Im very unhappy with the new guy that was there. 1st thing he did was not weigh it correctly. As i checked it on before i went in. I have more to complain. But i do respect the other gentlemen thats truly given quality fare prices an service to my family for generations. Glad you got to retire. But regret the ill being going else where from now on. Ive done business in this store before and Ive recommended it to others but this time Mr. Castle himself refused to allow my legally qualified service dog to walk with me onto the rug in front of his display cases because he had just paid $700 to have it cleaned. His rug is far more important than you are. Find a different shop that values you and your business!***Update to response from owner:Mr Castle, as I stated in my review and in your shop, my service dog is not a pet. According the the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) she is necessary medical equipment no different from an oxygen tank, crutches or any other medical equipment. Let me put this bluntly- I have grounds to sue you for turning me away from your shop. Instead, I have filed an ADA complaint with the Federal Department of Justice and the NM Governors Commission on Disability. Im seeking to have you educated since you have not educated yourself. My service dog has more than the ADA minimum training for service dogs, including at least 180 hours of training over a minimum of 6 months plus the ability to pass the Public Access test for service dogs and 3 specifically trained tasks that she does for me with 90% accuracy because I cant do them for myself due to my disability. She does not have to wear any indications of this training, such as vest. I highly recommend you educate yourself on service dog law as the ADA also protects your rights. Had my service dog, for any reason, soiled or damaged your precious antique persian rug I would have been legally responsible for cleaning it. Please educate yourself on this matter.

Came in once to purchase silver, seemed as though I was bothering him. Still I waited patently for around 20 min while he helped other people that walked in after me. Finally after finding the silver I wanted “ was told he didn’t have it but my wife had just called before hand to confirm !” So I purchased it. Came back in a second time and got more . No issues. He tells me he has some more of the type of silver I’m buying and he will look for it . Week later Today I call and ask if he has anymore of the specific type of silver ive been purchasing. He blatantly says he hasn’t had time to look. In a week? Again I show patience and as” well would you be able to look today, and I can call back at the end? “ this is where it got rude, and I was told he didn’t have time. And wouldn’t be making time. Period. All I can say is this isn’t the only shop in town. Shop somewhere that appreciates your business!

Gave them 12k cash for some gold bullion and he said it would take 4 weeks to get then when the time came he wanted more weeks to get it. Took my money back IE a check that was good. Did not like this place, as far as I know he was just sitting on my money.

Asked for a price before bringing in my coin, a gold krugerrand. Then brought it in and they honored the price. I probably could have gotten 5% higher price on ebay, or with a lot of footwork. The price I got was certainly worth the ease of the transaction. Felt comfortable with Daves credibility and honesty.

If youre not white youre not right. They offered $200 for $2k worth of jewelry. A joke indeed. Dont go to them.

They paid me 80% of Spot for my silver coins, so he made $40.00 off me. I rate it as ok because they have to make a profit & he was very quick about it. You have to ring the doorbell to get into the shop & they buzz you out. Clean building...has an armed security guard in the building. I think you can haggle to try to get 85-90% of Spot, especially if you have allot to trade in at once, but I didnt & wasnt in the mood to haggle, lol. I would do business with them again...thanks~: )
