I just wanted to give a kiddos to all the employees at the York, PA (Market St.) store. From walking in, to shopping, checking out and loading items… everyone was awesome. The store is very clean and pleasant to shop at. Dan the assistant manager went above and beyond for an item. My father seems to feel he can get good deals here and so far have always had what he wanted in stock.

Came in looking for a item saw the manager asked him to see if they had it in the back waited 20 min decided to buy a alternative product and ran into the manager that should have been helping me and was told that he forgot about me and that they didnt have the product I was looking for. My question is if you forgot about me waiting for you to return, did you forget about the item I was looking for too?

Good spot. This place has changed a great deal over the past years. All good. Higher quality. Place was clean and stocked well.

I love this place and shop here often but, they are very short staffed. Most of the people are fairly intelligent and will have a general knowledge of what you are looking for and if they have it.Hire more people for the afternoon to evening shifts, please!

Went to Dollar General beside this HF location. Sorry! Harbor Freight comes in handy for inexpensive hand tools when I need things.

Pretty good tools, a bit pricey but reliable!

I have been shopping at this location since it first opened in York Pennsylvania years ago. I have always had a positive experience at this location year after year. If you have a problem with any purchased items, the manager at this location has always been professional and quick to replace the items and professionally resolve any issues. The staff is always willing to assist with whatever you need and answer your questions and point you in the right direction. I have also shopped numerous locations across the country. The stores offer a wide range of quality items which are always reasonably priced. Ive never had an issue finding anything I needed to complete a project at any location nationwide. This is definitely a great chain and of good benefit to both the home owner and commercial contractors alike. York Pennsylvania Harbor Freight is a good location offering quality service! I highly recommend this location!

What can you say, it is a nort HF location. Friendly staff and a clean store. Seemed to be well stocked.

This is actually a great place for teachers. I have used moving dollies for direct carts, they sell ear protectors very cheap, color coded key rings for student lockers. If you think outside the box you can use so much for your class the black things on teachers carts are meant for garage use but make a great sanitation station

I dont usually shop at Harbor Freight. I needed an affordable tile saw and Home Depot and Lowes were both out of mid-range models so when google pulled up Harbor Freight, I went for it. I purchased a wet saw, set it up and from the start it was chipping every tile. I realized there was an issue with the table being unlevel. They let me exchange the saw and were extremely apologetic and friendly. Top notch customer service.

Good sale going on today but not overcrowded. Shelves were full of stock.

Found what I was looking for plus excellent customer service. I had to come by twice in one day. I experienced both shifts of employees. Each shift was just as friendly and willing to help.

Ive been dealing with this York Pa. Harbor Freight store for years. Recently had to make a return of a Generator that by no fault of theirs had been sold as just an open box. The previous customer was not forthright with the return . It had been gassed up an run . I made a call spoke to assistant mgr Dan. He returned the used generator and gave me a brand new replacement generator. If you have to go to a Harbor Freight make the York store a first consideration. Great friendly staff. Nice job to all envolved.!! Thank you.

Store was busy and I couldnt find some of the Icon tools I came in for... Store manager went into the back found two of the three items I was looking for and let me know when the other was coming in. She was a huge help. Great job.

Horrible paid warranties as it only can be used 1 time. Hand tools have an excellent warranty for life. Most tools are decent but the giveaways are pretty well gone . 20 per cent coupons have more restrictions than ever. The reasons I went are gone and use Amazon or Ebay now.

Had exactly what I needed.

Just came from my local store, wanted to buy a small air compressor advertised for$ 39.99. Sale ends tomorrow 10-31 but price is now $54.99. Asked for assistance but the kid at the register couldnt be bothered. What a waste of my time.

Good for what it is. Most items made in China. Pricing is low...quality on most is average. However, there are some gems. Aluminum pipe wrenches, plumbing bladders, disposable gloves, canvas bags, scaffold and drywall lift have all been great buys for our company.

To the people that are writing about the problem of the lines... this is because of harbor freight protocol for the employees to ask each customer their phone number and this is for return purposes, not standing up for HF as i am an Ex employee to the east york store, i tried my best to get people in and out because no one wants to stand in line for an extended period of time so i refused to ask for phone numbers, this resulted in my termination as it made the stores numbers look bad, good prices and good people but the district managers are the problem here, Loved the positive review about my performance when i was there! thank you!

Good cheap tools

This is defiantly a MAN STORE! Love it!

Great place carries almost every tool an accessory. Only reason I give four stars instead of five is because there is never enough people on register. Normally only one person on register and the line and the wait are ridiculous. Otherwise Harbor Freight is a great place with friendly knowledgeable staff. Start putting more people on register and I will give five stars.

Great selection of tools. Only two staff working on a Saturday morning. Line was 20 people deep. A couple of people came to the front of store, saw the line and left there items on the empty checkout lanes and left. Waited a bit for them to bring out the press we bought. Staff were friendly and patient with customers.

This place always has great deals. The coupons for free things make it even better. I love using them for the free 24 pack of batteries. I mean who cant use batteries? They let you combine coupons also which a lot of places will not. Their sales associates have always been very helpful when I have been there shopping.

My husband loves this store. When we go there hes like a little kid in a candy shop! Great prices and its nice they do the lifetime warranty on some of there tools...some things here are kinda chinsy but for the most part its a great deal!

What can you say about Harbor Freight? Their tools generally arent as nice (or in some cases as durable) as big name brands. But they sell them cheaply enough that if you get a bad one, youve saved enough to return it and buy the step-up model, or just swap out the bad one--I shop there fairly often and Ive had to return tools there about a half dozen times, never once had a hassle with an exchange. I think their quality is getting better these days--about a year ago I rebuilt part of a house with a cordless driver I got from there, which was far and away more work than it was designed to do, and that thing still works today. Probably the best 20 bucks I ever spent. Work hard, shop cheap, have fun.

They never answer their phone they cant take 30 seconds to pick up the phone and say hello instead waiting on customers at the register and never picking up the phone service has been this way for 2 years plus

Love this store, they rarely dont have what Im looking for. Even had the security T3 torx screw set for gaming devices.

You cant beat the prices and if something from the company Pittsburgh breaks they will replace it, no questions asked everytime as many times. Oh, and half the store is made by Pittsburgh/lifetime warranty.
