Anand Bazar store is on west parmer and have variety of Indian spices, regular items and lot more. The people here are ready to help. They guide you to aisle pf the specific things you are looking for. They do refund if things based on receipts but policies may differ based on items purchased. You can get good parking space outside the store which makes it easy to load your stuff in car trunk and can save time.
Excellent selection of spices. Everything anyone could wish for Indian cuisine. Nice assortment of stainless steel utensils. Very organized and very clean!
I like this place to shop because the place is usually less crowded and has good collection and variety of Indian groceries. The staff are nice and help you out if you need help. You ll find all the items from Indian grocery even though it looks smaller than Desi brothers are man pasand. I have noticed some groceries selling snack past expiry, but not here . I guess they stock up right for the demand which is excellent.
My first visit to an Indian grocery store in Austin area. The store is really big and have a great collection of Indian food items and other daily use things. Specially they have a good collection of Indian vegetables. We found the banana flowers ( Mocha in bengali) here. We were also looking for Litchi and found it here.
I am a regular customer. This place has never disappointed me. Fresh Vegetables, variety of Indian grocery items with very reasonable pricing. More importantly excellent customer service. Both owner and lady at cash register are very friendly, courteous, and respectful. Although I live little far from this place, it’s worth shopping from here. Total hassle free and very understanding staff. During these COVID times they were even more helpful and made me feel safe.^Deepak and Family!
This is an all-around good Indian grocery store, well stocked, very well organized and pretty much has anything you can think of or need from basic fresh vegetables and spices to religious items and jewelry. I will say we found certain items to be a little overpriced as compared to some other Indian grocery stores in the greater Austin area, but other than that I would still recommend.
Good place to get Indian grocery. They have good variety of frozen items.
Wonderful little grocery store! Very friendly and helpful staff who follow mask guidelines. This store made me feel very safe and comfortable to be in. Prices are not bad either!
I really enjoyed shopping here. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is also a huge selection of spices and flour and lots of other things.
Full of interesting and delicious Indian food. I like the prices too. I cant wait to enjoy the cornucopia of flavors!
Not everything is available there, I still have to go-to International or Shahi for Shan Red chilli powder and Coriander powder.
The owners and employees of this store keeps the place clean and nicely organized. It was easy to find fresh fruits, vegetables, variety of snacks, spices, frozen foods, grains, nuts, flours, lentils and so on. It makes a one stop shop for all our grocery needs.
Great product and friendly staff. It’s certainly my go-to place for Indian grocery
Please beware of countless expired items on their shelf. I have informed the staffs multiple times about expired products but have never seen them do anything about it. The expired items are just always there!! If you don’t check every single item when you buy, too bad they will barely do anything when you take them back. Also if you compare to other Indian grocery stores like desi brothers and manpasand, this place is quite expensive. The staffs are quite rude especially a nepali guy working there. The owner should really pay attention to this business. I used to be a regular but going to avoid this store from now on.
Great curbside experience. Easy to order and quick to fulfill.
Easy shopping for India Market, friendly staff. Quick parking in front.
Exceptional customer service! Owner walked me around the store directly to the exact shelf to help me locate items on my list when I broached him for help. Much appreciated!

The store is very clean and organized. You can find different veriety with choice. The store owner is very honest and helpful. If you need something perticular product you can find it there. If they dont have in stoke then they do order that product. If you give your contact detail they will reach you once the product is available at store. Definetly recommended.. :)
Our favorite Indian market. Very clean. Courteous and helpful staff.
Best place to buy groceries, fresh vegetables, frozen food and many other.

Outstanding range of products and great customer service. This is the place to go in Austin!
They have a very good collection of Indian items. I found many items which i was unable to find in other stores. They also have diwali offers ongoing so good time to visit.
Any self respecting Indian would not step in this store. I was being friendly with the Nepali guy/manager, there and asked him if he was from India. He was so spiteful and angry. He said he had nothing to do with India and doesn’t want to do anything either.I asked he works in the store and he at least has to pretend that he has some consideration for India. He gets paid and eats from the money he makes here and then he hates India. How can i trust this guy or the store?I have liked this store and went here from far away. Don’t like to be disrespected when giving business. Left without buying anything. Had made good amount of purchase and was continuing. They lost me for good and my friends too.
Great selection of products and very friendly staff.I live in Round Rock which has 2 grocery stores, but still I go to Anand Bazar because they have fresh vegetables and wide variety of dals, frozen items and sweets.
Good indian store. Great customer service with whatsapp grp and what not.

Adequately stocked indian groceries. Very good customer service. You can find all varities of indian Groceries.
Good ethnic culture, very authentic
Nice and clean Indian grocery store near domain area. Owner is always welcoming and you can get refreshments like tea and coffee for free while shopping.
Wish I could give them 0 stars if possible. Me and my wife visited this store few days ago because it is closer to us than Manpasand. Little did we know, they sold expired products. I purchased two rusks worth almost $10 bucks in total and found out it tasted soggy and moldy. Only then I checked the date and it had expired few months ago. Few months people! Not even few days or weeks. That’s a serious food safety hazard. Also they aren’t taking any returns because of Covid-19 situation. Never going in this store again. They lost us for good!
I really like going to this Indian store. The people have been very helpful, and they have more organic selections than any place I have seen. We travel all the way from Round Rock, and come back with our shopping list completely fulfilled.
My first time since the change of management. Its a nice little Indian grocery store with lots of healthy choices. I also found my childhood favorite candy from India which I had been looking for for years
Super place to get indian groceries
One Stop for all your daily needs! Must visit.
Their snacks and groceries are very good..which have good number of brands and collection. But vegetables are not fresh :(That is something i look for so that i can shop all i need for a month in one go
Great store with good variety
When you ask him to bring you a blizzard there bring you something else they never pay attention to what you ordered like today I asked him to give me a slushy was ice they brummy a slushy with no ice and a Burger I asked him not to put no jalapenos and they put hot opinions I need to get to think going and check
Nice and clean 👌All is well
Clean, well arranged and organized Indian super market in North Austin. Staff and owners are super helpful and it has a very wide selection of items that are easy to locate. The samosas at checkout are pretty good too!
Lots of expired products. We have to carefully see which one to buy and which one is expired. I am guessing owner know about this problem but don’t want to remove products and take a loss.Never going here again. Some products don’t even have expired or manufacturing date.
Lil expensive compared to Desi Brothers. Would discourage shopping because you get the same goods for less $$.
Nice store to purchase Indian groceries and vegetables. Prices are little bit at higher side.
Place was not too big where you get lost. We got every item that was in our list. As this was our first visit to the shop we were searching for items, the staff immediately came asking twice if they can help. Good service and great selection of Indian foods and vegetables.
Great Indian grocery. Yummy samosas at the check out. Great selection of items not available at general supermarkets and low prices. Great service.
Great place to pick up Indian food fixins. Good selection of fresh, boxed, and frozen food and meal prep supplies.
This is an Indian store, where you could buy lot vareity of indian grocerries and lot of pickles and also pooja items .
Its a good Indian grocery store. Its not the biggest or with the most amount of selections but it clean, neat, organized. Everyone working at the store is friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive. Theres lots of parking.
Good
This place is so interesting! Ive lived in Texas all my life and getting this fun taste of culture was wonderful. As a vegetarian, there were SO many delicious options (and many were vegan). Great prices, great produce, and amazing hair and beauty products.
Very nice and friendly place. Uncle present at the store is always willing to help.
I wish I knew of this place sooner, its way better than Shai
You will find almost everything one would need for Indian groceries, frozen food, beauty products and Pooja items. All sorted and well placed in the store. Staff is very friendly as well!
A good place to buy Indian grocery. All types of vegetables flour snacks available. Seasonable produced at reasonable rates except for Alphonso mango. Also pretty good variety of spices.Deducting one star for the plants they sell. They have few Indian plants which are sold at same prices. Indian Tulsi plant they sell the smallest one for $5.99 and the larger one too at the same price. Also the staff at reception is rude sometimes .
Well arranged store, clean and lot of options of vegetables and snacks.. they had fresh mangoes and variety of grains and floursThey also sell saplings(tomato, chillies, tulsi, drumsticks etc)
Well stocked well managed Indian Store. Has complimentary masala tea for customers.
0 star actually. For some reason, google/computer will not allow me to post without one star at least. as for the store, in a nutshell, a depressing experience. I have lived in multiple cities in the US and Europe. I have never ever come across such a bad Indian store. very thin on stock. Everything (muri, mustard oil, and curry leaves) I looked for was either not there or of very inferior quality. Everything, from snacks to spices, was over-prized. There will be no next time. period.
Good quality and quantity of Indian food and spices in stock. Reasonably priced.
Nice selection of goods.
Everything is overpriced here, nowadays you are getting all Indian stuff in the H‑E‑B for lesser price than here and please check the expiry dates before you buy something from here I got two times the stuff which is already expired so shop at your own risk and the guy who works in the front is so rude I’m not going to this store again and will not recommend to anyone
Best customer service
Youll find lots and lots of Indian spices, dishes and equivalent items here. Its worth checking out just for the variety that you cant find elsewhere. Ive bought lots of stuff from here, and Ive been pleased with everything.
Its the worst India store I have ever visited..If you buy something, please think twice before buying..Most of the veggies are bad at this place, please check expiration date on frozen stuff..And you if you want to return something, please forget about it. The staff there is worst..You would rather just want to let go your money than speaking to the rude staff there..I would never want or suggest to visit that place.
Pretty comprehensive collection of south Asian grocery items and St fsir prices. Super helpful owner and staff.
You can find all Indian stuffs in there... good customer care as well ... produce are fresh .
Groceries are good. Would have given 5 stars if the variety of vegetables are more.
Of the Indian stores in the northern Austin area, this place is clean, organized, and well stocked. The staff are very nice if you need any help.
Good
Nice -- no frills Indian grocery store...specially the fresh snacks and variety of freshly made sweets
Good place, good choice of items, fresh vegetables availability and good service. Better ventilation will make shopping experience more pleasabt
Good place for Indian groceries.
I drive 10 miles to go to this store, that’s how much I like it. They have a great selection, plenty of parking, fresh products, really fresh produce and very helpful staff. Highly recommend this store!
Good place to get your Indian Grocery. Well stocked. I got billed wrongly for 2-3 items which I noticed a week later. Other than that, this a great place to get ur supplies.
Nice place to shop Indian grocery in Austin. Vegetables need to be more fresh.
Good indian store
All types of groceries and kitchen items of Indian variety you get at rational rate.
Very friendly staff, amazing samosas and veg puffs.
Great selection of Indian stuff. Clean and well stocked. They have their own brands of pre-made spices, foods, breads etc which are pretty good
They have magic masala
Great fine for hard to fine Indian beauty and food products. I always feel like Indiana Jones on an adventure when im in there because im always finding super cool stuff.
I really appreciate that this place is so accessable. They carry a huge range of Hindi products for all your cooking needs! Also prepackaged and frozen foods too.
Sometime you will see price mismatch between what they display and vs they charge, immediately will say sorry if you catch them
I really honestly hate to have to leave this review. I have frequented this store for some time, now, and generally had positive experiences. Aside from having to carefully check dates on items (many expired items in freezer and throughout the store). I liked a lot about this place - until yesterday. I purchased an Iron Kadai here several days ago. The staff kept insisting it was pure iron, even though I could clearly see it had a coating, and didnt really seem like iron. Against my better judgment, and positive past experiences, I went ahead and purchased the pot. It had stickers on it that were nearly impossible to get off, for one. We went through the normal cleaning and preparing the kadai for use, and lo and behold, while cooking my food, it already started to not look quite right. I made Sabji, and it had a terrible chemical taste. Then I noticed an entire area of the coating, (they claimed wasnt there) had just come off, into the food, I assume. At this point, my son had eaten quite a bit, despite the taste, which is worrisome, to say the least. Upon cleaning the kadai afterward, almost all of the coating had come off, revealing that this kadai was DEFINITELY NOT iron at all. I took the pan back, thinking they would remedy the situation, as Im in there fairly regularly. NOPE. They said no refunds or returns on this item. Argued again there was no coating, and that it was pure iron. I said thats ridiculous, as you can see the coating clearly removed from most of the pan. Then I was told they couldnt do anything about it. I was really surprised, and disappointed. The owner, who usually always helps me when Im shopping, didnt even come talk to me. They offered no help, and basically just blew me off. I paid a fair amount of money for a Kadai that potentially poisoned our food, and now has to go in the trash. As much as I love this market, I cannot, will not go back. The VERY LEAST they could have done is a simple apology, and maybe offer store credit, or another item. They dont appreciate their customers at all. Theyre all great, until you have a problem with a purchase, then, well, too bad. I will attach photos. And, no, sales lady, it wasnt something I did. Ive always taken great care with my cooking supplies. A wooden spoon doesnt cause this, inferior products do.
Its a small looking store. Ok for quick stops. Have to be there on the right days for fresh vegetables.
