I purchased the SlydLock mounting bracket for my fireplace nook from CCS. While this is designed to be a DIY product, I did have a few questions and needed some clarification on my mounting situation. My wife and I needed new outdoor speakers. We located Carolina Custom Sound using an internet search of the Klipsch speakers we were after. A quick phone call to Chris, the owner, resulted in our placing an order (no obligation). He offered to demo the speakers in his showroom and let us choose whether to purchase and keep them. We loved the speakers and took them home. But before we left, we discussed an Internet issue with our current wireless router and dropouts with Pandora. Chris encouraged us to change to an Apple Airport Extreme router, which we also purchased. In installing the router ourselves, we ran into a problem and called Chris. Although he was in the midst of an installation, he took the time to walk us through the setup procedure and got our new router working.He went far beyond what I could have expected. And he has earned our A/V business for future purchases. I highly recommend him and his company.As an aside, the personal trainer we both use had a similar experience in working with Chris and the technicial who came to install her new TV in her new home. Very professional and very helpful company! My husband and I were replacing an older tv which was inserted in one of the infamous nook above fireplace configurations, with a 60 flatscreen to be placed in front of existing nook opening. BUT how to do so and still have the components stay in present position at bottom of nook opening? We wanted a clean look without incorporating the fireplace mantle in the equation. Found the Slydlock bracket on line thru Carolina Custom Sound. Ordered and received it within 2 days. The bracket is of superb quality and my husband and I (we are both in early 60s) assembled and installed it ourselves under the patient email guidance of Chris Fredette of CCS. The email help would not be necessary for everybody, as the instructions are clear, however, we didnt trust our senior citizen interpretation of required measurements. Chris was very polite and professional and the product remedied our problem beautifully!

I just wanted to give you guys a quick shoutout. After purchasing a few different (and returning) tv mounts with long extension arms to solve my T.V. in the fireplace nook problem I was about to give up, when I stumbled across your slydlock mount. Life would have been so much easier if I found you guys earlier. I called Chris (who was amazingly helpful) with a few questions and knew this is just what I needed. It did not disappoint. This is such a simple solution, that no one else is offering and worked as advertised. Not only did it solve the distance problem I was having in getting my 60 inch tv in the nook, but it is by far more sturdy than the other mounts I bought as well. I even completed a few pullups on the bracket to test it.
