Had a very positive experience. I have an old iPhone I keep because its small. Had the broken screen replaced. It broke again, despite a case, and I had the battery swapped. I got a discount. Louis warrantied the work, and when I later had a speaker issue, he replaced the entire unit free of charge. This is an Alameda local with 25 years providing local service. Definitely a pick over a Craigslist alternative. Highly recommend.

I dropped my iPhone XS one night on the sidewalk completely smashing the screen. The very next day, I dropped off my iPhone at Quick Communications. They took it right away and repaired the screen in 30 minutes. Great prompt service! I highly recommend them for iPhone repairs.

My son dropped his phone in the water. We did the rice trick and it would turn on and the screen would display, but the touch controls would not work. The interweb said it was most likely the digitizer.I took it into Quick Communication to see if they could repair the screen. The receptionist was very nice and took the phone to the technician who came out and explained that there could be internal problems with the phone. He asked if I had a few minutes to stay while he opened it up to look, which I did. He opened it up, said it looked pretty good, and replaced the screen which fixed the problem- all for a fair price.

Before finding help for a dead iPhone6 with Louis at Quick Communications, I tried the Apple Store when my battery would not stay charged long. The Apple Store had no iPhone6 batteries in stock and when I ordered one, despite my receiving a confirmation via emai,l they never ordered the battery. Then I tried the phone kiosk just outside the Apple Store in Emeryville. Long story short the kiosk technician installed a non-Apple battery and 5 days later my phone went black. I took it back to him and he said he could not fix it. He then installed what he thought was a factory Apple battery so I could go back to Apple for help, but that battery ended up being a dead knockoff that the Apple technicians would have noticed as soon as they took the cover off the phone. So I took my dead iPhone6 to Quick Communications and learned that the phones operating system had been corrupted by the battery installed at the kiosk, and it nearly ruined the logic board. So I tried a solution closer to home, Quick Communications on Park in Alameda. They do have iPhone 6 batteries in stock and installed it correctly and restored the IOS. I should have gone to Louis first. I highly recommend this Authorized Technician. My iPhone6 is back!
