Went for Sunday brunch had phenomenal service from suzie. The pancake platter was amazing. Pancakes were so fluffy and light(perfectly made). My son had the Belgian waffle sundae with vanilla ice cream and strawberries with caramel, hot fudge and whip cream. Greek gyro was eaten before photo could be taken, but was amazing. We will be back for that. Also got the meat lovers omelette.
The French toast is the best around. No doubt. The potatoes are pretty bland. I highly recommend the French toast platter. Definitely cant go wrong with that. Breakfast all day. Its a diner, so my recommendation is to stick with breakfast foods if you go here.
I really love this place but Im going to have to give it a three after this visit. I didnt even look at the menu because I knew any diner worth its weight would have meatloaf and mashed potatoes. And of course they did. The problem? Worst ever. Theyd be better off being one of the few diners that did not have meatloaf. In their defense, Ive had great breakfast there especially the blueberry pancakes. The staff is always friendly and the facility is clean. Just be sure to avoid the meatloaf.
Went the around 0430 waitress said would U like a menu & coffee? Yes I said. Took her over 15 minutes to get it she was to busy talking with the guys. Finally she only comes over with coffee & water. I told her to scrap the menu. Ill take scramble eggs & bacon. In the meantime she comes over with the coffee pot pours the coffee & some of it goes on the table & cup. Then she brings my food. I said to her I didnt order this. It was eggs that were Im thinking over easy which were all broken, potatoes, & toast. She said OMG they belong to someone else. Go ahead & eat that & Ill pickup your tab. I said you dont have to but now Im pressed for time. I only ate 2 of the bacon which Im assuming it was Turkey bacon & Took a small bite of those runny eggs which Im not crazy about. Now Im getting ready to leave & theyre telling me my bill is $11.00 & some change. I paid for it but I wasnt happy with the service. I will not return if she is there. I normally am not critical, but this morning I am. Their food there is normally good. She need to take a pill & chill! Brush up on her waitress skills!!@
Worst service ever. Had to ask for silverware right when food was served. Never asked until last minute if we were okay. Waited forever to take order. Where is JJ? Hes bomb. Fantastic server.
The staff are very friendly, orders are always accurate, and the quality of food for the price you pay is well worth it. Wait times are usually low, and it doesnt take them long to get your food to your table. Best diner in the York area by far!
We visited on a Sunday early afternoon. It was pretty busy, but we were sat immediately. The menu was extensive as most diners. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I had the seafood chowder and it was delicious. I also had the greek broiled salmon.....my only complaints are the size and amount of feta and the olives werent pitted. Other than those two things the food was really good. The price point is good as well.
York only local 24 hr spot year around. They only get business because of this and also because the locals have no clue what good diner food is. My experience no taste what so ever, Ive ordered everything breakfast, brunch, lunch, you name it. Taste quality is poor. Service can be great depending on.....Hey if your hungry why not? But if your looking for great signature diner food forget about it. Trust me Im a foodie and I hate when it gets too late and I have to eat here.
Quick service and quite nice food here. The restaurant itself is decorated in a modern fashion, which is rather uncommon for a diner, but neat nonetheless.

My go to restaurant in York. Friendly staff & good home style food. They are always open & super affordable. My favorite it the pot pie. They stayed open for us through the pandemic too so highly respectable owners.
We only had dessert here, but it was pretty good! Service was on point and our food came out quick. Its really chilly in there, but I feel that way in most diners for some reason. Bathrooms were pretty clean and the restaurant seemed pretty clean too

Great quality of food, service is most of the time good but if it is bad the food is worth it. It was always AMAZING food. Prices are reasonable and you can tell the quality of the food is amazing. Salad is good, so is the dressing, dessert is good. Food is always warm. Kind employees!

Some items on the menu is great other is not so much. Customer service here is the worst. They choose the order in which they serve there customers. I went on 4 different occasions and the first time I got seated in the back of the restaurant. They provided me with the wrong order. The other 3 times I did a call in and when I got there I had to wait in line behind ppl who havent even made it in the store yet to pick up my order. Which was wrong 🙄
Best diner in york. Period. Food comes out fast even when packed. They were smart and defied the tyrant tom wolf and for that they’ve earned my business for life. Great selection of food both breakfast and non breakfast hours. Staff is friendly and energetic.
Our family of 7 went in Friday night since it was late and other restaurants had over an hour wait. Boy, we were glad we did. The food and service was great. We enjoyed it so much, we went back Saturday night. Another wonderful meal and very accommodating waitress.

I try and visit the restaurant as often as I can. The food is good, fairly priced, and typically good service. This visit was the same as always with the exception of, it was a little busier than normal for an early Monday morning (12:45am). The waitress (Elizabeth) was doing the best she could with as busy as they were. I appreciate her taking her time and assuring everything was on point. This is a great restaurant that I would recommend stopping at if you have the chance.
This is the true definition of American Diner, great old fashioned American grub, awesome customer service. I swear the servers are everyones best friend I felt jealous that I didnt have such a good friendship with them, so Im going to try and my rounds more often. The food is just as satisfying as the service just a great experience all around (the Clock).

This diner was EXCELLENT. We were greeted & seated within 15 seconds of entering. Our server came to greet & offer drinks very soon after we sat down. We were given ample time to view the menu.We ordered Hot Turkey Sandwich & a Cheeseburger with all the good stuff. The meal was FANTASTIC!!!We would not only make a return visit, but also HIGHLY RECOMMEND this diner for an extremely EXCELLENT meal and dining experience.

Great little dinner with large menu and friendly service. Being on the road I go out to eat A LOT, and get tired of ordering the same food, so I spiced things up and asked the waiting staff to surprise me and let them choose my meal.. The staff was great and played along. I ended up being served the gyro, which I would have never order on my own, but it was really good, big thanks to Olivia for the selection.

Apparently waitresses in here would rather ifnore customers and hang out with their friends at a table than serve their customers. My food was places on the kitchen shelf 14 mins ago. My waiter has been sitting at a booth chatting with her friends who came in this whole time while my food is aitting there getting cold. Update: after 20 mins of being ifnored I walked out. Thx for the free soda pop!
I have been eating here for over 30 yrs now. The food has always stayed the same quality. Home made taste without all the work. I love the chicken. Half the time I go there thats what I get. (I get 4 pieces and take 2 or 3 pieces home). 1 piece and the sides are enough to fill me.
Round the Clock diner has impeccable service as they are speedy, kind, and incredibly personable! The quantity of food you get for the amount you pay is great as well as the quality is wonderful! My entire dining experience was fantastic. Im so thankful for being able to go, sit-down, and get treated like a human. Im very proud of this business for standing up for the proper government, the constitution, and not allowing fear to overcome them. Round the Clock is clean and inviting for all guests. I will continue to support them, eating their as often as possible, and I recommend you do the same!

Nice place for home style cooking. Quick and courteous service. Had liver and onions which were really good. Cant get that at home! Had a nice looking selection of cakes and pies which we unfortunately did not try. Price was very reasonable. Would go again and order dessert first!

Was disappointed that they had no tuna left. an had to settle for a chicken salad sandwich instead of my tuna melt. But my chicken salad sandwich was still good and there chicken strips were the BEST my boyfriend an I have ever tasted they were VERY moist!!!

Well the food was decent the honest rating is 3 stars. The food was good but not great. Another factor in these modern times is that you really need to add another star because they are actually open when every other place closes at 8PM it seems these days.

Throughout the past year Ive had a lot of restaurants treat me more like a hospital patient than a customer. Round the Clock diner is not one of those businesses, and thats become an important factor to me in deciding where I want to take my business. I want to frequent establishments that treat me like a paying customer and dont burden me with arbitrary, pointless medical theater. Beyond that - fast service, decent prices, okay food.
The service is always great. The food isnt fabulous but the pies are. Strawberry pie is my favorite. Gyro is decent there too.

Breakfast is amazing however, the crab cakes are horrible 😫. Every bite of the crab cake was a shell and it was over cooked very mushy.I will suggest the boil platter without the crab cake and all things breakfast!Its up to your discretion, servers are super friendly and very kind.
