Just around the corner from our house. A good selection of a variety of items, you do need to spend time looking around. Rice stock rotates often and they carry a good variety of rice and dried beans as well as vegetables and mushrooms that you wont see in a typical American grocery store.
Small but satisfactory. I found some frozen noodles that I had not seen at a competitor. Looking forward to trying them out. Major plus, the staff was incredible.
Literally my favorite place to go. Theyre so sweet and have such great choices!
This a nice place. Small selection of Asian products but they have a few of the Japanese products that I regularly buy.
A bit chaotic, but a good smattering of chiefly Korean and Japanese goods. Definitely not the sterile corporate grocery store. Odd things in odd places, so even though its small, it takes a bit of time to figure out what is where. I got most of the items for my shopping list, but still had to head to Ta Lin for the remainder. Generally a good warm vibe.
Efficient, decent prices, not much variety with food cuisines other than Korean.
Wonderful little Korean food and dry goods store. Very welcoming. The home made kim chee is the best Ive had.
I went in myself and immediately I received buying overload ! They had everything I wanted !!! I strongly suggest yall try the Kimchi homade by Mama, I bought the Cucumber and my kids and I took it out !! I immediately had to go back. Now its a simple but well run place and help is available, all you have to do is ask. Everything is awsome there !!
Well stocked, pleasent atmosphere, very nice people
Nice Korean food to take out. But some snack on the shelves are old and exfired.
Always a great shopping experience, and you should try the food prepped and cooked in traditional Korean style.
Very good service lady behind the counter was very helpful and nice.
Great service and always have those hard to find ingredients we use.
Great little Asian market with delicious Korean food tucked away in a strip mall. Several tables against one wall for lunch with a nice selection of choices. We enjoyed the Korean sushi rolls, seafood & Green Onion pancake, spicy tofu soup, and grilled mackerel. It was all delicious and worth coming back to enjoy again. They also have water, hot tea, and bottled beverages.
Nice little japanese and korean and misc other asian foods and supplies.
I like this little store because they let you browse without hovering. The lady there is very sweet & friendly. They have a lot of good stuff!!! Very nice grocery store! Will visit again🌞!!!
Very nice place to shop caring considerate and kind
Friendly cashier, unique items,fresh food
My favorite Korean market🇰🇷🛒🎎💖 I used to frequent their old location with my mom starting off when I was a little girl as far back as I can remember. The owner is very dear to my heart♥️. She has always treated me like family when Im there and really is the most amazing woman with the sweetest spirit! I always just love to see her each time I visit. The new location is an upgrade as well because now they offer homemade Korean take out food which always is authentic and delicious! The prices are pretty good for Korean groceries here in ABQ and most importantly, they are always stocked with all of my favorite things! I know theyll have whatever Im looking for and more. Its just the best!😻😻😻
The food is really good and theyre my favorite place to get kimchi.
Selection is very limited, prices non-competitive.
Good selection. Helpful staff/owner.
Unique and rare items. Some products expired.
Its a great resource for hard to find Oriental/Asian items. Have been 2 times. Doesnt disappoint.
So nice to find this market so close to home.
The person that runs it is very helpful. Shes courteous, on the ball, multitasks quite well. They also have the products that I need and cant get at other Asian markets. Cost is quite comparable to others
Good selection
Cute store. unfortunately, they dont have a huge variety... mostly East Asian things. for example, i dont think they have Indian ingredients. but they did have the stuff that *I* needed.also.. not that theyre disorganized.. it just seems like its overly... packed. Ive been to stores like this back home so it doesnt bother me so much.friendly staff. also, they have a small menu. i havent tried any of the food.. but i thought it was cute how the lady offered to cook.
Theres only one lady running the store but considering she does the cooking and runs the register, its pretty amazing. The store is well stocked and has a few tables off to the side of you get hungry. I love this place.
I love this little market! They have some of the best little treasures. I went to Talin to buy egg roll wrappers since I was making some to celebrate Chinese New Year. I was so bummed because they did not have the brand that I like to use so I went to my trusty A-1 Oriental market and they saved the day! I also picked up other sized goyza wrappers, delish mochi and other snacks for my kids. They have a great selection of quality items here. Stop by and check them out!
Cute little place lots of good basics in a small area. Great prices on Shin noodle cups, Pocky, dried mushrooms, and cold canned green tea. And thanks for having yummy red bean buns!
Hands down the best Korean beef stew (Yookyejjang) and bibimbap in town. Also serves grilled mackerel thats so hard to find in Albuquerque. Great on a cold day, or when youre feeling like something hearty.
Lots of stuff that you dont see in most markets. Pricy though.
This place has awesome kimchi! Get the one that looks like it was homemade. The lady that works there is very nice and helpful.
Had all we needed to get our oriental meal completed.
A little messy.. Some items didnt have price stickers but I was able to find out quickly. When checking out an associate I assume from the store next door was trying to sell me body products and also followed me out to my car to sell it to my driver. I live close and need products from here, so Ill keep coming back, but maybe when theres no next door neighbors following me lol...
Owner also runs Ichiban Japanese restaurant outside Corrales (yummy!). She is always friendly and helpful. As a child of a Korean parent who needs this cuisine and culture in my life, this place is a huge help.
Lots of good asian food thats hard to find in Albuquerque. Including a lot of stuff you cant find at Talin market.
This is the best Korean and Japanese grocery store in Albuquerque in my opinion. The store is packed with everything you need to prepare a great Korean or Japanese meal. The Cafe corner in the store is small, but the food everything they serve was very good home-style Korean cooking.
Thank you for existing!! I live in Santa Fe and the drive to go to A-1 in ABQ is worth it. Get all your Korean cooking needs plus fresh made Korean food from the very nice lady who runs the store. They have shabu shabu sliced meats (ribeye, pork belly, chicken), mu radish and Korean hot peppers, anything I look for to cook Korean recipes is usually there.
Always helpful and have to find items
Very helpful staff. Ive heard the house-made bulgogi is very good, were looking forward to trying it.
My favorite place to go for Asian/Hawaiian necessities. They have a large selection with affordable prices.
The lady behind the counter makes her own kimchi! And its delicious. Worth the trip just for that, but they also have a little restaurant this food is always super tasty. I go there more for that then for the groceries, but if you need a good Odin set or something like that check it out if its closer to you than ta lin
Love whats available on the shelves! Great customer service also!~♡
Easily one of the best (if not THE BEST) Korean food in NM ! They have the best side dishes and a great lunch special if you want an earlier meal for a fraction of the dinner price.
Good selection of foods. The owners help you find items you need.
This little store is somewhat hard to find but is a great place to explore! Most of their product is tailored towards the Korean & Japanese Cuisine Market.
The restaurant is really good. The market it overpriced but its a local business so its to be expected. The perrilla leaves are big and beautiful and worth the trip for ssam.
They had the brand of dried shiitake mushroom I wanted, and their fresh ginger is the best I have found here.
The service was below average and the items available were limited. I will look for a better Asian market in Albuquerque.
Well stocked!
Good customer service.
The food is very amazing and tasy i govthere alot to get food and buy food❣️😊❣️🍚🥟🍜🍡🥡🥢
They didnt have wh as t I want as looking for but they had other stuff I stocked up on

Really great grocery products .The cooked food is awesome and authentic
Dirty store and they do not speak much english.
Great place for Korean and Japanese ingredients
They always have what I am looking for - lychee. And are always friendly
Food is delicious. Nice and clean. Friendly.
This place is AWSOME it has everything I need to prepare for a night full of Anime while I cry alone at my computer and contemplate suicide (just kidding)...all that aside it really is a great place to stock up on Ramen and Pocky because the Ramen is different from the crap you get at smiths or Walmart its legitimate ramen ! Check this place out !!!!
Best home made kimchi !
