This is SUCH a precious coffee shop!! It’s probably one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had! They have oat milk, which always wins me over. The pastries are delicious as well (says my kiddos!). They split a chocolate croissant.Only downside was the wait- we probably waited 20 minutes for our food and drink. BUT I’m willing to wait for good coffee! ☕️ And it was Balloon Fiesta weekend, so I’m sure they were busier than usual!
Delicious latte and this little vegan cake thing was amazing! I picked it because it looked very chocolatey but I was super surprised at how yummy it was. Rich and tasty with a good texture and tart dried cherry bits on the top were amazing. Lovely big latte, lovely atmosphere, cool music- classical and some strange old voice stuff… also a very comfy seat! And they are lovely and friendly. 😁
I wish I had more pictures to share (I’ll have to add more if I can), but guys, just trust me that this is some of the best coffee in all of New Mexico. I have been a barista for a few years and take my coffee very seriously. Each and every time you come to Cutbow, you get a consistently delicious, rich cup of coffee. Paul, the owner, is the sweetest person I’ve ever met and you can taste his passion for coffee in every sip! you gotta check this place out!
Incredible coffee, the Sumatra is dark and complex, while also staying buttery smooth. I dont add cream or sugar.I was ready to give this shop 5 stars til I took a bite into the blue berry scone.Stale and dry. I had to spit it out.We got here at 8am. Inexcusable. This is a day old product sold at full price.Coffee is incredible but its soured by cheap sales practices with its baked goods.Frankly, Im angry I have to do this. Be better than this, Cutbow. If youre going to have items on your menu, do it right or dont do it at all. Everything you sell has to be good, otherwise it comes off like youre fleecing customers.Come for coffee, skip the pastries. Your waistline and your wallet will thank you.
Great third-wave coffee, nice service, though very slow. Considering there was only one customer in front of me, I waited a few minutes to order and then several minutes for an iced cafe latte (no steaming, just espresso & milk) and a house drip. There were 3 workers behind the counter so I dont know what the holdup was.Its lovely inside (if youre comfortable with that Covid-19 risk). The outdoor space leaves something to be desired, but I gather its probably a temporary pandemic solution. The nearby unpaved parking gets dusty when cars come in and out, but theyve put some effort into some nice chairs and tables. Rio Grande Blvd and the freeway are a little loud. Also, and this is not important but, I noticed the vibe / clientele is older and more well-off. Lots of grey-haired customers and fancy cars in the lot. Thats a bit unusual for third-wave coffee shops, where the vibe is often young hipsters. But Im glad to see that good coffee is catching on to the other generations as well! 😄
Friendly service and staff. Ordered through the window on the outside of the Cafe, asked for a vanilla iced latte with oat milk with coffee ice cubes and a berry lemon mini bundt cake (gluten free). The seating is outside underneath a canopy and the gentleman brought out my order fairly quickly. I am by no means a coffee drinker, in fact I never drink it but I thought Id give it a try and was very pleased. I will come back when Im in the area.
It should be called slowbow coffee. Waited 25 minutes on two drinks and there were 3-4 workers behind the counter. Seriously very slow without reason and not worth it. Then the milk was burnt 🤦♂️. The tea was good
Best iced/hot lattes here in Albuquerque!
Place has such potential with a great location good coffee, nice decor, but unfortunately they never have any pastries. I want here today at 9:30 and there was literally just one Danish left. If you like muffins with your coffee go elsewhere..
Great atmosphere and great people! Paul is an awesome guy and so friendly. And of course the coffee is amazing!
This place is awesome. From every thought out detail in the decor, to the excellent customer service, to the fantastically brewed and smooth, deep flavor of the coffee! The husband wife team who owns it are so friendly and clearly proud of their work. The inside is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The counter staff baristas are friendly, patient, and helpful. This will be an absolute must stop whenever I visit Albuquerque!
Certainly a very knowledgeable coffee shop for this area! While the drip coffee was a bit watery and under extracted, and perhaps a bit too hot, the espresso and pour over single origin coffees were both fantastic. The espresso was deliciously complex and both were very fruit forward. The staff were kind and patient with our questions.
Very nice place. Employees were very nice. Great coffee.
The best tasting pour-over coffee Ive had in years. Plus they had gluten free pastries from a local shop. Excellent!!
Great coffee! Cutbow has been such a lovely addition to the community.
The employees were all super helpful and kind, the coffee itself (their espresso blend) had not a touch of bitterness with a deep mouth feel that coats your tongue in creamy fatty flavor for a long enjoyable while after the cup has been drunk. Not to be missed.
Cool space, great coffee and scone! Brought us a doggie water bowl.
Came here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! It’s very spacious and beautifully designed -the whole quirky vibe that you would expect from a coffee shop/roastery (they roast their beans in House!) I had a simple pour over coffee and really enjoyed it! I loved it so much that I bought a bag of beans while I was there (which I’m currently drinking ...frenchpress style ❤️) but I really liked it here. The staff was pretty friendly and there’s lots of parking available! If you haven’t checked this place out, do it!
Great service coupled with the best coffee in town. Keep up the good work guys.
Perhaps the best coffee in New Mexico, and a lovely, welcoming spot to sit, chat, work, or muse.
This is probably my favorite coffee shop in ABQ. Everyone is always really nice and the coffee is really good. They have a cute little sitting area outside right now, too.
I love this little hidden gem! The coffee and pastries are great. So is the service. I love how they serve your coffee. Very pretty and classy. Albuquerque!
Pretty good. Nice people. Better than star bucks
Location is a very nice. It is a best place for going with your partner.
The owner and staff are, first class. The coffee and the ambiance is an incredible experience. You will not be disappointed. I will be back. I love the fresh flowers, decor and the architectural detail. The coffee roaster is top notch and so is the coffee.
Amazing!! I knew they had to be good when i saw that they served sparkling water with their espresso. 3 of us were passing through abq and did a mini coffee tour. This was the third place we went to and it was hands down the best one in the downtown area.We got mi cafecito, lavender latte, and the espresso. All of them were so good we ended up ordering another on the way out!! Also fantastic service and very friendly staff. The seating outside is also nice and spaced out with plenty of parking. Definitely recommend.
I live in the NE Heights and yet I would be willing to make the drive to Cutbow. I like businesses that are true to themselves, ones that do what do well with their own flare. This place is that and so much more. I really wish I could express in words how good the coffee was, how friendly Paul was, how intentional and welcoming the decor was, but there’s really no words that can do it justice. You need to stop by and enjoy it for yourself.
Wonderful coffee with many ways to customize your selection. Quick service and friendly staff. There are a few tables along side of the business to sit and look at the Sandias while enjoying your purchase
As a New Yorker living in NM I am so happy to have been introduced to this little shop! Cutbow offers excellent espresso and incredible customer service. The workers are kind and helpful and the owner makes a point to say hello each time I visit. I 100% recommend this lovely spot!
My 90 yr old mother and I love visiting Cutbow Coffee. It’s on her weekly “ to do” list! The coffee is smooth and aromatic. The best coffee in Albuquerque! The ambiance is soothing and zen-like.The owner Paul and his loving family have put so much blood sweat and tears into creating a beautiful place to stop and soak it all in.If you are visiting Albuquerque, this place is a must!💜
Love this place! Great coffee, fresh pastries from local bakeries, close to highway, great people, great service, and lovely pride support for both footy and diversity. Highly recommended
Fantastic cup of coffee and people!
The quality of the coffee is always great and the staff are warm and helpful!
Perfect latte with oat milk. Super friendly staff and owner. Very safe Covid precautions allowing us to order outside.
Really cool coffee shop.
Great experience. Friendly service. Excellent coffee. Convenient order and pick-up window due to Covid. Highly recommended!
Every time Ive come in, the owner Paul has been incredibly friendly along with his wonderful and attentive barista staff. One of the best coffee roasters in town - in my opinion - with a very open and relaxing space decorated with buyable fishing paraphernelia and art. They also do collaborations with other local businesess in town including Bow & Arrow, examplifying their presence and involvement with the community. Occasionally they will host events showcasing local talent, and every week they have intimate coffee tastings on Fridays at noon available by reservation. First come first serve! My personal favorite from their menu is the Cortadito Bon Bon: espresso with condensed milk.
Great coffee and pastries. Shaded outdoor seating. Great experience!
Tasty coffee, cool spot & AMAZING SERVICE.
My favorite coffee shop in the Southwest!
Awesome great customer service
Must stop and see this little gem! The coffee was excellent and the owners are so nice.
Traditional NM feel with modern touches for ambiance, solid coffee, and decent locally made baked goods.Wife and I saw a smores espresso drink on instagram and it looked amazing. We drove 20 minutes from our SE Heights neighborhood with watering mouths to try this thing. It did NOT disappoint! Smooth texture, bold taste, but sweet to even it out. We also lavender scones that, while dry, were fairly tasty. Bonus that they were locally made, we love supporting small businesses. If youre heading West on I-40, this is a convenient stop off alternative to Starbucks, gas stations, or whatever chains are out there. A little far from our home so we dont make it out regularly but we enjoy it when we do.
This is a 6 star coffee shop. Weve traveled all around the country seeking out the best coffee and Cutbow is at the very top of our list tied with storyville coffee company pikes place in Seattle. INCREDIBLE THANK YOU!!!!!
Great local coffee spot!
Great little coffee shop. I personally like to taste the flavor of my coffee instead of it tasting like burnt coffee how Starbuck’s is. So if you’re like me and like really flavorful delicious coffee definitely try this place. A little bit pricey per cup but well worth it.
Awesome place, they have a teacher appreciation month!!
I got iced dirty chai tea latte with their homemade lavender syrup. One of best coffees I’ve ever had, however, the damn thing cost $9. It was well worth the $9, and they get 5 stars because quality over quantity, however it was truly out of my price range. This place is great for a treat every now and then, and I would recommend it to locals and visitors a like, but sadly I can’t visit more often because of the prices. :(
The coffee and pastries here are a must! So good with great parking and some seating outside.
Amazing coffee and people
Meh, the coffee was okay. More focused on masks than coffee.
One of the best coffee shops in the world😃 If you are not a coffee connoisseur before, you will become one when you do their coffee tasting class and try their various kinds of coffee!Nice decor and fantastic friendly service.
Nice place and good coffee
Arguably the best coffee (hot or iced) in ABQ. Very cool vibe with a group that truly cares about the craft & art of coffee -- and the big coffee roaster inside is just wicked cool. Theres plenty of seating and plenty of parking. Theres also plenty of pastries that make for a perfect snack pairing. Big tables and communal areas toward the back also make this a solid study/meeting spot. 5/5
Great service but both drinks were pretty plain tasting even though they were supposed to be cinnamon flavored and mocha flavored.
This is by far the best cup of coffee in Albuquerque! I am so excited to have found them. The owner, paul, was such a friendly and kind person!
Paul does it right when it comes to a Great cup of “Joe”.
Wow just the best coffee I have had in New Mexico
Great espresso drinks, including the flavor of the roast, the freshness, and the quality if the milk treatment
Coffee and service is great!
The best coffee in ABQ and the best customer service! Love Cutbow!
Best coffee in the southwest!! Rich and delicious.
Locally owned. Beans roasted on site. Very fresh. Great people!
Good roaster.
Beautifully decorated, lovely music, very friendly staff and owner. I had the espresso with sweet condensed milk (iced as per my servers suggestion) and it was amazing. Bold not bitter, balanced with the perfect sweetness. The scones are delicious but not too sweet. I will absolutely be back to try more!!
My husband and I are road tripping across the United States. We stop at a lot of well known coffee shops, but few pair excellent, creative coffee with warm kind service the way this place does. So impressed!
