I dont understand why a thrift store would be closed on Saturday. We lived near the store in Raleigh. Saturdays were always busy there. This is the third time that I wanted to donate to the Wilson location, only to find that its closed. I absolutely wont donate to GCF. I have witnessed them refuse to sell higher end merchandise, to a victim of a house fire, that had a county voucher. I guess that I will carry our things to the dump and call it a day!

Decent place. Though sometimes i cant help but think someone is making a fortune from donated items. That said ....if you need a couch or easy chair for a discounted price. This is your spot.

If you are looking a great place to take your “no longer want or need” items.... I highly suggest to donate to our local Habitat for Humanity. Money made from your donations that are sold in their Restore...go right back to prosper our own community. Just a thought if you are looking a worthwhile place to make a difference. I’ve been highly impressed with their employees and volunteers that work there. 👍🏼

I have to say the manager Laura is outstanding and amazing I was in a pinch last minute I asked her if she would love to have my mothers estate for donation to the store she was able to get 2 wonderful men and herself showed up had house packed up it all up in hours had the house empty for us she didnt hesitate. Then I called last minute Sunday with more items she came to the rescue on her own time on her day off ....they are amazing she really has turned that store into something great for the community and the cause Thank You again Laura

This is your typical Habitat Restore. They have lots of stuff for sale from household goods to books to home improvement items. They have a few clothes and they also have furniture. The money they make at the store is used to help people get their forever home. Each store raises money to build houses in their specific counties. They have different stuff there on each visit, so you never know what you will find. Go there for your shopping needs and see if they have something you need. You can also consider volunteering as well.

I love this place. There are a lot of good quality items for sale here, FOR DIRT CHEAP! They have appliances, chairs, sofas, tables, glass and cookware, all types of home decor, and also various home improvement items like doors, mirrors, tile, shelves, shutters and more. I believe the owners/operators are testing out different hours to see if they should be open longer (I voted YES to that idea!) And they often have 1/2 off and other sales. Overall, a wonderful place to go spend a few bucks for something wonderful!

Wilsons ReStore is moving to 602 SW Ward Blvd, behind Pizza Inn, it will open in early November. The new store is being painted and stocked.ReStore is the perfect place to start a DIY project. I see examples of projects all over the internet, that can be done with items from ReStore. Give it a try. Please donate things to ReStore, its how they pay for the upfront cost of home construction. Some people dont understand Habitat, the new home owners do have a mortgage to pay. ReStore raises the money for the construction, then the home owner pays a mortgage upon occupancy. They actually are presented with a payment booklet at the open house. It is not a give away program, it helps working people get in a home.Patty Holt
