The quality of this location really depends on who you get helping you at the time. Twice I had a battery under warranty get rejected for the employees lack of ability to even use the battery tester. Ive had another employee not know to use the computer to do a warranty return on brakes and other issues. Bottom line most employees here are incompetent

So low and behold as soon as summer hits my air in my 4Runner decides to cut out. I was dreading taking it to the dealership based on my experience of how they price gouge women. As we are driving my mother notices an advance auto, we stopped there and the man behind the counter wasn’t rude but he wasn’t helpful either. I mentioned that my air went out & my check engine light was on and he said I should take it to a mechanic shop because there was nothing they could do about it. We left and my mother noticed right next door was an auto zone. Mom suggested we stop there which I was leery of based off the experience I had at advance auto. Let me tell you, I am soooooooo happy we stopped at auto zone. When we got into the shop we stood in line and the person that helped us just happened to be the manager, Mark, you will want to remember his name. I told him my situation and he offered to come out to take a look at my truck and to check my engine light. We figured out the problem, he made several suggestions of what I could do and buy and was super patient in explaining all this mechanic stuff in a way that I could understand it. Based off my experience with Mark, my family and friends will be using this auto zone for all our car needs. My sister who lives in Kissimmee now drives all the way over to this auto zone just to patronize based off the awesome awesome customer service my mother and I experience with Mark. With him being the store manager I can only imagine that his employees offer the same customer service with his leadership.

I dont normally work in winter garden but today I did. The machine my company rented ran out of hydraulic oil. I will not tell you how, Home Depot didnt check the machine out. Anyway I stopped at this parts store. They were quick, clean, and courteous. Thank you guys for getting me right back to work.
I’ve been to this AutoZone a few times at this point and they have always been insanely helpful with helping me find compatible parts for my car as well as showing me how to do certain things on my own. Last time I visited, a few weeks ago, they showed me how to replace my wiper blades by myself. Today, they showed me how to find the information about my tires to get the right rims.Not only are they super helpful, but when I had an issue with a battery I purchased at a store all the way in California, they were able to easily replace it for free here in Florida as it was covered under their warranty. Their warranties are top notch!They are probably the best Auto Parts store I’ve ever used and it will continue to be the one I recommend to everyone!

This store is exactly what a diy person,needs right around the corner.O this truck...attempted to go to work,half way there,and thats me..broke down again,all the blue smoke tells me my a.c compressor has just burned up and out..Call up Auto Zone..and like clockwork...they have the speciality belt stocked right in the store.Perfect..helpful employees,plexiglass seperaters..what more could you need.

My car battery needed replacement. The store manager helped me purchase the correct battery and installed it while I waited. I was in and out with my car working once again within 15 minutes after I arrived. Couldnt have been better service.

It was good service but when comes to letting me know what brand of battery, he didnt mention the brand or the performance it has with each brand... not a good customer service on that.

Colton is amazing! We went in for a screwdriver for our headlight and accidentally bought the wrong one so when we asked Colton if he had another, he let us test it out on our car first to make sure it worked and then he actually offered to help us change the bulb for free. Thats customer service!

I recently had a windshield wiper blade shed its blade. I ordered a complete new set of front windshield blades for my 2011 Toyota Prius, from Amazon Prime, believing I could install them myself. My wife and I both couldnt figure out how that particular attachment clamped onto the hooks, due to poor instructions on the package. This is typical when those writing the instructions dont add the detail someone needs that never saw one like that in their lives and they skip detail they have in their memory.I contacted Auto Zone in Winter Garden, on W. Colonial Dr. and the nice people there said theyd be glad to install them. I am 80 and my wife is going to be 72 this July. We stopped in and a young man came out and in secondes installed the new blades with a smile. I think that really was gracious seeing I didnt buy the blades from them. Believe me, if and when I do need something down the line for the car, I am going to check at Auto Zone.

Mike M. was absolutely wonderful today!!!!! I Walked in, almost tears needing help and he was very kind, giving us immediate aid. Not to mention saving us money!! Hyundai was gonna charge us $136 for just a diagnosis, along with the exact part we needed for double the cost!!!! but Mike M. at auto zone did the diagnosis for free and showed us how install the part ourselves. Great customer service, had my battery in stock, loaned me the tools to swap it out (even a 20 torx driver cause my gmc hides my battery in the floorboard behind my passenger seat). My suv was a mile away and I didnt have my wallet, so I was even able to pay with my phone. The gentleman who completed the purchase even knew what size ratchets I needed from memory. Will definitely be back!
I Went on Sunday to the auto Zone on West Colonial just to replace a battery on my car remote. Was told it needed to be done by a dealer only. I feel it was sheer laziness by staff not to work that day. I googled and was able to do it myself. Not good customer service won’t go back there ever!!
My 5 stars is for the employees at this Autozone and the Autozone policy on car battery replacement. The employee who helped me was perfect. My car battery was replaced, no problem. The battery itself, 2-stars. It lasted 31 months. It was warranted for 3 years. I consider myself lucky-others reviewed failed within months. However, when you’re out-of-town and your battery self destructs, it’s not good. There are many great reviews for the Autozone employees. The car batteries, not so much. I will be buying another brand next time skipping the ‘free replacement’.

Horrible and lazy service. I walked up to the store and one of the workers was talking to someone else and blocking the doors. They showed no signs of moving so I had to maneuver around and go in the exit. They seemed annoyed by this.Not one of the 7 employees working asked if I needed any help as they saw me walking around reading the signs. One employee came over and acted like they were putting things away (which made it seem like they were watching me). Do not recommend coming here if you need assistance.
Today I when to the store to buy a temperature sensor and gauges for a custum engine and the cashier Emmanuel can not help me I want options on different sensor but he was not able to help me.is the second time I came to the store first time nobody was in the counter for help.

My Subaru Outback no response for both 2 remote keys, and the small monitor screen for time & temperature has gone, all these happened same time. I went to AutoZone on west colonial which I had purchased many parts before (I have membership with them). The guy told me “We can’t help you, you need go to dealership to find out the problem, then come back for the parts you need.”Everybody knows how much dealership charge for diagnose your car, right? You can’t get out there without at least pay them $100+!I didn’t listen to him, instead, I go to AdvanceDisscountAutoParts, they are just next door to AutoZone.A young guy listened to me carefully, and he connect his battery test pad to my car. My battery was fine. He told me due to my car’s symptoms, he believe a broken fuse cause all problems. He also point me where are the fuses locate in my car, and tell me use my manual book to figure out which one might broken.After a 15 minutes efforts, I found and replaced the fuse. Every function is back. Guess how much I paid? $0.7! Yes, that’s right, 70 cents plus saved 3 hours waiting at dealership!Will go to AdvanceDiscountAutoParts.Never AutoZone again!
I know nothing about cars, or whether or not this place is good or bad, but they get my 5 star rating based purely on customer service. I walked in describing an issue with my car, and they helped me (hopefully) diagnose the issue, gave advice in what to expect, and generally went above and beyond trying to assist.

What do they do insist they cannot and tell my I have to provide my name number address and drivers license for them to look up a part by vehicle information. What a joke.
