I like the food and items that are shelved. Price is very reasonable compared to other stores. The meat is very clean and very nicely packaged. I dont like the fact that I have to wait sometimes on meat prep. I think they need to create a web portal or app to place to check whats available and place order. I can help create something like this for them.

For those who trust this type of stores and buy without checking the expiration date, please look at the attached pictures. My husband bought these a couple of weeks ago. I kept them at the fridge because I could not believe that the expiration date is 2020. When we opened them today, the smell and the color, as you can see, were completely off. This store should not be selling food or meat.

Ive been shopping here for years and its the best place to buy a lot of my pantry staples. The spices, lentils, oil, cheese, (etc etc etc) are priced well and the quality far exceeds whats available at other grocery stores like HEB. My only complaint is the fresh bakery tempting me to buy sweets every time I go there (kidding of course) πŸ˜‰ Love this store!!

I have been driving to this store from Cedar Park area for the past few years because of the international items they sold. There were times when Iwas upset about the quality of the items I purchased but ignored and continued to shop from this store to support the business. Unfortunately, my experience got worse. I bought certain packaged items that had mold and also noticed expired meat packages .When I pointed the expiration date on the meat to one of the owners there, he said it was in the refrigerator so its ok and made me feel like the guilty party. I was giving them feedback so they would take care of their store and customers. I had a few bad experiences with the butchers themselves (very rude especially the young man ;apparently the son of one of the owners). Very poor customer service. The only decent customer service received is from the cashiers. Will not be shopping from here again.

This store should be named Haram market instead of halal market because you really don’t know how much more they charge you for every single item you buy until you really get to know the real price of the goods, for instance there’s juice the price in this haram market is 3$ verses you can get same juice for 1.5$ in Mexican store. This place is really over pricing their items and they don’t know it’s haram I will have to talk to city about this and I have noticing they grow from a small shop to large super market just within two three years it’s just because they sell over priced and most middle eastern when they come to this city they think this is the only store in town that had their needs!

We can get everything there, and from everywhere..especially Mediterranean foods and all products..and the customer service is helpful too..but the thing I dont like there is theres not always a price attached to every product..you have to find it somewhere!! And their weighing balance isnt accurate too!! For meat and poultry...just today I had a small doubt about what I bought and when I weighed it at home I was surprised to find that I payed >12$ more for the meat&poultry because of their inaccurate balance!! (Sometimes its more thanhalf a pound added to your price!!) See pictures!!Maybe they should fix it...and its not the first time!!! I added pictures to check the accuracy of my balance too(And I weighed them in every position to get the correct measures..the result is always the same and definitely incorrect!!) So they need to look at that...its not the best way to keep customers with these inaccurate charges!

I would give 3.5 stars just due to price points on their meats and dairy. My wife misses home foods from Albania and Kosovo. I looked this place up and it seemed to have decent ratings. It is a large store with a lot of ethnic foods, especially from India and Pakistan, none of which I was familiar with. Something my wife really wanted was Albanian sudjuk. The issue with their pricing is that a lot of things are not labeled and its not until you get to the register that you are paying for $18 a lb for meet. I dont know anywhere in the US you spend that kind of money per pound for meet that is imported from countries whose currency is very poor compared to the dollar. My wifes family went to Albania not too long ago and that meat was maybe $3-6. How in the world is this stuff imported here then costs $20? The economics dont make sense to me and I feel people charge for having authentic traditional food such as this meat. Also some cheeses were $20-$30 for feta. Thats ridiculous. I get it, traditional food and all that. But lets be honest. America is the land of dreams and opportunities. How are essentially second and third world cultures coming here, opening up business and then charging 500% on what things actually cost in their country just to make their profits. Capitalism at its finest but seriously, I am cultured enough to know the prices are outlandish.I walked out paying almost $100. I respect all cultures but I know $100 in Turkey or Kosovo goes a long way in those countries compared to the US dollar, so how many people are actually spending that much money in an international market that are from those countries? I will admit I was probably the only American in this store with my Mediterranean spouse. I wasnt expecting to spend that much at all. Take my money!

I will not return to this store. First of all, 90% of their items do not have prices. This is not the way to run a grocery store. When I was given a few prices, I left the store. I can go to many other Indian stores and get decent prices. Obviously the people going there are not aware of this. I enjoy trying different stores so I tried this one. Also, they are requiring masks, which the Governor has stated are no longer required. Not a customer friendly store. I wont be back.

I have been visiting International Foods for two years now. I was first introduced to it by some of the Afghan refugee families I work with, and I shop here with them, with some Syrian families, and on my own. The owner never fails to personally greet me, and he often insists I accept a gift of freshly-baked pastry like the to-die-for baklava. I have absolutely tortured the poor butchers with picky requests from my exacting Afghan cooks, and those men are unfailingly patient and good-natured throughout the ordeal. The store is clean and well-stocked, and has such a fabulous variety of spices and other ingredients--its fun to just walk around and examine things . . . but I always walk out with a bagful, whether Im cooking that night or not! On your way into the store, stop at the bakery counter and order one of their made-to-order sandwich wraps. Itll be ready before youre finished shopping, and youll love it!

I live very close to this little grocery store and one day about a year-and-a-half ago I popped in to get some ingredients for making dolmas for the first time. Not only was the older gentleman very helpful with finding the ingredients, but he was also educational and taught me traditional ways, tips and tricks to have my dolmas most turn out great and not dry. They turned out fantastic by the way.Even my Lebanese friends were devouring them, asking me how I made them. And I dont think they were just being nice either. Score!I have going here every since and always prefer their medjool dates over anywhere else. They are amazing, very fresh and perfect!Their fenukgreek is also really fresh when it is in season too.Every time I need a particular spice or a hard to find ingredient for cooking Mediterranean or Indian food, this is definitely the place that I go to.They are all extremely helpful, personable, friendly and professional.
