I just bought a Honda CR-V hybrid from Henry Ajayi at Bowie. What an exceptional experience it was. Henry was personable and knowledgeable. He worked hard to provide us with excellent customer service as did the sales manager. As we worked through the deal, I never heard the word no. We told him what we wanted and he delivered. I will also give a shout out to the finance guy - again friendly, helpful, and personable. I definitely recommend him and this dealership!.
I think Dar Cars at Bowie have been trying very hard to improve customer service which was poor during the height of Covid. When they couldn’t repair my CRV, they gave me a terrific offer for a brand new car. Rodney Pryor was an excellent salesman and the manager I dealt with made the deal happen.

Had a great experience at Honda of Bowie. We were able to get a great deal in spite of the chip shortage, and we love our new car! We worked with Jade and Ryan Kelly on the sale; both were knowledgeable and friendly and were able to answer all of our questions. The manager, Payam Marandloui, got us a great deal and the finance person, Senayet Begashaw, was personable and well versed in all of the warranty options and their intricacies. We have bought several cars at various dealerships over the years, and this was definitely one of the more pleasant experiences.

So Ive tried so many times to give this dealership the chances to prove to me that its worthy of my business and my loyalty. And they just cant live up to my expectation I guess. They are rude, and dismissive and really do not care about customer service. I called yesterday to the accessory department to see if they had a particular part for my car and the gentleman was incredibly rude not interested and less than helpful. After he finally gave me the information about my part I asked how much it would cost to be installed and he said he had no idea that I would have to talk to service, I asked if he could find out he said no that he would transfer me. Needless to say I never made it to service to find out. So instead I called Honda in Laurel and did the same exact thing and had the most amazing experience the gentleman was helpful courteous and more than willing to find out how much it costs to install. He was even willing to order the part without me paying for it first because I wanted to pay in cash thats how customer service should be. Even though DARCARS is under New Management I dont think they have done enough to make significant changes geared towards the customer. I challenge them to call their own dealership and work through different scenarios not telling the staff members who it is or and see how rude uninterested and dismissive they are,.then maybe they will get it. I dont know what else to do except to finally take my business elsewhere and say goodbye to a long but very tumultuous relationship with this subpar dealership. I suggest other people run to any other Honda dealership except this one.
Worst experience ever. Was sent with the wrong VIN (huge deal), no PDI done, no one helped to set up the features of the car. They do not do their checks and balances, sloppy with paperwork. No one answers your calls after selling you the car or answers simple questions. Currently riding on expired temporary tags. Still not able to contact anyone or get new tags. Beware of buying from here. I wish I had read the other reviews before buying, I would of never stepped into this place. This place needs new management and needs to be audited for its crooked business practices and for being so unprofessional and unresponsive. They will take your money and run so please take my advice and go elsewhere.
The entire staff was amazing. My saleswoman was knowledgeable and patient. She explained the process and assessed my needs to get me the best vehicle for me. The GM stopped by and introduced himself and extended his assistance. I highly recommend and will definitely shop again.
I walked into the Dealership late at around 8 pm and met Elijah ( the exceptional salesperson) who assisted me very professionally even though i was tough on negotiations. I had my car serviced at DARCARS Honda of Bowie a few times for regular maintenance and also a windshield replacement. My service advisor is Tierra Butler, she is the best at that dealership. She is very knowledgeable and always has my car ready on time, and if theres any issue she will always call me to let me know in advance. I will continue to be a customer for as long as a own my Honda Clarity.

We had a difficult experience here recently. But, after some additional conversations (and another transaction), we were able to work out an acceptable solution. It was one of those - It could have been avoided, but Im glad that it is resolved - kind of customer service experiences. Our previous three car buying experiences here were all good.

First-time car buyer and DARCARS was the second Honda dealership I went to after a bad/weird experience the day prior. I knew what I wanted and had done solid research, but Willian was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and very easy to work with. Together with Marcus, we made a deal where I felt comfortable with my purchase. Due to supply chain issues exactly what I wanted wasnt there, but they made it work. In the following weeks Marcus was communicative and fast getting the follow-up tasks knocked out. Im sure he regrets giving me his cell phone number, but nonetheless we got it knocked out :) I never thought Id be recommending a dealership to anyone, but here we are. Go buy a car from Willian. Also the finance gentlemen was very nice and had a great sense of humor. 10/10.
Less than a month ago I had a bad flat tire on our 2013 Civic. My husband and I were concerned that the wheel might have been damaged, so we opted to bring the car to Honda rather than to a tire shop. We were advised (perhaps not surprisingly) to purchase four new tires, which we agreed to do. In the 26 days since, not one, but TWO of these new tires have gone flat. With two strikes, the service department should be bending over backwards to rectify this by towing the car, double-checking their work, and even acting apologetic. Nope. Just a bring it back on Monday. We have been strongly considering trading our other car in for a CR-V, but we are definitely rethinking at this point. Not sure we want further interactions with this dealership.
Chrystal is an amazing saleswoman. I have dealt with many a salesperson and she made the time fly by. The process went smoothly and in 3 hours, finished all transactions to take the car home. Her team is very flexible and Senayet, the finance manager, also explained things in a clearcut manner.Even though we live over 30 minutes away, we will be coming here for any and all future transactions.

I have had two cases with Darcars of Honda were the repairs on my vehicle have been done very unprofessionally. The first time they changed my oil the cap was left off and the fumes quickly entered the car. The second time they forgot to place the lug nuts on my tire causing my car to wobble very badly. I was so scared because I didnt know at first what the issue was. I placed my trust into Darcars of Honda and this is the second time that they have dropped the ball. They state on their website and when you call in the safety of their customers, which they dont. That is false advertisement and they placed me in danger not once but twice.
The staff seem like they dont care.This place service has went way down. I waited over 3 hours for a simple oil change. After 3 hours I check to see how much longer just to be told they havent even took the car back yet. Unbelievable, I told them to give me my car back and I went somewhere else and got it done in 20mins. Never going back!!!

Worst experience ever. Bought a car on July 4th. They messed up on the interest rate; they lied, I had to come back the next day to fix it. The manager was trying to force different packages when I never requested. They are misleading customers. Came back to day September 2 for my tags. They never submitted the paperwork for my tags, but they charge me for it. Wow. I bought a oil change package and when I call to make an appointment they are telling me I dont have it. Omg.I requested to talk to upper management and all they are saying that they are sorry. That they cant work on my tag situation until the person comes back from break so after all of this I have to wait. They cant get anybody else to work on my issue. Worst possible service now Im scared to bring my car here for services cause they might do something to it.I had to come back and update my review. You wont believe this but here it goes. After I posted the google review and I came back for my tags that they made for me today. The general manager ask me since I work with customers how does it feel to Get a bad review, and I reply it is not good but is needed when too many issues occur. Then he asks me what location I work at since I was wearing a t-shirt from my employer. And I reply, why does that matter. I said are you going to put a bad review on me now and he reply Im a bigger man. I said thank you and he walked away. Very salty I cant believe a general manager would do that.
The experience of purchasing my Pilot was VERY pleasant! All thanks to the general manager, Gary!! He and his staff were excellent! Everyone was pleasant. I felt comfortable from the moment I entered the building to the moment I left! Car buying can be stressful for me. But Gary was very understanding and patient with me! I have been a loyal customer of Honda for the last several years and I will say that the company does not show loyalty back to its customers. Before I began I will say that the service lady was nice. Now I had an appointment today at 7:45 and I was there on time to drop my car off and did not receive my car back into 4:30. I had to buy to new tires and when I received my car back I noticed my tire caps where missing. I bought special tire caps for my car just for the people there to lose them. I as well as others in this world work hard for there money and for something to go missing is unacceptable I do not care how small it might me. I THINK I Might have to start taking my car elsewhere, not to mention my car was left with black grease marks all over it that I had to walk around my car and get off. I was suppose to have a warranty on one of my tires and was told that was false. So I cant even trust I am being told the right information

The customer service here was upsetting. I had a scheduled appointment for 10am for a simple service. I opted for their complimentary shuttle so I wouldnt have to wait. Almost 2 hours later and I am still waiting for the shuttle. Finally I ask the employee where my car is and he says it had been pushed back in priority because I was going with the shuttle. What sort of respect do these people have for their customers time?? Even if I was on the shuttle I expect that my service would still be provided in a timely manner. He apologized and told me my car was pushed back up in priority, but it has been almost 3 hours of waiting and still no car pulled up. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.. do not recommend unless you have all the time in the world to wait around for bad service*update: I pulled in at 10am and pulled out at 1:40pm.

This has been the worst car buying experience ever. We pick three cars off the lot which had major issues with them they had to fix. We purchase 2 of the cars with a promise to fix the issues and they did not fix them all. Financing was an absolute headache to handle and theyve asked us to bring back my boyfriends vehicle TWICE now after we did the paperwork and took posession of the vehicle. The second time it seems the loan company and darcars are not communicating properly because I am getting 3 different stories. This has been the absolute worst car buying experience of my life.

Purchasing a car is both an exciting and painful experience. That being said, Yoseph Habtemariam, a salesman at DARCARS Honda, made our experience very pleasant. He was extremely professional, kind, friendly, funny, energetic, outgoing and PATIENT. When I say patient, I truly mean patient. My wife and I arrived at DARCARS around 6pm and I dont think we left with our new car until after 11 pm (DARCARS closes at 9). Yoseph was there for us the entire time, from looking at cars, doing test drives, dealing with the painful financial negotiations, and lastly, putting the bow on top of our brand new SUV. Yoseph is not your typical pushy salesman, but rather a down to earth person who doesnt pressure you whatsoever. If you find yourself wandering into DARCARS Honda in Bowie, definitely look for Yoseph.P.S. Also want to say thank you to the Sales (I dont recall his name) and Financing (Daniel) managers that worked with us as well. They were very good to work with.

Wonderful experience! I went in because I saw a car while driving by that I was interested in. The sales rep Jade was outside waiting when I pulled in. She was so helpful in getting me all the info about the car I was interested in, setting up the test drive, and then stayed with me during the entire process, helping to answer all of my questions. Jade plus the whole team at DARCARS did everything to make sure I left in the car that I loved, and I did. Highly recommend this place and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Of course buying the vehicle went smoothly, but god forbid you get in contact with anyone if you need your hard tags, or something isn’t working in your vehicle. If I were you, I’d go to another dealership. Wish I would’ve.
I would have rated 5 stars based on the Sale, quality and professionalism of the staff however I must comment on not being the offered the maintenance package that I believe should be a standard offering when purchasing a new vehicle. I didnt not realize this is until my purchase had been finalized. I was offered other packages such as a tire replacement package. The maintenance package would have been more appealing if offered.

We purchased a new Honda from this dealer yesterday, and it was a complete and surprising pleasure! The sales manager, Marcus, was straightforward and spot-on from the initial phone call to the in-person sale. Jade has an incredible knowledge of the cars complex features! She expertly walked us through a demo, and gave us info we hadnt heard from any other dealers we visited. Even the finance person, Senayet, was knowledgable and great to deal with. Quick edit-for the finance department-it will be 2 months next week since I purchased the car-still waiting on paperwork and the MVA registration to be mailed to me.....left my 9th message yesterday...still no call back.
Very good service and courteous and pleasant staff that makes sure youre aware of costs and time considerations. The shuttle was very delayed and ended up having to use a car service to head to work but outside of that a pretty good experience. I did have a great shuttle service experience returning to the dealership to pick up my car so that was a plus but would definitely appreciate greater communication on shuttling in the future.
I attempted to get my car serviced at Darcars Honda of Bowie and the customer service experience is beyond horrible. I arrived at the center at 7:45am and was told there was a 2 hour wait which I agreed too. After waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes I went to the Service Advisor’s desk to inquire about my car and the anticipated completion time. Initially the person ignored me until I said something after the second time. I’m LIVID my car hasn’t been seen by a Technician for a tire inspection to address the low tire pressure issue. I seriously regret purchasing a car and service plan from this particular dealership. I am requesting a refund of the service plan hopefully I will be fully refunded! I have purchased from Darcars in the past from other manufacturers and have NEVER encountered anything like this CIRCUS of a establishment. As of writing this statement my car was just taken back for service at 10:19am. I have a Securcity system which informs me of ignition starts. Needless to say STAY AWAY from this location unless you have unnecessary time to waste!!!! Finally received my car at 11:20am. I’m disgusted it took 3 hours and 35 minutes for tire inspection and plug ONLY
I have been having issues with my Honda Pliot. My first time being a Honda owner never 👎🏾 again going back to Toyota. The service department here never picks up, customer service is horrible.*****##update, the service department has gotten better, communication with the customer has been quicker but the wait time is still a little long. Good luck, I have since traded my Honda and went back to Toyota.
Agreed upon a protection package when I purchased my car. Upon getting home, noticed the door trim guards were not installed. Called/emailed the sales people I worked with but no replies. Wife went in person and got sales managers name to talk to regarding this issue. Called the sales manager and he put in an order for the parts. Called next week but he didnt know who I was. He said he would call me back with more info but never did. The same conversation repeated the following week. Very frustrating. Before you drive off the lot, make sure you have everything you agreed upon as they could care less after the purchase.

I leased a 2021 CR-V Hybrid and worked with Ben and Milton (and Marcus the sales manager). They all were completely professional, organized, and not pushy from start to finish. They knew the vehicle and it’s options inside and out. They presented the features and options at a pace that could be easily understood. The experience of picking my car and driving it off the lot was great, however if I needed ANYTHING from Darcar after the fact they disappear. Contacted GM about a contract and he promised me a call back to which I never got. They are ghosts. I would never do business with this dealership again. If I would have known this I would have never went thru with the deal.

Before I dive in - let me just say, request to speak with Yoseph! I am only giving 5 stars because of him.Originally I made an appointment with another salesman (because I purchased a car from that person a year ago) but apparently he forgot about the appointment and left before I arrived. Luckily I ran into Yoseph while trying to get in contact with the other salesman. Clearly this was a sign and I am so glad it turned out that way and worked with Yoseph instead!Yoseph is so kind, patient and fun. He made the purchase experience very easy. He listened to my concerns, what we were looking for in the car and tried to meet our needs every step of the way. He was not overbearing or pushy and is a very friendly and easy person to speak with. If you are in the market and looking for a car - do yourself a favor and ask for Yoseph!! I purchased a vehicle in good faith with this dealership, but they have treated me with distain. I have an existing credit for overpayment on my deal and they will not release a check to me for that amount. They told me it is their policy to give me my money when I come in to pick up permanent tags. I find this policy not acceptable, since my money that I overpaid should be refunded as soon as possible. I will never do business with this dealership again. Also I havent received one phone call from my sales representative since my purchase. This is also unacceptable practice, because I buy many Honda cars and have received calls in the past from other dealerships about how I like the car and is there anything I need.

I had an amazing experience at Darcars Honda. We had been shopping around for used cars for a couple of months with little luck and the prices on used cars were up so much do to a shortage. We have purchased 2 vehicles from them in the past however that was quite some time ago. We had been to several different dealerships and the extra hidden fees were so unbelievable that I got upset and frustrated. My salesman, Henry Ajayi and his manager, Marcus Rountree, were willing to work a deal with us that we couldn’t refuse and we drove away with a new 2021 versus a used vehicle. The financing deal was also just as amazing and I appreciated how quick Daniel got us through this process without unnecessary add ons. I would highly recommend you visit Darcars Honda and I am not getting any kickbacks or money for writing this review.

We put a car on reserve so we could get it checked out by our mechanic before buying it. To do that, we put down a $1000 deposit, which they clearly stated was refundable. Got the car checked out and found it was missing the rear drive shaft- big issue for an AWD car! The dealership said it was a mix up and that the car wasnt supposed to be shown to customers and that the drive shaft would be replaced. Why let us put the car on reserve?!? Not feeling great about the whole situation, we decided to walk away and not move forward with the purchase. They have not refunded the $1,000 deposit we had put down on the car. We are still trying to get our refundable deposit back on a car we DID NOT BUY 3+ weeks later!! Really frustrating. We will not go back to this dealership.UPDATE: We worked with the manager, Gary, who was responsive and helpful in refunding our deposit. I’m updating my review to 2 stars because of Gary’s assistance.

Missing leadership and no ownership of responsibility.I had a basic service oil change appointment at 10 AM for my CRV. I was told that if I come in with an appointment then my turnaround time will be faster. Until 12 PM, I was told that my car was not even pulled in the bay. I wanted to talk to the service manager. The current head at the dealership identifying himself as sales manager told me that service manager is out today and theyre is no leadership available. I then wanted to talk to the General Manager of the dealership. I was told that the general manager is out for next 4 days! And there is no one with whom I can register my formal complaint. The leadership was missing and no one wanted to take up the ownership here of poor management. On further discussion they wanted me to write to Honda company directly as if they dont care.I am highly disappointed and they do not conform to Honda service standards.
Incredibly fast buying process, my leasing consultant Willian Ramos and finance manager Senayet Begashaw were very helpful and informative.
Trying to contact service department with no luck. Put on hold three times. Waited 20 minutes before I gave up. This has been my experience for over a year. Th messed up an oil change back in January. Leaked oil all over the place. Gasket was pt on wrong or was not tight enough. Awful
Trash dealer. Stated a car was available that wasn’t even drivable. Classic bait and switch sales tactic and then tried to play coy about it. Unorganized, unprofessional, and wasted my wife and mines afternoon, stay away.
The worst dealership I went to. I got to say that Yoseph was very nice and helpful, but the Cooperate manager was very rude and so unprofessional. When he didnt like the number I gave him, he became very aggressive and has the worst and rudest attitude that I have ever seen. My whole family has Honda and we never experienced anything like this. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE... Take your business to another Honda dealership. I would suggest the Honda Of Laurel because they take the time to walk you through and theyre very professional and will never scream at you.
In all fairness, if it werent for several horrible experiences with my salesman, Id give them 5 stars! Mr. Dillard, Ms. Begashaw, Mr. Rountree and Ms. Butler saved the day. I have seen negative reviews but I received top notch customer service from them and because of that I would recommend Darcars based on my experience. I got a great deal on a car and they have addressed any concerns that I had without the run around. Mr. Dillard and Ms. Begashaw are class acts!
My salesman Yoseph Habtemariam, with the assistance of Kerry Dillard, Daniel Tulloch, Marcus Rountree and Ryan Kelly made my car buying experience the BEST. I have been going back and forth about buying a new vehicle for the past three years. Not because I did not need one, not because I didnt have the means to purchase one but I found the car buying process exhausting. I had been to several dealership in several states and encountered several salesman. All of which for different reasons couldnt move the needle and get me to commit to a deal.This all changed when I met my car team at DARCARS Honda. I am very happy with my purchase and even happier with the level of customer service I received during the purchasing process and after.
Why did I purchase Easy Care bumper to bumper? Service advisor did not seek prior approval to replace steering rack, although the repair would have been a covered repair. This work was performed following an oil consumption test. Michael S did offer to submit claim last month. Claim denied because dealer did not seek prior approval. So, I am caught in a loop! And, I had to follow-up with Easy Care to find out?Please train service advisors to seek prior approval for your other customers. Sad to know my bumper to bumper failed due to human error. Why isnt the service database connected to automatically do so?
I have a Honda Accord 2017 and I have been going to this dealership for my oil changes for the past 3 years. They always come back with new issues, bringing the total to a large sum. This morning I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. They came back and said my battery failed the test and gave me $360 as the price for the new battery (To be fair, the lady was not at her computer and admitted she could be wrong). When I asked her not to change my battery and let me go, she rechecked her numbers and came up with the price as $180. I asked for a discount and was told that she would try applying discounts when I would make the payment (They always apply discounts first and only after agreeing on the price they proceed with the service). But, I agreed to what the lady said and was told it would only take 15 min (I had already waited for 1.5 hours by then). I got my car back after an hour. When I proceeded to payment, the lady told me that $180 was the final amount after discount, which contradicted her earlier statement. I made the payment and came back home. When I took my car out in the afternoon, my TPMS light showed up and when I checked two of the tires had low pressure. These guys rotated my tires but didnt care to check the tire pressure. It just sucks after spending $270 in total at this service center. I will never go back.
Basically got scammed... Came in for a re-inspection that was already payed for at the dealership and ending up paying over $600 worth of repairs that were already fixed. AVOID NEW EMPLOYEES at the service desk if you can, I could tell the new employee Tiara Butler lacked experience and didn’t know what she was doing. Alexis who we worked with initially was great. But Tiara failed to listen to anything I stated I came in for and didn’t communicate anything properly. She acted as if I was in the wrong. Managers had to get involved to somewhat resolve the terrible customer service. This was my first experience at any dealership and I definitely won’t be returning to this location in the future.
As a woman going to a car dealership alone the people there made me feel so comfortable and were understanding of what was affordable and best for me and of course stylish 😊I left with a all black 2020 Honda Civic definitely sexy and fast this is the place to be
If I could give less than 1 star I would. I recommend you STAY AWAY from this dealership. It was a headache from the get go. It all started with a loose drivers side mirror when I bought my car and went down hill from there. They couldnt fix the mirror right away but told me the part would be there in 3 days and they would call me to bring the car back. It took 4 weeks and the only reason it ever got done was because I had to call multiple times each week to try and get a straight answer. Then I got the car back and it smelled like smoke. Then my temp tags expired and I had to call repeatedly to get an update. They ended up having to overnight another temp tag because they could not process the tags in time. By comparison, my mother bought a new car a week later from a different dealership and got her tags in less than a month. Mine took almost 3 months.Overall, the biggest issue was the lack of timely responses from them. Multiple calls and emails and hounding just to get them to respond. Just downright TERRIBLE customer service.
I went into Darcars Honda about 3 weeks ago and it was a smooth and quick process with my vehicle trade for a 2020 Honda Accord. I appreciate the dedication and hard work provided by Ifiok my salesperson. The time he took to show me the vehicle and ensured that I became familiar with the car before leaving the dealership was excellent. Ifiok is very skillful and easy going which added to the great experience. Crystal began the initial application with me and it was straightforward and to the point, she made sure that the process would be worth the time, thank you for your diligence and patience.
I took my 2019 Honda Odyssey in for service to include oil change and a brake fluid change. Of course, they always come back with more services that need to be done. So, I gave my consent to perform the additional services to the tune of 1,100.00. The van is leaking oil. They cant even get the basic maintenance correct. I guess the goal is to provide inferior service and milk the customer.
I had an appointment for 8:30am for the Darscars oil change package for my Infiniti. Days ahead I called and told them they would need to order the oil filter. It is now 1:30pm and I have been told 5 more minutes for the last hour. When I told the service associate that I called and told them to order the filter and included it in the notes of my appointment he said “well I guess they didn’t…” terrible service, terrible seating accommodations for a 5+ hour wait.
I had horrible experience with them for a new car purchase.I am from Pennsylvania and I drove 2 hours on way and went to them yesterday despite many negative reviews on google.I firmly asked them on phone before going for the color and trim I wanted. They said they have it and even negotiated the price. But, when I went there they showed me a different color and tried to sell that to me. When I insisted about the color I wanted the manager said they dont have it and tried to sell me lower trim.First thing I look for people I work with is HONESTY, so I walked away. I noticed that they just cared about was to sell the vehicle, not give the customer what he wanted. Beware if you are thinking about going to them for a purchase.
I would like to say that yoseph is an AMAZING sales person. seriously so down to earth and did everything he could for my family and I. If you’re thinking about buying a car from this dealers then make sure you go to him!!!

Since this business has been taken over by Darcars of Honda the CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ALL DEPARTMENTS IS HORRIBLE. Bring back Honda of Bowie. Please customer take your business elsewhere before youre disappointed
