Dr. Schacherer writes the best glasses prescriptions of any optometrist I have ever been to in forty years of wearing glasses. I can see better in glasses I get from him than I could with previous prescriptions. That is why I continue with him for two decades.

I have been using Dr Schacherer for many years and I like his staff but I ordered a 575.00 pair of glasses from him in October 2020 and when I went to pick them up after work (in my paint stained work clothes) I was greeted kindly by a nice lady and called by name and asked to wait while she got my glasses meanwhile schacherer walks thru the lobby and looks at me disgustedly like I was trash that blew in off the street don’t give this guy any more of your hard earned moneySchacherer not everyone can wear a clean set of scrubs to work everyday

Dr. Craig Schacherer provided excellent care and had me outfitted with 2 pairs of new eyeglasses that were perfect in a much shorter time period than my previous ophthalmologist and opticians did with their own lens lab. Very happy with everything, highly recommend!I felt very safe with the COVID infection control measures being taken at the office. Great customer service, and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor is great and helped me when I had horrible allergies and it was showing in my eyes. Overall great experience and great selection of glasses!

Very rude he even went as far as telling us he dont have time to fill out a paper that the school is requesting for my daughter. We even told him ahead of time what this is for . After he seen my daughter he told us to go to Walmart because he dont have time to fill out the paperwork.

The doctor was rude way out of line and still tried to charge my insurance when he did nothing I will never go back to that place

I find it funny that this place is rated so highly when just a few years ago it had horrible reviews. My previous review of this office has disappeared along with the many other reviews that shed light on this place.I have never been talked to the way that this eye Dr. spoke to me. He snapped at me for asking to change the previous slide back so I could see which was clearer. These are my eyes, I can ask to see which slides I want to see.They also tried to sell me vitamins for my eyes. What a total scam that was.I was going to be charged a ridiculous amount of money for a fitting fee for contacts. When I found out the price, the tech rolled her eyes at me.The office was unprofessional and in junky looking strip mall.I also had to fight them to get my husbands glasses, which were taking more than 2 weeks to get back. I told them I was calling the insurance company to cancel the order, they just happen to show up that afternoon.Like I said, I am surprised the other reviews are gone. I’d stay away.

After having Lasik back in 2000, my old eyes started getting a little weak. Actually had gotten a little apprehensive about driving at night. Since it had been so long since my last eye health exam (some kind of scan of the internal workings of the eyeball and the much maligned air puff to the ol eyeball), I decided to set up an appointment at Wylie Eye Care to get checked out.I found Dr. Schacherer and his staff to be very professional and to be truly concerned with my eye health. After the exam I was assisted in selecting my eyeglass frames. There was a very wide selection and I found a pair I like after trying on a few pairs. The hardest part was deciding between three pair that I liked.My new eyeglasses arrived to their office within a week or so and after a few minutes of twisting and tweaking the frame, I had a perfectly fitting and perfectly prescribed pair of eyeglasses!I would highly recommend Dr. Schacherer and his staff to all my friends for their eye care needs.

Horrible service, refusing to help me renew my contract prescription with 1800contacts. Avoid if possible! They dont know Texas state laws and of course want me to come in and spend money there and not with 3rd party suppliers.

Very shady office doctor does not pay his contractors you do work for him to decide if he wants to pay you or not going to run out and I didnt ask for that Im not going to pay for it itll tell you one you want the best work and want it done perfect his office also up charges you for everything the most expensive glasses I ever bought were this year there were
