Not sure what all the negative reviews are about I went to return a package I got from an Amazon seller and the staff was very nice and they worked quickly I was out in 5ish minutes regardless of the line!!

I have been using the services of this location since the lockdown last year. I have been helped by almost all representatives. They have always been patient with me and provide me with the best level of customer service. I thank them for all their patience, professionalism and for always being available to assist their clients. I have been shipping items to different destinations at the same time. I wanted to take a moment and show my appreciation to Guillermo, Josh, Dontae and Mariela! Keep up the good work!

I disagree with any negative reviews on here. My experience has been great at this UPS store location. The manager is always busy, but never fails to stop what he is doing to help out one of his associates or customers. I’ve witnessed this and have experienced great friendly customer service from every employee I’ve encountered. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, this location continued to run business with health safety in place. They’re help to me has been a tremendous help during normal and stressful times.

The UPS store at Potomac Plaza in Woodbridge VA posts hours for notary services until 6:00pm on Weekdays. I scheduled a 5:30 PM appointment online and arrived on time with my elderly mother to notarize a time-sensitive power of attorney. When we arrived the attendant said: our notary leaves at 5:00pm... Sorry. So, I had to scramble to another UPS Store 25 minutes away, hurrying my 91 year old mother (who uses a walker) to get to the store before 6:00pm. Thankfully, the notary at the Dumfries office was kind enough to serve us at 6:10. Lesson learned - dont rely on The UPS Store for important life decisions. Also, the staff at the Potomac Plaza location need to be trained in customer service ASAP. Regardless of UPS response to this, BBB complaint is being processed.

Probably one of the worst UPS stores we have ever encountered!Situation: Paid for 2nd day delivery for an important documentation to LA which got lost in transit. Yes, things happen and that is fine but how the assistant manager & manager handled the process were both horrendous & unprofessional.We went to the store and was told the “due to COVID we can not guarantee the delivery of the document within 2 days” excuse me what type of BS excuse is this? Asked where this is stated and to our surprise the assistant manager said “someone would have told you this when you paid for 2nd day delivery”. Really?Regardless of this, the reason you mentioned it got delayed was because you clearly said it got LOST so it HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH COVID - AKA quit the BS!The moral of the story is, we wanted to get our refund or pay a standard fee since the document never made it on time and was later found and delivered after more than 10 days after “investigation”. What’s shocking was, there was no apologies, no acknowledgement of their mistake, no owning up to the circumstance, and no refund.The worst part of this encounter was not even getting our document delivered on time Via the 2nd day delivery option or the amount..... it was the disrespect from the assistant manager and manager (who was also useless / careless over the phone).Never taking any packages to this store best believe that! . We will definitely contact corporate and see where this goes. Respect is Earned not Given! Google it!

Always pretty decent service. The only negative complaint I have is regarding a UPS Store employee parking right outside the entry door: this takes away an opportunity for customer convenience for the entire time the employee is parked there; and the employees car has a bumper sticker prominently displayed with an F-bomb on it, and a hanging sign in the rear window, also with an F-bomb on it, for all children to practice their reading skills!

I sent a package here so my sister could pick it up. My tracking said that it was delivered but when she went they said repeatedly that they didn’t have it. She left and called me frantic. After we hung up I called the UPS center and they confirmed that it was at that specific address. Shortly after our call, she went back. When she asked about it again, they looked some more and lone and behold they found it. It was there the whole time. I don’t know the staff there but the difficulty of finding a package in your own store should be rather low for a person. Unbelievable that they couldn’t find it and also when she asked where it was they said they didn’t know and couldn’t find out. You should not be working at a UPS store if you do not have the care to facilitate packages. Plain and simple. Wish I could give them -2 stars.

In the day of June 17th I was enter the ups to send my first package ever, not knowing what to do at all the assistant manager Lee greeted me with understanding and great diction. I learned how to do the label and box myself thanks to her and can save loads of time. She was respectful and clear making me feel apart of of the transaction/progress. Great workers like her life make it easy for customers like me and that kind of help and interaction is contagious and great to see. Thanks Lee and ups should thank you.

Made an appointment to have a passport photo taken. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited only to be told that the camera was broken. No offering of rescheduling or apology was offered. I took time off of work to be at this appointment and rearranged plans. Waste of my time. I will not return to this location.

Worst customer service ever. I showed up with Amazon returns and the corresponding scan code. The guy at the Stonebridge UPS Store tells me the return required PACKAGING. I called Amazon, told them I showed up with my scan code and was told by the Stonebridge UPS Store that the item required PACKAGING. To me and Amazon (and Im sure to a lot others who do not work at a UPS Store), PACKAGING involves a box, tape, and a label. Amazon sent me a new scan code just in case there was a problem with the original. I went back to the store, got the same response from the same guy. I sought clarity to the point that I was finally able to deduce that by PACKAGING he simply meant throw it in a box and Ill use the scan code to print the label. With that being my second trip on the same day for the same return, and with me having shared there was a misunderstanding based on the terminology he used, I asked if he had a box I could use. Rather than chalk it up to a one-time issue (he sees me there often enough to know Ive not had any prior issues with dropping off packages), he offers to SELL me a box. I have plenty of boxes at home. Purchasing a box because of unclear terminology he used didnt make sense to me. I went to another business in the area, was given a box which happened to be twice the size of what I needed, placed the items in the box, and folded the box flaps over each other (no tape involved). I handed him the box, he scans and prints the label, and places it on the very large, untaped box. Returning packages at this store will be an absolute last resort for me going forward. The whole thing was pretty ridiculous.

Worst customer service ever.I was there twice but today the lady on the desk was extremely rude. First why I need to print the paper and paid to prind when I had it on my phone all she needs to do its scan and print the sticker to put it on the package ok! So I tried to print it. The computer took 20 minutes because the UPS print page keeps coming blank. I keep refreshing the page and keep on coming blank I ask for help she ignored me and keep helping other people.. after a few minutes I asked her if she was willing to help me and she give me a look from head to toes.. of course the computer was counting the minutes and the longer she takes more money to paid.Bad costumer service.. I will never used UPS again...

Josh and Diana are amazing!!! I always feel welcomed and their so fast and on top of everything!! Its a one stop shop!! They do it all pretty much!! I had a really important DHL package that had to go out and had so much trouble retrieving the code to mail it out! Josh and Diana helped me every step of the way! They made my day!! Very very disappointed! We came in the store after Memorial Weekend on a Tue 5/26. My son went in there to ship a package to TX. I came in there to make sure everything was going well. I told the cashier to put under my name instead. We gave her the apt number twice. The package was supposed to arrive on Fri 5/29. I check the tracking number on 5/30 and it said returning on 6/3. I went back to the UPS store on 5/30 and a different associate assured me it was going back to TX and showed me on the screen that it wasn’t returning. I told her I gave the apt number to the first cashier. She told me to contact the UPS 1-800 number and they can add it. I called and the customer service representative said Potomac Town Ctr needs to contact them because it is returning and she couldn’t add the apt number. I called the store on a three way after 6pm on 5/30 with the rep. on the phone. They were closed. I went back to Potomac Town Ctr on Sun 5/31. I saw the lady who gave me the wrong information about my package. She said she was sorry and she made a mistake in front of another associate and two customers in the store. I didn’t see the other lady who didn’t put the apt number initially. I told her I need to talk to a manager. She said she will keep my receipts and show the Mgr. I told her she can make a copy and she keeps the copy. I asked her for her name. She said the Mgr. will contact me. It is now Tue 6/2 and in have not heard anything. I will never go back there again. I should’ve went to Dumfries like I planned on going because they let me feel real good and confident when I walk in their store and very knowledgeable and helpful. I went to get a box and ended up not making it because they were about to closed. I went to Potomac Town Ctr because I was closer to that location. I need answers I paid $58.19 for something wasn’t done right the first time or the second time. I was going to do it over night. I went to the store 3x that doesn’t make any sense. I’m over it at this point. The box has liquids and the items I know for sure may go bad in that box. Formulas change in liquid forms and I’m very very disappointed and wasted big money on a donation to a young lady whom mother left stranding. Here I am being a role model and help a young lady out. I feel like I have to open everything and see what went bad and this isn’t my fault. This is my first yelp customer complaint. I am a store Mgr. myself and Acct. Executive and this is not good business whatsoever. I will never go back.

Always like UPS for prompt service. This time I wanted to give praise to Mr. Reginald. He was at the store by himself and handled the multiple customers requests (including my own) very professionally and in a timely manner, despite being on his own that morning, he managed to multi task all of the various requests (document shredding, shipping, printing, returning packets) very calmly. He definitely deserves a job well done high five! And also superb musical taste- Will make sure to come back just for that.

Came in requested to print a few documents, the guy at the counter directed me to a computer and told it had to be done there, I explained to the employee I did not feel comfortable entering my information on a computer due to bad experiences in the past and that I rather just forward an email like iv done in the past. Employee refused and made a big deal out of it, so I decided to leave and no longer use the ups store at the stonebridge location. Customers service was garbage.

I was in the area and made plans to come to this location because I needed to return some items that I had purchased from Amazon. I did a little research and found out that they were one of the few locations that were open on a Sunday. This helped me out a lot because I could take care of my return this day instead of making arrangements during the busy work week. It was even better that I was close by. The whole process of sending these items back to Amazon was seamless and I didnt need to do anything. They took the items unpackaged, put them in a box, and sent them where they needed to go. I give them two thumbs up because they actually helped me before they were officially open. The two guys behind the counter were awesome!

Some people are just rude for no reason. Mu first time going to this location, so I went through they consider wrong. I apologize and told them its my first time. She looked at me up and down like a dog and rolled her eyes at me. To make matters worst, I was the only one in there and they made me stand there for almost 10 minutes before I was help. For a long time I have been a customer of this UPS store and have always been treated cordially by its employees, but today was different, it was better! I went to the store to send a return package, but the label code provided by Amazon was wrong. I didnt know what to do and would have gone back home to solve the problem, but Diana saved the day with her knowledge and kindness. She walked me through to solve the problem and even talked to the Amazons customer service in my behalf. Thanks to her everything was resolved quickly. This UPS store has a rare jewel and her name is Diana!

I cant tell if it was laziness or just flat bad customer service that I received today. What a bad experience. I went in to return a package (Christmas Eve BTW). I was unable to print the return label, as it was sent to me while I was runnng errands. I go into this store, happened to be near. I asked the clerk to return it, and get a puzzled looked. Mind you this is a UPS transaction that WAS ALREADY PAID for. Instead of printing the label and being done with it, I am told to print my own label on the computer in the corner. So I go over....after a minute I go back to the counter and ask again for them to print the label. The second clerk tells me I have to run my credit card to print the label. Why? Because I have to pay for the label according to the manager who was also watching a line form. So...I left. Already paid $6.00 for a four ounce package....have the courtesy to not charge people another two dollars for a .02 label.

My experience was 100% positive.I had a job in town that upon completion, I had several large packages to ship back. I was not able to ship some of those until the day I departed to catch a flight back home on Friday.On Thursday, when we were in the store shipping what we could; store manager Joshua Nichols overheard my work partner and I discussing that we would have find a UPS store near Reagan National Airport thenext day and that we would be pushed to make our flight. He asked what time he could come in so that we would make it to the airport. Long story to say this: he opened three hours early to accommodate us. We made it to the airport with time to spare.I’m not saying he would do the same for anybody else, but he bent over backwards for us.Even before, he and the one other person in the store, went through several other customers quickly and were great helping us get all of our stuff out. Great staff.

Im surprised by the reviews. I suppose no one thinks to write about good experiences, only when theyre frustrated. Every time Ive been here the customer service has been outstanding. I was working on a project for work and when there were no customers all 3 gentlemen were working on my project to get me out quicker. They recommended covers for the 4 books I needed bound. They came out extremely nice and professional and impressed everyone. Best yet? Was only $14. Ive taken similar projects to Office stores and frequently they tell me to come back days later. Not UPS Store! I highly recommend this location.

Every time that I have used this location to mail packages I have had great service, in particular, yesterday! I had three packages to put together and ship and, I believe it was the manager himself, helped me to the point of finishing the packages for me! After a terrible experience trying to have my 55 TV shipped to the UPS Store at Merchant Plaza (they wouldnt accept it - too large), this UPS Store accepted it no problem. I spoke to Peter yesterday and he said, no problem, well receive it. I got an email two hours ago that it has been delivered. A customer just assumes a package, no matter the size, will be delivered to these Access Points. Thank you for not having a ridiculous policy like the one at the Merchant Plaza Store.

This was my first time using a ups store. What an experience. I spent several hours over a weekend condensing a package by size and weight to obtain a shipping cost. I rounded up on the dimensions and weight and according to the website, the cost should be around $19.90. When I arrived, Peter was not helpful. You need to fill that out. Pointing to a shipping order form. While I filled it out, he stood over me until I finally left the count so he would stop hovering. All the while, he refused to help the other customers because he was helping me. After he put the info and parameters in the register, he said the cost was $23.15. I told him that the website had quoted me a different price. He said yes, well the website can be higher or lower. I paid the money and left very disgusted. I wish I had read the reviews of this store and I would have avoided them all together. There is nowhere on the receipt that shows the box dimensions, so they can put in whatever they want. I wish I would have asked. I am still disgusted 24 hours later. I wont be back.

I have been to this location many times with no issues. This last visit wasnt as pleasant as previous visits. There was new staff that had not been fully trained and only one employee that knew UPS procedures and he was not working upfront with customers. So it was a little chaotic to say the least because the new people kept running back and forth to get answers. Hopefully during my next visit everyone will be fully trained.

When my son moved away for work, we packed and sent several boxes, costing more than $600 total. The initial boxes arrived perfectly. The last 5 boxes were completely destroyed with clothing items and packing materials hanging out. The box containing dishes was completed bashed about (even though big letters on the box indicated FRAGILE) and more than half of the dishes were broken. Now I cant get this store to even refund me the cost of shipping that box. Im told they were the wrong boxes, there wasnt enough packing materials, etc. NEVER did their staff let me know that the boxes were wrong and gladly took my money. Its absolutely disgusting. Never again will I use this store.

Just finished shipping a package. I am not pleased with the service at this location. Peter was the rep that was at the counter when I arrived. His attitude is less than subpar. He seemed flippant and just shy of annoyed to be in such a position as customer service. He seemed to take the need to ship a package as a personal insult, and heaven forbid I didnt have the address ready at a command. I have never had such poor customer service from UPS and frequently drive out of my way to use their services vice FedEx. Perhaps its too much to ask for to have customer service.Moral of the story: if customer service is beneath you perhaps try another industry.

I love this location and heres why. I appreciate ups inclusive hiring practices. Although challenging at times, Brian, vj, and others always aimed to please and especially vj, he did his best. . Choose another UPS store-service is poor package did not arrive on time. The clerks attitude was awful and he should not be working in customer service at all. Dont recall his name, but the young man working sat Oct 28 around 3 pm should be out of a job for his apathetic attitude, failure to package goods while at the store, flat affect-he never smiled or said any positive customary clerk like interactions such as please, thanks, come again etc. Its friday and my package was to arrive on Wed and it has not. I dont even know if the items were shipped. Estimated amazon shipping costs was to be 9, ups cost was 18 for five-day ground shipping.

On a scale of 1 to 5, this store rates a -7 (negative seven). I wanted to drop off three returns the day before Thanksgiving and called for directions because the mapper was not working. I was NOT told that the streets were closed for a Christmas festival and full of horse manure. After driving round for half an hour, me and my bad knee parked in Wegmans and walked around looking for the store for another half hour. The clerk was a total airhead and was oblivious to my pointed hints about the lack of directions and was only concerned about the packages.

I tried to mail a thin photobook and needed a 12 x 12 envelope. They claimed not to have any and told me I had to use a large box. The ups rep. Then fills my box too high with peanuts and proceeds to jump on my package in front of me to crush too many in. He then charges me extra for the larger box I didnt need, and the entire process with no-one in front of me took over 20 minutes.... not going back.

The truth is very bad on 09/11/2020 I sent a letter I paid overnight $ 62.14 dollars to arrive the next day and you sent it by post, it is Friday 11/13/2020 and it is time that it still does not arrive because of you. I will have to pay $ 500 dollars and I call the customers number ups and the boy who attended me does not take responsibility very badly
