was able to buy one. When it was time to check out I was shocked how well priced the service was. After I was handed my keys I walked outside and my car was pulled up for me. When I got in I realized they had sprayed a nice fragrance in the car which was much needed! Above and beyond customer service! Love it! 💗

Good work gone bad because of negligence. I was on plan to drive to beach over weekend so, I came to this store for oil change on Thursday Aug 31 2017. They changed oil and told me that the main belt running the engine needs to be changed. I told them to do it. Today I was on highway. The check engine light was on. I didnt know what happened. I drove carefully to home, I opened the bonnet, I found the coolant leaking from radiator see pics below. I went to the store to check the problem. It was closing time they could not help me. I went home I checked on the YouTube to find what could cause the issue. I realized the car tubing shown in the video looks different. It has a tube going into reservoir from radiator. I checked my car again and found that the tube was not attached back to radiator. I fixed it, I took it to auto zone. I asked the guy if everything was OK to drive. he said it was OK and he said they didnt put the tube back when they replaced the belt. This was a small mistake but it comes at a price to the customer.

The experience here at Mr.Tire was fantastic. They were very helpful. And Caleb made sure my car was in and done right and done as soon as possible.

Caleb at Mr. Tire on Airport Blvd. In Wison was very friendly and courtous from the minute i walked on the door. I went in for a front end alignment and ended up needing tires also. He took his time and went over the prices and gave me a great deal on all my work i had done. He is truely a great man to be running a bisiness. I would highly reccomend anybody needing tires or any other work to come by and see him and he will make sure you get the best possible service. This was my first time but i will be coming back here for now on.

Just stopped by to get some advice. Not only were they busy, but they took the time out to be friendly and help. This isn’t just the host but even the mechanics! My go to place now.

I was told 20 minutes to fix nail in tire. Made an appointment and came back on time. Took almost 1 1/2 hours. I was trying to be patient but after an hour I asked what was going on nd all I got was “sorry I didn’t know the lift would be in use that long” and “it’ll be just 10 more minutes”. It still took another25 minutes after that. Isn’t the point of an appointment and a quoted tire for repair so you can make plans? They are the expert at this, not me. Made me late for an important meeting. I can’t stand it when people waste my time and have no consideration for others schedules. I WON’T be back here again.

WOW! I love Mr Tire Auto Service. I cannot say enough great things about this location! I was driving from Virginia Beach to Miami when my air conditioning stopped working. I was of course very hot and overwhelmed. I called Mr Tire Auto and the owner said he could definitely get me in same day. I stopped and all the technicians were so kind and reassuring. Within two hours, they had my air conditioning all fixed. I only paid $150! Its so refreshed to find a car repair shop with excellent customer service, amazing prices, and the ability to repair things efficiently and effectively. I will definitely be returning.

Some of the mechanics arent good at what they do. Took my car in to have thermostat replaced, took them about 4 hours. Supervisor and mechanic argued. And they always try to up sell. I will not recommend

Figured Id give Mr Tire a shot on a oil change...What could go wrong...plus I got one of their COUPONS in the mail for a $17.99 oil change. We dropped car went to Amy Jos... Came back to get car and was told car was perfect and oil was changed ...That will be $40 bucks!!! WHAT!!! I was told :* Our system wont allow us to do a $17.99 oil change..Im holding their COUPON!!!*Good thing your car is new...Our system charges extra if car over 50k miles...WHAT!!!WARNING IF YOU GO TO MR.TIRE WITH ONE OF THEIR MAIL COUPONS...IT IS TOTALLY WORTHLESS!!!

Don’t go alone if you are a young female!! They will scam you and overcharge you. They take advantage for sure. They charged me double for the same service they quoted a man for!!!

Check engine light on for misfire on cylinder 2. Had diagnosed at Firestone, brought here because they had a better price, was done in a couple hours. Check engine light was still on when I picked up the van. Drove a couple miles to see it it would reset. Didnt reset took so I took it back and they said they would do a thorough check the next day. Had to call them 2 hours before they closed because no one called. Picked it up and drove it and check engine light pops back on for the same issue. Their excuse is I need to take to a dealer because its something in the computer may need an engine. Im not buying it. Waste of time and money. Stick to tires and oil changes.

Had an 8:30 appointment to have a tire patched and a tpms replaced. At 11:00 my tire was patched but was told they couldnt fix the sensor. It only took 2 1/2 hrs to do this. I think that was a lot of wasted time just to get a tire patched

Friendly staff and great service. Takes time to discuss issue with vehicle and they Check over my entire vehicle and make recommendations especially if it is a safety issue. Which I really like since my family rides in my vehicles.

I was able to get a same day appointment. Started on my car as soon as I got there, car was completed st the time I was told. Jim the Manager went over my repair cost and explained everything in detail. After work was completed, all the work was explained and the cost was exactly what was quoted. Excellent recommendations on the type of tire to purchase, the ride is quite and smooth. Definitely would recommend this shop.
