Absolutely fabulous experience! I have celiac disease and the sweet gal up at the front took her time explaining which syrups were gluten free and showed us their yummy pastries they get from petunias bakery (100% dedicated gluten-free establishment). She recommended a vanilla steamer and OMG. No joke it was AMAZING!!!! Like I definitely have a new favorite drink to enjoy and can’t stop thinking about it!!! And the whole staff was seriously so kind and sweet they just make you feel so happy to be there! This is the place to be at guys!!!
Appreciate this smaller coffee shop. It makes smooth handcrafted drinks and has excellent pastries. Ive been here many times and so far have not been disappointed.Had their pop tart pastry and cappuccino recently and really enjoyed both. If you cant do dairy, I would recommend doing a cappuccino with the soy if you can. Froths up nicely.
Lionheart Coffee in the the Parkside Plaza on SW Scholls Ferry Road is a great satellite location. It is definitely central to many different areas and has easy access to Hwy 217.What is so great about locally owned businesses is the true customer care that you receive.Whether about your drink selection or about what kind of four-legged family you have! And the drinks here are always excellent!
Went to Lionheart Coffee this morning and had a great experience! The customer service was wonderful and the associate talked us through the different roasts and drinks available. The coffee they recommended was delicious and fruity. Would come back for the customer service alone but the pour over was also excellent. Come here!
Stopped in on the way to the mall with my boyfriend. One of the cutest little coffee shops I’ve been into. The baristas working this morning were super sweet and genuine. And to top it off, we both had one of the best coffees ever. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re ever in the area, it’s worth a stop for the coffee connoisseurs🤗
Staff is always super nice and laidback. If you’re getting a hot coffee, ask for the whipped cream—it’s the best! The only thing I’d recommend is that they put out a menu. I’ve heard lots of customers come in asking for one, and when staff recommends just telling them what you’re looking for, sometimes they’ll say they can’t make it. A basic menu would solve this, I’m sure!
This was one of my favorite coffee shops before I temporarily moved away and ended up working as a barista. I revisited this place and realized I appreciate it even more after gaining some barista experience. Ive had a wonderful interaction with every single employee at every single visit. I got an iced chocolate mocha w/ a splash of oat milk which was super tasty!
What an beautiful coffee shop, it is absolutely cozy inside and the coffee is 5 stars, it is smooth and rich in flavor. The owner is the nicest guy and extremely welcoming. Definitely coming back again many more times.Thank you 😊
I came visiting this place and I wanted to find some good coffee in Portland. I searched and came across this place and read that it was new but also read some good reviews and thought that me and my girlfriend would check it out. I was not sure what I wanted so I asked one of the baristas that worked there and he suggested turmeric late with oat milk and a shot of espresso. This was a great suggestion. Almost tasted like a chai but it did not have any spice to it. But it was silky smooth. I would definitely recommend this. We also ordered the Unusual Sandwich. I got it without the cheese and it was fantastic. The apple pear butter was amazing and I would order it in a heartbeat again.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The service was exceptional and it had a great ambiance to it.
Great coffee, friendly baristas. The vanilla latte is my favorite. If you are planning on drinking at home rather than right away order it extra hot because their coffee usually isnt super hot to begin with. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The vanilla bean scones are to die for!
Truly wonderful bunch of people here. Says a lot as someone who has worked here. The coffee is always amazing. There is something for everyone. The owner has gone above and beyond to ensure staff and customer safety throughout Covid. Truly cares about the community surrounding Lionheart.
This place was awesome!! First time trying it and had a Mocha and their Unusual breakfast sandwich. Delicious! The Mocha is smooth and flavorful. Loved the prosciutto on the sandwich. Will be back more often.
I didnt visit Lionheart Coffee Company. I was next door getting my hair cut. Will give you 5 stars anyway. 👍
Coffee is great, baristas are very friendly and skilled, wont disappoint.
They can make anything, anyyythingg. Best
This is a great coffee place. I love meeting with clients at this location. My favorite thing is what they do in the community, During the shutdown they bought and made lunches for children who were receiving them at school at no cost. All at their cost, just to help.
Good plave to grab coffee and work remitely3. Wi fi works good
Lionheart and its team is so committed to serving their community, both through coffee and charitable actions. The coffee and pastries are fantastic, local, and sourced with intention. It’s clear they care about the safety and health of their staff and patrons, and have made great efforts to maintain their quality and hospitality while also ensuring safety measures are in place.
Great coffee, always a good place to chill.
Grand daughter took me here. was nice. tasty! love my grand daughter thanks.
Mission driven, community supporting, local coffee and tea, friendly staff and dedication to making the most tasty drinks. I’ve been a fan of Lionheart since they first opened and will continue to be one! They are a destination when I am out in Beaverton... easier to get to since they have two locations!
Good local coffee and friendly staff
No menu. Coffee tastes sour for some reason. Really rude female worker there with the short blonde hair.
Great coffee and friendly barista!
I really love going to Lionheart Coffee. Weve ordered off the app and its easy, especially through this pandemic. The cycling coffees is a double edge sword, I love that I get to explore new coffees but its not a guarantee Ill find something I love each time. Most of the time though, were pretty happy with the selection and service.
Friendly baristas, wonderful espresso, and a cheerful, comfortable, modern vibe. I saw at least three different good roasters coffees around, they have fabulous dairy free options (including almond and oat milk), and understand that cappuccinos arent supposed to be 16 ounces. ;) Im a huge fan and want to come back again and again. Thanks for making my morning wonderful, guys.
Great people, great coffee. Nice neighborhood locations to hang out at as well.
I came in looking for espresso bean options and was given a lot of great advice. Thank you!
Honestly, this place serves some of the best coffee in Beaverton! They have friendly staff to chat with (if theres no line). So glad they have 2 locations now. I also learned that they have kombucha on tap but when I went to the Scholls location sadly they were out. Im looking forward to going back soon!
Best coffee. Rad people. Great food.
Great coffee and awesome staff. Im all about a great quality cup of Joe, I like my coffee black and prefer the taste of coffee from specific regions. Brandon helped me up front and was helpful and friendly. They carry coffee beans from a few roasters (water avenue/heart to name a couple) and they have rotating coffee beans and roast so there is always something new to try.
I’m sure the coffee is fine but they still have indoor dining closed even though they are allowed to have it open. Strikes me as lazy by management to not open up as most other eateries/coffee shops are open
This place is so watermelon. My favorite batista is Marcus. He is legit the MOST watermelon!
Excellent pour-over this morning. I searched far and wide for a coffee shop in Beaverton/Tigard that offers specialty coffee (nothing fancy, just good quality filter coffee). Lionheart killed it! The barista was super knowledgeable and efficient. Thanks guys - GREAT COFFEE!
Best option for delicious coffee in suburbia. they offer coffee from multiple roasters, that pairs well will pastries from a few bakeries (including gluten free and/or vegan options).kind and knowledgable staff make this a place to visit whenever im in the neighborhood. thanks yall! ✌️
After the first sip, I had to stop and marvel at how good the oat milk iced latte was. Their staff is very nice, and it’s pretty cool how they have local art on the walls. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area!
I came in for the first time to have an espresso. The shop was busy but I was immediately greeted very warmly and told of the tasting notes of the two espresso blends when I asked. I believe the barista’s name was Madeline. She tested and adjusted the espresso and took her time to ensure it was perfect. I’ve been to my fair share of cafes in the greater Portland area and this has been my best espresso and best experience so far. Luckily it’s right next to home so it’ll be my new regular spot. Thanks for the great experience!
Delicious coffee, great scones, and friendly service. Will definitely return!
Horrible coffee, rude staff.
Good-tasting coffee. Not bitter, and smooth. The staff is nice. Because of government restrictions related to Covid-19, one can only get to-go orders.
I will drive out of my way to go to lionheart every time Im in the beaverton area! Ben the owner has done a fabulous job of creating a friendly shop focused on bringing you high quality coffee from a rotating list of local roasters. They have classes and cuppings and special events which really add to the special thing they got going on.
I visited and was felt welcome immediately. I am thrilled that not only are there gluten free pastry options, but that they offered New Cascadia bakery gluten free bread for their breakfast sandwiches. Delicious! I have been back twice in a week!
Really good coffee from local roasters.Edit:12/4/19 I just came into the new Watson location. The owners have done a fabulous job creating a bright open coffee shop in an old building. The service and coffee is equal to the location on Scholls. Both fantastic options for coffee. The Watson location has much more seating.
I compromised: the coffee was watery and tasteless, but the staff are absolutely lovely and Id honestly go back just to support them.
Some real latte finally, and super nice staff
Great coffee and always very friendly service!!!
Best coffee and Atmosphere in the Portland Area! Ben is awesome and his staff are very upbeat and attentive. Ill be back for sure!
We’ve had a hard time finding good coffee in this area. They use sterling beans which is not far off from stumptown in terms of a smooth roast. It’s worth a visit.
Had high hopes but were disappointed. First there are no menus indicating price or selections of coffee, bagels, sandwiches, etc. Second, they state they have breakfast sandwiches on their website but not that they are pre-packaged then reheated. Third, we didnt ask for to go bagels but were given bagels without cream cheese slathered on them but with a small package of cream cheese to spread. Im sorry but if your going to say your different and you dont do menu boards or even a small menu your going to have to do better than this. The saving grace was that the Coffee was very good though.
This company is amazing! The coffee is great! The owner is buying brown bag lunches for kids during this of hardship for kids and families. He is a beacon in the community!
The place is nice inside. the drinks were okay, but not anything to write home about. The Apple pastry is good. If you are in the neighborhood, it is worth checking out.
Exceptionally good coffee, delightful people, pleasant atmosphere; Lionheart is an all-around shining example of a great small local business that my wife and I happily support. Could not recommend more strongly!
Always a great experience
I visit many times and every time the staff is inviting and happy! The vibe is chill and good for many different settings including board gaming and remote office on my computer. The experience bar is an excellent idea and execution for a suburb area! Allows locals to learn about the complexity and enjoyment in coffee without needing sugar.Every month highlights a different roaster, which means you at least need to come every month to try each roaster and learn about your local roasters!Cannot say enough about this spot
Love that they showcase rotating local roasters - its so fun! Theres always delicious drip coffee & espresso here and inside is beautiful. Great place to catch up with a friend or do some reading/working
My mocha was delicious, but the service was deplorable. I walked in and they had no visible menu, so I asked the barista what she recommended and she said Well weve got coffee and stuff... Then the WiFi didnt work, and the parking is horrible.
Best coffee in all of Portland! Their vanilla latte will seriously make your day 10x better. From their dark roasts to their tea offerings this place is outstanding! They also have great sweets and delicious bagels! (Always get the salt bagel) and I didnt even mention how great the staff is, everyone is so nice! Lionheart is a must try.
Its tough to find quality, thoughtful coffee out in the burbs. Lionheart stands apart. Excellent local roasters paired with friendly, unassuming service and a comfy atmosphere. Great for a coffee break during the workday.
Great place Ben is an amazing owner and the coffee is highest quality. Gino Reyes
Great drip coffee, I like mine black so flavor matters. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Better for socializing coffee shop stops, rather than a place to come and get some work done at.
I love this place for a treat. They have Oatly (one of the only places around that does!), and they make an amazing cardamom mocha with it. AND they carry Petunias baked goods, so vegans can have coffee and a snack!Everyone is incredibly friendly and kind. Ive never had a negative interaction with anyone behind the counter, even when they were getting ready to close and I was straggling. Definitely recommend!
Not a ton of seating, tables are nice to sit at but maybe not for studying. Had to leave because there were only 2 wall outlets for charging. Coffee was good, appreciated that there were lots of options for brewed coffee in addition to espresso beverages
Not only some of the best coffee Ive ever had but also some of the nicest people Ive ever met!
The front of the store is very unassuming but its what is inside that counts. The coffee shop is nice and the people are friendly. If a mocha is what you are searching for look no further as this place has the best one around. They also serve small bites and other beverages as well.
Went there to scope out a place to get coffee beans. Wound up getting a delicious cold brew. Delicious. The guy seemed super informed and passionate about coffee to the point where I felt his location was doing him a disservice (not sure how many coffee-heads where he is right now vs being actually in Portland). That said they have there own signature coffee as well as a rotating from a different Oregon roaster every month. A gem to have nearby. Next time Ill try a different coffee and a bagel. Probably pick up some beans.
Loved the way the coffee was made with what l requested.. They do know how to make customers happy.
Very tasty iced latte. Nice service and a cozy location. I would definitely come back again.
Coffee technophiles haven. Pour overs. Guest roasters. Cuppings. Yet SUPER non-snobby... does not compute. Only gripe... closes at 6 (5 on weekends).
Love the coffee, atmosphere, music selections, and baristas! Do yourself a favor and check this place out👌
Good coffee with good variety. Gets a little busy, but is worth the wait.
Love the perfectly pulled espresso, making chocolatey, smooth coffee.Quiet and great for introverts and studying/ working during the day.Best coffee in Beaverton and genuinely friendly staff. Their pastries are even better than they look. Try the chocolate raspberry scone.
From the reviews, I was excited to bring an out of town guest here. I was so embarrassed, as this was the weakest, worst tasting coffee I have ever tasted. My first clue should have been the sample, as I could see the bottom of my cup. It just tasted like warm, dirty water.....7-11 coffee tasted better than this!! Thinking that perhaps the espresso would be better, I bought the beans, and the flavor was awful.
Their coffee is delicious! They feature different companies. They also have dairy free options like soy or coconut. The baristas are super nice too! I have been a few times and always get good service.
Lionheart Coffee serves some of the best espresso drinks on the Westside. One of the few local places that do pour overs. They rotate local roasters beans which I think is excellent for the community. The seating is limited and some not very comfortable. A solid choice for a decent coffee or espresso drink. The staff is pleasant and knowledgable.
Had never been here. I believe it is rather new. Its a pretty nice coffee shop nothing really out of the ordinary. It pretty much looks like your typical coffee shop. (which isnt a bad thing) The reason why i gave it 5 stars was the service. The man at the counter (an older man) was very nice and professional. Like really nice. This is something you just dont find anymore esp at fast places. Only thing is i kinda wish they were open later. They close at 6 and sometimes i drink coffee way past that hour.
Lionheart isnt cheap but I am not lying when I say its the best coffee Ive had. Try the Ethiopian beans with a Kalita pour over--youll be blown away by the blueberry that comes through. My son loves the little wooden train set. Grab a coffee and walk the trail through Greenway Park for a nice morning.
Great coffee, better people.
Very friendly employees and great coffee. Also just a great vibe!
Really good coffee and a friendly staff! I love supporting local small businesses and this is the perfect place to grab a quick coffee, maybe a cookie and to plug in the laptop. The people who work here are always really friendly - making it an even better experience!
Ive had most of the beverages on the menu. All are top notch. If you are into peppermint mocha then that is the one to get. For the holidays they have peppermint whipped cream and a peppermint infused marshmallow which they toast right in front of you. #writehomeabout
Not only my favorite coffee shop in the Portland area but also my favorite coffee shop across the states. The coffee is simply amazing and the baristas are very personable! If youre looking for a good conversation and an even better cup of coffee, Lionheart is the perfect place :)
This coffee is life! It got my husband and I thru the first 2 months with a newborn haha. Cappuccino so smooth its like youre drinking liquid heaven. If you can appreciate real coffee and not that sugar filled stuff that other places serve then this is where you need to be.
We had the most excellent mocha in a very long time - we mostly drink mocha and like to compare places. Service was good and quick. Highly recommended.
This place is the bees knees. They got me hooked on oat milk in my latte. So creamy!! Their little breakfast sammiches (yes I spelled it that way on purpose) are delightful. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often.
Good, but not special in spite of being higher priced.
We always enjoy the coffee from this shop, last time we got the Blackberry Truffle mocha. Great and friendly people behind the counter.
