I have rented box trucks and storage units from this location multiple times. Every single experience has been exceptional. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I must say that this facility is very well kept. It is very clean. Even the bathrooms are spotless. I highly recommend this facility for your storage and rental needs!

Mike, Christine, and Dustin were lovely to chat with today! After being turned away by not one, but TWO other Uhaul locations, they quickly equipped me with a storage unit and helped me return my truck. The unit is clean and nice, and there weren’t too many stairs to tread to get to the second level.Many thanks!

Amilcar Ruiz the manager is a good man helped me rectify an issue and worked to find a solution to the issue as fast as possible and he listened and was understanding about the whole situation. If the manager works the right way the other workers must follow and it appears that they do. Truck was clean and ran nice. 100% recommend.

Amilcar (the store manager) is amazing! He is polite and empathetic towards the customers. He is running the show on this location. All of my 5 stars are because of him. Without him on this location, our move would not have been possible. He drove more than half an hour and came on his day off to help us. He is a one-man show at this location. When nobody was available at the warehouse to operate the fork lift, he himself operated it to keep the boxes on the trailer. He went above and beyond to help us during the move. I am very thankful and appreciative of him.

I will always use this team here at this UHaul! They are super professional and very helpful! Amilcar Ruiz was the best help we couldve asked for! He responded promptly to all questions and concerns and he really made me feel like I was in great hands! 10/5 stars for him!

We had a reservation for this morning at 9am. No where in our contract did it say if we were not there at the time of reservation our truck could/would be given to another patron. We assumed since we had the truck until Monday, it would be there. We arrived at 10:15 and were told our truck was given to another patron at 9:30 because they had overbooked. No attempt was made to contact us to let us know that if we were not there at 9:00 that our reservation would be given away. They informed us that another truck was available at mass ave in Boston but we chose Woburn due to the move being the next town over. This is an unacceptable business practice. We should have least been informed that our reservation was in jeopardy.

Knew we were coming. Very sort handed, only 1 person there knew what to do to help us and try to work the desk. People sitting around on their phones. Waited over an hour. Drove home with a piece of metal from the car tow dragging that they said was fine.

Im in awe w/ the customer service I was given by Haley! I came down from CaLi for my sisters graduation. She needed help moving out of her apt, Haley was pretty patient & very informative w/ me. Definitely recommend this location 👌

The truck they gave me wouldnt start that was the beginning of the nightmare the guy told me just to move the stick up or down turn the wheel right or left I use the truck all day got done once the gas station put in enough gas to bring it back to where it was when I got it and the truck wouldnt start I sat there for an hour screwing with it and waiting for the roadside service to show up then all of a sudden it started up before roadside service showed up it was a brand new truck and its got problems Im never renting from U-Haul again. A nightmare of an experience

These guys where great.They had a huge selection of clean well maintained trucks.The rates were far better for an out of state move than any other company and love that they offered movers to help.I went from mass to ny and had a day to load the truck 1 to drive it there and 1 whole day to unload before it needed to be returned the following day.It made it so much less stressful having the truck time spaced out like that...good job uhaul. Id definitely recommend them to anyone with a long move ahead of them.

Mr. Ruiz the General Manager is great. Went over the top installing a hitch and wiring on our JL Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. He made certain everything was perfect and the communication was superb. Take your vehicle here for hitch work you will not regret it. Thanks Mr Ruiz!

So disappointed with our rental here. The 20-foot van was dirty (clearly hadn’t been cleaned/disinfected after the last rental) and could barely get over 55 mph on the highway (to the point that we felt very unsafe during the move).On top of that, none of the staff at U-Haul were wearing masks appropriately during our pickup, which caused me to feel unsafe and exposed to risk of illness. The staff were also rude and flippant, and our pre-reservation apparently meant nothing when we arrived to pick up, because we had to stay for a long time reviewing extremely basic details and requesting (and paying for) the packing materials that we thought we had already purchased. When you couple all this with the absurd nickel-and-diming of the billing process, this rental was a massive disappointment and a big downside of our day helping our friends move across states. I won’t be coming back to this U-Haul any time soon.

Amazing and friendly staff, clean, huge and safe facility, easy access to units (load/unload ramp), plenty of carts to use inside the facility. Readily available vehicles, accessories and trailers inventory. Great help and cooperation provided throughout the entire period (4 months) I used this storage. Kandi is really an outstanding General Manager. She always made a point to help in the best possible way. She went above and beyond at times and we really appreciated it. She and her team members are absolutely professional, helpful and make sure the customer needs are catered. They ensured a 100% customer satisfaction. I highly recommend using this storage facility if you are planning to move in and around this area. 10/10 👍🏻

Horrible experience! Absolutely clueless in what there doing. Customer service is nonexistent. I pre registered online so I can get in and out. I was there for 40 minutes. They can say whatever they want and give a million excuses but the bottom line is they have lost a customer. I will make sure to put this on social media then will they realize what an awful job they do.

Today me and my Very pregnant girlfriend are moving 2 States over, she reserved the UHAUL Truck WEEKS in advance. The night before at 7pm we received an email saying that our Truck has been canceled. We Immediately called to get this issued sorted out and sat on Hold for 40 minutes, mind you they close at 8, and when we finally get someone to answer we were told that all the sales representatives left at 7. We were also told that the there were trucks available on Sunday, well the problem is My girlfriend is pregnant and cant do any heavy lifting so all my friends took Saturday off to help. The customer service was completely unwilling to help or explain why my order had been canceled. This is by far some of the worst customer service I have received since the start of the Pandemic, everyone is Big and Bad behind the phone so they dont feel the need to provide the service we pay for. I will never be renting from UHAUL ever again and I will tell my story so noone ever does again. Thank You UHAUL for adding that much stress to my pregnant Girlfriends and unborn child life.

Theyre terrible. Bad, rude customer service. Charged me an exorbitant amount for returning truck to other location after not telling me I couldnt do that. Not to mention the broken down old jalopy they gave me as a truck didnt have a functioning gasoline meter. And the girl working there was very rude about it on top.

Not very happy considering the fact that an incident took place and although I addressed it and I was assured by the staff member that the manager would not be charging my account and that they would be leaving it open until they touched base with me and resolved the matter and which none of that ended up happening I didnt even get a call back just an email and a charge to my card

Very professional staff and super straightforward and easy process for renting a UBox container. Perfect onsite storage solution for home renovation projects. Delivery and pickup of the container is super simple.

Average U-Haul, nothing specific.They have huge parking lot for customers cars, big variety of trucks, very good stuff.It took me 15 minutes to pick up my U-Haul. Firstly, mobile pick up is the best what could be created since you dont need to wait until opening. But I still had to wait since I have some problems with check in, but their stuff helped me to figure out very quick.Thanks!

I would recommend the location, however, the truck was extremely old. It had over 90 thousand miles and it was making a lot of noises and when I returned it on time, I did put gas on it. It was hard to tell if it was enough as the gas icon on the dashboard was not easy to read on the naked eye. If it was missing gas then it was probably around $2.00 of gas. I was shocked with the $30.00 fee, I was charged. Also, when I got to the store at 2:00 pm there was a wait I was not expecting due to only one person working. I was mostly disappointed with the condition of the truck itself and the $30.00 fee was extreme!!

The staff and manager were very helpful with our move. The ramp on the truck would not go all the way into the truck after all of my belongings were loaded so the general manager drove to our house to get it all the way in.

I was at this U-Haul a few days ago to pick up some boxes to move. I waited up at the register for a while, and when an associate came to ring me up they werent wearing a mask. A few other associates came out onto the sales floor and werent wearing masks or social distancing. Poor management and disregard for customers and associates safety during a pandemic. Just go to Penske!

Pretty great service. Staff was friendly and was very quick and thorough. I didnt have any issues with them. They called me to let me know my truck was ready for pick up. After hours was a good touch, the spot to park in was well marked and the key drop as well.

Horrible customerservice at U-Haul Olympia Dr Woburn. The General Manager Jen was rude and entitled and Would not remove extra fees charged for cleaning and fuel. However to my surprise she made it a much better experience when I ran into her stripping at Tens Gentleman’s Club Salisbury two weeks later on a Saturday night. I think she should give up her day job and continue to do what she does best.

I highly recommend this location for its exceptional staff and its clean, well-lit, secure facility. Its the reason over the last 6 months Ive chosen to drop off two trucks there and rent a storage unit. There were many instances where staff members Ray, Ed and Sean all individually provided me with very thoughtful, helpful customer service, including tirelessly troubleshooting and accommodating my many unique moving and storage needs, generously showing me many different units with such patience and understanding, expediting an already efficient process of truck returns, and securing/helping me recover my lost iPhone. Really appreciate all theyve done for me as a customer.

I was truly dreading calling U-Haul to set up a move from Somerville to Austin assuming that the employees wouldnt be very helpful but to my delight, I spoke with Joanne who was incredibly sweet and accommodating. She new everything I needed and made sure that she had all of the information correct for my move. Definitely would recommend the Woburn U-Haul and Joann specifically to help arrange any sort of moving venture you might be making!

I moved to Woburn from Texas due to Hurricane Harvey!! The GM was very nice etc....however when I moved out they charged my debit card 50.00 for a fee I have yet to receive a receipt for!! Warning do not use your credit or debit card....the rep was extremely rude!!

Uhaul trailer hitch wiring was installed improperly at another location causing the blinkers to malfunction. I brought the car to this location in Woburn and Mark was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem quickly and explained the issue in detail. I feel confident in the job this time! Ubox Contaminated with Chemicals & Horrid Smell: We shipped all our stuff in a Ubox from San Francisco to Massachusetts. Upon arrival, all our stuff had a horrid smell. It appears someone filled our Ubox with a chemical spray (we have evidence of residue on boxes and its contents shown in the photos). EVERYTHING has this horrid odor and it is taking us a week to try to get rid of it. Many of our sentimental and personal items we had to throw away :(. We are still trying to get in touch with Uhaul to figure out what happened. We dont know if this is harmful to our health but it is sure making us feel sick. Ill never use Ubox or Uhaul ever again.

Had three unsuccessful attempts to schedule a hitch installation, though they did a good job of that. First attempt I learned the web scheduling is meaningless (they dont go by it). Second time I obtained verbal-only schedule; big mistake it was not put in their system. Third time I obtained both verbal and email verified appointment which was subsequently cancelled as the hitch mechanic did not work those hours. Make sure you speak to the mechanic directly or youll have problems.

I tried to rent a vehicle on their website for several days and was able to do so. When I arrived I was told by the store manager I could only rent a vehicle for one day. Very misleading make sure you do your business transaction at the store not on the website. Very unhappy with this location.

This is my first online review. Giving one star because I have that sinking feeling like Ive just been robbed.I usually leave bad experiences as we all have a bad day. My 19.99 rental plus mileage and insurance turned into $42.00. I expected that because of the mileage costs. Which is fine - thats the cost of doing business. Then comes the insurance claim for $157. Which was a huge surprise, when I took great care with their new vehicle.It started raining just before the handover so the owner just got it of the truck and I got it. To be fair, she did tell me to do an inspection during the paperwork - which in my opinion, is not the right time. It should be when the vehicle is given to you or the keys are handed to you.When I got home, my son and I noticed the damage and I immediately called. No answer. Time was of the essence, and I needed to get on with my work. Fast forwrad to the return, and they charged me for damage we noticed. I pointed out two spots of damage on the truck - apparently they never miss damage. They missed the one place I noticed.Further, I handed my licence to the person checking me in. Told her my email address which was spelt the same as the name on my licence - she took this down incorrectly. Which meant I could not complete the self registration and check in process.Attention to detail is not their strong point.Dont be attracted by the low price. Next time Ill use Zipcar truck rental.

Hello there, I just wanted to drop you a line about my experience moving across the country using your Uhaul Ubox service.I moved from the Boston, MA area to Ashland, OR and used one Ubox to have my stuff shipped. My experience with everyone I interacted with was excellent. Everyone from the person who I talked to about setting up the order to the person who dropped the Ubox off to the person who scheduled the delivery to the people who dropped it off was great. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. It made the difficult journey of moving 3000 miles much more pleasant.My only complaint is the quality of the hardware used on the Ubox itself. The latching and locking hardware was so mangled when I received it that I had to beat the latch with a hammer in order to make my Uhaul brand lock close through the latch. I know that hardware is inexpensive so Im confused why it was not replaced before I received it. This was the only frustrating part of my experience.Overall I had a great experience and will plan on suggesting your service to others. But I will make a point to advise prospective clients to check the hardware functionality before the delivery person leaves.Thanks for your time!

This u haul has wrongly charged us for a scratch. The manager was very rude and she was not ready to listen. Well know if there was an accident or scratch with the van right. We dropped off in the same condition as we got. They didnt even call us before charging our card. When we asked the manager, she is like we apologize that we didnt call you but, it is what it is. Awful management. I do not recommend using the Woburn facility

Ive never had a bad experience with Uhaul, until I rented a 15 truck from the Woburn location.At first, my experience was pleasant and quick; a friend of mine worked there. I checked out the keys, looked over the vehicle, matched the odometer, and went on my way. After two days, and driving approx. 30 miles, I returned the vehicle at the right time and the tech received the vehicle with no interruption.All was well, until I noticed a 237 DOLLAR CHARGE on my receipt! I called the Uhaul location, and they told me that I had apparently drove 235 MILES in two days! I told them that I had only driven from Winchester to Malden 4 times, a total of approx. 30 miles, but of course an odometer is not supposed to lie.At this point, Im waiting to hear back from one of the managers to see if this is a problem that another customer has experienced. If it is a common problem or not, Uhaul will never have my business ever again. Until this is resolved, this experience will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth along with the people I share this with.

I had a very hard time working with U-Box in Woburn. I was overcharge $200 and it took me several phone calls and emails to get that taken care of. Following that, I am still without a receipt for my expensive rental cost. Even the General Manager cannot assist. This place is weirdly shady.

These guys will try to scam you check mileage and card charges or you will likely get screwed by these jerks. Go with Penske instead.
