Stay away from The Original Mattress Factory if you are looking for a career. They are mandated to hire any qualified person due to the $5M-$10M PPP loan they got due to covid. Unfortunately they dont mandate to keep them. After being treated with disrespect for a week, Even with 20+ years in the industry, I was terminated for breaking an unwritten and unsaid policy: No talking to the customer while you are in training. If you are a professional mattress salesperson they are mandated to hire you. They have no desire for you to be there or sell mattresses (their clerks dont sell they just write the ticket up when the customer selects a bed.) You will be terminated because you Werent the right fit if you are a salesperson.

Worst mattress I’ve ever purchased. Bought a hybrid, spent $2.300 on it and wake up every morning feeling beat up, thought it was because it wasn’t broken in. After two months and no change I went to see about exchanging it as was explained we have a year to do so and they wanted another $200 to downgrade! Extremely disappointed in this purchase. Won’t recommend, won’t ever go back.

This is the only place in Orlando I will buy mattresses from now on. I knew exactly what I wanted. I wad nothing going to buy an expensive, cheap mattress that you cant flip, cant sit at the edge of, and sinks in the middle after a month!!The staff were amazing. They listened to what i wanted and then showed new how they make their mattresses. I was sold at first sight. Then I tested 7 versions of what I wanted!!! Yes 7!! I was torn between 2 models. They gave me space and time to pick. Ever question I asked, they had an immediate answer for.I will later, my brand new set arrived. I am in heaven. Delivery was fast and flawless. I am sleeping great and even have changed my normal position because my pressure points are not aggravated. This was the best purchase in a mattress i have made in over 15 years!!!! Great salesman, Paul, and great service. We replaced our old Original Mattress Factory mattress with an adjustable bed and mattress. No pressure sales and it was delivered on Sat. The men who delivered were very pleasant and showed us how to work the new bed. The bed is very comfortable. There was an issue with a plug which was remedied on Mon. Patrick came to the house himself and fixed it. Overall great sales and service and mattress!

I came to this location for a factory tour and to try each of the mattresses on display in order to select my favorite. Mark Ross did a fantastic job during the tour and answered all of my questions. Months later, I used the quote that he prepared to order online and I am loving my new bed. I live over two hundred and fifty miles away, but it was still worth it to buy here and pay for shipping and installation.

Thomas came to greet us as soon as we walked in, and he did not disappoint: personable, extremely knowledgeable, and not pushy. He gave us all the time that we needed to find the right bed for us and took us back to the factory to see how the mattresses were being made and educated us on the construction of their mattresses vs. other big-name brands. We were truly impressed by the whole experience, including the great prices. Super friendly staff with lots of knowledge about the product they sell. Its of my opinion however they are holding on too much to old mattress technologies. More hybrid options and better sidewall construction is a MUST to capture my attention. You dont hear car manufacturers bragging about all steel construction yet reliability improves every year.... I dont want heavier, I want better.

We were in market for a mattress, I talked my wife into going to the original mattress factory store due to reviews. Desperate for good sleep we did not do enough research, and looking around ended up buying. We fell for their explanation of how it’s made and being double sided, salesman sold us on how long mattress would last. A month after buying we realized we made a mistake!!! Went back to the store and salesman advise us that mattress springs needed to be broken in!! Dont fall for that mattress was way to hard Initially and we fell into there sale speech. Now a year 1/2 later we are stuck with a $2500.00 mattress that we actually lose sleep on!!! Was too hard for my wife, but it was my choice to pursue the purchase. The middle of the bed is way to firm while the sides we sleep in are sink and dented in. We often wake up with body and sore back. I am actually writing this review so no one else hopefully falls into this expensive trap. Take my advise please do research before buying!!!!

Better hours than others, friendlier staff than others, more flexible with delivery than others, great wide range of quality. I went mid range and have not regretted one minute or lost any sleep. It had easily been 10 years since my last. Sleep like a baby. FYI after delivery by very friendly delivery guys I also received a follow up phone call to see if I had any problems. Not a one. We had heard all the adds about this place. We ended up purchasing a mattress to replace our waterbed. These are not the least expensive mattresses but they seem to be well built. I had very good service. They were able to answer all my questions and concerns. The mattress was delivered on time as scheduled and the delivery people were in and out in 15 minutes or less. My wife and I are happy.

I had a wonderful experience. There was absolutely NO pressure, only top notch information provided by Vic Trivette . From there, I took an hour laying on 4 very comfortable beds until I picked the one that fit my comfort needs. I left, went home without purchasing, but returned a couple of hours later, being sure I had made the right choice. Deal done! It was well worth the time and money spent. CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!I have a king and a queen mattress, along with box springs, purchased from The Original Mattress Factory. When I purchased the mattresses, the queen about ten years ago and the king about eight years ago, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful and not pushy The product is well-built, priced fairly, and comes with a 10-year warranty. I didnt know about the warranty until I called them about six months ago to ask them what could be causing my king mattress to sag, and ultimately cause both my wife and my backs to hurt from sleeping on it. Stan, came out to my house, measured the depth of the sagging, and determined that they could correct the excessive sagging at their store. He also determined that the box springs were defective and said they would give me new ones, also under warranty. Two days later, they picked up my mattress, replaced the box springs. Two days after that my repaired mattress was brought back to my house and all was well. About a week ago I called Stan to inform him that the mattress was sagging again and that the corrections they had made only lasted for a few months. Stan came back out to my house, verified the defect, and about three hours later called me to inform me that they were replacing the mattress, with a BRAND NEW ONE, under the factory warranty, FOR FREE!!!! WOW!!! I received my new mattress today, and the difference is amazing. This company truly stands behind their product and I will highly recommend them to anyone I get a chance to. Thank you Stan, and the rest of the wonderful people at The Original Mattress Factory. YOU HAVE EARNED A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!

Just purchased yet another mattress set at OMF. I always research these major purchases again before automatically returning to a business.. In my opinion, businesses must continue to offer a good product at a fair price. In other words, they cant rest on past laurels. OMF is truly an excellent example of all that is good about USA commerce. Ive returned there 5-6 times over 17 years and wouldnt have gone back today except that my research and prior experience indicated that OMF is still the best all around deal in town!!!

Excellent customer service and quality product!

We spent a lot of money, but figured it would be okay since we would have it for 10+ years. It was great for the first few years. We are four years in now, and it is so uncomfortable. The middle of our King size is nice and firm, but where we sleep is too soft. My husband and I both wake up sore every morning. And we have been diligent to flip and rotate it every 6 months (more often in the beginning) as they suggest. We wont be buying another one from there.

Troy and entire staff were very helpful but we never felt any pressure. He answered all of our questions and allowed us to spend a lot of time making our decision. We ended up making a large purchase and slept very well last night.I will try to remember to update this review in 6 months to let everyone know if we are still happy with our purchase.(we bought the orthopedic super pillow top queen set)

We decided to get in the market for a mattress and the mattress factory ended up being just down the street from our house. I was silly enough not to do any more looking around and ended up buying. I think I fell for their explanation of how it’s made and being double sided, the salesman was good. Initially the mattress was too hard for me, but that was my wife’s choice, so I accepted it. It’s been now 3 years since we purchased it and the middle is nice and firm while the sides are dented and I often wake up with back pain. This is my second mattress from OMF. My first lasted 15 years. You can not beat their quality. The price is reasonable for such a great mattress. Why anyone would go to a furniture store for a mattress, I dont know? When the time had come for me to replace my mattress, I knew I had to go back to OMF. I didnt even check out all the Black Friday sales. When it comes to your health, you dont look for a bargain. I highly recommend them for all your mattress needs.

The negative reviews are the true ones. Their mattresses do not last long and they do not back up their products. They will sell you extras that dont fit and then say they cant accept returns...even though they told you it would fit. They tell you a great story when you come in but once they sell you something they forget who you are.This place is a total ripoff. Buy a mattress anywhere but here. Check consumer reports..this place is going downhill fast.

HELP MY Friend BUY A MATTRESS

This place is a bate and switch. All their beds are built the same way with different levels of pillow top. The beds suck! The owner manager is rude, definitely missed his calling as a used car salesman, hes cocky, money hungry and had no problem telling you is your fault not his. Awful, horrible, dont go here.
