Was very interested in a vehicle and spoke with someone about it. A day later the price online mysteriously jumped up over $5k and was told it was “mis priced to begin with and never should have been that low” Dishonest way of doing business.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Carter County Dodge. Great customer service and everything was smooth and quick. My salesperson Marcus is awesome! Sam and Daniel in Finance just gave me a great offer on my trade-in and great discounts.

The trip was long, but felt like I didnt accomplish anything when I got there. I pretty much felt like I waisted gas going there back (almost a 2 hour trip). The salesman was respectful and knew what he was doing, but I never gotten a response back from finance department and/or even a good vibe even though they claim theyll help me from text/email. My car was appraised, but didnt get a response about that. Plus they was curious about my income, but I work for a public school and felt like my income was an issue like I was hiding something, but Ill be talking to my HR soon about my visit with this dealership and my income to clear any problems for the future.

The dealership wanted to show their appreciation for the work done by the hospital Rn’s so they offered a free oil change for the unit staff. The service department staff was very efficient and friendly. I can respect a dealership that gives back to the community and I can personally say that I felt appreciated which is something you will never feel working as a Rn in the USA. Talking to the service manager I was quite shocked at the number of cars they sell here per month. Five stars.

We knew nothing of this dealership since my son-in-law and daughter live in Mustang and we are from Illinois. We were apprehensive about how this would turn out. I’ve lived in the area for 20+ years and had a few bad experiences up there about 10-15 years ago. This time was completely different. I went to look at a particular truck but it didn’t have the options I was looking for and we couldn’t make a deal. They didn’t try to force me into what I didn’t want, instead dealer located the truck I wanted cheaper than the other 3 dealers I went to (my dealer located truck came from one I had gone to). Rylan was great as a salesman. He made sure the process was seamless. The General Manager Bo was awesome, as well as the sales Manager. You hear all the dealer speak about wanting to earn your business, but these guys actually worked for it. I’ll be going back to see Rylan soon to get my wife a vehicle.

First off let me say I wish I came here yesterday instead of looking around I sat at a dealership for about 6 hrs yesterday I was frustrated and quite upset. I txt a dealer at this one asking if they can guarantee I can get in a car for 500 dollars and was Comme on in. So went on and spoke with Paul Ray who was very informative on everything. I was in an out with in 3 hrs. Even when I first showed up the general manager came over introduce himself. I was very nervous Mr Ray came back told me they wanted a big down pmt. We sat down again and write what I wanted for the down payment and the payment he came back and said they can work with my down. I will continue coming here when I need a new car. Thanks Mr Ray.

Franky is also awesome who did the signing with me at the dodge store!Only problem I had, I was told they were giving me $3,000 for my car as a trade in but after talking to the bank they told me they gave me $2,500 for my car. Not sure where the extra $500 is. We thought we were putting down $5,000 but ended up putting $4,500. Disappointed about it because I thought everyone was really honest with us. Besides that we had a good experience.

Arrived and wanted to look at cars on the cheap end. The salesman ushered us in despite wanting to look at cars. He asked if we wanted to trade in the car we came in. Dont do that, its as if we are supposed to arrive without a vehicle or else have it scalped for trade in.. He told us he would get us a list of his cheapest cars. We waited while we used his phone and then he told us it would be better if he used his computer in his office. We waited 20 minutes in his office while we ran around the dealership doing something else. He finally came back in and told us he was searching for keys for us to test drive a car. We never said we wanted to test drive a car, we never even got to look at prices. After waiting half an hour we left, but before we could get in our car we had to face pressure from all of the sales people on the floor and at the door. Like it was our fault for being dissatisfied. We just wanted to see your cheap cars that maybe got traded in. Terrible experience, dishonest and full of sales tricks and pressure to upsale.

Terrible service. We bought a 2019 jeep Cherokee. 3 free oil changes came with the vehicle. We have been trying for 2 weeks to get someone to call back for an oil change and to get our car fixed. The hood on our vehicle flutters driving down the highway like its going to be ripped off the car, sometimes the screen in the vehicle doesnt want to come on. They have taken my name and phone number down twice and my husbands at least once, and still no return phone call. So we paid $50.00 for an oil change at another dealership. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM YOUR COMPANY AGAIN. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO GO TO YOUR DEALERSHIP FOR A VEHICLE.

I will say first. Chris aka Turbo is a very good and honest person. He would be only reason we went to Carter County Dodge.Horrible experience. Finance dept is not well trained or knowledgeable evidently. Tried to tell us we could only get 20%. So, we did a soft credit check score was a little higher than we thought. We knew something wasnt right. They even called us and lied. Saying to come back they could sell us the car at payment we wanted. I told them I was 2 hours at a hospital seeing me son. They said we will have paper work ready. We drove all the way there and it was made up. No paperwork, no car. Used our gas.We took our business to Seth Wadley Ford. got a brand new Ford for 0%. They were courteous. Finance dept spent time to get us from 1.9% down to 0%. Offered to run get us lunch. Brought me a Dr. Pepper. So, accommodating and professional.No, Brendon you are the one who had us drive back 2 hours for a complete lie. You can reimburse our gas.You will never earn our business again. My experience at Carter County Dodge was excellent! I called to inquire about a vehicle from out of state, and these guys answered all of my questions quickly and truthfully. My salesman was Octavius and his personality was great! Not pushy, just did his best to work with me. The manager, Sam was also a pleasure to work with. Once I arrived to the dealership the truck was in mint condition just as advertised. It was an easy decision to take it home that same evening. Also, I can’t leave out the finance department Brandon was thorough and went the extra mile, yet had me out of the office in about an hour, (which I have never experienced when buying a vehicle). Buying my new journey was difficult, they didnt want my trade in to begin with and marcus the salesman walked away. Walking to my old car ready to drive away i saw franky in the parking lot and asked him if they were really going to let me leave without a sale, he found a new salesman and finished the deal. My wife and i have been stuck with marcus for some reason and have made many attempts to call him about different things. He WILL not return calls or even answer his calls even when tracked down by the receptionist. I give up, franky thanks for the deal

When you call these people about a specific new vehicle in my case a Ram truck they will promise you the world over the phone, have you give them permission to do a credit check, tell you that you are approved for a specific deal for a specific price all is good come on in. When your talking to the owners son and finance manager you think they might know what they are talking about but unfortunately not the brightest ones in the industry or maybe they are, who knows. So then you drive over to the dealership (in my case 70 miles one way), then they low ball your trade in while at the same time they are evaluating it try to make money for themselves doing recall warranty work without your permission while you are waiting for the finance manager who has already pre approved you to finish playing his games. Then they will shotgun you out to all their lenders causing your credit score to drop for nothing because all of a sudden everything they told you before on the phone doesnt even exist and the offer they come back with is almost double what was already agreed on over the phone after being approved by the finance manager? Do yourself a favor and dont waste your day with these people, they only care about themselves and it is obvious as soon as you walk in. I have purchased many new vehicles over the years and they all have their tactics but these guys take the cake.

I would not give a 1 star review but it wouldnt give me the choice. I purchased a 2016 Rav 4 on April 23, 2019. I want to encourage everyone attempting to buy a used vehicle from Carter County Dodge to demand Carfax be presented. I was not shown a carfax and was told vehicle had not been involved in an accident. Took my car in for simple brake pads to be put on (not at Carter) and found out the entire underside of the vehicle was extremely rusted. Bolts were rusted solid, all metal corroded. Was told the vehicle unsafe to be on the road and has to be salvaged. Mind you, vehicle only had 34,000 miles and still owed on loan. Salvage price less than owed on vehicle. Was given carfax on vehicle and found out Carter County bought vehicle at an auction that disclosed to them the car was in accident on 10/18 with structural damage. Yet they sold it to me not disclosing vital information. Plus reason for all the horrific rust damage was because car came from Binghamton, NY. Called Carter County to see if they would offer me any restitution for losing all equity in my vehicle and having to start completely over. Was put on hold and would not pick back up. BUYERS BEWARE!
