Ed went above and beyond to track down a particular phone I wanted when all he had to say was the phone was out of stock in the store. Two other stores told me this exact thing. Ed is an incredible asset to the company and should be rewarded for it. Additionally, Jordan, the associate who set up my new phone, was very personable and proficient. All of my data and apps were transferred without any problems. I am truly impressed with the Alameda team!

Do not believe these guy. The sale rep said because my phone is free so I need to have insurance for 3 or 4 months. I took it off as soon as I got home. The guys will try to draw you to pay for more. Make sure you do research before going into the store. Do not believe their online say the phone is not compatible with Verizon. I have a LG G8 thinQ from T-mobil that is unlock. Insert the Verizon sim in and start using without any problem. If you like their wireless service than call them over the phone and order the sim. It should work if your phone is unlocked. Will never visit any Verizon store in the future.

Just left this store. I have been coming here for years for our Verizon phone needs. This was the first time that I am noticing that customer service is on low supply. A young woman let me in, she didnt give her name. She was a youngish Latina, short in stature with fake lashes. She had short, abrupt responses, a slight attitude and wasnt friendly. She did what I came in there to do, which is good but while helping me she was on her personal phone watching videos and was laughing at a video that had a little kids voice in it (I found that very unprofessional) but helping me she was serious and you could tell any of us in there were bugging her. When my transaction was complete, there was no exit salutation like thank you or have a good day. I had to be the one to tell her that I thought my new phone had completed the transfer. She had already left me to be on my own and was helping another woman who came in her with her two children. Quite a bummer.

They messed my entire order, wasted hours of my time. They ended up cancelling my order and I had to reorder via customer service online. Their employee is a nightmare, had no idea what he was doing (I believe his name was Jordan) gave me an attitude and was highly unprofessional. The agents online graciously fixed my order. Do not come here unless you like wasting your time and being treated like your business does not matter.

TERRIBLE! I went 3 diffrent times today. First time, there wasnt enough staff to open and was told to come back. Went back and was told the same thing. Tried for a 3rd time, doors were locked and lights were on. Someone was there, I could see them walking in the back. Knocked for about 15 minutes and left. Terrible, dont waste your time, got to Oakland.

Horrible service from the young lady that works on sunday. We arrived at noon. Checked in she said there would only be one person ahead of us... however once we came back there was no one working in the store. We waited another 45 minutes but no one came back to work. Office hours read noon to 6pm. But she was no where to be found.

This store is very poorly managed, yesterday (7/9/2021 a Friday) they were supposed to be open until 7 but closed just before 6, one of the employees said they spoke to their manager and they were closing early...Today, Saturday 7/10/2021 they are supposed to be open by 10 am, but they are not open at 10:10! And I saw an employee inside go back the back are door. Ive knocked on the door and nothing!Verizon should revoke your license to represent them!

The staff is really nice, but highly over worked. I don’t think the mistakes that were made would have happened otherwise. It took 4 hours to complete the sale and transfer because there were other customers requiring help that he had to juggle on all parts of the store to maintain social distancing. Unfortunately, as a result the phone number wasn’t transferred correctly (told it should be fine and it would work in 24 hours, discovered hours later the pin wasn’t entered correctly), and the wrong phone was ordered for the second line (wanted an iPhone 12 pro, which they didn’t have, but they ended up ordering the 12 pro Max, which I already bought - so now a phone is coming that they already had in stock and that I don’t want). Also, though all adults in the store were wearing masks, the small children they brought in with them were not. I imagine this would be really uncomfortable to enforce on a customer, so I sympathize, but the children were coughing aggressively and should NOT have been in there. Honestly, if he had had the support he needed I think this would have been an amazing experience and he shouldn’t be blamed, but the management definitely should be.

I had an emergency need for a phone charger, and while I looked for one, they charged my phone for me. Very nice man who was really responsive to my needs assisted me. Unfortunately, what I purchased did not work with my phone, so it was a good thing I got an in store charge for my dead phone.I do not usually go to this area, so when I tried to return the mdse to a more local store, I found out that not all Verizon stores are created equally. It became a huge problem in returning the item - even though I had my receipt - because this location is a franchise store instead of a regular Verizon store.

Training on how to treat senior customers badly needed by staff at this Verizon. Even though, it is the nearest store to me, I will gladly suffer the extra drive, awful traffic to go to the store in Oakland, rather then ever go back to this one, again. I was willing to give them a chance but, my last visit a few nights ago, clenched it. My best friend, was with me and she was just appalled. I have worked in Customer Serviceall my life and I know that during that time, I treated all my customers with concern and integrity. I realized, that they were actually helping me pay my rent, etc etc.The staff at this store like most Verizon stores, are young but, that is no excuse for the lack of commitment and disengagement. At 75, I know what I am talking about and, it saddens me, that old age, is not appreciated or dignified, at this store. After all, seniors, may not be as gadget crazy as theyoung crowd but, we do have mobile phones ( a must actually, when one is old). We deserve goodservice and courtesy. I remember once, when I first started in Customer Service, I had a call from what was clearly a Senior. This man, wanted some information on his account (credit card). At the end of our conversation, he said something I will never forget and it was, Thank you for being kind and patient, not everyone is, now that I am old. Again, another senior, who did not get the respect hedeserved. I want my words in this review, to be taken to heart. The employees of a company, have no idea, how their attitude and behavior, can damage the image of the company they work for.They dont deserve to have a job at all.

I purchased a new phone at the store. I was satisfied with the help I received during the purchasing process; however, I purchased an expensive screen protector and had them put it on and noticed it was already cracked when I got home. Called the next morning and spoke to Karl the sales manager and he said he couldnt replace it but would cover the shipping cost for a new one as it was under warranty. He was clearly annoyed at his salesperson. Honestly, I wasnt upset but was surprised to hear him belittle his own team. Very unprofessional. He said he would call me back to resolve the issue but never did. I showed up the next day but Karl was gone but his salespeople were very helpful and got the order placed but I had to pay the shipping. I emailed Karl asking if I could get the $10 shipping reimbursed but once again he never responded. Overall good customer service from the floor salespeople but poor service from the store manager. As a result I wont be returning to this store in the future.

New management at this location, my experience was awesome.I read the reviews and was apprehensive about going but the staff was really helpful, patient, and had a healthy sense of humor. I spoke with the new manager and he explained that they brought in a entirely new crew to run the store because the previous groups performance was so dismal.I would highly recommend visiting this location.

AVOID this store - a complete rip-off. Horrible customer service - Foul attitude, defensive and antagonistic. Thoroughly dishonest - Gouged me on prices for accessories, lied about fees, and charged me double for insurance!I called Verizon and they clarified fees and costs, and then I went back to Victra for refund and adjustments. Staff did not listen, argued with me, called me a liar, refused any accommodation, refused to even look at my receipt, and ordered me out of the store. The manager was supposed to call me and she did not. They are hostile, demeaning, undignified and totally lacking in respect for the customer. Zero customer service.I called Verizon, explained the situation and the agent apologized profusely and refunded the all the charges, fees and costs - Excellent customer service from Verizon. AVOID this store and go to a Verizon store.

I cant give any info on how the service at this store was, because they just flat out werent open during their posted hours with no indication of why, leaving me with a totally inoperable phone and, because I ordered my phone to pick up at this location and couldnt swap pickup locations, an extra day without a phone and unable to work as a result.

This place is a complete rip off with deals that take advantage of customers who are overwhelmed with their “exclusive offers” which aren’t deals at all and just over priced in-store items.The assistant manager/employees are extremely rude like said in older comments, and the employees are only in it to make as much money off of you as possible.They even took advantage of my blind mother because “she didn’t read the fine details when purchasing” even when they kept verbally telling her that all these things are “free” then charged her an insane amount of money upfront.Honestly, just go to a real Verizon store. They tell the customers there’s a full refund within 14 days, but now we are short $90 from all the of their non-refundable items that was never mentioned during the transactions, and upon requesting a refund they blamed my blind mother for not reading it when they were talking. It was probably one of the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen.

Snakes is the best way to describe the sales associates at this location. Went in for an upgrade, they claimed the new phone was only $4 more a month for the device payment plan however it was a $20 difference. They added insurance for $13.00 a month without permission when asked to remove it they said we had to go online to remove it on our account. Went online and could not remove it, ended up calling 611 for assistance. They changed a $20 in store convenience fee and did not transfer contacts from old phone to the new phone. Tried to upsale with an ipad claiming it would lower our monthly bill $30 a month which was a total lie. DO NOT use this location. I should have checked the reviews.

Unbelievable and EPIC FAIL, I went there with my laptop to have an expert supervise my Iphone backup. I even bought the girl helping me a Starbucks from next door so she would pay attention. after waiting 35 mins for the backup to finish, I had two employees verify the backup. They said good to go I went to the Mac store to get my replacement Iphone 7 and when I got home there was no backup from today. never completed...lost super valuable pics videos and contact from the last 10 months. DO NOT GO THERE for ANYTHING....they know less that you do.

Dismal is an understatement. Went in with a problem and the staff mocked it, laughed, and told me I was better off not doing anything about it. They then went on to say that if I really wanted to do something that didnt cost me an exorbitant amount of money, I should just go straight to the apple store and LIE to them about my phone being faulty. Very poor customer service, the staff is snarky, rude, and does a disservice to Verizon in general.

They overcharge you. Don’t come here. They tell you things are “free” and it’s actually not. They over charge you for their “free stuff” and then it’s included in your bill as a “bundle” BUT YOU GET CHARGED FOR IT....GO SOME PLACE ELSE. Awful customer service. Store was locked at 3:00 pm with a sign taped to the window, hand written in red marker ON A 30 MIN BREAK. The store was locked with the same sign posted at 4:00 pm. So either; the employees of this store take frequent thirty minute breaks, or they dont quite have the concept of time mastered just yet. Either way Im not very confident in their abilities.
