One of the best regional auto service facilities. I didnt drive my car during the pandemic so my battery was completely dead. I had to go thru this whole ordeal with AAA to get my car towed somewhere to get it fixed. Ellis staff, Matt, Mikey and the whole crew were understanding and accommodating and this was BEFORE I got there. When I got there, they were able to fix my battery and even save me money! My dad recommended them to me and boy was I not disappointed. Excellent service and customer service was one of the best for an auto service facility. Thank you guys so much. This place is the BEST!! Seriously if u go anywhere else your spending way too much! I took my car here and the battery connection were covered in acid and corrosion. The tech (who happened to be the owner son).. took the battery out of the car tested it... cleaned it and cleaned the terminals. He then replaced the terminals on the car. When I asked what I owed he said $3.. JUST $3!!!! I know there there NOT another service ANYWHERE that would do all this work for this kinda of price!! Way to go Ellis Battery!! No wonder your business is successful and you keep opening locations! Ask them about the refurbished batteries.. THESE ARE THE BEST DEAL ANYWHERE!

Replaced a car battery for us that was under warranty. Blew up our radio and back up camera. Apologized, asked for bid, amount to fix, and info from the dealer. Have all conversations recorded. Have statement from dealership stating that damage was done from cross polarity or wrong battery size being installed. Was given the runaround with “waiting to hear from corporate, will be back in touch”. Then offered to split 50% of a new radio and they would install for us. Contacted corporate, and they refuse to speak or return calls. This isn’t a huge nationwide chain, they only have a few stores so they could speak in a timely fashion. After almost 2 months, owner finally was spoken to and told us he would do nothing. Would give zero stars if possible.

A few months ago my husband wrote about service we had had with Ellis battery in Arnold. The new battery for our van they gave us in late January gave us trouble again (van wouldn’t start). Took to my normal place that does our oil, inspections, etc. No alternator prob, etc. Come to find out the battery they replaced in Late Jan 2020 was from 2018. So they installed for us a battery that was from two years ago. Avoid this place unless you would like a “new” car battery from 2 years previously.

They have a wide selection and can refurbish older batteries. I tried to get a walkie battery here and they sold me the wrong battery. Energy other encounter had been good.

This morning I put my 20 month old twins into the Jeep GC and tried to start it, only to find that the battery decided to call it quits on me overnight. I called my family’s usual mechanic shop that we’ve all been going to for a couple of decades, and who never try to gouge us. Because my Jeep takes an AGM battery, the cost of the battery, and the install was quoted to me in upwards of $320+ dollars, TBD. I about choked. I’m currently going through a divorce and I just don’t have that kind of money to throw at a battery. My cousins husband recommended I call Ellis Battery since they’re who he always goes through. I spoke with Matt over the phone and he said to bring it by and he would get me squared away for a much more palatable price. Holy hell!!!! Matt was awesome! I called to see if they had a battery for my kodak camera. I was told that they do carry them. Only problem is their hours and being able to get there when there open which is monday and friday,and only til noon on saturday. Really makes it difficult when their not open like a real business. I will get there at some point though.
