William, the manager, Is always so helpful and friendly. I remember when I purchased my glasses, he suggested that I get the warranty. I never buy the warranty or anything. But I took his advice and I was glad I did when my glasses broke a few months later. I was able to get a new pair. He is the best example of of good customer service.

I had a problem with my lenses and took them to LensCrafters at Hanes Mall where I always do business. William Robinson helped me and he was the best! He recognized the problem with my lenses and offered to replace them for me. I appreciated his professionalism and courtesy. I am so glad LensCrafters is a company that hires people like William, and that they stand behind the products they sell.

The nice gentleman that works at the Hanes Mall location actually took the time to listen to my concerns about my recently purchased eye glasses. He gave me advice on what to look for when picking out glasses. Especially since the old ones kept falling off my face.  He also took the time to make sure my new glasses would fit perfectly by using a mechanical device for me to wear.  The other two ladies didnt do this. As a matter a fact the one lady that handed me my new glasses when I first picked them up said How do they feel? and she wasnt even looking at me. She was staring at a lab top which I think was very unprofessional.  Your company is lucky to have him as an employee. He turned a bad experience to a good one. Only because of him will I be returning to Lens Crafters and only because of him did I rate 5 stars instead of 1 star. He deserves a raise!

I would never go back here. They are overpriced and do nothing but try to get money. The eye exam, you have to do a picture of the inside of your eye that the insurance doesnt even cover, its required.No complaints on the two ladies helping with the frames. They were super nice!!! Im not good with names so I cant list them.

Broke my glasses on Sat, went to Hanes Mall location to possibly buy a new pair. Young man was helping me with reading my lens rx and came back to me and had them fixed. So grateful for his help. Didnt get his name. But thanks to him he saved me alot of money.

If you need glasses 10000% do NOT go here. The lady that was helping me really wanted to argue with me and say that I didn’t have insurance to cover my glasses wanted to charge me $500/$600+ I legit came home went online and used my insurance benefits. I know what benefits I work for.

Went and bought 3 pairs of glasses with insurance. The price at the register had increased by nearly $40 over the total presented during the ordering process. Asked why the difference and the Optician said she couldnt tell until I paid and she could see the receipts. Begrudgingly paid, she looked at the receipts and still couldnt figure it out. Made the comment that she doesnt do math. Seriously? An Optician that doesnt do math? Regardless, the manager came over and also could not tell me the difference. Both ladies started getting an attitude when I insisted on a refund of the difference, as no one could tell what it was even for. The whole payment process took over 30 minutes as the manager could not figure out how to refund the overcharges they insisted I pay before getting an explanation of the charges.I am very concerned that people less well versed in their insurance coverage are being taken advantage of. Also, lenses seem to be improperly edged as 2 of the 3 pairs fall out of the frames regularly.Ultimately, I would go elsewhere for your vision product needs. Neither the staff nor the product are worth the hassle.Edit: Not sure why they chose to give me a link to the FAQ/comments form for Lens Crafters. The issue has been settled due to my knowledge of the insurance I was using and my insistance of it being addressed at the time of service. I just wanted potential customers to be aware of the problems I have experienced in the past. Please know your insurance benefits, ask questions, and verify the totals are as discussed during the fitting process.

I read all these negative reviews before I went and was a little worried. Monique was so pleasant and helpful and the other young lady was so funny and sweet. The Dr was very attentive the first time in 7 years a eye doctor was interested to know what I wanted!! So happy to have my contacts back!!! Thanks for being so awesome!!! I will be taking my husband in a few weeks.

I had awesome service. I do miss the old location since it was about 10 times the size, but Dave and Busters made them move. The space is small, but they make it work. I had great help and was in and out in about 15 minutes. That time included looking at frames, getting fitted, updating info, finding my insurance etc etc. Was very impressed.

If I could give them a zero, I would. Please do not waste your time at this location. The sales associate did not want to help me, and I felt it. She was not very welcoming, she did not try to help me with any of the frames, she did not explain the different types of products (lens) they had, and she did not take the time to explain any options for my glasses, such as transition lenses.As a first-time glasses buyer, I expected more. There also was an issue with my insurance, and although she called my insurance company about the issue, she said she doesnt know what the issue is, she cannot help me, and I should come back another time. I asked her to price the glasses for me and said she could not do it.Clearly, she just did not want to help. Its okay. I just wanted to let you guys know about my experience. Please be mindful of where you spend your money.

Appointment at 3:40 pm and now its 4:38 pm and just got in to see Dr. Scheduled appointments should take precedence over walk ins every single time. My time is more valuable than yours as I work to make money to pay the eye Dr which in turn pays your salary. Will be looking to move to a more local Dr, one who appreciates my business enough to keep an appointment.

Horrible customer service! Receptionist unfriendly no eye contact just kind of “go away” attitude. Had an appointment and waited over 45 minutes to see doctor. Doctor was great and very friendly! Third and final visit there will have to find new eye care center unfortunately!

I use to LOVE Lens crafters, not so much now that they dont really have a lobby while you get your eyes checked, youre sitting on top of each other if you get a seat. Why in the world did they change locations, this is a bust big time. AND, for those of us that came because you could get your glasses immediately that ship has sailed, and its not gonna be a week, possibly two I was just told. I did have a great in store experience with both the eye Dr/staff & the young lady that helped with new glasses. The brand is broken, less for the customer, no problem with the staff tho, they were all polite to me!!

I have used LensCrafters for year and always had a positive experience until now. My glasses had to be a special order. I had heard nothing from them in the time frame I was given for them to be completed. I call them on Wednesday and was told I would be called back. I was Not! I called today and found out they cant be made with the frames I selected. I also couldnt get a refund without coming in the store. I live an hour away.

Very unpleasant experience. The staff was very rude and had no knowledge about prices. I was told on the phone that it would be $89 for a eye contact exam, but failed to let me know it would cost $128 for a fitting as well. The doctor was pleasant, but he insisted that my vision got better so I was given a lower prescription. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Unbelievably kind staff! As soon as you step in the door, someone will greet you and help you as soon as they can. Unfortunately they did not have lenses that I purchased in stock. However, they did order them and have them in extremely quick, especially considering it was over a holiday. I cannot recommend this location enough, simply because of how friendly the staff have been!

The staff on duty was very helpful but could not help with my order. I travel an hour and a half to shop at Lens Crafters. I should not have to make a needless trip that could have been avoided. There is not always a lab employee on duty during the evening that can cut and fit lenses. There should be a policy in place that lets customers know this when placing an order so that a scheduled time could be made to get lenses done.

We called them before we came to make an appointment. They said just to come in they do walk ins on Sunday. We arrived around 2 pm after driving for an hour and a half. Although they do not close until 6 pm the rude receptionist said they were to busy to fit us in today. Very unprofessional I guess lesson learned pay a few bucks more and go where they know what they are doing.

Great selection, horrible service. First visit I waited at least an hour to be served. The store if large and they only had 2 people working and about 10 stations to work with people. Then their computers crashed (the employee said the 2nd time in 2 days). You would think such a big company would have reliable computers. I had to call back later on to give them my credit card since the computers were down. Took over a week. Went back to get them waited 20 minutes... 2 employees again... got new glasses... bad fit... another 30 minutes, then left.

The customer service is NOT great. I was told i was scheduled an appointment. When I arrived at my scheduled time, many people were going in ahead of me. I asked if I missed my turn, and was told I was just put on the schedule. That I actually did no have an appointment. That was a little frustrating. Great service at Lenscrafters but you can feel a little like a sheep being herded in there due to long lines and very indecisive customers who will not pull the trigger. They have a wonderful selection of frames and their fitting and sizing process is great. Now you can even get photos of your new glasses options to help you make a better decision.

Employees are nice. Son has broken 2 pair of glasses and they’ve replaced them for $25 no questions asked both times. Their glasses cost a lot compared to other places, but never had any issues with staff or getting glasses fixed.

The selection of frames are very nice. There is one representative there that is always super friendly. However the majority of my experiences usually when I have to call, were absolutely terrible. The agents were rude, unhelpful and condescending. I was told they could hand write my rx. If I uploaded a picture of the rx, it looks like a preschooler wrote it. Too many options for eyeglasses for individuals in this uncertain climate for employees and employers for individuals to be rude. I probably will never do business with them again.

I went there last week and got some glasses I really like but when it came to the sunglasses I was really disappointed. I had to change the pair I wanted 3 times because I would pick them out and the sales rep would say their fine and then his manager would come check on us and tell me because of my vision I couldnt have them. I had to make a rushed decision because I had been there a while and had somewhere to go. I actually hate my sunglasses and am taking them back. I think Ill go elsewhere for them because I know I can have aviators, which is what I want from another place who can make it work with my vision.

No! Visited the new location of Lenscrafters inside Hanes Mall. Small store. Small staff. NO LAB! Poor service. What a shame that such a formerly fine store has been reduced to this. When all was said and done I was handed my glasses smudged to the point I couldnt see out of them. Okay, I get it. I simply cleaned them on my shirt, said thank-you and walked out. Never again will I set foot in that store.

My brother in laws wife recently died in a house fire. His glasses were also destroyed in the fire. . We went to LenCrafters for new glasses so he could see again. When LensCrafters heard what happened to his wife, his home and all their possessions LensCrafters did not charge him for his glasses. LensCrafters is a corporation with a heart. Took glasses back after 3 weeks because everything was blurry.She said let’s recheck your eyes and if they change we will replace the lenses for free.She went back to check the lenses and said they are correct.I questioned the PD as well as the o on the lenses and two other letters.Fortunately she was in the back so long I was able to look on the website I could return for a refund, that I did.She didn’t mention the return policy but paying 500 for beer goggles was not acceptable.
