Brian knows his stuff! I usually expect to spend more for quality auto work. But we recently had a wheel speed sensor replaced here (genuine KIA part) for the lower end of the RepairPal online quote estimate of $213-$285. Another shop up the road (rhymes with Christian Brothers) refused to honor the RepairPal Estimate (even though they are supposedly RepairPal Certified) and tried to charge me nearly $500. Brian diagnosed and replaced the sensor the same day without an appointment. Very happy to have found someone I can trust to do good work for a fair price right here in the Towne Lake area! This is where we will take our vehicles from now on.

I had been going here since before they changed ownership/management. My dad had gifted me a gift card from there that covered 5 oil changes. I had always been happy with the service. I am a young blonde girl in my 20s so it is easy to be wary of car shops taking advantage of me. I went for my last oil change on the card in the beginning of Jan 2021, and had never had to pay out of pocket when using this gift card. First off, I made an appt ahead of time, and when arrived was told it shouldnt take longer than 30 min. It took almost an hour and made me late to another appt up the street. And when I went to checkout the man said I owed an extra $55.... what? He said the gift card only covered a normal oil change and my car required full synthetic oil and I needed to pay the balance. $75 for an oil change? I had never needed that before at any car place. And had never paid more than $30 for a synthetic blend oil change. I said that that didnt sound right and he said its what my car required. I didnt have time to argue because I was late for my other appointment. I would hope that me being a young girl did not affect this transaction, but unfortunately I somewhat feel that mightve been the case.Disappointed. My father and I wont be coming back.

On my way home after being turned away from several dealerships, my car overheated quickly. I was in the parking lot next door and just pulled in to see if they could perform a quick diagnostic test. They were closing in 15 minutes, but promised me they would run one first thing in the morning. They stayed open long enough for me to be picked up, were friendly and courteous, and promptly called me the next morning. While they did not do the repair to my car, they provided me with sage advice and how to navigate the repairs at my dealership where I purchased my car. KUDOS to the staff here! They made a stressful experience much more pleasant!

Got a great quote to get my catalytic converter installed on my 2011 Honda Odyssey which was a couple hundred dollars less than the other shops. Got the quote that morning and had to bring it back due to meetings at work but the new owner assured me he would have the part when I got back. Sure enough when I got back at 1230pm the part was there and the mechanic got to work. It took a little longer than expected and the owner even offered and gave me a ride back to my house to pick up my son and take him to football practice. That’s first class service if you ask me. I am a loyal customer and would recommend them to anyone

I expressed my concern about the guys working in my car wearing masks. I had 2 cars to work on. The (I think) manager said he understood my concern as he has family with health issues as well. He recommended I go to a drive in place where I can stay in my car myself. He let me take my business elsewhere because he was a decent and good dude. This other place, I’m here now, it’s crazy expensive. I’d bet I won’t need another oil change for a while— at least until pandemic ends, but these guys at SpeeDee have a life long customer out of me for that kindness

The main reason I went to SpeeDee was they had a promotion of giving away the brake pads. I needed new brakes, tires, oil change, and transmission fluid.The gentleman there was very nice and did work with me as much as he could in prices and coupons.We got everything ordered and started. I get a call the next day that my brake pads are low at 2mm (I know they’re low I wanted them changed) and that it was going to be over $300 more for everything on the brakes. I already had the price laid out for me and worked with the best options I could in my budget and even added 4 tires instead of 2 because I could swing that much. The most frustrating thing about this interaction is I decided to go here because of the brake deal and ended up leaving with my old brakes. I felt like I was getting taken advantage of. Probably won’t be going here ever again. Make sure you are clear with what you need with them. Never would have gotten all 4 tires if they had added the brakes in the first place.

I stopped in one minute before they closed. The low tire light was on for one of my tires. A young man named Alex was very happy to check it for me. He even went a step further and checked all other tires, just in case they were low and not showing on the dash yet.Alex was so polite and helpful. Received outstanding service today from this location when I went in for an oil change.Ron, the manager, was super informative on other issues with my car and gave me an honest itemized service quote with very reasonable prices. He visually mapped out the source of my problems and clearly explained how I should approach getting my reoccurring issues fixed. I called my dad immediately after I left the shop to talk over the car health evaluation I received and he was shocked to hear how honest the breakdown of the quote was.Having done most of the work on my car for years, he’s very skeptical of crooked mechanics trying to pull stunts on customers. However, today’s service has gained his trust in the workers at this location. I am a college student a ways from home so it brings us both relief to have found a trustworthy shop that I can rely on for car help when I need it!Wonderful service, dad approved, will be back again.

Went to SpeeDee for the first time for an oil change. Nicest mechanic Ive ever met who was honest and sincere. He was upfront in telling me that my car was overall in very good condition (for a 2007 with 130k miles). He was honest about my brakes, tires, engine, etc and didnt push anything on me that I didnt need. The only thing that he said was to make sure that I had done my 100k check-up and suggested that I look into doing my 130k transmission fluid service. Although Im unfortunately moving out of the area, Im still going to recommend this location to my parents, brother, and sister.

Everyone here was knowledgeable and willing to help. I had some unusual issues with my electronics that I know many mechanic shops aren’t great at resolving, but these guys knew what to do. Honest and reliable work. I’ll be back.

*UPDATE*The manager of the location, Chad, reached out to me to offer me a complimentary service and was very understanding about the situation. If anything else, just call ahead before going in to make sure what the wait time will be!The employees were nice but I waited over an hour for an emissions test only to be told that the printer was broken and I could go down the street to their sister store 10 minutes before they closed. I wouldn’t have been too upset over the wait but there were only two people ahead of me. Seems like a ridiculous wait time for something that was promised to take 10 minutes.

The guys were so helpful with my tire. Turns out it was nothing and I just needed air. Honest group wouldn’t even charge for looking at it and adding the air it needed. So with that you have gained a new customer when I do need service. Thank you so much!

I would of gave zero stars if I could. I sent my employee to get an oil change on our fleet truck. Our truck drives a ton and has an oil change every couple months. The shop told my guy the oil was like syrup and it needed to be flushed with a detergent. They charged us $128.39 for a basic oil change. BEWARE of up charging mechanics. This is ridiculous!!

My husband brought our daughters car in because we thought it was the alignment. It was actually the tire and the guy was nice enough to deal with but they quoted us wrong and refused to honor the quote. Their quote said $117 and then when he went to pay said it was $169. Excuse me? Their excuse was oh, we forgot to include cost of balancing etc. Unacceptable. $169 for one tire? I paid just a little over $200 for two tires at Walmart down the street and that included balancing, etc. They brought it down to $149 (a whole $20) but still its not my issue you misquoted the cost and mislead the customer. If wed known itd have been that much for one stinking tire; I would have taken it elsewhere and shopped around because I have dealt with many tire companies frequently over the years in the area and this was our first experience receiving a quote where they forgot to include items in the quote and tried to rip off the customer. Never again. Buyer be warned that your quote includes all services.UPDATE: owner contacted me personally about this and apologized emphatically about the error of the quote. They are in the process of training and learning which created the quote error and he admitted his tech should have honored it, that it was their mistake. Hes made amends with us in a way that Im satisfied with especially after speaking to him. I would give them another chance to earn my business.

My car hobbled into SpeeDee oil change a few weeks ago. The muffler literally was dragging from beneath car. I was in a bad place. Chad came out right away just to check on the situation. He saw what was happening and while they didnt have the tools to fix my muffler Chad was able to lift up my car and patch it up in order to help me get it down the road all at no charge, just to help me out of a dire situation. First time there. I wanted to be sure I let others know the level of customer service here.

Chad at Seedee Oil Change is great. I called and made my appointment with no problem. Even though I got stuck in traffic they stayed late to do my oil change. While I was waiting they let me know I needed to get new tires for safety reasons. He stayed on to get me 3 different tire estimates so I could take it home and go over with my husband. He even let me know they price match. I have found a place I feel looks out for my safety with out trying to take advantage of me, like so many other auto mechanics do. I can’t thank these guys enough. My daughter was recently involved in an avoidable incident where another driver forced her to turn into a steep curb HARD to avoid being hit broadside. There was serious damage done to the hub/wheel, suspension, and steering components. The shop manager and Tech that worked with and communicated with us couldn’t have been more thoughtful and professional in their approach, solution, and delivery. I’ll admit that I was hesitant at first as I thought they were ‘just an oil change place’ but my options were few save a tow truck and it was the weekend. They blew me away.. Great job guys- y’all are true professionals and (wait for it) actually understand how to deliver great customer service. You have a new customer and hopefully many more!

I seldom have first experiences with companys as good as mine was today with Speedee Oil Change, Tires & Auto Care on Eagle Dr., Woodstock. I first phoned into the shop and spoke with Jeremy who explained to me the system...I really needed an oil change as I was leaving out of town for a couple of weeks. The Kia dealership and several of my previous haunts were all unavailable. Jeremy said bring it in in a couple of hours and we will get you fixed up quickly...they did. When I asked about a coupon that I had he said sure bring it in and we will take it off the already fair price for synthetic oil change...no attitude.When I arrived a few minutes late Jeremy checked me in got my car on the rack quickly and the 17 pt. service began...I noticed a 5 oil change package that was really impressive as I use only synthetic...after the service had begun he gave me the 5 pack discount...even cheaper than what I had agreed to, then I asked about cabin and air filter he said they did it and it was about 25% cheaper than where I was going to go...also, with the 5 pack deal I get free tire rotation which saved me about 60 plus minutes of going to Discount Tire...if I could get in.I got in at ten minutes after 11 and got out by 11:45 (gave me time to walk over to Chick Filet for lunch.Now, this is my first experience but it was extremely impressive and the service prices were very good. As a side note I overheard a technician (Ray) and he was explaining the issues a customer was having and he really felt sorry for this customer and showed real concern on how he could help...this was not staged...Ray and Jeremy both sounded extremely competent and concerned for a customer not even there. That goes a long way with me.I met Chad the mgr and he could not have been more pleasant and appreciative of my business. Well done Speedee...now, I know they franchise so I can only speak for the one in Woodstock, GA...

Promotional in January got me a tire rotation and Synthetic oil change for $56. They even cleaned the cup holders. Happy with their work.

Brought my car (05 Highlander) in for an oil change and ended up having them replace the rear brakes while it was in the shop. The cost was ridiculous ($700 for an oil change and rear brakes) but I was leaving town the next day and had to get it done. 8 months later the same brakes that they claimed to fix are leaking and need to be repaired again. The price is one thing and I can be okay with that but having parts that they installed fail in less than a year is unacceptable. Customer service was good but felt like I was getting lied to in the face, now I think that is true. Very dissatisfied and would advise no one to go here.Update: I spoke with Chad at the front desk to resolve the issue; he was very polite and helpful. he was able to give me a refund on the parts that malfunctioned. Customer service is very good and these guys are honest and stand by the work they did.

Chad and Eric were the BEST! Everyone thinks this is a new place since Meinike got bought out. Actually it is the same great guys still there only Speedee got better equipment for the workers and the costs are A LOT less. If you had a 5 pack oil change from previous store they will honor it as well!They are perfectionists that will work on the car until they know it is correctly repaired.
