Excellent moving company. They were a referral from my sister and I have already referred them to two friends for their upcoming moves. These guys were awesome. Another mover came out after a 3 week reservation and refused to move my house full of furniture because I lived in a small hill. I had to find Motivated at the last minute and they came out with 2 crews of 3 guys the same day and moved everything super fast and highly professional. I would give them 6 stars if it were an option. They have won all my future business

We hired Motivated Movers to load our truck for a cross-country move and could not have been more impressed by their speed, skill and professionalism. They packed far more than we expected, in half the time we planned. The staff is 100% professional from top to bottom. They even gave us a big hand on short notice the next day on last minute work we needed to do before we got on the road. Just an all-around fantastic team.

Scheduled a move on relatively short notice. Motivated Movers was very responsive in securing a date/time that would work for me. Not an easy move (pickup at storage then at high rise before moving to a different high rise). The MM team -- Lane, Caleb and Tyler -- were outstanding! Worked their tails off, and got finished in a much shorter time than I estimated. Great experience and would absolutely use these guys again!

My wife and I hired Motivated Movers to help us move this past week.Darius and Eli were incredible movers, very professional, and very fast (they were practically running most of the time).I would highly recommend them for future moving needs, for the value, experience, and customer service.

I would not recommend this company. I had a queen bedroom set, a sectional and a bookshelf with less than 12 small boxes from my 1 bedroom matchbox apartment. It took two movers 3 hours. They were taking the boxes out one at a time and loading them on the truck. I asked if they had a dolly and they said they do not use the dolly. They basically milked the clock. I still had to get someone to put my bed frame back together properly. They were not experienced movers. When we got to the second location, I told them to just leave the boxes in the garage and once again, it was one box at a time while the dolly sat in the back of the truck. They did not wrap anything before taking it out of the apartment. They milked the clock to get three hours. Trash!

This company was exceptional! Fair rates and very professional. The crew - Austin, Marty and Darius - completed the move in about half the time that we expected. They RAN from the house to the truck between each item that they loaded/unloaded. Very courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!

This weekend we had motivated movers moved my senior sister. They took good care of moving her things carefully. Very professionally done. These three young men were respectful and polite. We were very pleased. Recommended.

If I could add 10 more stars I would. This company EXCEEDED my expectations. Our movers were Eli, Roy and Caleb. They arrived on time. We had a VERY STEEP driveway so they had to park at the top. They would RUN up and down the driveway in between loads. And this happened all day long. They NEVER stopped hustling. Even on the other end of the move when they were so incredibly exhausted it was starting to show they NEVER slowed down.The entire crew was kind, cordial, thoughtful and hard working.I CANNOT say enough about this company. I was desperate for movers with a truck after being completely left in the lurch by PODS. Not only was the team of movers available last minute, they were INCREDIBLE. My team was Tyler and Ish, and I was amazed at how much they could carry and that they literally ran from my apartment back down to the truck to get more stuff. I wish I had hired Motivated Movers in the first place. They will definitely be my go to movers from now on!

I had two movers today with Motivated Movers. The guys were Austin and Ishmael. I was very impressed with their sense of urgency. This is the first time I used a mover. This company will be my go to company in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone moving local or interstate.

This is by far the worst experience that Ive had with a moving company. If I could give them a 0 rating, I would.Pros:Competitive hourly ratesCons:-Unprofessional (i,e. I asked the driver Ishmael why I was being charged for them to clean the back the truck after they had already finished unloading my items. He got an attitude and started raising his voice. Thankfully his manager, Kevin, was on the phone and asked Ishmael to calm down, apologized for his behavior)-Inefficient movers (i,e. They dont have the necessary moving tools to have an efficient move. Instead they find ways to make extra money off of you. They had NO dollys, carts, etc. So when they get tired, they slow down and your cost increases because theyre tired.-Incapable of fulfilling their duty as movers (i,e my bed wasnt put up properly.-Overcharge and scam for extra money (i,e as noted with 2nd bullet point. I moved from a one bedroom to another one bedroom, located less than 3 miles. However, it took them 5 hours to complete this job. Additionally, when they arrived to the 1st location, it took them 10 back into the loading zone but I was charged for there inability to drive

Great moving company to use! I had pleasure to have Jarrod and Ishmael work with me. The way the guys move my belongings was unbelievable. Even though they charge by the hour these guys made sure they did everything in a timely manner. I’ve never seen movers run after each time they loaded something. These guys was the best ever! Overall, I had a really good experience using Motivated Movers. Dion, Justin, and Blake are great young men and they were easy to work with! Kind, quick, and efficient. Throughout the experience, I was glad I hired movers for this transition because it was much simpler than using family or friends.Area for improvement: I made a reservation for two movers and three movers showed up at the time of service. Note: There are additional costs for additional men. While it may speed up the process, the customer should be informed ahead of arrival that a change like that is occurring.Thanks for an enjoyable move guys! :)

These guys are hands down the best. They disassembled our furniture, loaded it into their own truck after taking it down a flight of stairs, drove it to the new house loaded it in and set it up. Their names are Austin, Roy, and Josh. I will definitely be a returning customer.

The guys were awesome! They were very careful to make sure all furniture ect.. was taken care of. We have a very steep driveway. The guys had to park at the bottom and Carry everything to the bottom. The driveway is worse in person than the picture! We had a complete house full to move. There was not a scratch on any furniture. I can’t thank these three guys (Pierre, Lemont, & Blake) enough for how hard they worked to get the job done, and make sure we were all settled in our new home before they left. I would definitely recommend them for your next move.

Pierre and Caleb were awesome! I cant thank them enough for the effort they put in helping my Grandmother get moved in. We had a 8am-12pm window of arrival and they called us promptly around 8am to give us a heads up they were in route. They help move everything out of my Grandmothers storage unit to her new apartment in Holly Springs.The unit she had was filled to the brim but they were able to get everything out effortlessly. They made sure to wrap the furniture and some of the other more delicate items. Overall everything was done quick and efficiently. Pierre and Caleb were also very respectful and polite toward my Mom who was also present at times during the move.Motivated Movers does things the right way and hires the best! Thank you.

Pierre, John, and Austin were great!! This was my first time using movers, so I wasnt sure what to expect. They got everything out of the old house and into the new place quickly and efficiently, which wasnt an easy task given the new house was 3 floors. They worked great as a team, and had great attitudes. They were literally running to and from the truck. And they did everything much faster than Id anticipated so it was cheaper than expected! These guys were awesome!! Pierre, John and Austin arrived early and were prepared to work. I lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor and the stairways were narrow and the trek was tough - they didn’t complain once and their stamina was impressive. Everything was moved out and moved into my new destination within a couple of hours. They were so efficient and professional - this current move was temporary and will definitely be using them again, specifically Pierre, John and Austin, for the final move! No hidden fees and very affordable. Highly highly recommend these guys!!

I work in a senior community and rely on excellent resources. Needless to say, I deal with moving companies 6-10 times a month. This is the FIRST and ONLY moving company that is… 1- intelligent and professional. Not just the manager/owner, but ALL of the team/movers!!! 2- excellent with communicating, when they arrive, concerns, obstacles before they occur, as well as a simple text saying, “let me know if you need anything from me”, while they are on-site.Many moving companies have destroyed our 4 elevators, left trash and debris in the hallways, threw boxes in our small trash room… but not this company. I monitored their first move into our community like a hawk, spoke to their movers, walked with them up and down the halls, elevators, and stairs. I had conversations with their team of movers during the move. I was truly impressed and relieved at the same time. I didn’t want to write a review until I experienced many of their moves on our property and was certain this was how they operate all of the time. I can tell you now, they have been consistently professional.

We absolutely loved the guys helping us out!! We were moving from Cartersville to Rome, and me and my husband had told them if they want to unload in the driveway; we’ll get everything inside. Then we were impressed with their speed. They’d bring something in quickly— gently place it where we asked and then ran (literally) to grab the next item. They were fantastic. 10/10 recommend to everyone!!

Anthony and Rain did a fantastic job. Imagine living on a three stores building. Two bed, two bath. And Anthony and Rain moved our two bedroom fast, efficient and effortless within two hrs. I have never seen people move that quick on stairs. I will definitely recommend this guys. I will be using them on my next move for sure!!

Gave me a quote and broke a lot of my things. Then due to one of the helpers got injured. Which took them longer to finish. Then on top of that they got lost finding the location. The Gas man had to tell them how to find the address. A lot of profanity, dishonest, no kind of humanity. All three of the workers and Manger are full of lies and I would not recommend them at all. Just really blew my mind and took a toll on my health as well. Can you believe the manger asked me to give him a copy of my ring video sad to tell you I am a very good hearted person, He tells me that his worker has high reviews. Well that do not out due me as female in the Marines and I filed a lawsuit and chargers. Then sign over the original price and the video. It is a ruthless business. I am going to release after the court. Now you done this to so many others. This time is your last time. God is leading my battle against you. Ring do not lie workers and CEO, etc. Now my advise is to come with it.

Motivated Movers stays true to its name! I paid for 2 movers and they sent me 1 more to my surprise for FREE! I had Pierre, Ishmal and Caleb-THEY WERE AMAZING!! They couldn’t have been nicer and more efficient. When I tell you they were sprinting from one item to the next, I’m not kidding. I think they deserve an Olympic gold medal for their efforts. We hired a teaming 3 to move our 4000 sq. Office to a new location — and we got lucky with the team of Micah, Roy and Lamont.They worked real hard, moved fast and were very professional. I have used Motivated Movers several times and I have had a good experience every time. During this particular time, Ian and Rain helped move my belongings out of state to a storage unit. They showed up within the scheduled time frame. They were very professional. They completed everything in a timely manner and was extremely efficient.

I was disappointed in this service. I had packing services on 4/27/21 with Pierre and Tyler. Then we moved on 4/28/21 with David, Pierre, and Shaq. For the packing the arrival window was supposed to be between 1 - 3PM, however they didnt arrive until 4:45. I feel the packing was done hastily, as there were many items dumped into the large boxes. It made the unpacking process quite the headache. There were some items with our pictures/art that I feel could have been packed better. Putting heavy items on top of cardboard/paper prints wasnt a good idea. This lead to some crumpled prints. This isnt random documents we had laid about, we had some art prints displayed on a shelf. Not framed, or backed, but we had them displayed, and I believe its reasonable to assume they could be packed with more care. The packing crew left around 7:45 - which I get was probably a very long day for them. But there were some things they missed in the packing, some kitchen utensils hanging on the wall, and a few random items in an office. They left a stack of packing paper on the office floor. I feel had they not been a rush, items wouldnt have been missed, our prints would have been packed with more care, and the move the next day would have been smoother.Moving Day - Arrival was within the designated window. That was great. And Id like to compliment Pierre, he hustles - he was running back to the house to get more things, and took every opportunity to make no wasted trips. Great job!The move could have gone better though. Near the end of the loading process they ran out of room in the truck. I had to decide what got left behind - a desk, a cat tree, or a lawn mower. Ultimately they found room for everything but the lawn mower. But there were still other random items in the house. I had a globe and drying rack still in the house. So I had to make a couple more trips back to the house for the mower and those things. I think its reasonable to assume these things should have made it on to the truck.Reading through the documentation I assumed the TVs would be packed in a TV box, I know there is a charge for that, but Id gladly pay it for the extra protection. My TV was damaged in the move, it took me several days to notice, but the bottom corner was slightly bent. Along the same lines, I was under the assumption that mattresses had to be bagged (again for a charge). This wasnt done either. I wasnt really concerned with damage there, just cleanliness, moving blankets are often quite dusty.Overall, I feel like the packing was done too hastily, and the moving may have been too - considering the truck didnt quite fit everything. We spent over $2000 on the service, and unfortunately I cant walk away saying it was money well spent.**Edited - changed from 1 star to 2 stars. They did reach out and apologize for the service. They also gave some compensation for the damages and an hour of the time billed. While Im happy to have received some compensation, it doesnt fix the damage, and short of replacement, the damage is unfixable. I also dont think its reasonable to replace a $2000 television because of a bent corner. So it is what it is. I dont expect perfection. All I ask is that a company treat my belongings the same as their own. I dont feel that care was taken. I understand truck size limitations, but that was resolvable on moving day. Our desks could have been broken down to make more room. Or they could have offered to make a second trip - the person I recently spoke to on the phone acknowledged that. This was a local move - about 15 minutes away. I understand that I would have been billed for additional time, but that was not offered as an option. For the above reasons, and the tardiness on packing day, I feel 2 stars is a fair rating.

WARNING- Do Not Use this Company!! They took 9 hours and $1k+ to move my 800sqft apartment!! This was one trip!!! They refused to wrap my furniture in the rain & now my items are damaged. Not to mention all thewall & door damage to my newly constructed home. When I tried to explain to the manager Kevin he refused to hear anything other than me paying before they would unload my items off the truck. He was disrespectful & dismissive. After payment Kevin assured me an investigation would be done & someone will contact me. When I followed up on my concern no investigation was submitted regarding my move!! Motivated Movers has made owning my new home in Atlanta a living nightmare. Do Not Use their service....

Micah, Dion, and Roy from the Woodstock location arrived on time, called 30 minutes prior to arrival, and followed every instruction for the move. They were polite, efficient, and packed everything beautifully.My bill was exactly as quoted at the time of scheduling. I was so impressed that I’m keeping them for another move next week.

Movers came within specified time, were polite and professional. They were very careful handling my antique furniture .I moved two pieces within my house and they were very fairly priced compared to other movers.

I was going to leave a 1 star review after they canceled my move 30 minutes before they were supposed to show up. We had to reschedule a week later due to a shortage in their work force and let me just say...Vinny, Anthony and John are the only employees on your workforce you need. Vinny was in constant communication with me the day of the move and incredibly polite. Anthony and John were literally RUNNING back and forth moving boxes as efficiently as possible. They moved my heirloom piano in perfect condition along with other bulky odds and ends and I just cannot say enough about the three of them. Its only because of them that I am leaving a 5 star review!!

Where to start with these spectacular dudes? For starters, they are extremely game and ready for any type of move. Some movers are picky about the jobs they do...not Motivated Movers. I had a very specific move that involved packing, loading, and unloading for two full days. They didnt even seem to break a sweat. On top of that, they were flexible, had excellent communication every step of the way and followed instructions to the letter. We had one hiccup and they took full responsibility, even though, as a small business ourselves, we had to take some of the responsibility as well. Regardless, they did everything in their power to make sure we came out ahead and did so with grace and appreciation for us as a valued customer. This was my first time using Motivated Movers, and after the experience I had, certainly won’t be my last. The movers called 48-hours prior to the scheduled move to confirm each detail—large and small—and also the day of to let me know that they would arrive within 30 minutes. Camden and Ian from Motivated Movers set aside their plans and showed up on Sunday —a day that Motivated Movers isn’t even typically open—and arrived precisely when they said they would, worked quickly, diligently and tirelessly all while taking special care of each of my belongings. They were respectful, courteous, professional and truly a pleasure to meet. I would recommend Camden and Ian to anyone!

They still managed to finish the job in less time than we had been expecting. They hustled literally all day. We would absolutely use this company again and will be recommending to anyone and everyone.

They communicated great, on time, efficient and expert. We had to move a baby grand piano. They knew exactly what to do, brought all the right equipment for a few tricky variables. Brought it in, set it back up and didnt wake up anyone! lol. They really did a nice job.

I cant thank these guys enough for their efficiency, professionalism, and punctuality. They are a great team.

I made an appointment on a Friday and they were able to come out the next afternoon. The crew lead, Ian, called me 30 mins prior to their scheduled arrival as planned. I have never used a moving company before and was worried I wouldn’t get the efficiency that I expected since I was being charged hourly, but they showed up and got right to work. Ian, Joe, and Camden were respectful, efficient, and did a great job. My expectations were far exceeded and would use Motivated Movers again for sure.

Kevin, Shaq, and Immanuel did a great job moving my stuff. Lots of hustle from those guys they got it all done in 1 hour.

UPDATE:They responded to my review admitting they damaged our furniture and admitting to the Court Order, but still call us liars and have refused to reimburse us per the Court Order... so were going to ask the Court to hold them in contempt and apply interest and all other penalties allowed by law.Nothing like altering a Contract after the fact & without client consent, damaging property, ignoring a Court Order and calling your clients liars to build a loyal customer base. Not a smart move!PREVIOUS REVIEW:We sold our home last year and hired them to pack us up and load everything into storage while our new home was being built. Jeff, the owner, came out and was really friendly and provided us a quote of $1,275 to pack and move to storage and then $900 to move out of storage and into our new home. After we signed the paperwork to move into our new home they altered it - increasing the amount from the $900 they quoted to $4k+! They damaged TONS of our furniture, broke hardware, deep gouges to wooden furniture, broken electronics, broken decorations on and on. Their workers admitted they had damaged everything and assured us the owner would make it right and correct the paperwork. He did no such thing. The following morning we emailed Jeff - the ower, pictures of the damages and asked him to come and inspect everything and take care of us and correct the contract to reflect their quote. Instead he refused and demanded immediate payment. When we insisted a representative come out he refused and instead sued us! The judge awarded us damages in our countersuit. Jeff and Motivated Movers have ignored numerous emails and calls attempting to get them to honor the Court Order.

Anthony and Chuck where amazing, quick, And very efficient. They arrived on time as scheduled. the move which would’ve took me days only took a couple hours! Very impressed with their work. When I move again will definitely be calling motivated movers!!

I really have nothing to complain about other than a miscommunication about loading a couch onto the truck that wasnt being moved.Ian and Lane were on time and loaded up our 3 bedroom 3rd floor apartment in a decent amount of time. No issues with broken furniture or damaged pieces (which made me SUPER happy as this is definitely a first for me).Now, the truly impressive feat these guys managed to accomplish was getting the moving truck through my new neighborhood on a mountain and then backed up in my driveway. I literally had to walk away in panic because it didnt seem possible, but they actually got the truck up the driveway and I dont think even a leaf on the side of the drive was disturbed!They unloaded us into our new house in honestly record time. They moved the stuff so quickly, yet so cautiously, I felt like I was watching ninjas going through an obstacle course. It was probably more entertaining to find out towards the end of our move that I had many mutual friends with Ian and Lane from high school.Overall, Ian and Lane made my move less stressful and more entertaining! I would definitely use Motivated Movers again, but alas, I plan to never move again. However, I will recommend others to use this company! Not only were they efficient and professional, I researched other companies in the area and they were cheaper by a long shot AND didnt require a deposit (which was awesome considering money tightness due to the purchase of the home we moved into).

I was very impressed with Motivated Movers. My movers were named Dave and Tyler. They never stopped working the entire eight hours. I was also impressed with their positive attitudes. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the best way to move and store items. I had some very complicated statues that they were able to help me pack away with extra care. I had to put together my move at the last minute and motivated movers came to my rescue. I’m going to use them again and I highly recommend you use them as well.

Weve used Motivated Movers twice and have been very pleased both times. Ian and his crew: Chuck, Pierre, Tyler and Lemont were punctual, professional, accommodating and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Im giving this review to save someone else from going through this. A truck was supposed to arrive between 11-1 pm on 5/22. We sat around for an hour after 1 pm wasting time that couldve been used for other things that we needed to do. I called the office and they transferred me to Tyler, he never answered his phone and his VM box was full then I called Jeff who I had talked to the other day .. he also didnt answer his phone and his VM box was full as well. EXTREMELY unprofessional to have customers calling you simply to find out why you literally havent showed after an hour of the time period !!! After 1.5 hr we just considered it as a no show since no one bothered to contact us to inform us of what was going on ! 3 hours later they call tell us they are on their way .... And when I told them they were 3 hrs passed their time they never even apologized just acknowledged that they were late. No way was I giving my money to a company that would over book and couldnt even give me the courtesy of letting me know that they would be late !! So I cancelled. If I could rate them -10 I would !!
