This is my second time around with Miracle Ear. Needed new up to date hearing aids to replace older hearing aids and Miracle Ear was always there to service them, always free of charge. The new aids did not disappoint and Brittney Ziemba and other staff members at the Auburn location have really gone to great lengths to adjust the new hearing aids for a comfortable fit and performance. Highly recommend them.

I had been needing new hearing aids for quite some time, but my wife and I werent sure we could afford them, especially since both of our jobs had been curtailed due to COVID-19 restrictions. But we had received an ad in the mail from Miracle Ear offering a BOGO deal, so we decided to call and make an appointment. Before the appointment date arrived, my wife went online to read the reviews for the Auburn Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center and was favorably impressed by all of the positive comments. At our first appointment, we met Brittney Ziemba, the companys Hearing Instrument Specialist, along with Lynn, their receptionist. We, too, found both ladies to be welcoming, polite, patient, and kind. Ms. Ziemba proved to be professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful as she administered the hearing tests to both my wife and me, explained the results, and made recommendations as to which instruments she felt would best serve our needs and budget. She also explained the companys policy of allowing the customer to take the instrument of choice home and try it out for 30 days, without obligation. Both my wife and I left the office with a pair of digital hearing aids. In the meantime, Gov. Ivey issued the Stay at Home order for those with non-essential jobs in Alabama. During this period, my wife and I wished that we could go back to the Hearing Aid Center to have minor adjustments made and have some questions answered, but we could not, because of Gov. Iveys order! Before the 30-day trial period was up, my wife decided to return her hearing aids. In a phone conversation between my wife and Ms. Ziemba, there was a misunderstanding over her statement to my wife about the company extending the 30-day trial period to 45 days because of the COVID-19 situation. Later, when I decided I did not want my instruments and my wife told Ms. Ziemba that we were going to bring mine back, she told my wife that the extension only pertained to my wifes instruments, but not mine, and because I had kept mine for 36 days, I would have to pay a 10% restocking fee! We feel that the company Ms. Ziemba works for should have extended the 30-day trial period for my hearing instruments as well as my wifes. Nevertheless, Ms. Ziemba did make good on her promise to work with us, to make sure we received what we needed, at a price we could afford, and she offered us several other options, resulting in my purchasing a different pair of hearing aids which fit our budget, and which I believe I will be more satisfied with in the long run. Also, in so doing, we did not have to pay the restocking fee. All things considered, we feel satisfied with our decision.
