This Goodwill is by far one of the best I’ve personally been in. It’s clean, organized and divided properly by sections. Items are at accessible prices and they’ve been having 50% off days for many items in store on Fridays.Book section is organized impressively, like an actual little bookstore—which is awesome when you’re trying to find a certain genre.

As clean as you can get. Nice store, nice people. I was able to buy our teenage daughter 115. dollars worth of clothes, 3 pairs of shorts, 4 pairs of jeans, 3 dresses, 1 skirt, 10 shirts and 3 sweatshirts and 4 button up sweaters! Everything was clean, had no rips. Name brand clothes, every one!

Really beautiful set up and lots of wares. I had some weird interactions with the employees but I’m sure they were having a rough day as they were swamped. Please be nice to your local goodwill employees! They are doing their best.

They had a sign posted in front of their store stating that everything was 50% off today. At the register they said “Oh, that was yesterday.” There was no date written on the sign, but they refused to offer the discount. Another customer was checking out at the same time that I was and was also upset. I heard the cashier yell at her that they were not allowed to honor the discount. It was their mistake and the honest thing to do would have been to honor the discount for everyone currently in the store who had been deceived. I’m incredibly disappointed with their customer service.

Staff not helpful at all with taking large donations. When I got there I was told to sort everything out to put it into bins while the same person took other peoples donations and placed them in boxes.Then when I was asking if they could take the boxes away I was told that they would not take any boxes away, which was terrible because I had come all the way from jackson michigan.I will never donate anything to this goodwill ever again! Poor service and no people skills!

I like this place but in past 2 months I noticed there’s not a lot of name brand things being brought on the floor. I think the co workers is definitely taking a lot of those nice things. I recall when my 3 sisters and I donated I went in the same week a lot of new stuff they donated was gone fast. Even the same day. Kind of strange. Still happy they chance their policy. Because a lot of clothes was being donated and the workers was keeping them to their self.

Half the store is racks of womens clothes and theres two racks for mens clothes, not a very good selection either. When we checked out,the cashier was very rude to us.

I also have gone multiple times and missed the window of donations. Then when I got it right, they took half the items. Waste of time and effort to go to this location. I have had better luck with other Goodwill locations. I will give Salvation Army a try today.

One very old man slowly picked through my boxes instead of actually taking things. Three more employees came out to watch and smoke, but never thought about helping. All of them had masks around their chins and one of them got right in my face while telling me what I couldnt donate. I had to take everything out myself, no one actually did their job, and everyone I talked to was rude. Dont go here, donate to the Ann Arbor PTO instead.

Very rude at donation center. Wont take items with 4 people there doing nothing. Said it was too early for donations even though the store was open. No hours posted for donations. See several reviews with the same issue. Ill avoid Goodwill for now on after this experience.

Attempting to make a donation twice now. Google does not say what time they take donations. I came on a Saturday- they said it was too late and to come back Monday. Came back on Monday, they said it was too early (29 min to be specific). I’m over 40 weeks pregnant and absolutely livid they wouldn’t make an exception. Will never donate again. They were like, you can wait in a chair - it was raining and cold outside.

Its nice used stuff for cheap

If you have stuff to donate, take it to Salvation Army. We have tried to donate items here twice in the last 6 months. The first time we donated based on experience of what we have donated at other locations in the past and the rejected half of our items because they apparently dont accept them, the donation attendant was incredibly rude, but told us they have a list online of what we can and cant donate. When I checked the list it showed that they rejected items they supposedly can accept.. Went back just last week, using the list on THEIR website as a guide even told them we had looked before coming, their response was to blame their corporate office saying that the list wasnt correct, not a good look. Even called the manager to see what we needed to do to find out what we can bring in and she said the same thing, blaming corporate, then mentioned that they have a list in the store of what that specific store will take, we made two trips and were never given this list, I even asked her how we can get this list without coming back and she said we cant. They still they rejected most of our items, asked my fiancé to unpack the boxes in their pull thru so that they could pick through them. He just left instead, took the exact same car load of stuff to Salvation Army where the donation attendants were polite and took everything we brought. Will never donate at this location, or probably any Goodwill going forward. Not sure how they stay in business treating people trying to make large donations or mostly new or barely used items with way.

Wont answer the phone. The 2 employees sitting outside doing absolutely nothing told me they are not allowed to answer the phone.Also to save anybody the trip, they are open, but only accepting clothes. No plastic, no books. Would be awesome if you could call them and find this out before driving for 30 minutes but hey then I wouldnt get to write this review.

So many un-priced items. Nearly half of non standard priced items were unmarked. Very difficult to budget a fun quick trip with the kids when ever other item has no price and some of those items are not even in the system yet when you ask the cashier to check.*****To clarify, THIS Goodwill location had so many more unpriced items than any Goodwill location I have ever been to before. Not disparaging Goodwill or their mission. Frustrated with the lack of marked prices at this location.

This place used to be good shopping a few years ago, but now the way its managed is just ridiculous. I will not go there again. Tried to return something within the time frame and with receipt that cashier would not accept. I just left it there. Overpriced junk and bad clothing.

It is very clean and beautiful inside. However, I had to wait in line with my one item while someone ahead of me spent more than $100. Another cashier could have helped out. Terrible customer service.

Review of Donation Drop Off Only: The process to donate items was super easy. There is a drive thru to the left of the store and when you drive up during business hours someone comes out with a cart to unload the items in your car. You can also request a receipt and they quickly add your name in the system and print it out.

Be aware that although the Website says they will accept donations of books, they will not. Also, clothing must be in plastic bags or it will not be accepted.

I just went into the store, and there was four people without face masks on. I have complained before to corporate about the store but I guess it must be okay with the local management guess it is okay with the local management

Angela and Jason were both amazing! This place exists to honor God, by providing high-quality low-cost goods, helping train people really in need for nice jobs, and also by giving great customer service. I got a dress shirt here for under $5! I also donated at the back. I love how easy it is to walk inside, how they play some nice music, and also how they stock a range of items. 5 stars for sure.

Great place descent prices

Not the biggest thrift store but definitely the best value. Loved their 25% off coupon idea on the back of one of the Kroger stores shopping receipts. Sadly that has ended so the value end is somewhat hurt. This Goodwill is easily the best and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Closest area place for me to donate items. Donation opens at 08:00 and closes at 20:00. The drive up donation drop-off area is covered, unloading was very easy and a woman showed up within 30 seconds of my arrival, with a hauling cart. Quickly printed out my donation receipt and I was on my way. Well organized for accepting donations.

This Goodwill is pretty standard, nothing that stands out much, the selection most times has just enough of what youre looking for or may be out of stock at that time. The staff is nice and havent had any issues from the few times Ive been here. Changing rooms are helpful and there hasnt been a wait for one any time Ive gone.

I have visited a few times now. This is very clean & organized. I love that on the weekends the color of the week is only a buck! The staff is very friendly making it a great experience. Yesterday I dropped off a lot of donations and the area was overflowing.

They wont accept the most random stuff when we try to donate it and theyll throw it out if they dont want it. They wouldnt take BOARD GAMES. The most basic thing. Some of which we literally bought AT THIS BRANCH years ago. Why? They said because kids come in the store and wreck them. What?

Remember its used clothing, why they are priced past 5 dollars for a kids shirt that should be a cleaning rag does not make sense to me. Also it seems to depend on the time and day that you may get someone to actually stop and help you.

A little better than the usual second hand store. Real carpet in some places, well organised shelves. Lots of the usual, books, a few toys, lots of pretty good quality clothes.

The clothes here are VERY disorganized. They should just take those S-M-L-XL markers off the racks because they are deceptive. And not just the rack sections, but the tags they stick on (like price tags, but the store writes the size) you have to ignore too, because those are also frequently wrong. They are sort of organized by item type, but even that is not well sorted. So basically, just wander through the aisles, looking for something that catches your eye... they do have fitting rooms at least.

There were some very good buys here and a good selection, compared to the Downriver stores by our house. The staff was helpful and polite, as well. The half off coupon we had let us get a bundle for our money this trip, so look for them in the local paper, etc.

Love love love! I was a bit confused by the donation area but thats because I didnt pay attention to the huge drive up and drop off area to the left of the building. The guy at the counter was very kind as he took the time to explain and sign me up for a rewards program, that you get from simply donating clothes.Even the woman who came out to the drive thru was very kind. She gave me a receipt for my donation, complimented my weight loss as she noticed all the clothes in my bag were huge. Good clean smelling place, not like a used clothing store at all.

Had a question about the mens nightwear. A young lady who was hanging up clothes was really shy, but was friendly and did the best she could to help me out. Ive also noticed how disorganized and messy some of the aisles were.

If i could put 0 stars i would. This goodwill is very unorganized and also have things for sale that are not completeI bought a cd thinking the cd was inside. Still sealed, unopened and when i brought it home, no cd was in there.

It was great when it first opened, but now its like most Goodwill stores, disorganized and lots of broken items. I rarely find anything there, but every now and then you can still find something. Women do better at these stores as women recycle clothes more than men. Mens clothing is usually very dated, very worn or the wrong size.

As of 2/5/20 : About 40% of the items werent marked with prices. I had the pleasure of waiting at the check out counter for almost 10 minutes, and ringing the bell for service 4 times. FINALLY, someone showed up from the back, I was turning around to leave the store in frustration (as I hadnt actually seen an employee in the whole 40 minutes I was there) someone came from the back. No apologies, and she seemed very upset to be working.

The first time I came here I was impressed by the selection, cleanliness and prices(the goodwill near me marks things up considerably). The second time, the store was very messy, but it was close to 7pm, so thats understandable.

I made a donation on Friday, Dec. 15th in the morning and the person manning the drop off was the rudest and laziest person I’ve ever interacted with at a charitable organization. I actually had several more rounds of drop offs to do but decided to drive further to a different organization because of this experience.

Good selection of products at great prices. Condition of products is also consistently good.

So happy to have a thrift store where you can actually try on the clothes in a nice fitting room.

Clothes are very unorganized. I saw many items of clothing that were either tagged with the incorrect size or in the wrong place or both! The first couple I shrugged off as customers putting clothes back in the wrong places, but then I found out the whole store was that way!

Visiting Ypsilanti and so glad that store was built. The store was very clean and wide aisles for carts.So glad i could spend $102. there today. My patient husband had a nice couch to sit on while waiting for me to finish.Quite a few categories of clothes were misplaced in several places in the store...ie: mens sports pants were found in shorts, pajamas, suit pants and womens sports areas. The staff seemed very small which could account for poorer quality control of merchandise displays. I will return.

The one employee working (there were kids stocking but I dont think they were official employees) was very nice and accomadating. However the mens clothing was chaos. The only organization was that pants and shorts werent mixed in with shirts but the shirts were a mess. No organization by size or type just all thrown on a rack so I had to rifle thru everything on the off chance my size was where it wasnt supposed to be. Also whoever is labeling the sizes on the mens dress shirts needs to learn what those numbers correlate to!

I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, the prices are great if you are not wanting to pay full price and dont mind previously owned clothing and or household items. Sime of the clothing was in the wrong place or size, but that happens at Macys, Von Maur, Target and all other stores. Customers dont always put items back where they belong. So, its no big deal! Just keep looking. My grandsons are growing so fast and they barely wear or ware out there clothes before they are too small. I picked up several pieces of clothing (mix and matched) and some pajamas. It works for me and it was just right for them. I also donated approximately 8 boxes of womens and mens clothing, shoes, boots, and lots of miscellaneous household items a few days later. I pulled up to the drop off and was greeted by a pleasant woman within a minute. We unloaded everything, I received a receipt and off I went. So easy! I have been back since and will continue to drop in and donate too.
