Idk who manages your prices but theyre forgetting this is a thrift store...$40 used winter coats and boots??I think you dont understand people come here because WE CANNOT AFFORD NEW CLOTHES its not even a fair price with the stupid coupons. This is only a Michigan problem too out of state all thrift stores are cheap and I can buy clothes for a season without going broke.At this point I think Id rather just shop on Depop then waste my time sifting through the mens clothes and finding anything in my size now double or triple the price.Also I see no quality of life improvements to your store or the employees you pay... pretty greedy scalping name brand clothing you get DONATED TO YOU FOR FREE!!!

The prices have doubled so its important to sign up, just by entering your phone number and email. You will get 50 percent off coupons and notifications of sales only that way. Those coupons bring the prices back down to normal.

O.k. not very crowded but the help wasnt at all helpful. Very lazy at the checkout. (men/boys) woman are always pleasant and helpful..

Ive loved Value World for decades, having snagged awesome deals again and again (like all my favorite boots and leather jackets, for instance). Theyve recently upgraded so they are both cleaner and more modern.Their people are always friendly and their clothes are always clean and reasonably well organized but now they also have Square at the registers in sleek touchscreen instead of the antiquated registers and old card readers that looked like old pagers in disguise.Huge improvement there for the feel of the place and although its still the same dated space it does feel cleaner and more comfortable. Love it there!

I was buying dresses at the Ypsilanti Value World and was not given the 50% off discount that was happening today for all womens dresses. When I brought this to their attention the manager in charge was very rude and unapologetic about it. He made it known that it was inconvenience to his day. When I asked if I could get a refund to my card he said that the only way was through a store credit. Which he then wrote on a piece of scrap paper and signed his name. It seemed as though there was a way to issue a refund to my card it was just too time consuming for him to deal with. I think it is unfortunate that I am out $11.00 for a mistake that I did not make.

If price is the only thing you care about you found the right spot. If you care about cleanliness or organization Id recommend elsewhere.

Everything was is in medium and Im a plus size guy so I couldnt get anything that was there but there was still pretty cool clothes if you fit medium and lower

Awesome selection, clean store, great pricing the staff is nice, the manager is great.

Pay close attention to your purchases. Cashier charge extra money for items that are priced differently. Was charged 40.40 for an item that was 4.40! Luckily it was half off. But, still paid $20 extra

I could hardly shop because the racks were so full you couldnt get items out.

If your looking for used clothes, this is a good place to shop. You will find brand names and most are in good shape.The clothes are arranged by color not size.The major drawback is that there are NO dressing rooms. You really need to know your size/ measurements.

This store has a history of being unkept. Aisles with store items on the floor. Shelves that are cluttered and unorganized. And now, rude employees. I will simply take my money to their competition of which there are many. I will also file a complaint with the BBB for the way I was treated today.

A huge selection and very friendly staff. You do have to do some digging, but I always find some treasures for great prices! Thanks guys keep up the good work!

I have been to several value worlds to get a good deal on kids clothes. In the last year, the price for kids clothes has doubled and the quality of the material and clothes are low. This faded hello kitty sweatshirt is $4 and these boots have uneven heels and are almost $10. This is unacceptable for the price this company charge. If this company keeps increasing its prices and not offering 50% coupons throughout the year, they will be out of business

I always find really good clothing items. I have been shopping here for a long time and have noticed that their prices keep increasing every time I visit which is very inconvenient since this is supposed to be a more affordable store.

I always find the coolest things here! For really cheap and the workers are usually pretty helpful. Only reason for 4 stars is because its a bit cluttered every time I go in. And sometimes they have things that probably should have just been thrown away.They did introduce a clearance rack and its pretty great. I got a few dresses for 75¢ the other day.

Always find deals at Value world. My co workers might think my husband is the richest husband in the world because I always dress up chic. I missed the Ann arbor one in the beginning of its closure, but I found out I could always count on Value world to find even a last minute schedule.....I love it.

Stopped in to grab some play clothes for the grandkids. Prices were very scattered. Some items were priced as expected but many items are way overpriced. You can get brand new on the store sale racks cheaper than stained or worn out here. I also made the mistake of picking up a unpriced item to find out that you cant buy until you go to back to have priced. The person that does that wasnt available so I was told to come back tomorrow. NOT HAPPENING

I love this value world. Good buys on some nice items. You have to go through some stuff to find some hidden gems, but I enjoy it. Everyone is always friendly when I go in. I dont mind the mess for the great prices.

I generally love what I leave here with but I have to be sure to come hydrated! Im getting better at navigating the store now that I have experience but it is not an easy feat. There is some level of semblance but I struggle to find appropriate sections of the store when looking for specific items. I think they could benefit from better signage. I wont stop going there regardless!

I have always been a fan of Value World, especially when they send out 50% off coupons. If you dont want to wait in line (which you probably will no matter what) do not go in the evening or on the last day that the coupon is valid. Be ready to spend some time going through the racks, but it is completely worth it! You wont be able to create a new wardrobe there, but you will find those perfect pieces and accessories that will make you YOU. Besides womens, mens, and kids clothing they also have housewares, linens, books (including cookbooks), coats, vinyl (occasionally), jewelry, hats, shoes, special event dresses (and sometimes even wedding gowns!), toys, yarn (sometimes), purses and bags, and hats!hats!hats! When I was an undergrad at EMU over 20 years ago I even bought a pleather chair! If it can be donated, you can buy it! My only wish is that I didnt have to wait in line so long.

Treasure trove for clothing and costumes. Ive found beautiful full length leather trench coats for $10 and authentic Indian silks for less. Check more than one section. Its a big store.

Went to grab a pair of shoes really quickly. Prices are getting ridiculous. The lady in front of me was struggling to pay. She had a picture that was marked $1.94. The cashier said it was originally marked as $5.94, and charged her that price. I asked the cashier if she herself, specifically marked the price and she said no. She should have sold it for the price marked or not at all. Instead she made a decision to charge $4 more than what was marked. I wonder if that went in her pocket. Very unprofessional and rude. I used to love Value World, but it kills me to see how much the prices have gone up.

It was a well lit venue, but the store was very run down (leakey roof and buckets placed everywhere), a bit disorganized and very clustered. Surprisingly, the shelves were not stocked in some parts of the store. The staff was very friendly.Overall, 3/5 stars

Dont ever work for this company or these people. Their management training program is a joke, and the money isnt worth the soul-crushing reality of their depending on desperate, minimum wage labor to sustain their business model.

This stuff is donation.... to help less fortunate, get on their feet, help someone get a job by getting something nice for cheap, HOWEVER this place prices items as if the staff take some sort of cut off top.... VERY disgusted with this community rip off

I had never been to this location and it was okay. Its semi organized and we found a lot of awesome clothes. I just would have liked more size markers on the racks.

Unfortunately have to give 2 stars because as of 2019 they have raised their prices, some. Items almost same as mall prices. Will not be going again. What’s the point of a thrift store if u price items so high?

They have a half off coupon, but it excludes shoes. And to get the senior citizens discount, you have to be 60 years old. This is ridiculous!! Also if anything is marked down its also excluded from the half off coupon. Rude, dirty. No fitting rooms. Will shop at Salvation army or Goodwill from now on. Its a shame, because its supposed to help our veterans.

I love it here. Its small but the workers are always nice, the clothes are usually in good shape and organized. Most of all its cheap! The shoes are really where you find gold though I found my son a pair of $30 toddler sandles for $2.

This Value World has A LOT of stuff! It is organized better than most. Everything there was well priced. Will be going back frequently.

No dressing rooms, so I really dont look at the clothes much, just the home stuff. Prices are pretty hit or miss... Ive gotten some good deals, but Ive also seen ridiculously overpriced things. Also, they have a sign about half off a tag color (yellow today), but everything seems to be a white tag or just written right on the item... not sure how that system works

Its a thrift store, so do not expect a Macys when you go in, but they had a decent selection of clothing in an assortment of sizes. The merchandise area was a bit of a shambles, but I kind of expected that. Found some decent clothing at good prices to take home and had a 50% off coupon to boot. If I didnt have the coupon I would have felt like I overpaid though.

If I could I would give it no stars.Whomsoever price the items are ridiculous the prices are extemly high I understand the store has to make money but come on where thrifting.I stop coming to this location and now I shop at the other Value World Taylor and Westland prices are better and much cleaner.

My wife and I visited Value World looking for a dress for her. Not only did we find a dress for cheap, but we also found some other items!The staff is friendly and always willing to help you find something.

Found some great items when I was here a few weeks ago. I dont have a ton of experience with thrift stores, so I dont know how it compares, but I was able to find what I was looking for (several high-quality, great condition sweaters, tops, and skirts) for great prices.

I love this store and have for years but seemingly around September 1 their prices have jumped way up. Thing I used to buy for 2.92 are now priced at 9.99 and at those prices, its soooo not worth it. I dont want to see Value World become Overvalued World.

Bunch of crap, old electronics, warn warm out closthes, shoes and dishware. Not really the best resale store in the area, Ann Arbor has a bunch of nicer ones. The store seemed clean and nice from the outside, but it was really messy inside, also they mainly sell womens and childrens clothes.

Look, its a thrift store. I find good stuff here and have fun searching. If you are lucky you will see people fighting over a fur coat.

Super busy crowded and messy oh and way overpriced. If you want a really good thrift store to go to there is one in downtown Ypsilanti on Washington Street go there and the ladies there are volunteers so it goes to a good cause instead of some persons pocket put your money back into the community!!!!!

Smallish (convenience store sized) space is crammed with clothing and many bargains that Value World is famous for. Much less shoes, tech, household and toys than Ecorse location, which is easily 3 times the size of this one.

Christmas deals for decorating, but tree prices are way too high! $40-60, their used, not new! Come on value world! You are serving mostly the low income households, right now, a new tree is $15-20 at Family Dollar!

This place is extremely chaotic. But the staff is nice and I found sleds for the kids. 😊

Nothing is ever marked for price. Not very organized. The workers seems to have a problem with you if you ask them for help, or gives you attitude. Children are running all around the place with no supervision. The only thing I like is the prices.

This store sells a lot of used merchandise. Theres a large selection of DVDs, games, and books when you walk in. Plenty of clothing for all ages - all color/fabric coordinated. The back wall has toys for the children as well as some home appliances. Im the proud owner of a $2 toaster now.

Lots of clothes, jackets, shoes, house wares (clean). For every type person. Great prices. Lots of parking.
