This place is great. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. EXCELLENT selection in cigars. Great environment to lounge or even come in like I did today to enjoy a cigar and get some work done. I will definitely be a regular here. They also have a membership that is only $25 a year and saves you 10% on every purchase. Im very glad to have found a cigar lounge close to me that I enjoy visiting every single time I come.

Great place, very good selection of cigars and newly expanded pipe tobacco. Humidor is huge. Lounge area to stay and smoke if you like. Its like walking into the bar Cheers! and you feel like home. Great group of guys there.

Cool, well designed space with a great selection. When we there the HH team guided us through making our selection in a very well stocked, super clean humidor room. If you love fine cigars and good ambiance its a good find!

Couldn’t ask for a better cigar shopping experience. I’m new to the game and the staff is always helpful. Not trying to push expensive cigars. I’m a 1-2 time a week smoker. So far so good. I keep going back for more.I also bought a mini humidor with the Xikar humidity pack to keep my investment fresh. Highly recommend getting one. It can hold 5 cigars. The Xicor lasts well over a month. Once it gets hard, time to replace it.

Went here for the first time today. Im new to pipe smoking. The guys here were awesome! Spent time with me discussing the different pipes, accessories, process of breaking in a pipe, types of tobacco, etc. I was blown away by how friendly they were. Didnt get into the cigar humidor room, but it looked like a huge selection as well. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent shop. Its hard to find guys that are really into tobacco. Most spoke shops in Austin are actually head shops. This place had a great selection of cigars and pipe tobacco. The staff there is also very friendly and more than happy to answer any of your questions. This is what they want to do and they love to talk about it. Cool laid-back atmosphere and a great place to watch the game.

Great food all around. Appetizers are phenomenal and their mixed drinks are very good as well. Very friendly bartenders and love that they make suggestions and confident about their mixed drinks. Great place for the family but private enough for a date as well. Love the vibe and outdoor seating.South Austin gem!

My first visit and will be back. Friendly, relaxed cigar shop. Great selection, nice casual vibe with helpful folks. While I didnt take advantage this time, it is a BYOB place. Unlike some cigar shops, smoking in the store is typical. Dont be afraid to get up the steep hill from Congress. Its on the immediate right before the top of the hill. There are a few parking spots in front of the store, and there is additional parking at the top of the hill.

A wide selection of cigars (walk in humidor) and very helpful customer service. Being able to bring your own spirits to enjoy while smoking your favorite stick is awesome. My first visit here but will surely return.

I have been to cigar shops in Europe and the USA, Habana House is in my top 3 for cigar selection and cigar-smoker-relaxed-vibe. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable and have guided me to some great smokes. The smoking lounge is open to all, no membership required, just the desire to kick back and enjoy a fine cigar.

Habana house is in a great location.... Shop is elegant with comfortable chairs for lounging while enjoying a fine cigar. Prices are a little high. The staff knew thief stuff and were friendly. I would recommend anyone to visit this establishment.

Great selection of cigars. Many hard to find cigars and a very knowledgeable staff. There is a lounge in the shop as well as some tables. They sell water and soda in the store as well, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks.

Seems like theyre not used to having black people in their establishment, myself and my husband went for a box of cigars and got starred at and watched the whole time. We will not be returning back. Unfortunately they fail to realize our money spends just as well as any other race.

More like old fashion trash talking. Staff and mgmt is knowledgable for you who have no clue on the lingo.Cigar variety: very good. Muy muy bueno. They provide sticks for all pockets and flavors from daily smokes to baller stogies such as davidoffs and padrons.They had some sizes/variances of the casa de Cuba that I havent tried yet. Anytime I can try a new cigar or size (and yes, the sizes hold different flavors).Pricing. Im in Calif so everything is affordable except the Davidoffs, they seem to have MSRP across the nation.Location: South Austin. Not a local so I cant comment well on logistics. The lounge is difficult to spot off of Congress so be aware of map settings.Interior: dark, low key with comfy seating. Had a fridge, kitchen table and a half kitchen. Large ashtrays are available so a patron dont have to move to ash. Lighter and cutter set up is up front making babysitters frequently get up. TVs are available but no live sporting on right now so they were off.Will return if Im in Austin again. Cant wait to visit at night time to exchange cultures with locals and learn more about the area from a natives pov.Travel safely my friends.@cigarcpa

Went to Austin this past weekend to visit a friend and I recommended that we try out Habana House (Research Blvd location...it was closer to us). The walk-in humidor was massive with great selections. Nice lounge in the back with multiple TVs. But the best part of the visit was meeting one of the owners, Jim. My buddy and I talked to Jim for over 2 hours about multiple topics (cigars and the love of the Pittsburgh Steelers mostly). Great guy; extremely knowledgeable about the cigar industry and his take on the different blends from some of the brands. Next time I am in town, I will be making a bee-line to the Habana House Cigar Lounge. A must go.

The Good: Went there on a sunday, had a great experience. Staff member working was quiet initially but opened up when I started asking questions. Showed me around the collection and made a recommendation.The Bad: Showed up pretty close to closing time on Monday, and the owner stopped me at the door with you cant hang out, were closing. I asked if I could come in and buy some to which he agreed. He then stood behind the register glaring at me while I went into the humidor. I told him that I wanted to buy a few boxes and asked for help in selection. He rolled his eyes and appeared pretty upset that I was holding him up from closing the store. So I left without buying anything.Its a shame because had this one guy (the owner) not been so off-putting, this would otherwise have been a great lounge for me to return to.

Excellent place to have a stick or smoke a pipe! I hadnt been here in about a year, but drove up to find that they have expanded into the space next door! The lounge is much larger and has been upgraded with many more recliners, tables, chairs and TV screens! Good Prices and Centrally located. Come and check out the upgraded digs!

Great store this is what all B&M should be. I bought a few sticks and was invited to stay and smoke there. I mentioned I was from out of town and they were trying to give me all the cigar friendly places to smoke. I will be back!

The store and manager were great. There was a batchelor party going on and it caused a frat daddy atmosphere. Would be great without the kids making so much noise!

Selection is amazing. Better than the genuine La Casa del Habano stores Ive visited in Europe, but of course this is everything but Cuban stock, the rest of the tobacco growing regions of the world are fully represented here. Holy cow the humidor is just unbelievable. I could have stayed for a whole day. Lounge was quiet, relaxing, and friendly. Found lots of locals on a quiet Sunday afternoon kicking back and watching NFL games or working on laptops. Spent several hours relaxing and hydrating, smoked an LFD chisel and a Tatuaje broadleaf tainos. Couldnt have found a better way to relax. If you are going to use the lounge there is a water fountain, but if you want a different beverage Id suggest BYO, although not sure on their policy on that, didnt ask.

I was passing through town and made a stop in this lounge. Largest humidor Ive seen so far. Its very relaxed and the staff genuinely want to help you out. Dont go anywhere else in town seriously.

Cozy cigar shop with a huge selection of cigars and knowledgeable staff. Relatively small lounge area, but clutter free and lined with comfortable chairs. A great option for spending an afternoon out of the heat.

Jim helped me figure out what cigar I would like and was spot on in his recommendations. Im new to cigars and learned more in 15 minutes at the store than I did trying to read anything online.In the age of digital media, theres something to be said about face to face conversations in a business like this. Great spot, great vibe, well worth the trip. I will be back for sure.
