Greed should be their middle name! Terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Pricing is all over the place. Same models with similar mileage are anywhere to 1-3K different. No one can explain why. Lower models with higher mileage are priced higher than a better model. We shopped around and found competitive pricing elsewhere. Buyer beware!
In love with my new car. From all the dealerships I have visited this was BY FAR the best experience. I met with Jeremy and Nick and they were both so very nice and welcoming. Knowing we came from Jersey, Jeremy offered water and if we needed to use the restrooms. He showed me all the features on my new car. Nick was very helpful with the contract side of things. It was contactless for the most part since signing off was mostly on an IPAD and he was doing all the clicking for me. Felt extremely safe the entire time !! Highly recommend
Kathleen Reilly has been the most helpful and amazing sales person that I’ve had out of my previous 9 car purchases. Not only did she respond expeditiously to my requests, she went above and beyond to meet my needs. Additionally, Kathleen took the time to explain EVERYTHING about the vehicle to me. This is the 2nd Volvo lease at Scott . Because we did not understand that one of the key safety features was missing, we returned the car within a few days. Kathleen and Todd were absolutely great and understood our need to find another car. We believe this was something quite unusual for them to handle, redoing the lease after a few days. They were able to find (after searching other dealerships) the exact car we needed with the key safety feature as well as the color, wheels, etc. They found one from another state and had it delivered to PA. They could not have been more gracious and understanding handling this situation. Both of them went beyond their normal routine to satisfy us. An absolutely, incredible effort on their part to satisfy the customer. This is a 10 star dealership that went to exceptional steps to make us happy. We will back for the next lease .
I have owned 2 previous Volvos and had been thinking about buying a new vehicle. I decided to browse the Scott Volvo lot on a Sunday and happened to see the exact car I had built online. I went in for a test drive that Monday and drove it home that Wednesday! It was the most painless car buying experience Ive ever had! Howard DeRemer was amazing. Very personable, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. He also made me aware of a few deals (Costco and A Plan) that saved me some extra money. The entire staff was friendly and I have no complaints. See you in ~10 years when Im looking for my new Volvo!

The sales manager, Todd Menichini, was very helpful and trustworthy. He demonstrated faith in the Volvo product, therefore, making the sales process one of integrity. I did not feel pushed or conned as I have when purchasing other vehicles in the past. I also worked with Howard Deremer, who patiently explained all of the unique Volvo features. I would absolutely recommend purchasing a vehicle from Scott if you want a fair deal and to be treated with respect.

My 92 year old mother got a lease. After a few days she decided the car was too big. She had never driven it, it had the same mileage of 7 miles as when she took possession. When she went to return it they demanded that she pay it off and she paid them over $35,000! Now, they could have taken it back and sold it for her but they didn’t. They scammed a 92 year old woman out of tens of thousands of dollars. I think that this is unscrupulous and shameful. I do not recommend that anyone buy from Scott Volvo.
Recently purchased a beautiful XC90 from your dealership. I was a bit undecided on which vehicle I wanted to buy and spent lots of time talking to Kathleen, Beth & and some of the other sales staff. Test drove multiple cars on different days. At no time was I ever pressured into buying and they continued to be helpful and understanding of all questions & concerns I had. On the day I bought my car the sales manager was not present so I had to go accross to the Madza dealership and was helped by the management there. This is the first but definately not the last Volvo Ill be buying from here!
If i could give 10 STARS i would! First of all they beat everyone’s price! I drove all the way from New Jersey! Once i got there.... super nice & very professional! Kathleen Reilly leased me the car over the phone.. once i got there nothing but very nice & professional. Volvo product specialist Vasht’ Platt showed me everything my new Volvo does & when it was time to fill out the paper work.. Ms Platt played with my 7 year old daughter & her ipad till i was done.. the finance guy was amazing! I forgot his name but i will also post when i get it. Thank you so much Scott Volvo!

This location is by far my favorite. Kathleen was a fantastic sales rep. Very informative. I definitely appreciated having her know what she’s selling me on. Unlike my past experiences with other dealerships and Volvo’s location, the process did not feel like I was at war with the dealership trying to get the best deal on my car. They were genuinely helpful and are amazing people. I drove from NY to PA because they did the best when it came to pricing however, their professionalism and wonderful personalities sold me on the Volvo location itself. Our navigation / computer system was having a few glitches, so I called the service department of Scott Volvo to see if I could get an appointment. I explained that I was on a time crunch since I was taking a road trip within a few days. Not only did they get me in immediately, they also took a look at something else I called and asked about the next day. Josh was my go-to guy each time, and was so patient and helpful. Ed was super transparent with our vehicle’s service history and background. As I was looking for a new car, I had done my research and was set on purchasing a Volvo. The next question was where to purchase it, as choosing the right dealership is just as important. I had been to about 5 Volvo dealerships prior to visiting Scott Volvo. Each of those previous dealerships failed to impress - sales consultants on their cell phones when assisting me, chatting with each other rather than asking if I needed assistance. Scott Volvo, however, impressed immediately, particularly because of the Sales Consultant I had the pleasure of working with, Howard DeRemer. Howard was welcoming, kind, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and, most importantly, patient. At no point did I feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Even though I was set on purchasing a Volvo, his knowledge of and passion for Volvo cars more than validated my decision. As a side note, I was there with my parents, and he treated them with the utmost courtesy, which I absolutely noticed and certainly appreciated. At the end of the day, purchasing a car is a difficult and stressful decision. Howard and Scott Volvo made that decision easy, pain-free, and, in a way, fun! I love my new S60 and will no doubt visit Scott Volvo again when Im back in the market for a new car.A sincere thank you to Howard and the staff at Scott Volvo!
Not an emergency job but hoped it could get done before everything plain shut down. Called on Fri at 10;30 AM, drove to Scott Volvo that 1 PM and job was done quickly and safely--for me waiting as only customer in place. Service unexpected during hard times for health and workers much appreciated!

The service was good for an inspection and 20,000 mile service. However the warranty plan to protect my seats and clean them periodically was terrible. I got the car back in filthy condition including the key faub. I was very disappointed since I pay for the protection plan monthly and they had my car the entire day, I had a loaner but felt very put out by this experience. the car still does not appear like they did what was promised when they sold me the plan. I dont recommend buying any additional service plans from Scott Volvo, we are so disappointed. I will not buy or lease any more cars from them.

This was the first time l brought my car to Scott Volvo. I am from the Pocono area originally and l just moved here. From the time l arrived, Josh from the Maintenance staff was warm and courteous. Doug gave me a ride home in the shuttle service vehicle, and he was very nice.I picked up my car and everything was done just as we discussed. They also cleaned my car beyond my recognition. I am thoroughly pleased. Scott Volvo of Allentown will be my new home for service, repair and possibly a new vehicle purchase.
I came to this dealership not expecting to leave with a vehicle. Pete was a cool guy to talk to, not pushy at all, Knowledgeable about the vehicles, and we went on a pretty cool test drive, going on the highway and winding back roads. I went in knowing what kind of vehicle we were looking for, and Pete did a fantastic job helping us.
My daughter purchased her first car during Covid-19 and the dealership could not have been more accommodating, helpful and organized. I will never go anywhere else! Our sales rep was Kevin and was so amazing!

I want it to give them five stars but can’t due to my car registration hasn’t been issued I lease my vehicle on July/23/2020 so I call PennDot to check the status of the registration and they said we received your paper at the end of October so it’s getting processed. On October/20/2020 the temporary registration got expired so I tried calling the dealership to ask them for an extension but I was told by shana “oh don’t worry nothings gonna happen you can drive your car PennDot give an extension for 2 extra months after the registration get expired due to COVID-19 and the law enforcement agencies know they won’t give you hard time” so I still wasn’t comfortable driving my car and called PennDot to ask them if I can drive the car with and temporarily expired registration because of the 2 months extension PennDot is giving and they said “no you can’t because PennDot fully reopened on June/30/2020 and because of that we stopped giving out the extensions. I am really disappointed and will no do business with Scott Volvo Cars of Allentown 👎👎👎👎👎Also Todd Menichini I’m still waiting for your call since 11/09/2020 as you promised that you will call the next day to resolve this issue....... 👎👎👎👎👎👎
We are in the auto body repair business for 55 years, and purchase some parts from Scott Cars Allentown, and this is my first experience with a vehicle purchase with your company. My son and brother were along during finalizing the transaction. I must say we were all impressed with our salesman, Ron Sivonda, and your finance manager. My son is now considering a purchase for my grandson. You have the right formula for doing business and we will be passing on our experience to many.
Stopped by to look at and test drive an XC60. Reception was busy eating pizza and talking with sales staff. Despite looking at a showroom model for 5-10 minutes, nobody could be bothered to even greet us. Visit Allentown Volvo if you like nice cars and poor sales persons.

We just purchased our second Volvo after a bad car accident. We were sitting at a traffic light. The Volvo knew we were going to get hit. It impressed us very much and everybody in the car was safe and sound after being hit from a dead stop at 35-40mph. We came in and told the Volvo sales staff what had happened and they were able to get us into a new replacement car for a great price with great service thanks so much!
The service team quickly found the reason for the “check engine “ light and did the repair. My 10 year old car runs like a brand new one. The service department is professional and efficient.

I recently purchased a Cadillac XTS from Scott Volvo, and i was very pleased with the service that was provided. They did not low ball me and they gave me a very good price on my trade in. Patti was very professional and was never pushy one time. They were willing to meet at a great price, they received my business and i received the car i wanted. Vince Ramos was also very helpful, helped me get the warranty that best fit me at a great price and treated me as a peer and not as a customer. Overall i will rate my experience with them at a 10 with 10 being the highest. I would most definitely recommend this dealer ship if you are looking for a new car.

I thought these guys were different. They appeared to be sincere and helpful. They said they were looking for the car I wanted. Three days later, and after we gave them a deadline, they sent an e-mail saying they would not be able to help me.
My experience with Victor DeLeon was excellent. I had been working with my local dealer to find the car I wanted and it became very clear they only wanted to sell me a car they had on their lot. I visited with Victor and told him what I was looking for, and within minutes he found the car I wanted (outside the area) and worked to get that car for me. Even when the dealer wouldnt do a trade he continued to help me in my efforts. Victor was transparent, responsive, and more concerned about getting me the Volvo I wanted than making a sale for himself. What more can Volvo ask for in a member of their team?!?

Driving home from a family vacation on I-78, our 2006 XC70 suddenly experienced reduced power and started to shake. Quickly we googled the closest Volvo dealer/service and we were able to successfully limp to Scott Volvo. We arrived just minutes before their closing time of 5:00 on a Friday afternoon in July. Im sure those guys were looking forward to starting their summer weekend but, thanks to Service Advisor Ted and Technician Keith, they stayed and helped us out. They quickly diagnosed the problem, had the needed part in stock (for an 11-year-old car!), and we were on our way in 40 minutes. Many thanks go to Keith and Ted for their outstanding service and for saving our vacation! BTW, Scott Volvos new service area is state-of-the-art and very customer focused, which was much appreciated!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in dealing with a car dealer. Where to begin? I bought a 2012 Volvo here. One of the things I liked about the dealership was that they offered a lifetime guarantee on their engines if you followed the recommended maintenance (or at least that is what I was told).Fast forward to around Christmas this year. My Volvo was making a noise. Upon having Scott inspect it, they said I needed a new engine. I was shocked that an engine with all the recommended maintenance on it would just go like that.When I inquired about the lifetime engine guarantee, the dealer refused to stand behind the engine, even after I gave them all the service work documents. I was told I had to do an expensive oil flush for the warranty to apply. That is what was in the fine print I was told, even though Volvo clearly says in the service manual not to use ANY additives whatsoever. In addition, independent mechanics I spoke to said it was a very bad idea and will most likely cause major problems such as oil leaks, for example, leading to very expensive repairs.The service manager had no sympathy for my situation. They just did not care! When I expressed my disappointment, one of the sales people had the audacity to ask me to calm down or they would threaten me with trespassing. He was apparently trying to sell a car and was worried his customers might get startled by witnessing an upset customer with a busted Volvo. The service department happens to be right next to the sales floor.I was almost completely done with Volvo. I no longer trusted this dealer and had my car towed to Brown Daub in Nazareth instead. They sympathized with my situation and I was able to work with them and Volvo to resolve this situation and restore my faith in Volvo. The experience was so much better that I ended up buying a brand new 2016 XC90 Volvo for my wife and my 16 year old daughter ended up with the 2012 S60 T5 with a new engine.Brown Daub did an excellent job taking car of my car and it drives like brand new. They were very meticulous considering an engine swap is a major repair. If you are looking to have your Volvo serviced or looking to buy another Volvo, in my opinion you would be better off heading over to Nazareth and dealing with Brown Daub. They took a horrible situation that I had with Scott and made it a much better outcome and helped Volvo to sell another car!
Took S60 in for maintenance and discovered it had an internal oil leak.Fortunately it was under warranty. Got a loaner for free for over a week. Replaced piston rings in all valves. Nice job Scott Volvo!

My experience with Scott Volvo was the best car buying experience I ever had. I received quick responses to my text messages with questions I had and once I decided on the vehicle I wanted, Sales Manager, Todd, emailed me the information I requested and set up an appointment for the following day. My husband and I met with Sales Consultant, Howard DeRemer. Howard first took the time to learn what I was looking for in my vehicle and my work commute, etc. before we even got near the XC40. Then before we test drove, he explained every aspect that I deemed important (and then some) in intimate detail. ( I test drove one at another dealership, but that drive highlighted only a few points about the vehicle and they certainly didnt bother with getting to know what I was wanting from my XC40.) I know that not everyone wants a bonding experience, but I never drove or even sat in a Volvo before, so I was extremely appreciative of Howards knowledge, experience, and stories.I dread new car purchasing because of the amount of time spent at the dealership. However, although still a several hour process, the majority of that time was spent with Howard and the XC40. Everyone worked like a well-oiled machine to get my trade-in appraised, the test drive, the finance aspect, and the paperwork done fluidly. Todd and Nick were exceptional with getting us through the financing and signing. Howard worked hard and stayed late to be sure I was connected to the phone app, my phone was paired, and that we were able to drive off comfortably with our purchase.Again, the BEST car purchase experience I ever had!

It was a great and pleasant experience buying the car from them. They made sure to do most of the work on Saturday so that when we came to pick up the car on Monday, it was quick and painless. The staff was friendly and always asked to make sure that we were being helped.

Went in a few weeks ago with my grandmother to look at an S60. They did not have the exact car that we were looking for, and we did not want to settle.The other day Eric (who was our sales person) called my grandmother to follow up and see if they could work on getting her a deal. She told him that she bought from else where, which gave us a better price and had the exact car that she wanted. He said to her “you do know that we spent a lot of time working with you.” She ended the call immediately.That comment was just unnecessary. It is true that we did spend a lot of working with them, because buying a car is a time consuming process. Unfortunately they lost me as a customer, I was going to be looking for a Volvo in January, but because of this I will not even bother coming here.

Well it did not go as smoothly as I had hoped my salesperson was not real friendly and they were way to pushy for an extended warranty after I told them my payment amount.and they didn’t put the wheel lock key in my car so now I have to go back over there and have them put on a new set should of been done before I took the vehicle

Constant argument with Service advisor, Josh, to get any kind of appointment or loaner car with any of my 3 Volvos. I had to call to get any kind of update on my Volvo in shop and they were annoyed to talk to me about my car. After 5 days of my most recent Volvo being in the shop for a 1 hour repair, they installed a completely different dash than was in my car prior, and said that was the way it was going to be. Curt, service manager, called me once it was done, with no prior warning that they used a different dash, and told me to come pick it up. Curt said that if I had any questions, I should talk to the tech, otherwise there is nothing he would do. Horrible customer service each time Ive been in there, 3 times is enough, I will never go back... avoid at all costs!!
