If I could, I would give this place zero stars. I have never been so frustrated with this business! I purchased a French two door refrigerator, gave them my old refrigerator (which was still running). They DO NOT honor the 45 day policy, since within 3 days of purchasing the fridge, it broke. I had to throw everything away, which was a waste of food. Then I called them from the moment it broke down, with no answer. It would automatically go to this voice mailbox is full, goodbye and no one would answer nor would give me answers. When they did answer, they gave me false hope about coming and fixing the fridge. They did not come for three days, until someone finally came out after three days.Keep in mind, I bought this fridge from them and they said if there were any problems to contact them. How in the world am I supposed to contact them if they do not answer! After calling them and empty promises, we finally got a technician out, who unplugged it and left. Told us to replug it back in after 24 hours. Cool. Great. Until the same issue happened again after two days, I called, no answer. At this point, I was not going to waste my time.I called another technician, from another company. Even with the 45 day warranty, I had to call someone else in to come fix my fridge for another $400 dollars. This is absolutely appalling! I want to add, I do not even have a Google Account and I specifically made this one to tell everyone my experience with this company!

Great prices. This is my second unit, 1st one was 10 years ago.Heres where the rub came in: I paid for the delivery and haulaway of my old fridge. The company came, delivered the unit and went to install it. They did not pay attention to what they were doing and proceeded to rip the bottom of the cabinet off because the fridge was not lowered when they pushed it into the space.Ive tried to contact the company on more than 6 occasions, and was given the run around each time. Since theyve made no attempt to fix this. Im lowering my review to reflect the lack of after sale support.

Maybe I should’ve read the other reviews first. Drove 1/2 hour to this place and first location had a sign that they moved to new location. Found a second location in the same shopping center with the same sign that they moved to new location. After driving around for 20 mins, and not being able to find the location, tried calling them several times but no one would pick up the phone. Don’t waste your time like I did.

I have bought from Better Appliance in 2016 and that was a used fridge. It still works great.So yesterday I bought another used fridge. It was a nice french door fridge that work perfectly. It was in good shape too.Their delivery contractor was on time and very nice to deal with. They were polite and helpful and made sure they didn’t hit the walls.

They sale cheap, damaged and open box items for cheap and promise a 4 month warranty. I bought all my kitchen appliances from them for a remodel, refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and microwave. They promise a 4 month warranty to repair or replace their products if they fail within 4 months. And now they are not standing behind their 4 month warranty when my dishwasher never worked immediately upon installation. Now paying for a repair will wipe all that I saved and my dishwasher will still have a dent in it. Avoid this company unless you enjoy a lasting headache.

Found this place on Offer up and decided to check them out. Came by and had excellent service. Helped me find what I was looking for and reassured me they were warrantied for 90 days. Very clean place and very organized. No need to buy brand new if you can get a good used one. Five star service!!

Great prices, but shady behavior. We purchased a 2018 washer/dryer set and initially had what we thought would be a great experience. However, when it came time to receive delivery we the washer we bought, but a different lower grade dryer. Upon contacting the sales rep we worked through, we were informed we would have to pay an additional $85 to bring out a new washer. Once we explained they delivered the wrong dryer completely, used and covered in lint, the rep said he would need to call us back. The next day we had to call him and he said he still needed to check with his delivery person. The third day we had to visit the store since he wouldnt answer the phone. Upon entering the store we were told the soonest he could deliver the correct washer was two days later. Two days passed and we heard/received nothing. We then called once again and the rep promised the dryer would be delivered that day. One day turned into two and three, and nothing ever came. A final call led to the rep stating that I would receive my dryer no later than 8pm the final day I called...nothing. We went into the store a final time to receive a refund on the difference of the dryer and the rep tried to short us by $10. Highly recommended not doing business at this location.

Needed a fridge. Couldnt get one from all the regular places. Found one here. Seemed a little shady at first, but the guys that own it were super helpful.

Beware positive reviews. Theres a sign in the store offering money for good reviews.Bought a used washer/dryer set. Paid what they asked plus $75 delivery. They put it in my garage because I wasnt home - okay so far. Set up the pair. First load, not sure the spin cycle is working right on the washer; dryer has no heat. Both are too noisy and the dryer has a lot of dents on top that werent apparent because they had them stacked in the store.Under their 45 day warranty the cost to return them is 25 percent of the purchase price plus two $75 delivery and pick up charges. After some negotiation, it cost me $150 total for exactly nothing. I agreed to it so I wont take them to court. Im just glad I can afford the lesson and hope you can save money.Most shocking was that the owner wasnt surprised the machine didnt work. He told me stories of numerous similar issues. He wanted me to feel sorry for him because he wasnt making a profit.

Better appliances in Woodbridge, Alexandria and Manassas are run by the same family. They will sell you appliances and then when it’s time for delivery they will make some excuses. Their delivery guys scratch appliances as well as wall during delivery when they eventually deliver. They will deliver non working/ non functional appliances. Be aware!! Stay away!! Save yourself hassle!! They are cons!!

I don’t know how hard it is for anyone else to call and get ahold of anyone. I found this to be very frustrating. No one not a single person in any department picked up. Not even the main desk. I was trying to buy a freezer and wanted to ask could I pay over the phone then have curb side delivery. But I never got that far.

Great buys for used appliances. They are USED, you do take a risk. As to the negative reviews... Apparently they sell new and/or you can buy new somewhere else. Ive bought several appliances and so have some friends for their businesses. Had a couple issues to where a store credit was issued / difference paid and got a different appliance. No big deal. You worried about deliveries? ...make your own plans to pick up.

Was looking to buy a tiny space saving microwave and really wanted the Whirlpool brand .5 cubic sq ft corner compact microwave. It sells for about $180-$300 on the website and through retailers and I was definitely NOT gonna spend that much on such a tiny microwave, so I started browsing Facebook marketplace to find a cheap used one.When I first came across Dauds listing I was shocked! Brand new and only for $65?!?! It sounded too good to be true. I messaged him and he was super nice and very helpful with sending extra photos. I ended up picking it up the next day. When I arrived Daud showed me the the different colors of the microwaves on display, let me pick the one I wanted, and went to the side to grab me a nice new and fresh unit still in its box. The box was kinda beat up, but he took out the product for me to inspect and it was perfect! He assured me that all the parts were included and it even still had its original factory warranty card.We checked out quickly, got my receipts and invoice printed, and was outta there in under 10 minutes. He was courteous and very efficient. He even carried out the microwave all the way to my car since he noticed I was there alone and the microwave was heavy.Overall, my experience was all positive! The microwave is perfect for my needs, brand new as advertised, and runs beautifully. Im obsessed with it! I noticed a lot of bad reviews on google and yelp for this business but for my experience, Daud took care of everything professionally. Make sure to ask lots of clarifying questions and check warranty thoroughly. I made sure to register for warranty on Whirlpools website when I got home. I also chose to do pick up to avoid any delivery complications and the whole transaction went smoothly. Hopefully this microwave lasts me a long time! I will update if anything goes wrong, but for now I recommend checking this business out!

Dawood, and Wasif are the owners and they are good scam artists. Once you are in their shop they will sell you something and when it’s time for delivery they will make an excuse for weeks and eventually when they send you appliances they send non working appliances instead of the new ones which you paid for. Save yourself a hassle and stay away from them. These people are con artists!!!!

We went in about three weeks ago to pick out a used washer/dryer set we saw on facebook, agreed on a steal of a price with one caveat, they were to fix the seal before I picked it up in a week. Came back a week later, they had not fixed the seal and informed me it would be a few days before their technician would be back in. They then tried to sell me other washers and dryers for the same price. NONE of the appliances have prices on them so they just haggle for whatever they feel like, seems like an easy way to rip people off. Anyway, I just got my money back and got out of that shady place. BTW, the refund takes up to five days and the company is no help at getting it back.

This place is the worst place ever to get appliances from. They don’t understand English language and as such, there is confusion on there part, with regards to what they sell you and what they charge. They tried to charge me $150 extra because they didn’t understand where I lived, even after putting it in the GPS for there driver. Please turnaround if you decide to buy anything from this place. I think they may have pest issues, which may be a problem for your home. After looking at the back side of the washers, I thought I saw those little black dots that certain bugs leave. I’m so glad I got a refund prior to them delivering this trojan horse full of roaches. If I could give them - negative stars I would.

I brought a washer and dryer and the washer had a mildew smell for weeks. The dryer was making loud noise however they came out to repair it. The problem now, is the dryer lint tray doesn’t trap the lint so the clean the lint tray light keep coming on. So you have to dry your clothes several times to completely dry them. To make things worse, I also brought an upright freezer that worked for a short time. I have lost so much food due to the freezer not freezing properly. Overall this investment wasn’t good. Buying new would have saved me the time and money. The customer service is good thus the reason for the 2 stars rating.

BEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!If I could it would receive 0 stars. We have been dealing with issue after issue with this company. A month ago our refrigerator stopped blowing cool air and they brought us another one. The one they brought us was INFESTED with ROACHES!! They were in the seals, in the vents, and even in the ice machine. It took them a whole week to come out and replace their disgusting appliance. The delivery guys would say they were coming, we would take off work and wait and then they would NO SHOW. This happened a few times before they showed up with another refrigerator. The next refrigerator they brought us smelled horrible and wouldnt blow cold air. We called again, they sent a technician to fix the problem. He was in and out the house in 2 minutes and said the damper was just down. After he left, within five minutes the damper was back down. Our food had spoiled for the THIRD time. When we started taking everything out to have them pick it back up, we noticed there was BLACK MOLD in the ice maker. This is unacceptable and we should have read the reviews before going with this company. We are still waiting for them to pick the refrigerator up. They have told us twice in a row they are coming and then dont show up. One of the delivery drivers actually put one of our phones on the block list (we noticed when we called from another line). I hope nobody else falls into their trap of scamming people. I am also reaching out to the media. This company needs to be stopped. I wish I could attach photos of the roaches inside the seals of the second refrigerator and also of the black mold in the ice maker.

Bad customer service and they try to scam you any way they can. They own serveral stores all over prince william county (trying to monopolize) so they can lie to you about prices and haggle you to get the most out of you. They also make up fees to add more to the price... Some how you get fees for a return and fees for the fridge that doesn’t work. They sold me a fridge that stinks and keeps turning off and then tries to tell me to purchase a new one that cost more and I have to pay the difference. So beware, if you have a bad experience in one of their locations you will have the same experience in their other locations (Better Appliance). I understand it is a business but dealing with customers by haggling them and not looking to help them will only get you bad reviews and less profits.

I bought a GE washer from this place. They sold me a faulty machine that wouldnt stop running. It spins for hours without stopping or turning off. After the second load of laundry the machine wouldnt even spin.Their customer service and return policy is a joke. This place is a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor, and buy from Lowes or Home Depot.Youll regret ever buying an appliance from this place. I regret it. I wasted around $100 on there 25% restocking fee and paying to transport their faulty machine back and forth, and my time.

Starting out I thought this place was great. We found a decent stand up freezer for half of the price of a new one. They even delivered same day. Fast forward exactly 59 days later (conveniently less then 2 weeks longer then the warrenty) and Im sitting outside with my newborn and animals as the firemen drag the freezer outside before it catches my house on fire. We call the company and were told that it couldnt have been the freezer that caused the fire! Well Prince William Fire Deptmant and an electrician disagree. Im just glad my family was okay and we caught the fire before it was too late, and my husband had the sense to unplug it while we waited on the fire dept. I would never buy another product from them! My familys life is not worth the $300 savings and the company did nothing to make this right and went so far as to accuse my husband of lieing.
