Wylie Eye Center is absolutely amazing!!! I’d give them more stars if I could! First of all, they have cutest quaint store front in downtown Wylie. I love the location and inside, they have tons of open space, plenty of room to wait and the walls are filled with all of the glasses options. Our appointment time was at 5:30, which is very helpful for working clients. They called us right back -almost no waiting which was so nice. They got started right away on the various preliminary tests for my son. He was pretty wiggly but the eye technician was very patient. We headed back to the exam room and Dr. Anderson came in to greet us. She was great! Very friendly and approachable. Kind to my son and very thorough. We enjoyed chatting and hearing what she had to say and felt like we were in great hands! Then came time to pick out glasses! They had a great selection, an office staff member helped us make the final decision and for us all checked out and taken care of for what I thought was a very reasonable price! They helped keep my younger son entertained with a few little treats too. The whole process was great and I highly recommend them!!!

I paid more here with insurance for lenses alone for the same prescriptions and extras than I did elsewhere for frames and lenses with no insurance. ...Hundreds MORE. ...oh but you pay for personal service, NOPE wrong again they think they have the answers before you even finish your sentence, because they wont let your finish your sentence. Lifes too short to pay this much for something you can get SO many other places. AVOID Wylie Eye Center!!

Dr. Royster conducts a thoughtful and precise eye exam always taking into consideration the posture of his patient. He offers pertinent information as he examines the eyes and is constantly aware of all the Covid 19 specifications. His integrity and confidence are always foremost.

Staff is very friendly, professional and personable. Ive always felt comfortable with each visit. Dr. Anderson and Staff never hesitate to answer questions and inform or educate during exams. Ive been a patient since 2015 and have always had a pleasant experience.

Service is so friendly and relaxed. Each step of having your eyes tested is explained to you. Very professional. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. And now with Covid they are extremely safe. Currently my appoint was with Dr Denton and she was very informative and friendly and helpful in explaining the results and options of my exam. They always make sure you get the best fitting contacts. I told the doctor that the lens dor the left eye bugged me, but the one doe the right was great. She gave me two more sets of trials and I picked the one that felt best! Now I have two happy eyes!!In addition, I have seen 2 of the doctors and they both corrected to the smallest detail. I have been to doctors that only correct to close. They really take the time to listen if you are willing to tell them what has been happening with your eyes.

Ive been going to Wylie Eye Center for a few years now. Ive always had positive experiences with the Eye Docs and theyve always done a FANTASTIC job. They are up to date on eye care and cover things in depth and clearly (you might say 20/20)... GREAT Experience!!!Why 3 stars and not 5 you might ask... After my latest eye exam, I was taken back out to the lobby to wade through somewhat disorganized display of eye glass frames and was completely ignored - even after sitting at a table with what I thought might be the frames I wanted. I ended up checking out on my own after the final straw... somebody walks in off the street and is immediately helped by the counter staff, leaving me sitting there still waiting.So to wrap up... Love the eye docs and appointment team and will be back... Ill find somewhere else to go to actually buy my glasses.

Wylie Eye Center is awesome. I thought they closed at 2:00 and walked in to buy a pair of glasses at 1:55. The ladies didnt even say anything to my husband and I and we took our time. We found the right pair and were out the door by 1:25 but the staff never said anything about them being closed, and gave us the absolute best service. I recommend this to everyone. Such a great place!

These doctors are very through, knowledgeable and explain everything. The selection is amazing & works well with ESP Vision. The staff is friendly & helpful and they are in the neighborhood, which means I dont have to go too far to get home when my eyes are dilated. 😁

I went to the new location in Murphy. I found the staff to be very efficient and pleasant, even though I was first in the door on a Monday morning (when I tend to be neither of those things). The initial technician, Dr. Suzi, and the young woman who assisted me with glasses (Courtney?, again, Monday) were great. I highly recommend this provider and their new location in Murphy is beautiful!

I have been going to the VA Hospital to check my eyes. I do not want to say anything bad about the VA. They have to many Vets they have to take care of. Wylie Eye Center did something that I have never gone thru. I felt that they took the time to really look at my eyes. Great JOB!

Staff are super friendly and wait time was short. It was my daughters first eye appointment and saw Dr. Royster. He was great and patient with my daughter. He explained everything including what he was checking before he does the procedure so we had a full understanding. We will be back again.

This office is VERY busy but I was greeted right away and only waited about 5 minutes for my appointment. I was shocked at the time the doctor spent with me (over an hour) going over all of my options and answering my questions. I really was able to make an informed treatment plan. Would highly encourage this practice to anyone needing eye care.

Ive been to several eye places over the last several years and this is by far the best. Although the first available appointment was a few weeks out, I can understand why. The place is very nice and well kept inside. The receptionists, the doctor, and tech were all super nice as well and informative about all the tests and what they were for. I did not feel rushed through everything as I have with many other places before.

We had a great first visit with Wylie Eye Center and Dr Royster. I’m so glad we’ve found this office for our vision needs! The staff was so patient and friendly to my 4 year old. I know that’s not an easy age to work with and make feel comfortable, but my son enjoyed his visit and is looking forward to going back.

Had no problems with the eye doctor there. However! The people who work the glasses side of the business are absolutely terrible! I had picked out a pair of new glasses and asked them to put everything on them that the insurance would cover, this included transition lenses. I ended up not being able to wear them because the lenses were to small for me and created a terrible fish bowl effect. So i then picked out another pair and made sure they were similar to my old pair in size and lens material. When I receive my new glasses I ask them if they transition, they informed me that they where not and that I had to tell them to make them transition and couldn’t just say “everything that the insurance covers” (insurance covers transitions by the way). So now I have been waiting patiently for the correct lenses and after over a week I have to call them. They tell me that their Machine is broken and will have to send the lens to an outside maker. Another week goes by and I get my glasses, however they are “transition” but they are the weakest level and provide no protection from the sunlight whatsoever. The staff there failed to mention anything about transition lenses to me (I had to mention it) and most importantly that there are different levels of it, which I had no idea. You have to tell them everything and walk them every baby step of the way. The whole time they seemed very on uninterested in helping me get the glasses I needed, only to sell me something and get me out of there. They will never get another penny from me!

I am new to the Wylie area and I have to say i truly was impressed! I saw Dr. Parks he was thorough and took his time. I have several vision issues and he took the time to review them all. I had been truly frustrated with my vision previously and he was able to totally help me! Thank you Dr. Parks and the Staff here for helping me see!

Dr. Beth Anderson is very interested in patient eye health. She is thorough in her examinations and pays attention to the details of eye health. The staff and associates are all very helpful and very pleasant!! They take the time needed for each eye patient to ensure that their eye exams, corrective lenses and frames are the best suited for each patient.

Unbelievably good customer service, this is the kind of place that other businesses should model themselves after. I came to Wylie Eye Center to get a pair of prescription sunglasses, after I had already obtained my prescription. Every member of the staff was friendly, courteous and eager to help - even when very busy. All associates were knowledgeable and wanted to address my concerns, no one acted burdened or irritated as you unfortunately find at many businesses today.They helped me find the right frame and stepped through entering my VSP insurance to get the best value. I did not have to fill in forms, they did it right then. They took the time to explain each benefit and even when the benefits were exhausted still offered me a discount on my second pair of lenses.Communication has been great, they call when they say they will, text me promptly when my order is ready and follow up to make sure everything is right. Even when I dont speak to the same person they look up my information and get involved to help.I would recommend this optometrist to anyone in the area, I would even drive several miles out of the way to be a patron of these fine people. Wylie Eye Center goes out of their way and above and beyond to provide outstanding customer satisfaction.

I have been going to Dr Parks for years now. He is the best eye doctor I have ever been to, and I have been in glasses or contacts since middle school. Dr Parks also helped me with a significant eye injury several years ago, and again the care was spot on. The staff is friendly, and the facility and equipment always seem clean and well kept. Anyone near Wylie looking for an eye doctor should head to the Wylie Eye Center for their next appointment.

Ive been seeing Dr. Parks for more than 10 years now, met him back in the old Pearle Vision days. He has been my eye doctor from the first day I met him. Yeah, I could tell you about my new glasses or the really nice staff but thats not what you want to hear. I work in the automotive and machine development business, so its not uncommon to get something in your eye, even though I wear glasses. Well its happened more than once, and Dr. Parks is more than willing to see me right away. Its usually small pieces of metal so his staff is very concerned with my eye health. I cant thank them enough for all the time theyve helped me. Their new place in old downtown Wylie is really nice, go check them out sometime, your eyes will thank you.

I wish every eye doctors office was run as efficiently as the Wylie Eye Center. I had to see Dr Anderson yesterday for a pressure check before my next cataract surgery, and mentioned a situation with double vision I had yesterday afternoon. She was seriously concerned, and asked me to contact my cardiologist and my cataract surgeon.My cardiologists office got back with me last night and wants to run some tests before my next cataract surgery. My surgeons office never returned my call last night, although we were told they would. When I called them this morning, I was told to call someone else, and I had to leave a message.Dr Anderson was the first eye doctor that initially gave me a very complete examination for being a first-time patient, and the first eye doctor to diagnose my glaucoma. I would gladly recommend her practice to anyone who was seeking a new eye doctor in Wylie.James Bacher

I ordered a pair of glasses for my son on the 17th of March . The prescription was made at another doctor. The shop said that it would take 7 to 10 days. Its been 2 weeks now. Called in 4 times. Two times, they said the lab was closed and they swore they would get back to me. Two times, they transferred me to the lab who confirmed that the glasses were not ready. Well... So another 2 more days... minimum. Sunday Hoilday... What are the chances I will get the galsses? Did they mess up?They took the money from me in advance, It should have struck me right away. I thought, maybe, it was their policy. I wanted to ask them why. My son was with me. So I did not want to create a scene.It looks like I am the one who is writing the first non- 5 star review... That looks weird. I did not see anything out of the ordinary in terms of customer service. The sad fact is that I tried them because of all the reviews. Well, It IS not a good first experience. God knows when it will become a WAS.

Everything about my visit was great, from the time I made my appointment online to when I picked up my new glasses. Being able to fill out all the medical forms online ahead of time saved a ton of time on the day of my appointment. Dr. Claborn was awesome and had great bedside manners. It is never fun to get your eyes dilated but Dr. Claborn and her staff explained everything in detail and what I should expect. Overall, a very good experience and the entire staff treated me like I was a long time patient, even though this was my first visit to their office. I highly recommend Wylie Eye Center and Dr. Claborn.
