Our recent experience with Northport Flooring was fantastic. They went out of their way to handle a last second reduction so that it wouldnt end up costing us more. Then, when we saw the carpeting being installed and how great it looked, they understood when we changed our mind back to the original plan. The installers, Manuel and his partner, (sorry, cant remember his name), were personable, professional, and did a wonderful job. It was a joy to have them in our home. A wonderful experience and were thrilled with our new carpeting. Thanks.

I was thoroughly impressed with Harold and the team at Northport. He guided me to make selections for carpet, laminate, and ceramic tile flooring in my new home. He also helped me select tiles for kitchen back splashes and two custom showers. Very thorough product knowledge and he made sure I stayed within my budget. Highly recommend and I will certainly shop here again.

I would like to personally thank Brian Musci, at Northpoint flooring for making both of out carpet installs so easy and pain free. He was so very helpful. He didnt pressure us, and he came to our home personally to measure and get a lay of the land on which they would be installing. They were professional, on time; and finished when they said they would. The end product, was nothing short of perfection. We will always go see Brian when we need new flooring.

I have been here twice. Once I spoke with a guy who seemed like he was the owner but honestly seemed to know very little about the different carpet brands. The second time I spoke with Amanda and she seems very knowledgeable about carpet and the brands they offer. Unfortunately I set up an appointment which was over a week away as that was the earliest she could come out to measure. I told her I respect other people’s time and I would let her know if the time did not work. I confirmed with my tenants that they would be there for her specific time and date. They were good so I left the appointment the same. I then called to confirm appointment the day before and she said she canceled my appointment. I specifically stated that I would call her if the time did not work. Why would she not call me to double check and instead just delete me from the schedule. I was o my getting a room and staircase done in lower quality carpet as she mentioned. So I guess I was not an important customer for her. I would not recommend this company for many reasons. Sad as I prefer to buy local from independently owned. Just no customer service here.

Very helpful, needed some advice. Great customer service. But my dog seemed to love his dog! First time I seen my.dog want to play!

I was very pleased with my entire experience with Northport. The salesman I dealt with (by phone and email only) was knowledgeable and easy to work with. The installers were prompt and professional. Im very pleased with the results. They were even accommodating when I neglected to pay off the balance due for a couple of months because I kept forgetting about it.

I cannot recommend highly enough the great customer service Kelly Clemente provided us. Her level of professionalism, follow-up and overall customer service makes us loyal Northport Flooring America customers for life (we are repeat customers, but this was our first encounter with Kelly). She went above and beyond in helping us find the perfect carpet, coordinating the sale and making sure we are 110% happy at its completion. I wish there were more than just 5 stars to give!!! :)

Great service, great follow-up without being pushy. Brent was so easy to work with and so helpful and gave us a great price. The carpet is gorgeous and I couldnt be happier.

Stopped in to get some carpet for my apartment, not an employee in sight. After about 10 minutes of browsing I attracted the attention from someone in the back and left shortly thereafter with a decided carpet choice and approximate date for measurement. After 2 days I get a call from a woman telling me the guy that helped me (and would be the one to come out and measure) left for vacation and would not be able to come out until next week. Why am I not able to provide accurate measurement and have carpet ordered for me? We have been waiting over a month already for carpet and to add another week was a kick in the head. I will most likely shop elsewhere.

We have had a few rooms where we put in hardwood floors. The employees are fantastic and the work is beautiful. Brent went out of his way to make everything right. Such an easy and well worth it experience.

I worked with Harold to choose flooring and tile selections for the home we were building. He was kind, patient, and always prepared for my visit. He was helpful with suggestions on how to save money, and places where I should be adding things. Two and a half years later, our carpeting all needs replaced. It is worn and matted down. I contacted the store directly about a year after we were in our home when I noticed it was a problem. I sent pictures, had the carpets cleaned to see if that helped, and never again got a response from them after I provided the requested photos. I have since been told that the padding used was probably low grade, because the carpet I chose was not cheap. I would have preferred to have been offered the option of upgrading the builder grade pad. I dont know why I wasnt because they offered to upgrade everything else (at my cost of course). So now in a practically brand new house the carpet looks 15 years old. I would have rated them lower, but I do like my engineered wood and the laminate luxury tiles still look great. I have had issues in my shower with grout ciming out, but I have been told that is more likely due to settling than improper install. I would not use Northport again. I also feel bad because I recommended them to my brother when they needed new carpet before I started having issues. They did all new carpets and have the same problem with matting.

I went to Northport Flooring yesterday, in spite of the prior review, because I had had an excellent experience previously. As soon as I stepped foot in the door, I was greeted by a salesperson, asked what I was looking for, ushered to that area so that I could look. I found the staff to be courteous, knowledgable, and attentive. Whatever the shopper experienced before certainly seems to have been fixed!

We are repeat customers. Northport not only sells quality flooring, but their customer service is beyond expectations, and their installers are friendly, proficient, and professional. I highly recommend them.

Excellent store : knowledgeable sales people, carpet delivered right on time, great installation, clean, efficient, great quality of carpet for the money.

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to see the selection of carpeting. During the 20ish minutes I was there, not a single employee came over to help me. I walked around the entire bottom floor then went up to the 2nd floor and walked around there before going back down to the bottom floor. There were 3 men & 2 women working (that I saw) and not 1 tried to help me. The only other customers in the building were an elderly couple picking tile. I finally walked up to the employees in the back office area to try to get some help and they acted like theyd never seen a customer before. Customer service was non-existent. I would not recommend this company.
