My experience with Ethan Allen in Winter Park Florida was a very pleasant one. I had been looking online at new furniture for our master bedroom remodel. I finally found the perfect bed at Ethan Allen. I contacted the store through the website and their designer Katia Patterson followed up with a phone call. She took her time listening to what I wanted, the type of bed I preferred and the look that I wanted in the room. I made an appointment to come in and had given her the precise dimensions of the room with photos. She did a fabulous job rendering the room, giving me ideas and options that I would never have thought of. I ended up going with most of her suggestions along with my original bed and placed my order for all the furniture and accessories last week. I cannot wait to update this post with the photos of the finished job. I highly recommend Katia Patterson to anyone that needs design help

We had a fantastic experience working with Ethan Allen’s Winter Park Designer Katia Patterson. Her creativity, stellar product knowledge, confidence, patience, fast response times via email, and kind personality makes her an absolute pleasure to work with!She came to our house for an in home consult, as well as a few consults at the Winter Park location. She also provided virtual mock ups of our family room to help with making our decisions. We selected the Retreat Sectional with the Anton ottoman. We are also planning on ordering dining chairs in the near future.Bottom line, if you need help with design, furniture selection and placement, fabric, etc….I HIGHLY recommend Katia. :)

It’s such a joy to work with Mercedes at the Winter Park Ethan Allen design studio. Design skills? Extraordinary. She’s such an expert in all design areas and really amazing because she seeks to understand your vision and lifestyle as she weaves together the beautiful Ethan Allan offerings into amazing room design. Actually, in our case? RoomS design. Living room, dining room & den….so far! We will absolutely work with her to design the rest of our home.

Kevin and Luis Have done an excellent job. The delivery was very quick. The furniture was in perfect condition. They are extremely polite . True professionals. We couldnt be happier about somebody delivering our furniture. I wish they moved our house when we moved here.

When we looked up the address and saw it was on Park Avenue and saw the size of the storefront, we were skeptical. Were used to walking into huge showrooms where we have to search for what we want.Here, there were a few samples of furniture and a wall of fabric samples. More importantly, there were staff members more than willing to help us find the furniture that would suit our needs.We worked with Katia, who was great. She listened to what we had to say, then showed us furniture that matched what we were interested in. She was extremely helpful in using the room designer software they have to help us pick the right pieces to fit into the spaces we had.The most important thing was. she listened. Rather than just try to steer us into something she wanted to sell, she listened to us and showed us the furniture that not only met our needs, but also appealed to our taste.I cant recommend Katia and the entire staff at the Winter Park Ethan Allen enough. We even wound up buying a piece of artwork that was hanging in the restroom, as the colors fit our living room perfectly!

We received outstanding design and consultation from our designer Mercedes. She was very professional and at the same time easy to talk with and she understood our personal style for our home. She was very responsive and always answered our emails promptly! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mercedes to decorate our new home in Florida!

I highly recommend Katia at the Winter Park location. My husband and I did a total redesign on our bedroom. Katia was very helpful in selecting furniture style and color palate. I loved that she came to our home to measure the room to make sure the furniture would fit perfectly. She was also great with making suggestions on everything from the bedding, wall decor, room accessories and even accent wall colors. This was our first time using Ethan Allen and we plan on being repeat customers in the future.

Mercedes is incredible. She totally gets my vibe/decor sense even though I had a hard describing what that exactly is lol. My wife and I brought a new-to-us home recently. We lived in our prior home for nearly thirty years and our furniture looks it. We started updating.After visiting a number of furniture vendors, my wife said “let’s try Ethan Allen.”Sure. It sounded good to me. I knew the name but really nothing else. We found a local store and walked in.Initially, we were both somewhat surprised. It’s not a giant showroom but a small store with lots of samples. We were greeted by Katia Patterson, who explained how Ethan Allen works.We sat down with her and described what we were looking for (my wife really did most of the talking…) and Katia designed the dining room set we were looking for. She had samples of both the wood and fabrics to be used.Then, she offered to visit our home and bring samples for color coordination. This… was a whole new experience for me.At the appointed time, she arrived and walked us through everything.I had never heard the term “Design Consultant” before this. Katia is a very professional Design Consultant and was a pleasure to work with. Her eye for coordination is excellent.I’m not going to imply that it’s an inexpensive purchase. It is not. But the high quality of the product plus the professional experience in ordering it… makes it a good value. If you are in the north Orlando area, do yourself a favor and chase down Katia.

As always, my experience with the great folks at Ethan Allen was wonderful! Karen, in customer service is always very pleasant and patient. Taylor and his two partners (sorry I cannot recall their names) delivered my furniture in excellent condition and were extremely accommodating in the placement of the rugs and furniture. The quality of every piece is excellent.

We have now worked with Mercedes on two different homes and have had wonderful experiences. Her expertise in design and color coordination is unmatched! We find Mercedes extremely easy to work with. She listens to our ideas and makes suggestions that help us move out of our comfort zones and the results are fantastic1

Katia Patterson in the Winter Park Ethan Allen - is amazing. She was able to take my project from beginning to end with professionalism and creative flare. Her ability to create 3-D design sketches to help communicate to me how the designs would look completed sold me on working with her. Additionally her obvious love and enthusiasum for what she does makes working with her a joy. Her attention for detail in all her designs and in the tedious ordering process allowed me to feel confident that I was in good hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone!! Five Stars for Katia!!

I already have some Ethan Allen furniture and am in the process of downsizing to a smaller home, with new and refreshed (reupholstered) pieces. Working with Mercedes Lanza, Ethan Allen Senior Design Consultant, has been a pleasure and the best decision I could have made. She is a very talented designer with excellent taste, putting together a cohesive design, coordinating layout, furniture pieces, fabrics, carpets and even wall paint colors! She is very attentive, understanding my likes and dislikes, and also introducing unexpected design flourishes, all while staying within budget. Can hardly wait to see, and enjoy, the finished project.

My husband and I moved to a new house in The Villages about a month ago. We thought that our existing furniture would look great in the new house, but we were wrong, it didn’t work at all. I was distressed, and then thank goodness we found Ethan at Ethan Allen. Ethan is terrific! He came to our house and understood what we were working with right away. He Took pictures and measurements and helped us to use as much of our existing furniture as possible and incorporate a few lighter pieces and rugs and pillows to brighten the rooms. Ethan also helped us with picture placement, picking crown molding, and much more interior design assistance. Ethan is a genius at bringing your space to life! Ethan Weiss Starr is the designer we have been working with since we purchased our home in May of 2019. He listened to my vision and created exactly the look I was going for in every room of my house. He is an outstanding communicator and helped me through our quote, when the best time to order certain pieces is, and he is a constant sounding board for any ideas or questions I have. Ethan is my design consultant and I am so appreciative of the opportunity I have had to work with him. He is so easy to work with and is incredibly accommodating with in home visits or appointments at the studio. I feel like I have a partner who is helping me turn my new house into the home of my dreams.

There are no words to describe the level of service, attention to detail, design savvy given by Ethan Weiss-Starr. Not only did Ethan have a power point presentation of his design that included art and pieces from my home, but also samples of the woods, fabrics and lighting he was planning to use.This is our downsize home and I wanted it to be amazing and It was accomplished. Before and after the project he came to check things out Three times. Mercedes Lanza, a respected designer, has a talent for creating spaces that align perfectly with the customers needs. We have leaned on her on expertise during different occasions and have been pleased each time.

Uncomfortable furniture (recliners). Don’t order “custom” - no returns if dissatisfied. Unless you beg, delivery providers won’t move existing furniture to make room for newly purchased items - not their job, as they readily inform you - not a fun experience if you’re in your 70s! We put recliners off in a side room and ordered new for our living room elsewhere. A costly and unsatisfying experience.

Mercedes has been a pleasure to work with on all our projects.
