The salesperson was very helpful. Have yet to receive my flooring though, despite being told it was due to arrive sometime last week. Was able to talk to the same nice salesman ( Kyle?) who was able to track down what happened to my order. Will increase the stars based on Kyles helpfulness. Still holding back a star since I cant judge a product I dont have. The request for a review before the product was delivered made me worried that my flooring had been misdelivered somewhere else.
I would use them again. A sales person listen to what I wanted brought samples of the desired look I was seeking. Installers were great, fast, and cleaning up after themselves! Wonderful experience.
I had a great experience with my sales associate, Kyle. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating.
Great company. Kyle is attentive and aims to please. Carpet installers wore masks and are more than helpful. Carpet selection and samples are plentiful. Highly Recommended.
Very professional staff. The installers did an amazing job and it didnt take them all afternoon.
We did not have a good experience with Carpet Mill. We purchased hardwood flooring, quartz countertops and tile backsplash from them. First, they sent one person to install 1800 square feet of flooring. It took him four12 hour days to do the job when it was supposed to take three 8 hour days. We paid them to move the furniture and to dispose of the carpet. The furniture was left in the middle of every room so when we tried to move it back, the floors were scratched. They did replace the scratched pieces but if the job had been done correctly in the first place. They also used our rented dumpster to dispose of the carpet we paid them to dispose of.They said they would refund our money but it would come out of the pocket of the subcontractor. I decided not to do that to the subvontractor. Second, the price we were quoted for the countertops was incorrect (the prices he quoted were from 2015!) and we did not find out until the end of the project. Not only did they not honor the price they quoted, they were off by 12 sq. ft. on the measurement, resulting in a $1300 mistake which I ended up eating. We understand that the measurement was preliminary, but that is quite a bit to be off. Our sales person Larry offered us $270 (his commission on the stone) or a total refund. We were too far into the project to cancel the counters, not to mention the inconvenience if we had to start over. The last thing that happened was with the carpet on the stairs. I asked that the carpet on the landing on the bottom of the stairs be replaced. The contractor said that UT would not match the carpet in the basement so refused to replace it. When I reported this to Larry, he made the contractor come back which resulted in more missed work. I received poor customer service throughout my entire experience with Carpet Mill. I also question their sales tactics and their unwillingness to back up the prices they quoted.
Great installation and under 4 hours
Quick, efficient, and fairly priced. Much better experience than attempting to deal with Home Depot ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We are so glad we decided to go with Carpet Mill! We had a bad experience with our previous carpet company, and needed to replace our carpet under warranty. We are so glad Stainmaster did not make us continue to work with our previous carpet company. The Salesmen in the stores were very patient, and answered all of our questions. Both of the Carpet Mill crews that came into our home were extremely courteous and professional. They treated our home with respect, and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves immediately. We will absolutely be recommending them to others. Thank you Carpet Mill for the excellent service.
Fantastic carpet buying process.. from the moment I sent a message out to measure, Larry was right there. Very helpful. Install guys were awesome. Love the carpet!!
Rating provided is based on Installation Day experience prior to actual installation of carpet. LACK OF COMMUNICATION!!!! IF negative factors were available, Id select that.Great experience at the store with sales person Kyle J. Very professional, provided different samples ideas to fit our needs. HOWEVER, Installation Day is a whole different story. I was quoted a start time of 8-10am. NO ONE SHOWED UP! I called asking for status. Larry said he would call to find out as Kyle was out doing a measurement. Called a second time for status, nothing. Kyle then called to say the first contractor had truck issues and they are sending a second team. Truck issues...Ive heard this excuse before with the roofers. I had to rearrange the afternoon because of the sitting and waiting. Why wasnt I notified ASAP when the contractor called the store to say they couldnt come to my house. COMMUNICATION with your customer is KEY!! I was also told that I didnt have to break down the bedding/furniture. This was not the message team two was told. I had to rush and break down furniture in three rooms as the team was getting the carpeting out of their truck. Team two showed up and went to work quickly, after I hurried to breakdown furniture. They deserve the bonus / commission for saving the day.
Kyle was great~ worked to get the best carpet that he could within my budget! Gustavo & crew did a wonderful job of installing with minimal scuffs to walls & baseboards. Overall, we will use them again!
What a great experience! I stopped in to look at some carpet and not only was a fabulous sale but the sales person Larry was amazing! I explained what I was looking for and my budget . He showed me what I was asking for. Made an appointment to have my house measured and was out of there in about 30 minutes. The delivery and install was not only great, the guys were on time, efficient and there was no mess left behind! I would definitely give a 10 star to this location at Quincy and Parker in Aurora!! Thanks!
Larry was helpful and thorough in explaining everything. He took good care of us at the home show and in our home.
Larry Sale the store manager listened to my needs and budget requirements and helped me select the flooring that was perfect for what I was looking for. He came out personally and took measurements and scheduled my installation which went flawlessly. He followed up during and after the Install to make sure everything was going well. I would highly recommend seeing Larry at the Quincy Carpet Mill Outlets location for any flooring needs.
If I could give this zero stars I would! I have never been so disappointed in a company in my life! When we first went in to get an idea on carpet they seemed so genuine! We ordered our carpet that day and were scheduled to have our carpet installed on January 14. The installers showed up 2 hours late, which in my opinion is incredibly unprofessional. After that they were very nice and got the carpet pad laid in our downstairs area within a few hours. They had laid the carpet out on the driveway to cut it to the size they needed and then the main installer asked me to come outside to view that throughout the whole carpet there were quarter sized holes of carpet missing. The installer called Larry, the store manage, and explained what he was seeing. Larry then told him to install the carpet anyway and they would make a mill claim and get us new carpet. I explained to Larry that we were selling our house and needed this settled and replaced quickly. He assured me it would be handled but said mill claims take time! Well it has been 8 WEEKS and i had heard absolutely nothing from them and we are closing on our house in 2 weeks. So I called him and he pretty much said that there was nothing that he could do and I seemed to me like he really doesnt care! I am also making a BBB complaint against him and the company! If you want good service and good carpet I suggest you looking somewhere else! Larry doesnt care about repeat business or making sure his customers are taken care of properly or in a timely manner in the first place!
The sales team was wonderful. We were not happy with the individual installing the wood. He worked until ten o’clock at night and then came back at noon the next day and we had him pull up most everything he had done the night before. He put the toliet an it leaked, third time for the wood. He also cut all the wood in the house. Plenty of room on the patio or in the garage. I had to spend a considerable amount of money to clean my home. I have had wood floors put in upstairs and there was no mess.We had to supervise the entire job. Carpet installers represented your company in a professional manner. The store set up payment before my flooring was even started. Thus, paying for a product I did not have. First payment due even before the job started. I incurred a late charge. The finance company said, too bad we paid the store.
Larry offered many options, answered all of my questions, and was very helpful in the process.
Larry was very helpful and explained the carpet very well. Will be getting the Stainmaster.
I had a bathroom and a bar area tiled by Carpet Mill and the experience was fantastic. The installer called ahead and was there on-time. Both installers were super friendly and did a fantastic job. I would come back again.
The crew was very polite and professional. George had me come downstairs a couple times to show me things and make sure that is how I wanted it.
Terrible.Customer service, customer satisfaction, and accountability are not something Carpet Mill does well.I started working with Kyle Jurasek, who unfortunately has zero accountability. On top of being 45 minuted last to the measuring, literally NOTHING aligned to schedule from the measuring appointment forward.Once the carpet installers came in, they forgot to complete one room. When I called back to have this addressed, I was put off for nearly two weeks, then on the second scheduled installation the installers were a no-show.At the end of my patience, I asked that we cancel the final room and refund that amount to which Kyle Jurasek said this was NOT an option as the carpet installers already showed up and left the carpet at my residence. Needless to say, there is no such carpet at my residence.Adding fuel to the flame here, Ive paid in-full and have yet to have services fully delivered and over a month later have yet to see a receipt or warranty information.Ive called the store manager, and Kyle Jurasek. Little to no response, and again - no accountability. Ive yet to receive any communication back from the store manager on the matter.Id add here that the carpet quality is what I felt I paid for, however the padding underneath seems cheap and flat.Save your time and money and go somewhere else. If you DO go here I recommend NOT giving your credit card info, and only pay once Youre totally satisfied. These guys will not do right by you once youve paid.
Larry the manager is awesome. We love our new carpet and couldn’t be happier! The installers were very professional, showed up on time, did an awesome job, and cleaned up the mess the carpet created. Highly recommend using this company to get carpet
Kyle was very receptive to our interest in the carpet installation and did not push us to purchase anything, while also providing as much information as we wanted. Thanks!
Had a great experience from sales, scheduling, installers and Alex who came back to make a few minor corrections. We did laminate flooring and carpet.
Alex, the tech specialist was the best. Friendly and knew his stuff.
Carpet Mill had the product I was looking for at the price I was hoping for. Larry handled the sale from start to finish. Not like other places who have some unknown person come to your house and measure. I would definitely have Larry come to my home for future projects.
Kyle was a pleasure to work with. Overall, this was a very good experience.
Go anywhere else. Was just a customer here for the 3rd and last time. Carpet itself appears ok, but they had 3 different install teams try and fail to get it installed. Eventually hired my own installer so that I could move furniture in after 6 weeks. My professional installer had no problem and was able to fix most of the sloppy install. CMO manager claimed they had done all they were responsible to do and claimed my signing the contract let him off the hook but after some persistence on my part their Dir of Ops discounted half of what I paid the professional to fix CMOs errors. Better than nothing, but a whole lot less than good.
The Director of Sales, helped me re-floor my house. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Larry helped at the home show and answered all of my questions!
Larry was very helpful
