Zatar was tasty, but the sandwich I had chose did not have fresh meat or bread had to throw it away after the first bite. They were understaffed so wait times were long one a slow day. Lavash was only served refrigerated. Staff was friendly, but parking needs much improvement especially with our quickly growing population.

Nice family run business, small but packed with goodies. Sandwiches are tasty, will be back for more in the future.Parking is available outside along with a few tables and chairs if you want to eat next to south Lamar. This place has obviously been around for a while, possibly a good sign that its lasted the test of time...

Malek Jr. the owner is so helpful. With his beautiful, gentle smile and muscular thighs, he can direct me to the kafta any day. His bread is always so fluffy although the Armenian cheese is always the right texture... and whenever I put his a olives in my mouth, I remember the flavors of Beirut. Keep bringing smiles to your customers and im sure they will keep coming back.

All your cravings for international foods are here. Great breads made in-house, delicate pastries, Italian cold cuts, teas and Yerba mate, chocolates and lots of regional foods from the world, all in a tiny store worth a regular visit. Cheese, dont forget to try the many varieties of feta and olives. Beware, parking is tight during busy hours.

This place is a hidden gem for Austin. From the outside it doesn’t look like much. Once you are inside you’ll see the authenticity of the Mediterranean market that has great homemade wraps served hot and bakery items. The flaffel are made from scratch and not a mass produced freezer section product. Don’t expect a lot of wasted space inside. Do expect great food operated by a great family packed into a small store. I’ll be back to try more.

They have the best various baklava treats! I feel so welcomed when I first enter the place. They will begin to greet you much more personally when they see u come in again and again. I love seeing the older lady who might be the mom or grandma of the family there. It always makes me feel so happy when I enter to see the sweets to try out! Whenever Im feelin blue, all I have to do is enter the bakery and get something from there.Real reasonable prices for the desserts! Havent tried the gyros or anything but, Ill try it soon enough! One buck for a finger cashew?! Sure! It feels like they actually arent ripping us off. Quality >>>> so, keep it up. Glad I tried it out after seeing it for few weeks across the street where I work.

This is a great place! One of the few remaining mom & pop places in Austin. I go in for all of my gyro accouterments. Lamb, tzatziki, flat bread and then Im home with a feast; DELICIOUS. They also have a large selection of European candies and other stuffs you cant find many other places, sort of a more authentic World Market. The staff know their stuff and are willing to help out with whatever you need.

This is a great place to stop in for a quick lunch. I always get a gyro and save room for baklava for dessert. Its also fun to take time to browse the shelves and see the unique international items they stock. One word of caution, check the expiration date before you buy as a few of the lesser in demand things seem to have sat there a while.I usually make a point to take home some of their homemade hummus and pitas every time I go.
