This is my go-to neighborhood coffeeshop. It literally sits just 3 minutes walk from home. My husband and I get their latte and Thai tea every week. Sometimes we get breakfast here too. For breakfast, he always gets a breakfast burrito and I always get a breakfast muffin. Theres also breakfast bagel with options like onion, cheese for bagels. I prefer the English muffins. The breakfast muffin is a messy kind of muffin, but its a good kind of messiness and I recommend trying it even if youre just looking for something to eat outside of normal breakfast time! Its always fresh, made to order, and consistently good.This place also has punch cards where you get stamped for each drink you get and the 11th drink is on them. The owners are friendly and remember our regulars which always make us feel welcomed. Its closed on Monday and is usually busier on Sat/Sun mornings. Limited outdoor seating area. Just 1 table with 3 chairs in the front of the shop and 2 tables and a few more chairs in the fenced area off the side of the shop (sometimes I see four-legged friends hanging out there too). Love this place ❤️

Customer services is amazing. Love that they have milk tea, boba(could be softer), custard, jellies, etc. before 11am or 12am, which is a benefit that other places do not have. I had their grass jelly, taste like brown sugar. And you can tell their tea is not from a powder. They sale variety of coffee and breakfast food and sweets, which are delicious. My husband said they make the best coffee so far that he has tried.

Ecstatic they reopened finally during this pandemic! The best matcha latte in town and the best breakfast hands down for quick on the go. The workers are magical and ridiculously nice. I love just going in and being able to talk to whoever is working, easy to hold a conversation and lots of good laughs. Also have really good boba tea choices and cheese foam! YUM

I love this place! The service is friendly and welcoming, with the perfect, local coffee shop vibe but its outshined by their coffee. The coffee is always delicious and well made, and the lattes are flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness. If youre looking for a sweet treat, the macarons are a great complement. They also have a board with local businesses and I happened to find one I needed. Check it out if youre in the area (or take the delay and check it out anyways)!

This place deserves its high rating. Its a small family owned cafe, with the family often working. I come here to get breakfast and coffee, which always taste great. The bagels are always the perfect amount of toasted, and they load on the bacon. Compared with insomnia cafe, blue circle is much calmer and low key. Its a much smaller cafe, but there is always somewhere to sit. The workers here are very friendly, quick and competent, while insomnia employees seem to mess around and take longer on orders. Blue circle is the type of place where you can come in just a couple times, and the staff will remember you and greet you warmly every time.

This new renovation looks good on these guys. 👌🏽 For a good-sized breakfast burrito and a medium coffee, I spent 10.75. WHAT I LIKE MOST, is their enclosed gate area for my dog to sniff around off-leash safely while I have my coffee. Why isnt this already a thing here in Portland/the burbs??!!

Came here for the first time after finding out they have boba milk tea. It’s a clean spot with a large menu. I got the small black milk tea with boba for $4. It had a strong syrup taste to it. Otherwise I did taste the black tea. Boba was good, it was pretty sweet due to the syrupy taste, if they can, I’d get 50-70% sweetness soon.

Found this place from a google search, coffee and breakfast. The staff, especially the one with long and shaved hair, were super nice and welcoming. The natural sunlight, quiet atmosphere, big tables provided a great place to study. I preferred the wood chairs over the metal ones especially when sitting for a long time. Overall, a five star place.

This place has recently become my favorite breakfast place in hillsboro. Its also the most affordable of them all. Simple breakfast options. Great coffee(long bottoms) great ambience and friendly staff

This is my favorite place to grab some coffee before I head to work. Always greeted as soon as walk through the door and it’s followed by excellent service! Their breakfast burritos hit the spot! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good coffee or a quick bite to eat.

My first time there and they burnt my bagel. It seemed really unfriendly to younger generations. Theres was an old couple there that kept giving us very bad glares and made us uncomfortable and feel unwelcomed. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Absolutely adore this coffee shop! Their signature tea with the cheese foam is honestly the best boba Ive ever had. I found myself stopping here on the way to or from work at least three or four times a week. The couple that own the shop are so sweet as well! Cannot say enough good things about Blue Circle.

I LOVE this place. Their drink menu is impressive (large variety), and their breakfast food fairly priced for what you get. My favorite is the crispy bacon sandwich on the jalapeño bagel, and the Oregon matcha drink.The service is great and the atmosphere is nice as well, and there is even a fenced porch for you and your dog!

Friendly, helpful staff and a great selection of drink options you cant get most places. A rare find, particularly in the suburbs.I recommend the salted cheese foam cold brew. Turn this treat upside down a couple of times and enjoy!

The food is also note worthy with staple breakfast sandwiches, but with high quality taste. Seating is limited so if you want to hang out on the weekend, be mindful of busy times.

I do not have strong desire for coffee or milk tea, however, I couldnt help myself to get a cup of coffee or milk tea when I pass blue circle. Recently, I am addicted to their Mocha oat milk tea. OMG. It is SO SO SO good. HAVE to give it a tryThey are using really high quality milk and tea for their milk tea instead of artificial flavors which are very common for many milk tea shops out there. My son who would only ask burritos from blue circle and could finished the whole thing by himself.Overall, you cant go wrong whatever you are order. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

The homemade scones were incredible. I bought one on a whim and was astounded. Not because I didnt think it would be good, but because it was, dare I say, THE best scone I had ever tasted - it wasnt nearly as dense as I would think a scone to be. It was light, moist, and made with sweet marion berries that made it so well balanced. I was surprised. I was caught off guard. This wasnt something I found in hipsterville or downtown San Francisco - this was in a small local coffee shop in Beaverton.

I love this place! I have been coming for a very long time. I often spend many hours working here. I know all the people that work here and they all know me. Its great finding a place where you are more than just another credit card purchase. The breakfast food is also very delicious! I would definitely recommend stopping by.

I wish they opened earlier. The poor coffee shop hours are the only reason for the 4 stars.

It was packed but moved pretty quickly. Everyone was working hard and moving fast. I got the sea salt and cheese foam cold brew and its blowing my mind. Its sweet and slightly salty and creamy. Amazing!

What a fun place to get breakfast! The staff is friendly and the tables are clean. I think their Blueberry Matcha tea is my new favorite drink. I will definitely be spending more breakfasts here in the future.

One of the only things I miss about living in SE Portland is the variety of non-chain coffee shops and restaurants. Taming of the Brew fulfills that needs. Their cafe has a nice atmosphere and is usually pretty quiet. I love their Cup of Mud drink, and their breakfast burritos are really good.

Wonderful place to go for coffees. This is the only place I know that offers oat milk. I mean OAT milk not goat milk! The flavor is creamy and very healthful. Give it a try! The owner is friendly and very helpful. When I am over that way I make it my first stop. Great service, wonderful drinks and the food looks delicious!

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Took 20 minutes just for a latte and they even got the drink wrong. I asked for a iced chai tea and got a hot one. Only I didn’t have 20 more minutes to stand there and wait for another one. Better off making your drinks at home. If I could give it 0 stars I could. Also the cashier just takes your order and walks away. No confirmation besides a receipt slip, no greeting, no asking anything. Don’t come here.

After reading the Google reviews, I wanted to love this place, but it was just a standard coffee shop. decent breakfast burrito, decent coffee. nothing to write home about. maybe we shouldve tried the scones. at least it was better than Starbucks.

Also, they take the time to hand brew even blended coffee drinks, something no other place in town does. Sandwiches are delicious too!Feedback: hand make your own blending drink stabilizer so that it doesnt contain sugar, and get even better beans - your coffee making is already good enough, just improve it by a better roaster (written while they had Longbottom).

I’ve been here multiple times and usually have a good experience but I came in for a to-go order and it took almost 30minutes for a breakfast burrito and a bagel with cream cheese. I know they werent super backed up because multiple came in and ordered after me and left with their food before me. This wouldn’t be a huge issue by itself but not once did I get an update on why my food was taking so long. Really frustrating experience.

When my wife and I dont feel like making breakfast in the morning, this is one of our favorite places to go. We especially like the breakfast burritos! The coffee and tea selection is very nice, also.

This shop used to be great, but recently Ive noticed under the new management the quality of the coffee has gone down a bit, the coffee is served much cooler, which some may like but personally the coffee was just too cold. Though the employees are very warm and welcoming along with the non coffee drinks seem to have gone up a little in quality.

Popped in here for a quick Chai in the morning on the way to work. I also grabbed a sandwich for lunch that day which was delicious! Would definitely visit again.

Went in for a beard trimming. Not a scheduled appointment and they were open to take care of my request. Was apprehensive about going anywhere for a trimming. They did a great job and the price was well worth it. I will be back for a straight razor shave soon.

I will also be stopping by once a week for Haku...amazing layered custard drink treat...while I catch up on some work or reading. This local business is soooo worth supporting! The owner has such a wonderful energy...so hospitable and genuine. The shop and is pleasant and not over-crowded. The menu is innovative and delicious. Just tried this place for the first time and I feel terrible I have not stopped in sooner. My food was prepared fresh, unlike other shops in the area who just reheat premade breakfast items. Actually, my food was still piping hot when I arrived home. I tried one of their bagel breakfast sandwiches and my boyfriend had a breakfast burrito. Both got 5 stars from us. The staff was very friendly and were happy to help a new customer navigate their menu. We will definitely be back.
