Cheryl was such a pleasure to work with today! She helped my mom and I try on engagement rings and bands. She was so friendly, funny, and knew exactly what paired well together. She took all of the stress out of this experience for me.
I love my favorite jewelry store! And Steve McDaniel salesperson in the WInston Salem NC at Hanes Mall is the greatest!
They have a great staff and their service was outstanding and their pricesaté really attractive. . Although, their delivery service is terrible. I bought a new wedding ring for my wife and they promised to me that in two weeks they should have that ring ready and the staff said probably early than that. So, that do not happened and in the last day we went there and they have to call to someone else who supposedly was make that ring... results? The ring isnt ready, maybe in three more days!!! It is ridiculous! I guess they should choose better people to working with...
I had a GREAT experience today. Purchased an anniversary gift for my wife, and both owners were VERY helpful and accommodating.
My fiance purposed to me three days before Christmas on Dec 26 or 27 I took my ring to be resized it was a little to tight. I still do not have my ring back and it has been a month. They have no problem taking the money but not supplying my ring in a timely manner. This is unbelievable and unacceptable DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR RING FROM HERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. I SHOULD HAVE WENT TO KAY JEWELRY
Mr McDaniel was so helpful and patient with me while I made my birthday selection. I appreciate not being rushed and small talk we laughed and had a good time. Great experience.
Today I entered Zales to have my wife’s ring inspected and upon me entering the store I made eye contact with an employee who I later found out was named Steve. Steve looked at me and turned his head without greeting me or advising me that him or someone would be with me in a moment. He eventually walked over to a customer he was helping previously in which they advised him that “hey you have another customer” in which Steve mumbled something to them and again failed to acknowledge me. Eventually I was helped by a woman who worked at Zales who provided good customer service treating me like a human and provided the service that I needed and paid for. While I was being helped another customer walked in and Steve looked up and properly greeted her and asked how she was doing today without hesitation. I immediately knew what had taken place and why Steve failed to acknowledge me. This is sad because I am a paying customer and expected to be treated as well as any other customer or potential customer who enters this establishment. Due to this experience I will not purchase another piece of jewelry from Zales and instead I will spend my hard-earned money elsewhere. Zales if you happen to read this review please provide Steve with some constructive feedback and training on customer service to let him know how he should treat individuals who patronize your establishment. I am concerned that if you do not address this you will lose current and potential customers to employees like him.
Cheryl offers premium, concierge service!! Recommend them over any store!!!
My wife and I shopped there for years. We bought several rings, ear rings, necklaces, etc there. We also had them solder together her wedding bands. We bought the warranty. My wife was late for one cleaning in 6 years. That one time came back to bite us. Later. Someone noticed that my wife’s diamond was missing one day. The casing that the diamond was sitting in had fell out. We took it to the store and were told that it wasn’t covered because she was late one time in the past. The ring had been there since on time. We were then offered to buy another diamond. We took it to a local jeweler where we were told about the solder joints failing due to poor craftsmanship. We had him make us a new ring from the Other diamonds and replaced the main diamond with a larger one of better quality. The good thing is that we learned a valuable lesson about the difference in jewelry stores. But local stay local with jewelry.
This is specifically a review in regards to the performance of Tanner Somers. If you’re experiencing issues, he’s your guy.My fiancé purchased a custom order engagement ring from a Zales storefront in the beginning of July of this year. At the end of September, with weeks of unanswered calls, inaccurate information, and unhelpful employees, I felt completely discouraged with no where to turn. HOWEVER, I went to the Zales live advice option and almost immediately got connected with an AMAZING employee named Tanner Somers. No waiting for 20mins with customer service. Tanner went above and beyond to help me with my problems. He was the only person I interacted with who continually followed up with me, sent me texts, and didn’t just leave me with an “I don’t know” when he couldn’t find an answer. It took him 3 days to find a solution to my problem I’d had for months at this point. The company needs to look to Tanner as the standard of employee.
I am standing outside waiting for them to open...both ladies have seen me, it is well after 11. I wish I had never bought anything from Zales. Customer service is always so poor! They hate doing the diamond check before sending my ring out for service and now I’m forced to wait till they decide they want to open??!!! This is just ridiculous!! Save yourself the headache and buy from a different jeweler!!!
Always friendly service
Polite & helpful durning my jewelry check.
Love the jewelry in this store always beautiful
Theyre great when they want you to buy something. I wanted to order a second band to go with my set that I bought a year ago. They no longer carry the set and said theyd call corporate to see if the band could be ordered and call me in a day. 5 days passed with no call. When I called someone filling in from another store brushed me off. I went to concord and the salesgirl had it ordered in 15 min with no issues and gave me a discount for my trouble. Looks like I have to travel out of my way to get good service! Will not purchase from this store again.
Love zales Ive even gotten my brother to buy a ring from them they are friendly, helpful, and even when my wifes ring broke they fixed it in less then a week free of charge
If anyone was considering going to zales for a ring, do your self a favor and don’t!!! My fiancé got me the most beautiful engagement set from zales, 3 weeks ago we sent it off to be sized (they told us it would only take 2 weeks) my ring comes back and is missing a diamond, as well as another diamond loose. They sent it back to be fixed again, comes back today with the same diamond still loose, and a diamond missing on the band! (That has never been worn) the store manager had the nerve to ask me if I just wanted a different ring, LOL NO. after talking to multiple people we have been told the best they can do is send the ring back for the THIRD time and offer us $150 for the inconvenience. Needless to say I am HOT and thank goodness I wasn’t planning a wedding this month because I’d be ringless 🤷🏼♀️ so guys try Jared or Kay because zales is not the way to go.
Super friendly and helpful staff. They helped me pick out the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé!
Customer service is horrible once you have purchased the jewelry. The sales people are rude and clueless on how to handle jewelry repair and warranties. They also do not do any repair in house so you have to send your jewelry off for 3 weeks to have anything done except cleaning unless you pay a $45 rush fee to have it done in approximately a week (no guarantee) and this is with the lifetime warranty that I purchased. My wife sent of her engagement ring before our wedding to be re-dipped and it came back with a diamond missing and had to send it off again after waiting 2 weeks the first time. I will never purchase another piece of jewelry from them and only go in now because I have to in order to keep my warranty. The prices may be ok but it is not worth it. I would rather pay double somewhere else just to avoid the aggravation.
I called to ask simple questions about some information on an engagement ring and possible deals that I could receive if I paid for an item all up front (and I mean a lot of money). I would have accepted being told no because I understand it’s a business. However, I was treated with the highest amount of disrespect by an employee with an assistant manager title. I was treated like an idiot and stupid for asking such a question and every other question I asked in between. He was rude and disrespectful from the moment he answered the phone. I had every intention on buying that ring from this store until I got off the phone with this employee. I’ve never left a review on any store, restaurant, or facility until now. This is just how bad he was.
Good selection at many price ranges.
Opened 2 hours late and said their system was down and would not give me my ring that was paid for just in for cleaning
Broke my watch changing the battery. Refused to fix or replace.
Very very rude employees!! Did not care one bit about us as customers. They are not the place to go to at all. One of the worst
