David and Todd have been absolutely amazing! I have an old BMW X5 that is acting up pretty bad and they have been so helpful and kind! Our car broke down Multiple times and they have been working so hard to fix it! They are so respectful and truly car about there customers. Alignment work top notch, and the fact they are looking over things as they are working on your vehicle, tell me they care about their customers.

Incorrect diagnosis on my valve plugs. The cheap battery they installed in my car was leaking and they didnt check it. This was causing the plugs to malfunction. They apparently read the codes wrong. The dealership resolved all of it within 10% of his price. Totally worth going back to the dealer. The dealer also stopped me from wasting money because they said I would change all the plugs and still have the issue.This is the second time an issue came from a visit.The time before was an incorrect oil level after an oil change.2 issues in 2 visits was enough for me.The 3rd strike was a lack of price transparency and I was out.

Excellent shop! Todd is a very nice guy and knows what he’s talking about. I just moved here from Orlando, FL and my valve cover was leaking on my 135i after I had done a big repair myself due to the belt snapping and getting sucked up into the crank on my drive up here. I had a suspicion I was still getting a leak from the valve cover itself (~80k miles) due to smoking on the exhaust side of the engine bay. I would normally do something like this myself, but I didn’t have to time repair it and needed the car the following weekend. I first called Todd and explained the situation and probable cause of the leak. He diagnosed it and had it repaired the following day. Fair price, great service, and an immaculate shop! I will definitely be bringing my car by if I’m in a pinch again.

Todd and Tom put great devotion into their work, recently had some work done on my e46 m3 and after a short bit I heard some clunking in the rear end where the bushings were changed. They asked me to bring it back and seemed happy to make it right. It feels great when you know there are still people you can depend on.

Took my x5 to get a pesky oil leak fixed. Not only was Todd and crew very fair with pricing but they did a great and timely job. This was the first time taking my car to Bavarian Repair and Im really impressed with the experience I had. Upon entering, I was greeted by Todd. We both stepped outside and talked about the maintenance work I wanted done as we were both looking at my engine. He was a very easy guy to talk to and was very welcoming about all concerns and questions I had. Since my car is a little over the 90K mile mark, Todd later walked me into the garage to show and explain possible upcoming issues that typically arise with my vehicle. I dont think I have ever been to a shop where the mechanic was as open as Todd was. He wanted to make sure I had an understanding of what he was showing me and what that could possibly mean in the future (in terms of repairs). Everything he was telling me checked out b/c Ive been doing research online on what to look out for as my car ages. There was never pressure to make a sale. The thing I really liked about Todd was that he fully explained about the possible repairs I was asking him based on my research. He will go into great detail explaining what needs to be done during those repairs and why. I greatly appreciated his expertise and the time he took to answer all my questions. I wish all shops were like this.

YES... it has been a YEAR now!! My poor MINI is still DEAD. I trusted Bavarian Repair to give me Professional diagnosis and at every step, Todd failed me on providing a remedy or any responsibility to help solve an issue. After a year of HELL I offered while in Birmingham, Alabama & driving through Atlanta, on my way home in Camden, SC... I contacted Todd to inform him that I am sitting at a UHaul, ready to get a trailer to pick up my car. I had driven 2600+ miles from Washington STATE and was ready to pay his invoice INCLUDING the exorbitant storage just to end this issue and move on. Todd then informs me that he will be closing at 6pm and is not willing to miss dinner with his family to stay late so I can pick up my MINI. It is now that I am truly convinced his motives are to steal my car using a Mechanics Lien as his instrument so not at any time has he come up with a solution to fix any problems from DAY ONE!!From this time on, Todd refuses to answer my calls. He puts his Service Manager, TOM on the phone to inform me that Bavarian Repair is unwilling to take my Credit Card over the phone. I must appear in person to pay my bill. I have offered many remedies to collect my parts, tools and other belongings in the car as well as contract a transporter to pick up the car and bring it to my shop in South Carolina. Tom, an Agent of Bavarian Repair refuses to comply with any remedies.It is with this I hold Bavarian Repair Liable for all loss of use, investment and opportunity for marketing, brand awareness and actual damages in the amount of $25,000.00

Excellent place! Very knowledgeable about MINIs, including the different engines in different years and how each one acts & what it needs. Everyone there is quite friendly, and they really go the extra mile for you. Its totally worth the drive - I come from Mableton, but one guy who recommended them drives from Athens. Now Im glad I needed a new shop, because Bavarian Repair is far better than my old one. If you have a MINI, I cant recommend them enough!

I have had my oil changed twice and have had some modifications done on my 2017 MINI S. These guys came highly recommended to me by people in a nearby car club. I cannot say they didn’t measure up! They are honest, reasonable and the waiting area is so comfortable.

Todd is honest, fair, factual and an exceptional mechanic. That goes for everyone at Bavarian Repair. I initially met them when my sons BMW had a weird glitch and I was about to drive it to DC then Maine-- up to college. They caught the glitch and found a major malfunction, which would have left me stranded somewhere. The team literally worked through the night to get my car fixed so I could leave on my trip. Since then, I have brought them an Audi R8, a Mercedes, and my Porsche. (We are car people.) They do BMWs exclusively but I always ask their honest advice before taking my other cars anywhere! Best mechanics around. I still drive from Buckhead to them when our BMW needs service.

A few months ago my BMW was in need of some engine work. Once I arrived, I could see that this would be a different experience than your normal shop. I was greeted by the owner, he walked me around the shop while he shared his vision of customer service. Needless to say, the car purrs like a cat and is running great. This will be shop for any BMW needs.

Amazing shop! My daughter has a 2011 Countryman that we have serviced there. Wouldn’t trust anyone else to work on her Mini. They will take the time to actually walk you into the very cool garage area to show you the old parts and explain why and how they failed and what the process was to repair it. The best.

These guys are the very best. It’s tough to find a mechanic that does exceptional work, explains all the details, and charges a fair price, let alone one that works on Minis. I brought my car to them on a Tuesday morning with zero notice, and they were able to take care of everything by Wednesday evening. Talk about incredible service! I’ll never bring my mini to anyone else. These guys rock!

After spending $2500 on clutch replacement and few additional parts I will not recommend this shop to anyone. The input shaft seal had to be replaced 3 times due to them not using a proper tool to seat the seal, had to order custom tool from Germany, seems like its their first clutch job on E39 chassis or all other jobs they performed they never used this special tool.

Excellent service all around! I have never been to a shop that gave up the chance to make money in order to save me money. Everyone there was super helpful and nice. I’ll always make the drive from Dahlonega, GA to have them service my Mini.

Excellent repair shop, I was on a road trip and had to come in for a check engine light. Instead of charging for a diagnostic and system reset, like all the other BMWs in the area, they diagnosed the problem for free and since it was just a loose sensor. They fixed it for free. Amazing service, thanks for the help!

No one ever likes it when the check engine light comes on, but at Bavarian Repair, you know youll be treated with respect, and they wont price gouge you. These guys rock. Its tough to find nice people who do a good job at a fair price. Todd and his crew have it down.

This place is fantastic! Todd and Tom are the most honest and genuine people I’ve ever come across when it comes to car repair. They really care about you as a person as opposed to transaction. I’m a student from abroad here on my own and he went out of his way to educate me on oil change and even fixed my windshield washer outside of what I actually came to repair. Such nice people, definitely recommend!!

From my first contact with Todd, I knew this was the BMW shop to take my car to. Todd and Tom care about relationships with people and car enthusiasts. I never leave reviews, but this place got 5 stars from me. Todd and Tom are both exceptional guys and know what they are doing! I brought them my 2010 Mini Cooper R56 with electrical issues from water damage. They were very transparent from the very beginning! Cost me a fraction of what the dealer would have charged. They ended up having to replace 2 modules. The FRM and the CAS, both of which are 400$ a piece.MINI dealer charges 200$ for spark plug changes, I cant imagine what their price would have been for this kind of work!The car was fixed and ready to go within a week and a half or less! Cant thank these guys enough!

Ive been very impressed with Todd and Bavarian Repair. My first interaction was great. I swung by the shop after work for an oil change and Todd was able to look over my car last minute. I didnt have any major work done, but he was willing to take the time to look for oil leaks, show me exactly what he was seeing, and recommend specific people at United BMW to help get a few gaskets replaced under warranty. Awesome guy and good price for the regular maintenance I needed.More recently, I was stranded at a grocery store with a dead battery about 10-15 minutes from Todds shop. I could not get it to jump start. Instead of letting me get a tow truck which can be dangerous, Todd drove TO ME to help me get it started and replace the battery. Unbelievable service.

They are the GEM of Atlanta and the area is lucky to have them. I flew down to ATL to purchase a 135i and drive it back 800 miles. Find out the car was WAY past its oil interval and he was able to fit me in an hour before closing and did me a solid by check everything out for me before my drive. Would recommend to anyone!

These guys found things that two other BMW special repair places did not find. They were very patient to explain everything to me. They sent me pictures as they found the issues. I had just purchased a used BMW from a 3rd party a few days prior and visited Tom as the shop was opening this morning. I was concerned of a few items on the vehicle and being new to BMW ownership, wanted to make sure everything on the vehicle checked out. Tom found a few issues and was very detailed in his explanations. You can tell he really enjoys working on BMWs. He invited me back into the shop to take a look at the car on the lift and pointed out various problem areas he was concerned with. In addition, he advised me to call the BMW dealership to check the manufacturers warranty. Sure enough, it was still in tact. I booked an appointment over at Global BMW for the same morning and got the general maintenance issues taken care of. I will certainly be back to have them change the oil/filter in-between scheduled service intervals with Global BMW. Let me just say that every BMW owner needs to bring their vehicle to Bavarian to let Todd and his team work their magic!!! When I dropped my car off Todd took the time to listen to my concerns and ask follow up questions to get to the bottom of the issue and was even courteous enough to spend extra time with my car to diagnose and solve the problem. He called me each step of the way to update me and really put my mind at ease. I knew i was getting phenomenal work done and not being ripped off with the costs. He even put a list together of items that need to be addressed which can be overwhelming, but made me feel better when recommending you just start with one thing at a time and if it takes you a year to get through the list than so be it.
